Maria is a stellar host! Extremely responsive and so very helpful! She has provided so much extra information for us, she is unfailingly pleasant and so very helpful! Her place is fabulous in every way! Everything you need is provided and everything is super clean. We love having a private pool to swim in! We absolutely recommend Maria’s place for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Tulum. I have already recommended and sent a link to family members and friends and told them about how great Maria‘s place is. She never tires of my many questions and inquiries, and she is quick to meet every need. We loved staying here and we have. Absolutely nothing but praise for her wonderful place!

We had a great stay at this villa! There were 7 of us, and we had more than enough space and rooms for everyone. The amenities are truly excellent – everything you need is there, and even more. Particularly noteworthy are the pool and the two terraces, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was very clean, and we felt completely at home from the very first moment. The host was also very helpful and gave us great tips for the area. We highly recommend the place and would come back any time!

Very peaceful area, the house was spacious and comfortable. The city center is relatively close, but the best experience was riding bikes to the beach area, because the roads were wide and comfortable.

Amazing stay at this villa! Maria was a wonderful host—she checked in with me regularly and sent all the information I needed to make my birthday truly special. She even referred us to a private chef who was incredible, as well as a great car service. The house itself was amazing—exactly as described and even better in person. It comfortably accommodated all 9 of us with plenty of space. Everything exceeded our expectations. We had the best time and truly loved the home. It was in a safe, quiet area and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Maria also provided clear directions for accessing the house, making check-in effortless. Great Airbnb that fit 4 couples comfortably. We could easily fit another couple without issue. The place itself was cozy. A bit smaller than expected inside and out, but manageable. The pool didn’t get much sun due to the walls so we didn’t use it. The location requires a taxi (which are all overpriced) to get to the beach. Very responsive host with recommendations for things you need. Overall very good value for what you get.

This is a beautiful house in a pretty road. It is spacious and beautifully furnished. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in a convenient and central location. Maria was an excellent host - friendly, helpful and an great communicator. She dealt with a couple of minor issues very efficiently and quickly.

We loved the house. It is very spacious, tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. We also loved that there were board games to spend time with the family. The pool is great and we enjoyed it a lot. Definitely an excellent option to rest and have fun. We'd love to come back!

Maria's place was an amazing stay! I wish we could have stayed longer! The house is very spacious, each room has its own en suite bathroom. The pool was great, we loved relaxing in it and staying cool. Maria was an excellent host, she went above and beyond during our stay. She even helped direct a driver who was delivering our bags after a mix up with the airline late at night. She was so accommodating to anything we needed, I would 100% recommend staying with her for your trip to Tulum!! There are cafes and shops near by for anything you might need and it's only about a 20ish minute walk from the more central area with more restaurants and bars.

Maria's house was perfect. It is very large, and could easily accommodate 2 families or a group of 8-10 people. The outdoor space was excellent with the swimming pool, hammock, the trees and plants, and roof top patio. Each of the bedrooms was very spacious and nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed. And as a host, Maria could not have been better. She was extremely responsive and accommodating, and provided so many tips and suggestions for things to do in Tulum. Maria was a phenomenal host!! I cannot thank her enough! We were there to celebrate our friends 30th birthday and Maria made sure we had all the information about the area so we could plan a memorable experience for the birthday boy. She responded to every request promptly and made sure we were well catered for. Even when one of our friends fell ill, she helped us get emergency hospital details at short notice 🥺💕The villa is beautiful 🤩 we had everything we needed. If you are visiting I recommend you rent bicycles to get down to the beach. Thank you once again ♥️

This was a phenomenal Airbnb stay! We had ten people and stayed for a week. The five bedroom five bathroom home was perfect. Super well equipped too. Lots of kitchen appliances for cooking, towels for the bathrooms and for beach/pool use. There was even a basket of fruit on the counter and beers in the fridge for us. Maria was a great host. She shared a lot of local recommendations for us about restaurants, transportation, cenotes, etc. in advance and was quick to respond with questions. She even offered a free mid-stay cleaning for us if we wanted one.

A group of 6 adults traveled to Tulum. The Airbnb was very nice, enjoyed the pool and patio. There is some construction next door but we get up early so it didn’t bother us.

Maria is a super host for a reason. She responds quickly and is detail oriented. We stayed at her place for a bachelorette trip and she was thoughtful enough to get me a machine to pump my balloons. The shower pressure and temperature is adequate. The rooms are large and clean. The internet was down for a while but otherwise it was a perfect stay. I highly recommend this place and Surprisingly it also looks better than the photos.

This delightful Airbnb exceeded our expectations; the attention to detail in terms of furniture and fittings were top notch; having stayed in several properties throughout Mexico, this was one of the best. Lovely touches on arrival like fresh fruit, water and a few beers were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. There were also plenty of towels, loo rolls, and toiletries in each of the bathrooms. Maria and Arturo were excellent super hosts who responded quickly when we needed assistance. Our family of 7 made good use of the space and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Tucanes. Maria is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met and her home was absolutely beautiful! My 9 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and never felt on top of each other or that we didn’t have enough space. The backyard was my favorite with the pool and upstairs patio. Felt like we were in the jungle. Neighborhood is good too and we never had any issues finding taxis nearby. Maria always answered my questions and gave great recommendations! She was in constant communication with me since I booked the house. She is the sweetest! This trip wouldn’t have been the same if not for her lovely home! You will not regret staying here!!!!

The noise was manageable, and my infant grandson was able to nap successfully. We arrived to a beautiful bowl of fruit, and two beers in the fridge. This is the second time we’ve stayed in Casa Tucanes. Everything about Maria’s place is perfect. Maria and Arturo are incredible hosts, always available and with helpful information and suggestions for activities. This time there were six of us spanning two generations. The spaces at the house are private and comfortable. We’ve stayed in many AirBnBs around the US and Europe and this place is tops.

Our stay in Tulum was a dream! The warm host not only offered us a beautiful and stylishly furnished accommodation, but was also extremely helpful with all our questions. The free cleaning after a week was a pleasant surprise that made our vacation even more relaxing. The location was perfect, minutes from the beaches and great restaurants. We highly recommend this place and are very grateful for the hospitality. Unforgettable stay - we are already looking forward to seeing you again!

We traveled at 7 and the house was perfect, as described Space indoors and 2 nice outdoor areas (pool and roof top) Maria was a great host Very responsive when we had questions or advice or needs Maria has also installed an extra bedroom for us to allow everyone to have their own bed! The location is very good (secure and well located between the center and the beach area) Shops nearby Only small downside: there are works in the neighborhood and we have had noise the last 2 days:-(

Host was very communicative from the start of my reservation. Maria, offered restaurant info and places of interest to visit. She was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us look for the place since our GPS did not pin point the exact location. Once we arrived Maria showed us around the house and even offered us additional space that was not part of the description. Maria was very hospitable, gracious and informative. Maria’s house is highly recommended! We (a family of five) spent 8 nights here and had a fantastic time. The house is spacious, has lovely outdoor areas and is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe. Maria is an excellent host and the communication with her was smooth.

Maria and Arturos place was a very nice place to stay at with two families. The kids loved having the pool right outside. The only down fall was there a lot of mosquitos this time of year so if you weren't in the pool, you were getting eaten up. Other than that, everything else was very nice. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for everything.

Maria’s house was great and met all of the needs of our family. Our group of 7 (5 adults and 2 tweens) was very comfortable during our week’s stay. We were able to cook meals at home since the kitchen was fully stocked. The water temperature and pressure was great in all the bathrooms as we were able to take showers in them simultaneously with no issues. The neighborhood still has lots that are new and developing so there was construction going on in the house across the street but it wasn’t an issue for us. Can’t wait to come back!

Maria's place is even bigger and nicer in person, immaculately clean with many extra touches like a clean unopened dish sponge, kitchen and bathroom soap, paper towels, toilet paper, 5 gallon bottle of drinking water, huge bowl of fresh fruit, and a 6 pack of beer in the fridge. Great water pressure and nice warm showers. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, lots of extra towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Easily the nicest airbnb we have stayed in and we mostly choose super-hosts. Maria was the best!

The ville had everything we needed. The best part was the rooftop for the sun. The location was also excellent.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Maria’s villa! It is beautiful and was such a peaceful place to come back to after our adventures to the ruins and cenotes. Maria was very helpful in providing instructions for checking in and suggestions for getting around Tulum. We did use her taxi suggestions and it was nice to be able to call a van as there were 7 of us. The accommodations were clean and looked just like the pictures! There were not many places to walk to, but it was great for us to be in a quiet area each night. Thanks for a lovely stay, Maria!

The place was amazing! It was picture perfect and so clean. She had left fresh fruit and drinks in the fridge to welcome us. The place had all the amenities and extras one could need that we didn’t even get to take advantage of like the foosball table or the upstairs patio bar. Maria was always available with any questions I had. She even let us know that storms were coming, and to be sure to give ourselves plenty of time to get back to the airport with all the construction. I would highly recommend her place!

I really enjoyed my stay at Maria's place! The airbnb is beautiful and came with a huge liter of water which is much needed in Tulum since you cannot drink the tap water. There is some construction in the area because this is an up and coming neighborhood but the noise was barely noticeable. We all loved the air bnb. Highly recommend~

Staying at Maria’s place was such a fun and relaxing time for our group. Our entire Airbnb experience was amazing from leaving us complimentary goods like water and fruits to having a variety of amenities in the house. The air conditioning (AC) had to be a crowd favorite since the weather in Tulum can get really humid and dry especially during your first few days here since your body is still trying to adapt to the changes in weather! Other cool amenities like free wifi, washer/dryer and an outdoor shower to help rinse off after a swim in the pool. Not only that, but this place has everything you need and so much space to accommodate a large group of people since we were able to fit 8 people at this Airbnb stay. Thanks again for an amazing stay Maria and hubby recommend this place to anyone visiting Tulum temporarily!

Maria’s home is a great place to spend time with friends. She is a great host, very communicative and friendly over text! The home felt larger than when seeing images on Airbnb. The pool is a good/cute size to splash around while sipping on some cocktails. The only negative (if any) is that it is a 15 min walk from the main strip, however, you can always taxi around (fyi: Tulum taxi are pretty expensive). Additionally, we booked tours where they picked us up in front of the house. It was a great home base!

Maria’s place is amazing. She checked in with us periodically and answered questions we had promptly. Very good communication and complimentary drinking water and a few fruits. The house is in a great location, quiet and convenient to all the main attractions. My kids spent most of their time in the pool which is just big enough to have a lot of fun. The backyard was an oasis from the heat, the birds added extra charm. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of four. We used the chef service which was very good. I would highly recommend staying here. We certainly will when we come back to Tulum. Also, just around the corner there is an amazing breakfast place, Rossina Cafe.

This place was absolutely beautiful and a perfect fit for our group of 10 girls. Maria does a great job taking care of you prior to the stay, during the stay, and after the stay. We felt safe every single day; The house is in a very safe neighborhood of Tulum (named Aldea Zama) where it’s surrounded by other airbnbs as well. The taxi driver whom she recommended - Saul was so kind and I definitely recommend him as well. We would give him our plan for the day and he would give us a cost for all the trips combined and give his recommendations as well (like for example we wanted to go to gran cenote but he recommended another cenote that was even better and worth the experience). He would also wait for us to get inside the house before driving off which I really appreciated. Maria recommended a private chef as well and we did that the very last night. The food was so delicious and the chef (Cynthia) was so kind. She works with really nice, trustworthy people and you are always taken care of. Maria answered all of the questions I had regarding the trip and was always so quick at responding. One of the best airbnbs I’ve been at by far! Thank you Maria for all that you’ve done :)

I highly recommend this Airbnb if you are a large group traveling to Tulum! I went with a group of eight friends and the house was spacious enough to accommodate us all without feeling like we were crowding each other. There are AC units in all three bedrooms, as well as the living room, and the kitchen was well-stocked with enough plates, glasses and silverware for all of us to use. The outdoor space was gorgeous and we enjoyed spending time on the upstairs deck, as well as taking a dip in the pool to cool off. Maria was an excellent host and did a great job communicating with us before our arrival and during our week-long stay as well. The Airbnb is located in a beautiful, up-and-coming neighborhood in Tulum. It is about a 20 minute walk to the center of Tulum but as we rented bikes for the week, we were able to get around quickly and without too many issues. Overall, I would say that this Airbnb is even more beautiful than the pictures make it look and I would highly recommend it for any large group staying in Tulum! Maria and Arturo are outstanding hosts. Their beautiful villa is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. They are responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Maria's house is well decorated and super comfortable. The pool is refreshing, and not tiny like some other houses in which I've stayed in Mexico; the backyard area in general is quite well-appointed. The air conditioning and fans worked flawlessly, the wifi cooperated (which is always a concern in Tulum!) and the beds were comfy. The location is great--an easy drive to town and to the beach, and a nice look and feel overall. Maria is extremely communicative and responsive, and was a great sounding board. If there is one tiny flaw--out of Maria's control--it is that there was construction going on next door (they are building a new house). Again, this is just the reality of today's Tulum. But we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our group of 7 loved staying at Villa Tucanes. The outdoor spaces are lovely, with plenty of areas to spread out and relax. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also loved the neighborhood. It is positioned perfectly between the beach/hotel zone and Tulum town. The neighborhood feels quiet and safe, and we found a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. It's worth mentioning that there is a lot of construction in the neighborhood (Tulum is booming!) and next door, but it did not bother us as we spent most of our days at the beach or out exploring. Thank you Maria for a wonderful place to stay!

We loved staying at Maria's place. The location was in a nice, safe neighborhood. We had a group of 7 people and were able to comfortably move around and have space to enjoy quiet time as well. Maria welcomes you with 5 gallon drinking water, fresh fruit and some beer in the fridge along with an ice bag for you to use while you are staying there. There is a washer and dryer and I would recommend you bring laundry detergent if you plan on washing clothes and/or towels. There was a power outage for about 6-7 hours while we were there and had to reschedule our in home chef experience but Maria helped to seamlessly make those changes happen for us. We are very grateful everything worked out! Thank you Maria so much for being so accommodating!

Maria’s place is really nice and exactly as described. I was impressed by how every little detail in the house is well-thought-out. She was super responsive before our arrival and during our stay. The only downside is that there is a construction site close to the house, but given the real estate activity in Tulum, this is common in many places and is not that loud. It is definitely a place worth visiting.

Maria’s house was fantastic. We stayed for 2 weeks and had no issues with the house. It is in a great location in Tulum, close to main street so it is easy to travel to and from, and only a short drive or long walk to the beaches. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive as well. COVID testing sites were all over the place if needed. Overall would highly recommend Maria’s house and would definitely stay there again for our family vacations.

You cannot do better than Maria’s house in Tulum! Spacious, comfortable, private, excellent location. We can’t say enough good things about it. Grab it if you can!

Y’all. This place is awesome. This was my second time staying here, and I’m glad we booked it again. The new rooftop patio is so beautiful and well-appointed, and the location is perfect. If you’re concerned about safety, worry no more; this place is in a beautiful neighborhood, nestled between all the attractions Tulum has to offer. There are security cameras, an electric fence, and Maria is always available to answer any questions that might come up. She is quick to respond, and has a team ready to help with whatever you need. She is very helpful and generous, providing five gallons of water for us, as well as fresh produce and Mexican beer upon arrival. The place is exceptionally clean, with everything you could ever need. One rainy night, we stayed in, made frozen pina coladas, and chilled on the beautiful patio as the jungle rain fell. We saw incredible tropical birds on the property, including a mating ritual, which was pure magic. The grocery store is super close, the Covid testing site nearby was convenient and professional, and every meal we ate was superb. My favorites: Burrito Amor, Hartwood (make a reservation in advance, you won’t regret it), and Ziggy’s Beach Club, where the underground cenotes bubble up through the sea. The snorkeling there was incredible. We’re vegetarian and had no problem finding healthy and delicious cuisine near the property. There were three couples traveling in our group, and this house provided plenty of privacy and space, each room with its own bathroom. I slept very well, the beds were comfy and the sheets were good quality. Maria has thought of everything, so you don’t have to. I can’t wait to come back!

This place was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 people. It was very helpful to have Maria provide the number of a taxi service since Aldea Zama is a bit of a way from the Zona Hotelera and the area is quiet with very few taxis driving around. Maria was a great host! I highly recommend this house for a group of friends or family. All of us had a blast.

Fantastic and reliable communication, close to the center of town without being in the center, quiet nights, felt very safe, beautiful trees and foliage. Perfect for families with kids. Staying at the Villa Tucanes was probably hands down the best experience I've had in my 43 years of life. Maria was the most gracious and amazing host you could ever wish for. The Villa was beautiful, and spacious and the perfect get away for anybody that is thinking about traveling to Tulum Mexico. I would give higher then 5 stars if it was allowed.

Maria has a beautiful home in an amazing town. The place was clean and Maria provided all the information I needed to get around. The house has everything you can possibly need and the backyard is even more stunning then the pictures! The house has great Wifi and though Tulum can have power outages, during my whole week long stay we had one for about 2 hours after a heavy storm. If you are looking to be close to the downtown area but still want a bit a privacy this is the perfect place to be.

We stayed at Villa Tucanes for the entire month of June and it was an absolute dream. The home was actually bigger than it looked in the pictures and had everything we could possibly need as a home away home. The pool was awesome and Arturo came once a week to clean it and do maintenance on the lawn. He was very friendly. We opted to pay extra for the cleaning service twice a week and didn’t regret it. Caty was fabulous and extremely thorough. Every week they switched out all the linens so we came back to new bedding which was fun. The neighborhood was great. Villa Tucanes is really secluded. We loved waking up to the chatter of tropical birds as it has no neighbors on one side and is surrounded by jungle. It’s very beautiful from the roof top patio. Aldea Zama neighborhood felt very safe. We walked to Campanella Cremerie for breakfast several times. Gelato on a waffle?! Yes, please. Also, Cafe Maya-Xel was super cool. It’s decorated like an underwater reef with everything handcrafted out of sea shells. My sister bought a conch shell light fixture that is truly one of a kind. The owner was there when we came in and he gave us a tour while we waited for our food to be prepared. It was a really fun experience just a short walk away. The beach was having sargassum seaweed problems during our stay but there was so many other things to do that it wasn’t an issue. We visited 10 different cenotes that were all unique and absolutely amazingly beautiful, refreshing, and full of colorful fish. Kaan Luum Lagoon was also a fun spot. It feels like a beach but had freshwater. We also traveled up to Cancun and took the ferry to Cozumel for some sargassum free beach time but we all ended up preferring the freshwater cenotes. No sand and saltwater. Snorkeling the reef was pretty amazing though. This was a truly epic vacation for my family. Villa Tucanes gets 5 stars!!

The location was great. We were between the main town and the beach strip. Maria provided chef information, market location, COVID testing references, and was very responsive to all questions I had both leading up to and during the trip. The check in/out process was very easy and the space was extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable stay while visitingTulum.

I just had the most wonderful 40th Birthday week with friends & family. This place was just the right amount of space for 5 adults. It could also accommodate a couple & 4 adults. One room w/double beds upstairs & 2 rooms down stairs 2 double beds & king size each room having own personal bathrooms. Maria & Arturo were great hostess they checked in on us, gave list of restaurants, delivery services,taxi,chef & shop. Upon walking into villa she had gloves, hand sanitizer & wipes available. The home is very secured with a electric fence & personal pad coded door. Pool was a little too cold for our liking but the place was still awesome. Can't wait to return next year.

Maria is an excellent host, very attentive to the reservation but she gave a lot of privacy... we felt at home..... the house is beautiful and exceeds expectations in everything. I 100% recommend it

Our stay at Maria’s house was great! Their response to our needs was immediate. The best of all was to have Betty taking care of our house and cooking breakfast for us! Internet was a bit slow sometimes. We had 3 modems at the house that helped us to stay connected during our working days. One thing I will suggest is to switch the TV service from internet connection to a local cable service. Thank you Maria, Arturo and Betty!!! We will love to go back to Tulum and stay again at your house.

Maria was very helpful and responsive. Make sure to get a bike from Ola Bikes nearby, so you can bike to downtown and the beaches. Located centrally and ideal for seeing all of Tulum. Maria the Host was great and the cleaning services were exceptional. All in all a great place to stay! Check out the Pitted Date breakfast spot nearby in Aldea Zama.

This little gem was perfect for our group. It was a little confusing to get to but eventually we made it. Once inside, it was very stylish with well appointed furniture and all one could need in a kitchen and living space. We loved the little fruit basket left for us and the big jug of water. The beds were comfortable and bath towels super soft. We loved the little touches of providing Lysol wipes, gloves and masks just in case as well as velvet hangers and really nice smelling body soap and febreeze in all the bathrooms- those little things matter. I also loved how removed we were from the main strip but everything was a 7 mins drive away. Convenient to everything with a huge grocery store about 4 mins away. Also the communication was always on point! When we locked the door improperly, they talked us through reopening it which took all of 5 mins and taught me that I needed to share how to open the door properly lol. Lastly, the pool was fantastic. We were a little apprehensive about using the pool as we’ve heard mosquitoes are a nightmare in Tulum but we didnt have one single issue and the house provides OFF spray and candles for the pool area. So glad we took a chance and enjoyed it a couple of days. We loved this house and would definitely return specifically here to this house again.
