Excellent house for a family. You can enjoy it to the fullest. The only problem I had was communication. I was never able to communicate with anyone.

We had an amazing stay. I definitely recommend this house 100%. It is located in a very quiet area, perfect for rest and relaxation. The house is super comfortable and spacious. We were 9 adults, 2 girls, and 1 infant, and we all had a great time; there is enough space to spend time together in the living room, eat, and sleep comfortably. It is very well-equipped and has everything you need: blankets, bed linens, kitchen utensils, enough towels for both bathing and the beach, as well as essentials such as napkins, toilet paper, and trash bags. It has a fairly large pool. The air conditioning works perfectly, which makes a big difference. And there's always hot water in the showers. Honestly, we feel that the photos don't do justice to the actual experience of being there. As my only suggestion to make the experience absolutely perfect, I would recommend including shampoo and body soap. We would definitely stay here again 😊

The best location in Loreto. Quiet neighborhood that is walkable to restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach front location with stunning sun rises. On calm days the kayaks and paddle boards were a fun option. Great place for extended family gathering with fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Only small missing items - shampoos and soaps for showers. Something that usually comes with rentals, just bring your own. Thank you for offering an amazing place to celebrate my 60th and for your checking and checkout flexibility.

Champaign accommodations on a beer budget. Can not begin to explain how amazing the location and views are. Only point of advise is to ensure you bring or buy shower items, shampoo, conditioner etc.

Host Response

Thank you so much for your review John, we appreciate them! We will consider this! Welcome anytime!

This home was incredible! It is even better than the photos! The house was so clean, the beds and furniture was comfortable, the kitchen worked out great with everything we needed. The pool was awesome and clean. The kids and adults alike enjoyed it so much! The landscaping was beautiful, so many beautiful flowers! The beach was so close and we used the paddle boards a ton. Saw fish and turtles. The beach was rocky, so recommend wearing water shoes. I would highly recommend this home to any party large enough to take advantage of the 5 beds 5 bath home.

We loved staying at Dreamaway! The house is beautiful, the pool was great, and the private beach access was awesome! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment so it was very easy for us to makes meals during our stay. It was also fun that there were lots of games in the house and lots of water/beach equipment. For our large group it was really nice that each room had its own full bath. Overall, we had a great time - if you're looking for a place for a large group this is the place! A few things to keep in mind: While the kitchen was well stocked, there weren't spices/salt/pepper so if you plan to cook be sure to get some when shopping for ingredients. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash wasn't provided, so don't forget to pack some or get it at the store. Also, we took taxis and at first it was a bit challenging telling them where to pick us up. But once we figured out to tell them it's in Gringolandia it wasn't an issue. If you're debating booking Dreamaway do it! :)

We had a wonderful extended family vacation at Dreamaway. The host was extremely responsive and everything was in perfect condition when we arrived. The house layout is great: large kitchen and shared living space plus five bedrooms each with their own bath, wonderful back patio steps from the ocean. A guy came up along the beach one day and sold us freshly caught fish which we turned into amazing cerviche! I wish the weather had been a bit warmer and less windy though it was within the normal range for this time of year (early January). Nothing the hosts could really do about the weather except that the pool, which was supposedly heated, was really not usable. We weren’t able to use the paddle boards or kayaks due to choppy conditions. If you stay here I highly recommend you make the trek to La Picazon, four miles down a dirt road just north of Loreto in El Bajo. The food, hospitality and scenery were amazing!

Dreamway is a spacious and charming house directly on the beach within a private development in Grinoglandia, Loreto. The views of the ocean and area are pristine - and despite the accessibility to downtown Loreto the area felt relatively secluded. The pool was heated and excellent, and breadth of ocean related accessories were a great addition. The area is a meaningful distance (20ish minute walk) from downtown so a vehicle is recommended if you're planning on cooking or traveling much. We rented scooters from Baja Mia (a great little activity and rental center) and they were ideal for getting around the town quickly and easily. One downside to the location is it's a fairly small and remote town and the non-restaurant food supply chain is fairly limited, as is the non-tequila/mezcal or beer based alcohol options - but this is at most a minor inconvenience. Make sure you take a boat out to Isla Coronado during your stray. Definitely recommend!

Great house. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Gas stove was super nice to have. Glad we brought some of our favorite spices for cooking. This was our fifth trip to Loreto. Lovely town, everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Best tortillas - Tortilleria Harina y Maiz Dulce. Best place to have your fish cooked - Mi Loreto. Amazing seafood - Buena Vida. Best place and proce for bags of oranges - on Calle Benito Juarez a couple blocks up from the Tortilleria. Best fishing captain - Francisco Martinez (boat name Elina Yamel).

Perfect property for our group of five couples. Pool is equipped with a heater, but it wasn’t working during our stay - only negative thing that we would say about the booking.

Stunning house, beautiful seaside location on the north end of Loreto (not Loreto Bay). Thoughtfully equipped and furnished - nothing we needed was lacking. Comfy beds and clean linens. Ample tables and chairs for gatherings, inside and out. The plumbing worked fine. Drinking water is provided. Be aware that the roads as shown on online maps don't necessarily exist (one was blocked by a concrete wall) and the house is located in a maze of new houses on nameless unpaved roads. So, pay careful attention to the arrival instructions that the Host provides. Unless you are a dedicated walker, you will be happier with a rental car, as it's quite a hike into town to dine out or get groceries. (We were reluctant to rent a car, but we saw it was necessary, and it worked out fine.) In Feb. the pool and ocean were too chilly for swimming, but we spent lots of quality time on the patio overlooking the sea. It seems like a pricey rental, but you really get a huge amount of bang for your buck.

This home is exceptional! Great location! It's a 20 minute walk from the center of Loreto by beach or road in an enclave of 2 dozen homes. It appeared to be one of the largest of the beachfront homes in the enclave with only one abutting neighbor home. Private, quiet with fantastic postcard views! The open living, dining, kitchen area was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen was well equipped, dining area spacious and comfy couches and chairs in the living area PLUS shelves filled with books from local interest to some of the newest fiction. The ensuite bedroom/ bath arrangement was fantastic. Some bedrooms had total room darkening, some hard, some soft beds so great options for all. All in our group kept commenting on what a great house we had chosen. Yes, there were a few things that needed attention, but honestly, very few. A kitchen cabinet door and a couple aging sling chairs on the patio. This rental was just amazing!

This is a stunning home right on the beach. Great for large family or traveling with two families. They have kayaks and paddle boards and a beautiful pool. As others have mentioned, it’s not heated which is a bummer as it is really cold. Another reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars - if I could it would be like 4.75 stars are the beds. They are pretty darn hard. I think they could benefit from some sort of topper (we all agreed). It’s technically within walking distance to downtown (1.5 miles) but multiple trips were sometimes hard. We ended up getting a car. Kathy the host was super helpful and responsive.

I did not hear from the host Dreamaway either the day I contacted them requesting information for a booking six months in advance, the day the booking was made and I received my confirmation email six months ago , or any time during that. They, Dreamaway, have a point of contact who lives near this booking, who thankfully knew one of the other guests that was staying with me and the others, and she was in contact with that other guest. However I, the one that made the booking and paid for it, never heard from the host nor their designated point of contact till 12hrs after my check in time, asking through Airbnb what was the code to enter the house, of which they said their point of contact would contact me, which still never did. I’d be concerned for whoever made a booking here or with Dreamaway unless they knew them, or their point of contact, personally, given the lack of communication. Otherwise a BEAUTIFUL house and pool!! Some of the air conditioning units didn’t work in some of the rooms and toilet seats were dirty and busted. LOTS of flys gather in the kitchen like a gross amount - thankful they had a fly swatter handy but killing a dozen every other hour was gross.

Beautiful and comfortable house with amazing views. We enjoyed the pool, kayaks and SUPs, and lounging on the comfy leather sofas. The kitchen could use basic amenities such as salt & pepper and wine glasses. The bathrooms have no soap or shampoo. We’d love to stay here again but will be more prepared next time.

This house is amazing for large groups! The layout of the home offers privacy for each room, while also offering large common spaces. We loved being right on the beach (outside foot washing station and shower were so helpful!) and having the large outdoor space. The home was close enough to the airport and town that it was easy to access everything we wanted, but far enough away that it felt very private. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

We had a wonderful stay at Dreamaway in December 2021. We were two families with two adult children each, and the house was very comfortable for the group. The location is lovely, with beautiful dawns and moonrises over the sea, and paddleboarding and kayaking was great. That said, the sea is quite cold at this time of year -- no lingering in the water! -- and the lovely pool was, alas, too cold to use. We took a wonderful boat trip with Loreto Sea and Land Tours out to Coronado island, where, with wet suits, we snorkeled and swam with sea lions -- fantastic! -- and also an excellent fishing expedition. We had some great meals in town, and enjoyed golf and a trip out to the mission. A terrific vacation!

Great house and nice location !!

This house works out perfect for our family! It’s the second time we’ve stayed there. Plenty of room for the 10 of us and a great floor plan that allows my mom total access even though she’s confined to a wheel chair. Place is super clean and has every amenity we want, including kayaks, diving gear, SUP. Setting couldn’t be better, quiet, right on the ocean and very close to town. We’ll be back.

Beautiful home in a great location perfect for a large family vacation. Overall amazing experience. We were able to walk the beach to the malecón for breakfast in the mornings, then walked downtown and shopped and grabbed a cab back. The home has everything you could need. Only thing to look out for is the room doors lock very easily leaving you locked out.

This was an amazing place to stay. The view was amazing, house was incredible, and so close to town. We will be coming back for sure.

Had an awesome experience staying at this house, the house is beautiful, super clean, have all the equipment you need to have fun at the beach, snorkeling gear, paddle boards, kayaks. kitchen is fully equipped so you dont have to worry about anything when its time to cook. Kathy was awesome and really helpful ask her for the boat trip from outpost charters you wont regreat it. i would definitely stay at this house again i loved it. (the directions to get to the house can be kinda hard to understand they said no GPS can take you but i used it and worked fine hopefully they can just share this drop pin to make it easier and its easy to find from google maps since is the only house with and L shape pool https://goo.gl/maps/2ZcYwNm1G13w6uCr8)

This was our first time in Loreto. We were a group of couples. This house was PERFECT!!!!!! Each room had its own ensuite bathrooms, all rooms were the same size and each room was super private. The paddle boards and kayaks were so much fun and took advantage of it. The pool and patio area is where we spent a lot of our time. Morning coffee with picturesque views was our daily ritual. The house was spotless, beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen had all that you would need to cook a meal. The location of the house was about a 20 minute walk on the beach to the malecon. We often walked and took cabs back. By doing this we met a few cabbies that we got their number and would help us out. Look out for the clam divers in front of the house. We were able to have plates of fresh clams (almejas) where the diver cut and cleaned it. SOOO delicous!! WE also made friends with the tamale guy on a moped ,,,, the best tamales ever! Kathy was awesome very responsive to anything we needed. She even helped us with massages at the house, there is nothing like having a massage at your ocean front home! I highly recommend this house for families, groups, and couples. WE really loved it and told all our friends. Thank you!

It's a place to fully enjoy!!!

Casa Blanca is one of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. We had a group of 10 and there's so much space to spread out and be comfortable. The patio/pool area is incredible to lounge at and the direct access to the beach made for great sunrises and morning and afternoon paddles on the SUPs and kayaks. A realistic walking time to the center of town is 20-25 minutes depending on your pace, a little bit shorter if you walk along the beach to the malecon. Very safe area with friendly neighbors. We did rent a car to save some walking time to and from town and to shuttle the group to and from the airport. The house is incredibly clean and Kathy was able to accommodate a late check out. Kathy coordinated having Chef Alejandro come over to cook us a wonderful dinner spread of chicken enchiladas and carne asada quesadilla/tacos and chips and guac. A lot of visitors in town but if you want to live like a local (eat, drink, play), just ask around. This was my second trip to Loreto and would highly recommend Casa Blanca especially if you have a great group to travel with. I wish I was still there!
