There are many great places in the Playa Grande general area. The fact that I've come back to Mattia's place should tell you all you need to know.

Great location! It’s within walking distance of the beach and has a wonderful outdoor seating area.

It's a comfortable, safe and welcoming place, fully equipped and clean. From there we went to other beaches and places without any problem – by car. The beach is a 10-minute walk away, and the sunsets are the best. It's also ideal for surfing! We loved it.

Our experience was excellent. From the first moment, the host was very attentive, friendly, and transparent. Due to a system error, the booking price appeared lower than usual, and yet he decided to honor it, which speaks very well of his honesty and commitment to his guests. The accommodation met our expectations: it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, which made our long stay very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again. We spontaneously booked this vacation home for four nights and were very satisfied! The amenities of the accommodation were well thought out, it had everything you needed. The hosts were always easy to reach, responded quickly and were able to give us many tips for the time of our stay. In the morning and evening we received a visit from the howler monkeys, which was always a highlight. The terrace is very cozy, unfortunately the ventilation of the restaurant next door is very loud (until about half past eight in the evening), but usually you are on the road most of the time anyway ;) The place Playa Grande is generally an incredibly beautiful place to be 🫶🏻 Thanks Mattia and Taty for the wonderful time with you!

Mattia and Tatiana are great hosts! I highly recommend staying at their place. The house is beautiful and with a great location with lots of things to do. Something personal came up for us, and Mattia and Tatiana were very helpful and understanding. I can’t wait to go back and stay at their place.

Extremely convenient location, pleasant to Playa Grande, well stocked kitchen, great air conditioning in the bedrooms. The home had many nice touches and decorations. Excellent security.

This was our third stay here, so that tells you how much we like it! We love being in Playa Grande, a cozy town with a great big lovely quiet beach, and this private home is so well located. It’s got all the tools for cooking at home, and it’s also next to some great restaurants. We walk the beach every morning and evening (a few minutes drive, but you could also walk there on the road). It’s a great surfing beach for intermediate to advanced surfers. The hustle and bustle of the more touristy town of Tamarindo is close enough that we drive there for the beginner surfing and other activities, but we love staying in the quieter town of Playa Grande. The house has a great patio with outdoor seating and a hammock for coffee and meals outside, and howler monkey and parrot watching (and even an armadillo this trip), good WiFi, AC in the bedrooms, good hot water, comfy beds, and extras like a blender for smoothies, big screen TV for rainy nights, etc. We’ll be back!!

It was a perfect stay for my husband, my two teen daughters, and the four of us. The kitchen was simple but well-equipped and easy to use. I was glad there was a rice cooker. When a tree fell on the roof during our stay, they responded quickly. The location was also especially great.

The place was super clean and easy to get into. Mattia was easy to reach and very kind. Definitely worth staying at. We loved it!
