Excellent stay. All the rooms were very clean and tidy, and the place was very nice and large. We were a large group, and it was excellent for the occasion.

This house was perfect for our party of 13! There was so much space, and almost every room had its own bathroom, with the exception of the bunk bed room. Everything was clean, but a couple of sheets had some stains, the AC worked great, and we never felt crowded even with such a large group. The location was also a huge plus! It was centrally located and we were able to walk to bars, restaurants, and other places nearby. I also loved the vending machine, it was such a convenient and fun little touch! My only complaint would be the amount of stairs, but honestly, the way the house is laid out also gave everyone more privacy and space since the bedrooms weren't right next to each other. The photos show the stairs, so it wasnt a surprise. The host was extremely attentive, communicative, and very friendly throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely beautiful and in a fantastic, walkable area, with wonderful restaurants, food options, and charming cafés just around the corner. What we loved most was how thoughtfully the space was designed. There were different room accommodations that offered everyone privacy and comfort, while the central kitchen and patio created a wonderful gathering space for conversations and time together with our family and friends. The upstairs terrace was another lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It truly feels like the best of both worlds — you get the comfort, cleanliness, and ease of a boutique hotel, but with the warmth and feeling of being at home. It’s especially perfect for traveling with family or a group of friends, because everyone can have their own space while still having beautiful shared areas to gather. The host was also incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay!

It is an excellent place to rest... The area is one of the most beautiful in Guadalajara. It's safe to go around the area. In addition, transportation is accessible. The house is very spacious, just as seen in the photos. The host was very friendly, accessible and flexible. On my next visit to GDL, I will definitely stay here again.

The place was spacious and had at least two common spaces to hang out with family, both outdoors so be mindful of weather. It did not bother us since umbrellas provided cover from sun and the light rain. The rooms were just as pictured, it provided enough closeness yet enough separation so everyone had enough privacy. The triple bunk beds were a little scary but the kids LOVED and were thrilled by them. Upon entry there is a reception area, with a vending machine which was a absolute life saver for purchasing drinks without having to leave the house. Each room has its own personality and style, the beds were comfy. All restrooms and kitchen were stocked with enough supplies. They came to clean once during our stay and the ladies were very nice and worked around our needs. There is lots of local places to walk to eat including a pharmacy and bakery and some shops. We were lucky street parking was always available. It felt like a safe neighborhood. Would absolutely recommend.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our party of 16 adults. The location is great. The rooms were pretty and the shared spaces were particularly amazing. Hang on the large patio and listen to the city as you enjoy your stay here.

Jose was an incredible host. He connected us with local services, made wonderful recommendations, and was always very quick to respond. Casa Irake is a beautiful bnb on a safe and quiet street next to great restaurants. This was easily my favorite place I have ever stayed.

The house is very nice and cozy; all the rooms are comfortable and nice. The kitchen is quite well stocked and functional. Our entire stay was very pleasant. The area where the house is located is very quiet and central.

This place was perfect. I stayed here the week of my wedding with family and friends. We used every room. I would a million percent recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Guadalajara for any occasion. Below are just some additional details that made this visit spectacular. Pros: - comfortable beds, extra blankets - staff came 3x during my 1 week stay to clean the rooms, bring new towels, clean the house - super quick and responsive host, gave us recommendation for nearby hospital when one of my guests got sick - super walkable neighborhood, plenty of restaurants and cafes just steps away (and a night market) - easy check in, private rooms, safe neighborhood - we could always find street parking right in front of the house or less than 1 block away - stunning kitchen and very spacious

We rented the entire house for a week to bring the family together for a special birthday celebration. It was magical. The house easily accommodated everyone - ranging in age from 2 to 80. José and Diana went all out to make us comfortable. The housekeeping staff were equally helpful and delightful. The house is beautiful and well maintained and equipped. The neighborhood is convenient but the street is quiet. We walked everywhere. I can’t say enough good about Jose, Diana, their team, and this beautiful house.

José was a great host! He let us check in early and leave our bags, due to my daughter being baptized that day. All of my family loved the house so clean and beautiful! It was walkable to the expiatorio where my baby was baptized! Would 100% recommend. ❤️

Great place to stay and amazing hosts

We booked Casa Irake for a large family gathering over the Christmas holiday. The place was beautiful decorated and very spacious- lots of room for us to gather, enjoy meals together, and perfectly located for walking or biking all over Guadalajara. Jose and Diana were very responsive to every question. We had a wonderful time.

This place is amazing, the location is perfect and it is two blocks from the Expiatorio de Gdl where you can find everything to eat and many snacks, the house is very nice, the whole place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and attentive and they supported us with everything or pending that we had, I recommend this place for family events or just to stay privately, it has everything you need and the rooms are very comfortable, It's worth what you pay for the service, and in addition to that, it meets the requirements as if it were a hotel with all the amenities. My family and I had a family event at our annual inn, and the place was amazing to prepare the event. I felt very supported at all times by the staff, and the linens on the beds and bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely come back again. Thanks to all the staff and managers for making our stay happy.

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was excellent, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in the Colonia Americana area. José was very responsive and helpful throughout. The only drawback for us was the number and placement of security cameras, including some pointing toward the entrances of each room, which felt like an invasion of privacy. We understand surveillance at the main entrance or outside, but having so many in the common indoor areas felt excessive. Still, the quality of the space is great overall, just maybe don’t walk out of your room naked! ;-)

The most beautiful Bnb! We absolutely loved this house. I definitely recommend it for a big family! It was nice having so many areas to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. We walked to the center of Guadalajara and enjoyed the markets and churches around there. Tons of restaurants and places to see. Will be back!

Our stay at José’s and Diana's apartment was nothing short of amazing! The space is beautifully designed, with a perfect layout that gave everyone their own sense of privacy — each room felt like its own retreat. But the true showstopper is the rooftop terrace. Spacious, peaceful, and with incredible bar, it quickly became our favorite spot to relax, unwind, and take it all in. Whether it was early morning coffee or evening sunsets, the terrace was absolute perfection. The location is unbeatable — centrally located and super accessible to so many of Guadalajara’s highlights. We were able to explore the city easily and loved how vibrant and walkable the neighborhood felt. Plus, after a frustrating incident in Tlaquepaque, José went above and beyond to recommend a secure, reliable garage nearby, which gave us real peace of mind. José and the team were incredibly welcoming, kind, and understanding throughout our stay. Their hospitality made a great trip even better!

My family, friends and I had an incredible time, we felt right at home. The house, rooms were just as described and most importantly we would definitely return. The house was perfect to welcome and have our family and friends to Guadalajara for our catholic wedding. The house was walking distance to the church El Expiatorio which we loved and walked for late night cravings. Definitely and highly recommended.

I booked Jose's house for my 30th birthday and it couldn't be any more perfect. House was located in Colonia Americana which offered an array of restaurants to walk to, cafe's and bakery's to grab something small from. At anytime we needed something or had a question Jose was very responsive and answered our questions easily. The house accommodated us perfectly and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book with a big party. Since there was 8 of us, we had access to the entire property.

We rented the house for the whole family and were very comfortable. It's very nice, with lots of plants. Very comfortable the beds. The kitchen had everything to prepare food and shops were very close by. We had a pleasant time on the terraces. For a moment we struggled to get hot water for everyone, but José very kindly helped us to solve it right away. Completely recommended!

I was in town for my brothers wedding and was able to host a dinner with our family from the city and be able to have them all under the same roof truly made this memorable!! We were able to gather daily up in the terrace make some amazing memories! Will be booking again!

Great place

José was an amazing host! The airbnb itself was just stunning. We had a group of 13 and everyone got a bed (6 couples and one single person). There are several communal areas to hangout in and the rooftop bar was just the cherry on top. Everyone loved the house. There were also walkable coffee shops and restaurants just around the corner. Also Chapultepec is a 14 minute walk or 5 minute uber ride if night life is what you’re interested in. Jose was responsive and gave great recommendations. Definitely would recommend staying here if you are traveling with a large group.

We rented the whole space for our immediate families to celebrate our marriage in the church, and a couple birthdays. We were able to use the space as a venue for dinner and Jose was a gracious host, allowing us to make it easy for our families to celebrate together, in one space. Everyone loved it. Absolutely gorgeous space, and will always hold a special place in our hearts because we did our “first look” photos before leaving for the church. Loved being able to bring two families together in one space, and the ambiance and plants and decor were just absolute icing on the cake. Thank you Jose and team for allowing us a dream come true, your space is magical and hope others will feel it too! A note for others: the bunk rooms do not have A/C, so for those traveling from cooler places and not used to heat, just something to be aware of :)

José and his team at Casa Irake were awesome. The stay and the accommodations were everything we asked for. We came with a large bachelor party and we were pleased on all the rooms, extra spaces and amenities available. We had a problem with one of the toilets but Jose was able to fix it quickly. He was always communicating to make sure we had all that we needed. He also gave great recommendations for things to do and places to visit/eat. The location was great and a block away from a lot of good food. Very close to the strip downtown where there were many bars and things to do at night. We felt very safe during the trip and would def recommend.

My husband and I chose this house to host our bridal party for our upcoming wedding. On top of this, we were arriving very early and asked for an early check in. Host was communicative and kind, he allowed both. He was also responsive and replied within seconds every time. The location was perfect waking distance to several restaurants, shops, banks, etc. Everyone felt safe and comfortable. Only thing to note, aside from the bedrooms, property is open and outdoors. We had several issues with mosquitoes and bugs (seems to be a general issue with Mexico). We highly recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

In general, everything was very good. The large rooms, comfortable beds, with its own bathroom and AC, except for the 3 bedrooms that have a bunk bed that share an outside bathroom and have fan. The very spacious place with a very nice terrace and good location.

We came to Guadalajara for my daughter's wedding. This place was big enough for our family and friends to stay with us comfortably, which I really loved! The location was great, there are many good restaurants and stores within walking distance (including a yummy chocolate shop). Jose is very responsive and helpful. Only critiques I have are that the hot water is somewhat inconsistent throughout the house (but Jose did do his best to alleviate this problem). Also, it would be nice to have more of a living room/ congregating space downstairs for those guests that are older and struggle with stairs. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!!

We rented the whole place located in Colonia America. It was in a quiet location in the middle of the city. Communication was great with the host. Any issues were addressed promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Irake especially the terrace area. It was walkable to many restaurants, bars, cafes, small grocery stores and tourist locations within blocks. Very close to Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento Church. Highly recommend to stay at this location.

Renting out Casa Irake was one of the best Airbnb's I've ever traveled to. A private oasis in the middle of Colonia Americana was perfect for my large group, as there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, bars, within walking distance. We had an awesome time on the terrace and would love to come back.

We stayed for a birthday celebration and the house couldn’t have been more perfect. Everyone had their own space, but we were still together which was important. Plenty of restrooms was also great! Each room had its own AC which was super helpful as we were there in the beginning of summer. Jose was super nice and flexible in accommodating us when we were leaving and helped us out by allowing us to check out at noon while we waited for our Uber to the airport. Recommend this place for big groups! We had a blast!

I stayed at Jose’s place with my family and extended family. There were 15 of us total and we fit comfortably. Jose was very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. At one point I even locked myself out of my room and he was quick to come over and help me get back in. I really appreciated how friendly he was. I definitely recommend this beautiful home!

This place is a gem. Sleeps so many people but you all have your private space. Plenty of bathrooms, common space, beds. Loved the terrace with the bar upstairs. Great location. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. Quick walk or Uber to el centro or to Chapultepec. There are stairs, 2 to 3 floors. 4 rooms on the base floors. The rest are upstairs. Lots of common spaces. Host attentive and responsive.

An amazing property for a weekend with the WHOLE family! José responded to our questions by making our stay very comfortable. Even when the house is in downtown Guadalajara, no city noise was heard, it looked like we were on the outskirts. However, the area has a lot to explore, and there are countless places to eat nearby. The place was perfect for a big family vacation. Jose was super responsive and even went above and beyond with our check-in and when my aunt locked herself out of her room. You can’t beat the location, I wanted to feel like I was part of the locals and this was it. Lots of small cafes and trendy places to eat nearby (walking distance) and the whole time we felt super safe. I do wish there were more sitting areas downstairs (like a living room of sorts) as we traveled with some older ladies who weren’t thrilled to go upstairs to hang out as a family. With that said, the rooftop terrace was amazing for everyone else. Overall, if I ever need lots of space I will definitely be back.

Our volleyball team stayed here while we played in the Guadalajara Gay Games- and had a fantastic time! Rooms were comfy, communal living space was perfect for relaxing after our matches, and the kitchen was great to make team dinners. Highly recommend!
