We had a magnificent stay at Villa Camelia over 3 nights in early August. The home is stunning, exceptionally clean and well cared for, and the views were even better than the already outstanding photographs we had seen beforehand. My wife and I traveled with our 16-year old daughter and 4 of her friends (celebrating their Sweet Sixteen birthdays) and the girls loved taking pictures at sunset from the pool and patio area, and swam in the pool daily. We received excellent and pro-active communication from Christophe and Christelle (who personally greeted us at check-in and our very early 5:30am checkout) along with many recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Staying there was the highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend to those considering a visit.

Beautiful house close to many beaches. Kids loved the pool. We had a lovely stay. The host, Christophe, was very generous with his time. He gave us tips on how to enjoy the area. We would definitely recommend it.

Hands down the most AMAZING home we’ve ever rented! The views alone are worth renting this house! Chris was super helpful and wonderful in showing us the home and providing local recommendations! We all loved the accommodations and Playa Flamingo.

The view is really stunning and that by itself is more than enough. However, the house is also super comfortable and perfectly designed. The host was super helpful and gave us great recommendations tailored to what we were looking for. Would definitely go back again.

We loved this house! It was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The area is perfect as it’s just a short drive to the beach and local restaurants. And the view and sunsets are stunning!

Loved the house. Beach is beautiful and great mornings on the deck listening to monkeys and watching ocean waves crashing was a highlight of the trip. Kitchen was very well stocked and house was super clean. Mini splits in bedrooms kept rooms and living area cool. Comfortable seating in main living made evenings super enjoyable. Christophe had great recommendations. Easy to walk to town or beach, although I do recommend the golf cart rental.

The stay was very clean and very private, with a phenomenal pool and views. The beach is a challenging walk with little kids, but there is plenty of parking if you drive. Would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful Airbnb! The views were breathtaking and truly visible from every room in the house. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured. The location was fantastic—walkable to the beach, although the home sits at the top of the hill, so be prepared for an incline on the walk back. We rented a car during this portion of our trip, which made it even more convenient, and we felt the house was perfectly situated for exploring the area. Christophe was an exceptional host. He responded quickly to every question, provided a wonderful list of local recommendations and activities, and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and nearby beaches! Oh and we saw so many Monkeys!! Once we learned how to hear them and find them, we saw them everywhere near the house!

This was an excellent place for a 3 couple get away! Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom, plus a 1/2 bath in the common area. The views were spectacular and the weather perfect! Christophe was a wonderful host and provided so many amazing suggestions on places to eat, areas to visit, activities and more. One of our best experiences was having a chef come in and prepare a beautiful 35th anniversary celebratory experience! Chef Fernando was amazing. Christophe was super responsive while we were there. We had a small issue with ants, which he responded to immediately. I highly recommend this venue and our host and plan to return! Thanks Christophe for helping make this a vacation to remember!

My family stayed here for 4 nights and had the most incredible time. As the reviews say, the house and views are truly even better than the photos. We loved swimming in the pool, eating outside, and all the surrounding restaurants and beaches. The house is in a great central location and you can even walk to Playa Flamingo and Coco Loco. Christophe was a great host and provided really great recommendations and was very responsive. If we are ever back in the Playa Flamingo area we would definitely stay here again!

The view from the house is beautiful. Close enough to activities but far enough away for peace from the busier tourist areas. Loved the pool. Felt very safe. Yes like the prior guest said there were some ants but I have never stayed anywhere in Costa Rica where some type of wildlife doesn’t get in. That’s the nature of this beautiful place.

We had such a wonderful stay. Easily the most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. It’s the most beautiful view, the beach was amazing and the pool was bigger in person than what I thought from the photos. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk away. It’s steep but we welcomed the exercise. We saw monkeys from the patio and many different types of birds. We appreciated all Christoph’s recommendations and visited many of the restaurants on his list. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
