Beautiful house and close to the beach! We very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

What an incredible property! Sarah & Evin’s place is the kind of home that makes you dream of owning one there! It was beautiful, spotless, perfectly located close enough to town but just far enough to be private and feel remote. We felt very safe the entire trip! We slept with the upstairs doors open, the cool April breeze and ocean waves blowing through the screens were amazing. (Only downside to this was a few dogs barking at night-though not a negative of the house itself) The private pool was perfectly maintained and the water temperature couldn’t have been better. There were 4 different outdoor spaces to choose from, each with its own enjoyable vibe. I wish we’d spent more time on the 3rd floor deck, as the views were unmatched!! The house was very well stocked with beach equipment, kitchen essentials (wine opener👌), and shampoo/conditioner in each bathroom. As a bonus, the 2 neighbors we met and spoke with were each kind and helpful! We would absolutely stay here again!

Sarah and Evin's home made our first trip to Baja Sur easy and comfortable. Enjoyed the views and the beach access. Appreciated being able to take the home's 2 boogie boards with us to Cerritos Beach!

Truly an amazing location and home. Pictures don't do it justice. Hosts were incredibly responsive before and during our trip. The host book had tons of practical advice and recommendations but they also sent us info via email and text before and during which was incredibly helpful with 2 young kids outside of the US... Amazing views, access to the ocean and the adults were perhaps most impressed by the food, including multiple farm-to-table restaurants in the area where all of the produce was grown onsite. Could not recommend more highly!

We’re very pleased with our time here. It provided privacy and proximity to the ocean- it was right across the street! We would sleep to the pounding surf and then take our coffee up to the 3rd floor for morning whale watching. Had no problem with power or water, but wouldn’t mind additional daily bottled water availability. Be sure to bring your binoculars if staying during whale watching season!

The home provides a wonderful private retreat in a quiet neighborhood. The views and the sounds of waves crashing could not be beat!

Sarah and Evin's place is wonderful, and is exactly as depicted in the ad if not better. The location was perfect for us, a short drive to Cerritos beach but an even better walk, and easy to get to the highway for longer trips to Todos Santos or La Paz. The house is gorgeous with so many places to relax, and the kitchen is functional. The gas stove is great and the few non-stick pans and the large pot were sufficient for our needs. Two bedrooms reported very comfortable beds, one bedroom reported a harder bed that was less comfortable. Plenty of beach chairs and the pool is wonderful (it is not heated very warm, so for folks that don't love cold water, it was quite chilly- personally I love cold water, but some in our group just dipped their toes in). No issues with water, solar, or anything like that. Overall the house is amazing and if we come back this way, will definitely stay here again! And Erika, the local host, is wonderful and super helpful.

Beautiful home on a secluded part of Cerritos beach. Only 40 minute stroll down the beach to Pescadero. Sarah and Evin were very responsive and answered all our questions leading up to the trip. Will be looking to go back in the future.

We had an amazing time! The house is great and spacious, rooms have all their own bathroom, excellent distribution and lots of spaces to enjoy including an amazing rooftop. This house is amazing for friends and family but still with privacy due to the spaces in the house. Its location is very quiet.

This was our second trip to this home. It’s nice to be 1 mile away from Cerritos busy beach. Alex was wonderful and it was great meeting him. There’s limited water but we knew this going in. We had a chef for one night which was great. Thank you! See you next time.

We loved our stay in El Pescadero! The house was just as pictured (if not better!), very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We especially loved relaxing in the huge outdoor living space and drinking coffee on the top deck while looking for whales. We visited Todos Santos a couple days and enjoyed it, but really enjoyed our time in El Pescadero even more because of the amazing restaurants and small town feel. El Cerritos was so close and we all really loved our days there. I would highly recommend this property and would recommend staying in El Pescadero!

Rachel & Alex’s property exceeded our expectations…it’s a very special Baja retreat! The whole property is very well-maintained. A few of the folk in our group love to cook & found the kitchen very well-equipped. The cleverly laid-out space makes it a great house for a group of people. The layout is very conducive to small groups, with ease to find solace or come together for activities. Our small group loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Sunsets & whale-watching were incredible, especially from the 3rd floor palapa. We were mesmerized by the diversity of birds in the area. The beach is a 3-minute walk & Cerritos beach just a 20-30 minute walk or short car drive away. Barracuda’s is a must for their shrimp tacos!! P.S. The property managers were extremely prompt in responding to any concerns or questions we had, which we found very helpful

I stayed with my two twenty+ year old kids and we all had a fabulous time at their beautiful house. It was perfect for us and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach as well as the opportunity to relax around the pool. Great recommendations and both Cerritos and Todos Santos exceeded our expectations! We would definitely return and stay with Rachel and Alex!

We loved Casa McNeill. The location is epic and serene. It is essentially on the beach (you look across the dunes to the beach and sea). It's a beautiful house which is immaculately clean with a feeling of space and tranquility with the stylish features like polished concrete floors and open plan kitchen. We appreciated the provided boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella which used daily We enjoyed the remoteness of the location yet it was only a 20min walk along the beach to the Cerritos swim/surf area and a 5min drive to Pescadero for coffee and supplies The area has amazing farm to table organic restaurants and many are recommended in the house guide. We are not in the habit of ever revisiting anywhere we have stated as we like discovery and adventure. However, we love this area and this house so much I think we may break our rule.

Wonderful house, beautiful location, super responsive hosts...loved everything about this house.

I will never be able to describe how great this place is. I went to the Baja to hopefully see some whales, surf eat great food and reconnect with family. Well, all of those things happened. You see a whale (or multiples) every minute, it’s amazing. The house is a short walk from Cerritos beach and the surfing was great. The house is very clean and very comfortable. I was a little nervous about family getting cold at night. This was not the case. The house was a nice temp at night and never got hot during the day. Sarah and Evan checke in throughout our arrival day to make sure we were ok. Everything was smooth and perfect. READ the house manual before you go. I found the manual the week before we went. Use the recommendations. It would have helped us in a couple situations, like the rental car. No real issue with ours but I think Cactus rental would have been better. If you are going to the Cerritos/Todos Dantos area this is your rental. This house was hands down the best Airbnb yet.

Lovely stay for the week. Owners and property manager always available (even though we didn’t need them too much). Communication was great and everything was exactly as described (maybe better!) fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, sofa and outdoor areas. Great for couples with lots of areas for privacy. Neighbors are friendly and area is safe. Whale watching and sunsets are breathtaking. We will be back soon!

Beautiful home close to the beach. We loved the remote location. The home was well-appointed and comfortable for our family of four. We loved watching whales from the upper decks. We spent our days closer to town (Cerritos), renting surfboards and hanging out at the beach. A couple rough spots but really not a big deal. Finding the house was a challenge. The tiny dirt roads are unmarked and it’s a quick turn off a busy fast road. Check in was delayed a bit as the cleaners were still there at the standard check in time. We also had a visit to the house at 7:15 pm from the police requesting money so that was a bit unnerving but they were very friendly and we gave them the “suggested donation.” Evidently it was “Police Day.” Overall we had a wonderful visit and would definitely stay at Rachel and Alex’s again. Thanks!

A wonderful holiday with dear friends. At first I was worried that the location might be too far away from todos but it was actually perfect and exactly where we wanted to be. Beautiful home. Beautiful area and friendly neighbors. We will be back! Book this house!

Enjoyed the space, the privacy and quiet. Spent more time hanging around the house than expected because it was so relaxing. Liked the private end of the beach, just around the corner from the house but also enjoyed the beach walk up to Cerritos. Great stay!

This house is as beautiful as it looks in the listing. The pool is gorgeous and was a perfect temperature. We loved being able to sit by the pool or on the upper decks looking at the ocean and listening to the waves at night. The hosts were responsive to questions (e.g., where to buy groceries) before and during our stay. We met a couple of the neighbors, who were very friendly. I was a little concerned about renting a house off the grid in terms of power and water. The solar and battery were put to the test since there was a tropical storm with lots of rain and clouds for a day or two during our stay. We had no loss of power and no problems with the water supply. We had nice beach walks down just a short path from the house, and we were able to walk to kid-friendly Cerritos Beach (though doing the short drive to the beach is a better option when you are taking little kids, food, and the provided beach chairs and umbrellas). There are lots of great restaurants close to the house and even more if you drive to Todos Santos. If you are at all interested in birding, I would recommend taking a pair of binoculars since we saw lots of great birds just sitting by the pool.

This home is absolutely perfect! Our family had the most incredible time in Baja and staying at Casa McNeill made for a very special vacation. The home had everything our family needed and more. The location is magical, and each day we got to watch a stunning sunset, either by the pool or just steps down at the beach. You can even walk to the main beach in Cerritos, a nice stroll along a practically private beach. Our hosts helped arrange for massages and were immediate in responding to any of our needs or questions. We didn’t want to leave and hope to get back soon!

Awesome house! Views are incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice. We enjoyed the location and great restaurants in El Pescadero and the very swimmable beach that is steps away. The 3 bedrooms all have their own en suite bathroom. The kitchen is large and the outdoor furniture offers sun and shade options. We loved watching whales from the balcony and the native birds bath in the pool each morning.

This place is awesome! Don’t think, just book. I’ve been a lot of places in Mexico and this is the best. The location is INCREDIBLE! It’s basically on the beach and a very short walk down to playa Cerritos where they have surf lessons food and live music. It’s not as remote as described in the listing. The house is really nice and we loved the pool (lights up at night). However we did see a mouse in kitchen and ants but we were forewarned and not a big deal. We didn’t rent a car and it was easy with transportation booked through the hosts. You could probably book it on your own too. There was a mix up w/ transportation and the hosts remedied the situation immediately. It’s also a really short drive to todos santos which has cool art restaurants and handmade items. I can’t explain how amazing this Airbnb is. Well worth the money. We did see lots of whales especially in the morning from the rooftop. The beach in front of the house is definitely swimable and we did some boogie boarding BUT there were rip currents on that beach right in front of the house so just be careful especially past the sand bar. The neighbors were really nice and had great recommendations. Don’t think just book best place ever!!

We (6 adults and 1 infant) had a fabulous stay at Alex and Rachel’s place in Pescadero. The photos and description are entirely accurate. The location is great - very private and a short drive to Cerritos, Pescadero and Todos Santos. There was ample space for 3 couples.

Casa Mc Neill was amazing! The house layout is so fun for a vacation at the beach. We loved the pool the rooms and the rooftop terrasse! Highly recommend this place and this area of Baja!

What a wonderful place to stay. Hosts were extremely accommodating and communicative. They were quick to respond and act when requested. The home is beautiful, simple, elegant, clean and easy going. Nothing quite like waking up to the sound of the waves crashing and the sunlight just beginning to hit the cacti. Both levels of balconies offer all the views, relaxation and serenity you could hope for. We were pleasantly surprised at this location along mid-south Cerritos beach. It was quiet and seemingly developing quickly (compared to previous trips) but with very nice neighbors and enough room in between that it still felt very private and secluded. It is also nice to have the darkness to see the stars. We walked to Art & Beer a couple times and all the way to north Cerritos beach. Casa McNeill is great place that we are excited to return book again in the future.

CASA McNEILL is as good as it looks, and Rachel and Alex are superb hosts. The beach (which is more than three miles long) is 100 yards away, and the sounds of the ocean, the breeze, the sunset, the whales and the night sky is why you are here. PS: Make sure you rent an SUV...all the dirt roads around Todos Santos are terrible!

This is a great house in a great location. You can enjoy lovely sunsets from the upper level, quiet walks along the uncrowded beach, and whale watching from just about anywhere. The house is clean and well maintained. Come and enjoy!

Our group of 6 friends had an incredible stay here. Rachel and Alex were wonderful hosts and helped coordinate in-home massages at our house (highly recommend this, and on the top rooftop deck for peaceful sounds of the waves). We also had a private chef make breakfast at the house which was such a treat! It is an easy drive into town and to nearby restaurants. We truly hope to come back soon for another stay at this wonderful house!

The house is spectacular, a one-minute walk from the beach and with both a beautiful view on the entire Cerritos beach bay and a great swimming pool. The neighborhood is very quiet and ~10 minutes away (by car) from the small town of Pescadero and ~20 minutes from Todos Santos and its many restaurants. Inside, the house is well equipped with a comfortable king bed in the master bedroom upstairs and everything needed to cook. We truly enjoyed our week there and came back fully rested!

The home is beautiful and super clean. The house has everything in it that you'll need for an awesome stay. The beach right out front is so close, very easy short walk & the house has nice beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool is immaculate and refreshing. The view from the master and upper deck is unreal; sunsets were the best. You can hear the ocean from all over the house. We also enjoyed the walk to Cerritos beach, only 15 to 20 minutes. It was awesome all around!!

The house has everything you need from koozies to beach chairs. The little neighborhood it’s in is quite and really amazing. Art and beer is a most their margaritas are huge! Amazing carnitas in pescadero. The chicken mole at crazy chicken in todos santos is also amazing.

AMAZING! The house is beautiful, excellent location easy to get to, just in front of the ocean (not for swimming), very close to the village for basic grocery and restaurants, quiet neighborhood. It is very clean, comfortable, well kept, has everything one needs. And they were very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa McNeill. The location is breathtaking with beautiful views from the pool and multiple decks. We watched whales every day and swam in the ocean which was very warm in November. The pool is a little chilly as it's not heated but we enjoyed it on warmer days. We are already talking about our next visit.

The pool alone is enough reason to book this place. The house is perfectly stocked with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The view from each of the bedrooms offers a beautiful vantage of either the ocean or the dramatic mountains behind the house. Communication with the host was great and super friendly. Definitely would stay again.

Amazing stay here, the beach was empty, the town was cool. It was great to be off the beaten path, but still plenty of resources in the area. Cerritos beach is a short drive from Todos Santos. We will be back, and we might be buying property.

A new, very comfortable house in a spectacular location, right across from a beautiful beach. The house has a beautiful roof deck with spectacular views for sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed long beach walks, surfing, the many amazing restaurants in Todos Santos and Pescadero, and just hanging around the pool. Rachel and Alex were excellent hosts - they immediately replaced a cracked coffee pot and provided great information about the area and excellent restaurant recommendations. The kitchen is well stocked and we had breakfasts and grilled fish by the pool one night.

Casa McNeill was a dream. Hard to leave as the house offered everything you’d ask for from Baja Sur. From the pool to the rooftop BBQ - a great home to relax in for a few days with friends. 5 min walk to the ocean, short drive to Cerritos. We highly recommend!

Great place, friendly and close to a great private beach. Guests should rent a car to make sure they can get around easily, as location is tough to find the first time and taxis in the area don’t really exist so a car of your own is must to take full advantage of this great spot.

The location is perfect! Amazing views from the rooftop and even ground level! Just sit in the pool and stare out at the sunsets and beach views, or walk not even 2 minutes to the beach and get your relaxation on. Pescadero and Todos Santos are SUPER short drives away!

My family and I stayed at Casa McNiel for five nights in mid Aug and loved it! The location is in a safe neighborhood just south of Cerritos, where there is a swimming beach! There is a large space of undeveloped land in front of the house, which allows for a full view of the ocean. At night with the windows open and the screens pulled shut, we were able to hear the waves crashing all night! Lovely! The interior is stylish and comfortable! Plenty of clean water provided by the host, which were used for coffee and drinking. The home has a utility room full of beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, and even some blown up pool inflatable‘s for fun! The top deck of the house is the perfect place to chill if one is looking for privacy! It has a large table with six chairs, hanging hammock, and the best view in the neighborhood! The pool is amazing and with the warmest temperatures being in August, we were in it constantly. We walked down the short dirt road to the blanket factory, where graciously they showed us how their Mexican blankets are handmade! Bought two! Art and beer was closed for the summer, but we had lunch at Shakas, sunset dinner at the Hacienda de Cerritos, amazing pizza and pool dipping at Free Souls, rented ATVs with Omega in Todos Santos and took a self-guided tour, which we all believed was the most adventure we’d ever had! I highly recommend staying in this home. It is beautiful and quiet! A piece of paradise!

Casa McNeil is beautiful! The design and the location are equally stunning. We loved the pool and patio area, and every room was comfortable and well appointed. You can tell that this home was made with love, and the owners are sharing their dream home with you. I hope to return soon.

Fantastic Location right across from the beach with unobstructed ocean views. Beautiful design and well built with nice modern touches. Many different areas that function well for whatever your needs are. The roof top dining and lounging space is perfect for naps in the hammock, whale watching and fabulous sunset dinner views of beach and mountains. The pool area has ample room for everyone and there are many dining options for both inside and outside. Master suite upstairs is perfectly situated for viewing morning light or sunset with two accessible patios. Great service for check in and communication is excellent. Thank you for the hospitality.

Beautiful place to stay, easy access to Cerritos beach and into Todos Santos.

This newly build home is spacious and wonderfully designed to host a family or group of friends. The master bedroom has full privacy and drop dead views of the ocean and migrating whales, close enough to see with the naked eye. The top deck above that has an even more expansive view and full dining table and hammock for ocean viewing. On the main floor below, there are two bedrooms both with their own private bath, and a pull out couch with a half bath. Our three kids were spoiled each with their own bed and bathroom! The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed, with both indoor barstool and table dining areas, and opening up to a spacious outdoor dining area. The pool while cool was a pleasant option and loved by the kids. There are neighbors on either side and while we occasionally heard their dogs barking we felt completely private and actually enjoyed knowing others lived nearby. The views from the front deck were open and private due to the empty lot in front of the house, hosted birds and lush foliage to make us feel one with nature. The house was extremely clean, the local caregiver Amy was readily available via text for questions or help, and Sarah was extremely responsive as well from the US. This was an amazing home to wake up in and come home to every day after our adventures. We would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend staying at Sarah and Evin's gorgeous home without any reservations - it was a real treat for us.

Stunning new solar-efficient ultra modern residence where we could see and hear the Pacific waves crashing to shore, watch wales and see up and down the coast. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay, everything was really perfect and we're hoping to come back next year! Nancy

This is just a phenomenal house. Thoughtful, modern design -- it was a pleasure to stay here. Brand new appliances. Epic views of ocean and mountains from pretty much every room. A 2 minute walk to long sand beaches. Great vibes in the neighborhood too with friendly neighbors and no concerns about security. The host, Sarah was also a pleasure to interact with. Responded to all our calls and texts immediately and gave us great recommendations on local places to surf and eat. Highly recommended!
