Our experience was extraordinary! The property is simply beautiful, located facing the sea with spectacular views that can be enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. The amenities are top notch, including a swimming pool, bicycles, paddleboards and much more. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to feel at home. We definitely recommend it 100% for those looking for an unforgettable stay. ¡We would come back without thinking twice!

Overall, we had a great stay and really appreciate all the thought Allan put into ensuring the house had everything we could possibly need, and that we had an enjoyable experience. We were a group of 5 spending our mornings at sea and afternoons chilling at the Airbnb. The back patio was perfect for this. The property is truly beautiful and matches the photos and description on the listing. The home was fully stocked (cooking materials, beach towels, Sonos to connect to, Netflix was logged in, we even had paddle boards, etc). Allan also put together a really comprehensive guide to the area, which we appreciated. Our stay was super comfortable and there was nothing missing - it was clear Allan had thought of almost everything! Would definitely stay here again.

Allan is an great host, and the place is amazing. Whether you kite / wing or not, you can't beat the privacy and incredible architecture / layout. We've stayed at a lot of places in La Ventana, and this was the best by far.

Top-notch beach house with beautiful design and a true sense of privacy. The place feels like a little piece of paradise. Allan was super friendly and proactive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I would totally stay at his place again.

A great location in South Beach - right by the mountain bike access. The house was great, and the host friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this very beautiful home! Beautiful views, right on the beach, wonderfully relaxing spacious home and patio, lots of room for entertaining, very well-equipped kitchen. You would need to stay a lot longer than we did to avail yourself of all of the amenities. Gorgeous cardon forest right across the street with bike/ running paths. Plenty of parking. Allan was EXTREMELY responsive, answering all messages promptly. The only suggestion I have is to revise the instructions in the app; they specify to call a person who was not the correct person when we visited, and the directions to the house are confusing and there is more than one set, which conflict with one another. While we were trying to find the house (in the dark, our bad, do not advise) Allan was answering our messages right away and finally came to get us, then all was OK. I would not change a single other thing, though!

Casa Soul is perfect in every way! A beautifully designed home steps to the beach. White sandy beaches for miles and a short 15 minute walk to Baja Joes. We kited right out back which made it easy to get multiple sessions in. Allan is an incredible host. We arrived late and he was there waiting to show us around the house and give us a lay of the land. One of the guys in our group accidentally broke a glass and cut his palm quite badly - requiring 7 stitches. We messaged Allan and he immediately arranged for a physician to meet us at the local clinic in La Ventana to clean it out, stitch it up and prescribe antibiotics - all for less than $100 (thank you Mexico!). He was back on the water two days later. Allan’s hospitality continued when he offered to bring firewood for a bonfire. He went and cut the wood, loaded it in his van and drove it right onto the beach for us. A special touch that delivered an incredible memory for our group. Thank you Allan and Casa Soul!

Casa Soul is a must stay. The beauty of the location is incredible. Million dollar views. The photos do not do it justice. You will be blown away. Our hosts were the most communicative and helpful hosts I’ve ever had for an Airbnb. They helped with so much and provided so much information. If you’re thinking of booking a place in La Ventana, book here. You will not be disappointed. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and have never stayed at one twice, but I will be back to Casa Soul, without a doubt, you will want to return too. This place is off the charts amazing.

Allen’s place was absolutely perfect for us during May/off season in La Ventana! We were looking for quiet, solitude, and communing with nature, and loved everything about this house and the setting. Loved the slow changes over the course of a month; the weather, the wind, the wildlife. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking. We loved just settling into the slow rhythm of each day, shopping locally, paddle boarding, and biking and snorkeling daily. When it was windy, we loved watching the kite surfers. Also, kind of enjoyed hearing music from the few parties in the neighborhood and a very interesting construction project next-door with friendly owners. Alan was the perfect host always available to answer questions when we had them. Cannot recommend this enough.

Amazing stay! Location was great and being on the beach with a dipping pool was perfect for the kids. We’ll for sure be back!!

The photos, while beautiful, don’t represent just how spectacular the setting is. The home is situated right on the beach, with wing kiters and kite surfers launching and playing just offshore . Mountain biking is right from the house, beginning on a well marked botanical trail and evolving into a wondrous excursion through the cardone cacti in a unique desert environment. If you’re into an active vacation away from the packaged resorts, this is your place. You will need a car, a zest for adventure, and the will to explore. A day trip to Espiritu Santo Island, fishing, and daily wing or foil lessons is a must. Dinner at Marlin Azul can’t be beat.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Allan was very helpful and responsive, he even provided us with a welcome gift that was thoughtful and delicious! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Allan's La Ventana home is one of the very best vacation rentals in the area. The location can't be beat - there are very few houses directly on the beach in the windsport areas without coral in the water, and this is one of them. Not only that, but it's in an amazing secluded area, surrounded by a cactus forest full of mountain biking trails! Beyond the location being incredible, the house itself is absolutely gorgeous. One of those rare places where the photos don't really do it justice. It feels luxurious, with tasteful local decor and art. The beds were very comfortable - and we are picky bed people! The views cannot be beat - sunrise and sunset were a treat every single day. And finally, Allan is a pleasure to work with. Super nice guy who is really responsive and genuinely kind/helpful. The only problem was that we didn't want to leave at the end of the trip!

This house has a really good location because it is the farthest from town but close to everything. We loved the location away from most of the other home rentals and the Ventusbay hotel, while really close next door is an eco hotel with only 5 rooms so they weren't terribly loud and it was never an issue. We stayed a week starting on Easter weekend and it was a very busy weekend with lots of people camping on the beach, but it didn't really bother us. The house is really gorgeous and very clean, with lots of outdoor space and plenty of towels. The cactus forest is right in front of the house and we enjoyed a couple of night hikes with the full moon; our kids enjoyed spotting scorpions with the UV flashlight that was included with the house. The house is set just far back enough to be convenient to get to the beach but afford privacy from people camped on the beach. The beach and water are amazing and we really enjoyed paddle boarding in the am before the winds picked up and there were groups of mobulus rays jumping out of the water, which was amazing to see. The only negative is that the bees swarmed the pool during the day. I'm not sure if there is a bee season, but there were a lot of them and we didn't have much success getting rid of them. The pool isn't that big and wasn't really a swimming pool so we just pretty much stayed out of it. There is an amazing snorkeling beach that is a 7 minute drive away called Bufadora and we saw lots of eels and fish there. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful house on a pretty private beach. It’s great for kiteboarders- my hubby was able to use their self launch. A little too advanced of a spot for me, but we were easily able to go up the beach or drive to La Tuna where I was able to kite. The beauty of this house is unparalleled. Allan is a super nice guy- one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered. He had the bikes fixed right away, we got to use the stand up paddle boards, and it was a modern lovely house. Only issue is we were there during bee season so we weren’t able to use the pool. However I would go back in a heartbeat because the accommodations were so comfortable. I give it my highest recommendation- especially because Allan is such a cool guy with such an interesting back story. A kiters dream stay!! We will be back. Thank you Allan for the hospitality!!!

My wife and I and our two friends stayed here during our visit from Colorado. Allan was amazingly responsive, met us at check in and even dropped off additional drinking water during our stay (leaving in front of the house to give us privacy). The listing pics of the house are pretty nice, but it’s even much nicer in person. Few minutes drive into “town”. Altogether an awesome place, couldn’t recommend it more.

we had a fantastic stay at Allan's house. the views you wake up to are phenomenal. the house is perfectly situated just far enough from crowds but easily accessible to La Ventana. Allan was a generous host and very communicative. the house was the best stocked of any AirBnb we have stayed at, including great pans to use for cooking. nothing beats launching your kite right outside your house on a beautiful beach.

Great location

The house is amazing. Better than even the pictures. Location is perfect. Right on the beach, furthest house south of town. Only a short drive from La Ventana, but feels like it totally secluded. The ventusbay club next door was great! Amazing food and drinks. They were very friendly, let us take our breakfast back to the house and bring back the dishes later. Same with cocktails. Huge bonus Alan and his his Bea we great. Very easy to communicate with and responded withing minutes. We've stayed at a lot of high end rentals and this by far was the best. We'll be back for sure

Allan’s place is a dream house. Great architecture, amazing location right on a beautiful sandy beach after an awesome short ride through the cactus Forrest. Bedding was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, bathroom were spacious and felt spa like. And we had a whole Margarita kit and guacamole provisions waiting for us. Also 2 SUPs and 2 mountain bikes for complimentary use. Finally Allan was an outstanding host, quick to respond, very attentive, and genuinely interested in providing a great experience. I have been on Airbnb for over 10 years and this one of the best we’ve had. Thank you Allan fir opening your house and hosting us! We will be back!
