The condo had a great layout for a group trip with beautiful views of Puerto Vallarta

We absolutely loved our week long stay in Puerto Vallarta. The penthouse was perfect for our family of eight - plenty of room, comfortable, and relaxing. The view was beautiful and the walk to the beach each day was a pleasure. It's about a mile through the Zona Romantica past restaurants and markets. Jean is incredibly responsive and friendly. I only wish we had been able to stay a few more weeks.

Jean has been exceptional to deal with. We have been to Puerto Vallarta several times and know this location very well. We reserved his condo 6 month in advance for a family vacation for 3 weeks. Due to unfortunate circumstances we needed to cancel with very short notice. We were concerned about the last minute request. Jean was extremely understanding and supported our request. We were very grateful for all of his communications leading up to our holiday and his gracious understanding of the situation. We look forward to rebooking in the future. This place is *elite!* Absolutely one of the nicest Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The property is stunning, in a very good location, and Jean is very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the penthouse. We would stay again. At first I was nervous that we were far from the Malecón, but once we walked it, it really wasn’t that bad. The walk isn’t up or down hill so that’s a huge plus. The condo amenities are great and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. Local restaurants are nearby and great with lots of options. Overall, 10/10!!

This place was so spacious for all of us! I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta multiple times and have stayed at multiple airbnbs, so being right on the beach wasn’t a priority. Being back from the Malecon gave us the most extraordinary views of the city, the mountains, and the ocean! The walk into town was flat and easy and you pass so many adorable little restaurants and shops on the way. If you want to uber it takes about 4 minutes and is very affordable. I would definitely stay here again with a large group! We had zero issues with the condo and it was well stocked. I will share that the church bells ring loudly pretty early every morning, however, that is not uncommon with several places we have stayed. We choose RZ for the culture, right?

I stayed at Rivera Cuale with 6 other people who helped me celebrate my 60th birthday. Jean was very communicative and was there when we arrived. He showed us the grounds and then to us to the Penthouse. When the elevator opened I was struck by how beautiful the condo was. Marble floors and top of the line finishes. The condo was huge, and there were four bathrooms for each of the four bedrooms. The place is much nicer than the photos! Sliding doors open from the living area onto a large patio where you could see the entire town and with views of the ocean. The condo has every ammenity including washer/dryer, ironing board/iron, large kitchen with appliances, and air conditioning if you need it (the breeze from outside and the ceiling fans kept us quite comfortable. Although I thought it might be a trek to the ocean, it really wasn't bad, and was thankfully flat the entire way. The walk to town is lined with charming shops and places to eat. I'll definitely back!

Wonderful clean and spacious condo! Beautiful views. We had a great vacation! Area is safe, walkable, and would stay here again if returned. Only complaint was a broken dryer. But otherwise all was functioning. Jean is very responsive.

First of all, what a gorgeous view!! We came here with a group of friends and had an amazing time. It was so convenient that each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. We really loved being able to have a great view from the living room and the patio. The location was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was a FLAT walk!! So appreciated! Security at the building was super kind. Jean was SO responsive and so friendly! We absolutely loved staying here and would 100% stay here again.

Absolutely incredible stay! This Airbnb, just steps from the Romantic Zone, was everything we could have hoped for and more. The location was perfect—close to amazing restaurants, vibrant nightlife, and stunning beaches, yet tucked away in a private, gated community with friendly and dedicated security. The home itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. The pool was a fantastic bonus, providing the perfect spot to cool off and unwind after exploring the city. What really made the stay exceptional was the layout—each couple in our group had their own private bathroom, which turned out to be especially valuable when a few of us rolled the dice on some questionable seafood. From start to finish, everything about this place was top-notch. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and a little bit of luxury in an unbeatable location, this is the spot! Our group is already planning to stay here again.

We actually had originally booked elsewhere, but had some concerns and changed our reservations to this beautiful oasis. What a stroke of luck!!! This home is absolutely breathtaking! It is very safe and secure. We walked around the neighborhood both day and night without concern. (night meaning in before 1am). So much local flavor to soak in. It is close to the action, but far enough away if you want some peace. The home is super spacious. The veranda is so relaxing to enjoy breakfast or drinks, or simply soak in some afternoon sun. Jean was a super host. Very responsive to any messages, especially once we touched down in Mexico. When our coffee maker wasn't working, Jean purchased and cleaned a new one so it was ready the next morning for coffee. The only suggestion for travelers is if you aren't a morning person, maybe earplugs or download a sound machine app if you are in the back of the home. It can be a little noisy in the early morning. Highly recommend this home!!!

This our fourth stay at Rivera Cuale, and our second in the PH, managed by Jean. The location is ideal for us, back from the noise and bustle of the beachfront, but walkable to everything in Old Town. We particularly like the small markets nearby. Just across the river are possibly the best shrimp tacos in PV. The views are stunning, with walls of windows that open to make an indoor outdoor paradise. The security guards are cheerful and helpful. We might suggest it’s time for new couches.

Jean was very responsive. He met us at the unit, showing us everything. We were a group of seven, it accommodated all of us comfortably. Beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, and the city. Loved the main bathroom shower and tub. Was a little disappointed that the jets didn’t work in the tub, but it was a big deal. Great value for what you get. There is a little convenience store just down the street, or you have the local fruit stand and a market just a short walk down the street. For longer distances, Uber was not a problem, and they were pretty inexpensive. Two thumbs up, highly recommend this property!

Great location and an amazing view. Its a 5 minute walk to where everything starts to be. Security for the place is really good as well. Jean responded very fast and helped right away with anything that needed fixing.

This place is incredibly beautiful. It is a penthouse with sweeping views. You can see everything—the ocean, the mountains, and the town around you. In addition, the building is located on the bank of the river Cuale, so you can see the river and hear its burble day and night. Our mornings and evenings on the terrace were beautiful. The building has a great pool as well. The building is located in the residential part of Puerto Vallarta, close to Zona Romantica. The neighborhood is very local but perfectly safe and friendly; we walked it day and night. It is full of small stores and taco stands, and kids play on the streets. We shopped at the Zapato market and in the little fish and vegetable stores and ate tacos at all taco stands in the neighborhood. If you are tired of taco stands, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Local people here enjoy music, which can be a bit too noisy at night. So, if you are a sensitive sleeper, grab your earplugs.

Jean was extremely kind, with a beautiful home. We had a splendid time in his wonderful space, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Puerto Vallerta.

Wow!!! This place is better than pictures even capture. You get in the elevator click penthouse floor and the doors open directly into your rooftop penthouse. It’s incredible. The house is located just a short flat 15min walk from the beach. Its beautiful and has every amenity you could possibly need. The condominium felt extremely safe and the 24hr security guards are super friendly. Jean is a great host and was super welcoming. He showed us how to use everything in the apartment and all the good local eats. The loss of the pool during the last hurricane is a true loss, it’s the only thing that would have made this place better but hopefully one day it will be rebuilt. Definitely would recommend this Airbnb if considering a trip to zona romantica in PV.

We loved staying at Jean’s condo! It was perfect for our family trip of 6. We had so many nice nights sitting out having dinner on the patio with the beautiful views. There were excellent food markets close by as well as restaurants within walking distance. We loved the area and there was so much to discover walking around. The condo itself was pristine, with so many bathrooms and bedrooms everyone had a ton of personal space! We would absolutely come back and want to stay here!

I can't rave enough about Jean and this place. The view will shock and somehow calm you everytime. My group of 6 friends stayed and watched the sunset every single day. The building itself is truly beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are so much bigger and nicer than you could imagine. My friends and I are booking this place again a full year in advance because of how much we liked it. The host Jean is so charming and welcomed us with open arms. I had a flight delay the day I was supposed to leave and he was accommodating, let me do a late checkout, and made me feel safe. Puerto Vallerta itself is gorgeous on it's own--add a place like this as your destination and you just can't go wrong. It's beautiful in and out and well located. Note, the walk is not only SIMPLE, but it is FLAT. You won't be going up crazy hills or steep highway roads, and there is a quick and easy convenience store nearby. If you're hesitant, don't be. The view alone will make it worth it. Thanks!

We loved our stay! The condo was beautiful and the breezes and views were fantastic. Wonderful restaurants right in the neighborhood. And an easy, flat walk through the romantic zone to the beach. Definitely recommend!

A great place to stay with a lovely space to relax and very close to the main bars and restaurants. The beach was only 20 mins walk away and we found it easy to get around from here. The apartment was in great condition with very comfortable beds.

This penthouse is amazing. It’s perfect for larger groups. There are small restaurants and places to eat within a short walking distance. The beach is about a 20 min walk away.

The penthouse was great! Beautiful views, easy 10-15 min walk to the downtown shops, nightlife and beach. Spacious and well maintained complex with a security guard. Can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come and stay again. Jean was very responsive to any issues or questions. The penthouse is even more beautiful in person. The place was very clean, the furnishings are in good condition. We enjoyed the art and comfortable beds. The location was very convenient to walk to the town or restaurants and the security was very friendly and helpful in calling a taxi, etc.

Great views of the city and ocean! Just a short walk from the ocean. The unit is lovely and has very nice layout. it was a very comfortable stay, and I would gladly stay here again!

Absolutely stunning residence in an excellent location. This is a beautiful condo close enough to everything PV has to offer and just enough blocks away from the noisy bars and busy resorts. We will absolutely book this condo again when we need 3 or 4 bedrooms. We have been coming to PV for many years and are thankful the condo we had originally booked fell through, bc it allowed us to find this amazing place. There are no street steps up to this condo. Looking at the map before booking we were a little hesitant bc we know sometimes going just a few streets inland in the galley district or even slightly further south in ZR there are extremely steep steps up to the homes. It would not have been much of an issue for our group, had it been up some steps, but it is not the case with the location of this condo. You’re only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. There are fruit and meat markets just a couple blocks away and excellent street food. We love the PV community and were extremely happy with the location of the Rivera Cualle condo building. Staying in the penthouse here is like staying at a luxury resort without having to deal with the hundreds of people at resorts. We saw other residents less than 6 times during our week here. This is absolutely a 10/10 for PV vacation rentals.

I enjoy stayingin this appartment... the host is amazing... the only thing is that theirs no pool due to the hurricane that destroyedthe pool area... otherwise I loved it.

This space is large and beautiful. The rooms each have a balcony that offers beautiful views of the mountainous jungles, city, and ocean surrounding the building. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house has AC, which is effective and necessary. The pool is beautiful, clean, and kept at a comfortable temperature. The building is gated and staffed with 24/7 security. They are kind and extremely helpful and will even call you cars when you need to get to and from places. The location is a bit far flung from things and at night you have to delve a bit into the city and away from touristy areas to get home. Grabbing a car is pretty cheap so you can always do that. Overall things you see and the shops you pass and have the opportunity to explore very much so make the extra journey worthwhile. Overall I’d highly recommend this beautiful space as I’d felt every need was met during my stay. Jean was incredibly kind and welcoming and makes the entire experience a breeze. Thank you, Jean, for a wonderful week!

This is an absolutely amazing penthouse. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s sparkling clean, well equipped and had everything you need. Beds sleep great, AC works fantastic. It’s has beautiful views and Jean the host is just wonderful. We had 5 people and it was so perfect. Can’t wait to go again. I would highly recommend this place to people who want a luxurious experience in PV. Truly beautiful!

This place was an amazing spot to stay at. We were looking for something luxurious for a birthday celebration vacation and this ticked all the boxes. The view is incredibly. The place is very spacious. Jean was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. Felt very safe with friendly security always present. The pool was great to cool down in after a day of exploring and gave us the opportunity to meet other residents. Highly recommend!

Great condo, great location, and great vacation

Exceptional staff filled with carisma, security was important to us and them. We felt very welcomed and the location was great. By far one of the best penthouses we’ve stayed in.

The place is AWESOME. We had 7 people and not once did it seem like we were cramped. Every person we came across was very nice and pleasant. Our host was FANTASTIC. He showed us the place and we were all just breathless at the views and the place. The master bedroom and bath is huge and very spacious, did I mention all rooms has its own bath? This is the top of the line in places to stay. The gate guards were so nice and made us feel like family from our stay. We were able to talk to a few people in the building and all were very nice and helped us with directions and more things to do. We walked to the Melecon in the morning and walked back around 11pm and not once did anybody say or look at us to make us feel uncomfortable. We even made friends at the local store across the street. We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer. Thank you for the great hospitality and the awesome Penthouse.

The pictures don’t do Jean’s place justice!!! This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in! My favorite part was how wide the doors opened up to the main balcony and the VIEW... so pretty. We had 8 people (4 couples) stay here and every couple got their own room, balcony and bathroom. I stayed in the master bedroom and it was absolutely dreamy. I never unpack my whole suitcase when I travel but I did this time just so I could utilize the enormous walk-in closet and feel like I was truly living in luxury lol. We used the kitchen a lot, as it’s fully equipped. There are tons of local shops nearby to buy groceries from and endless taco stands, in case you get hungry while you’re shopping or heading to the beach :) Speaking of the beach...the beach is an easy 15 min walk away. There are a ton of shops to see along the way so it’s pretty fun. I would love to stay at Jean’s place again if I’m ever in Puerto Vallarta! It’s literally my dream home <3

Jean was an amazing host and this property is beautiful! We loved every minute we spent here, while it is not “downtown in the romantic zone” it’s an easy walk past some amazing places to eat and a wonderful local fruit market. The views here were wonderful on clear nights you can see the bay and sunset!

Our stay at Jean’s place was absolutely amazing. The views are stunning and every bedroom has its own private bathroom and balcony view!! Home was equipped with sufficient supplies such as bedding and towels. The home is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and downtown where there are many restaurants, shopping, and much more. our family loved it and we will definitely be staying here again.
