Beautiful home in a great location. The home has a gorgeous old-México style and it’s very clean. The decor of the house was impeccable. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Easy check in and out. Easy walk to bars and coffeehouses and restaurants.

We were two couples. Connie's place had plenty of room for all four of us. Kitchen is modern and well stocked. Bedrooms are comfortable. Nice living and dining rooms. Rooftop terrace is fabulous--great view of the city, wonderful place to sit, have a drink, enjoy the sunshine or sunset.

The home and location were quite nice. Connie communicated quickly to any questions. Just a few tidbits..The house is right on the street, so, it can be a little noisy, especially for 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The stairs in the house are stone, just that..we didn't really cook much so cant comment to much as far as equipment , however she had several ways to make coffee etc, a nice micro wave etc. Connie had great extras, like coffee, tea, cookies, etc and plenty of water. Also, as silly as it sounds, I was thankful for her having tissues in every bedroom! We appreciated all that very much. There is a nice washer and dryer, but glad we brought detergent with us. The bedrooms get stuffy, but there are fans. The water takes forever to get hot in the showers , seems a shame to waste water like that, waiting for it to warm up, but it eventually does. Loved the rooftop, house is nicely decorated in good taste. Bring earplugs, enjoy the location and the home itself. Thank you Connie.

Excellent service

Connie was super responsive to all my requests prior to check in and during our stay! Her housekeeper met us at check in and showed us the house, including the rooftop terrace (which we would have never known about.). It was a lovely spot to enjoy morning coffee. We were there for Dia de Muertos so never got back with enough energy to enjoy the rooftop terrace in the evening but I wish we had. The beds were super comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. It’s a slight uphill walk home but not bad. San Miguel is in the hills so you will always have hills, but taxis are easy to get and very inexpensive. There is nothing we needed or wanted that wasn’t there. Connie is a super great host. She even went to a restaurant we had reserved for our first dinner to make sure they would be expecting us! I would rent Barranca 24 again

Wife and I stayed at Connie's home for a month. We wanted something in the center, very near restaurants, cafe's and historical sites and Connie's home was exactly as advertised. It's very close to everything, but without the "steep walk up additional cobblestone streets." We didn't appreciate this distinction as first timers, but do now. Connie's place is very walkable to everything without having to take cabs. The place itself was exactly as shown in photos: very clean (including sheets), high ceilings with fans/ventilation, good sound system that connects to IPhone easily, good rooftop view. Everything was in strong working order; nothing seemed rundown. We regularly used the cooling system in the bedrooms and they worked well. Final comment is regarding Connie's communication. We have stayed in many AirBnB's and Connie's communication is by far the best we've experienced. She was nice, timely, anticipated needs and showed great follow up. We would stay here again.

From the beginning Connie was a very responsive and attentive host, making my first AirBnB experience pleasurable. The home is located within a short distance to all major activities and restaurants. The home is very beautiful and cozy with no issues whatsoever. Would definitely stay here again.

Connie’s place was so beautiful. located two blocks from el centro. It’s a corner spacious home. Easy to find and beautiful surroundings. It was tough to find parking but again we went for we years Eve. She helped us look for a parking garage and that helped us extremely. Cold nights in San Miguel but didn’t feel it at the home she had all the amenities we could hope for. Great stay! Great place and willing to book again when I return to SMA.

This place was amazing. We didn't want to leave. Washer dryer came in handy and the terrace was a good place to hang out with friends.

This home is amazing, especially for families to visit together but still have privacy. The location is perfect to get everywhere quickly and close to so many wonderful eateries, shops and the main sites. Connie was always in touch right up until check in and made the whole process so easy. This is way better than a hotel!

The house is lovingly decorated and has some beautiful details. Connie was always attentive to all our questions and helped us with everything. If possible, we would give you 7 🌟 stars!!! One point a little disadvantage: the house is located on a somewhat crowded street and at night and in the early morning many cars and motorcycles are heard. One of the rooms faces back and you don't hear anything. The other two face the street. For us it was not a problem but if someone is sensitive to noise they should be aware of it

Connie has a lovely home in a great location in San Miguel. Her communication was quick, check in was handled smoothly, and the house was clean and fresh. Casa Lucero was a great place to start our days exploring and eating and drinking, and a comfortable spot to return to and relax. We all especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace to watch the people pass by, look at the lights of the town, and talk under the stars. Beautiful House, very well location , clean, and complete.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. We are a family of four with two kids aged 5 and 7. We stayed here for a month. The listing and photos are very accurate. Very well designed home in a great location. It is very centrally located but on a relatively quiet street. As some others mentioned the bedrooms do tend to get hot even when the temperature is mild outside. That was really the only drawback but there are some strong fans that were provided. Connie was always available to answer our questions right away. We would stay here again.

Connie was a great host. very communicative and accommodating. The place was very charming. The location is fantastic and the rooftop is lovely. The only downside is that the rooms got quite warm at night.

Very nice house with great location

We stayed in Casa Lucero for 4 months, living and working from SMA. The place looked as nice or nicer than the photos and was perfectly clean upon arrival. The location in the City is fantastic, walking distance to anywhere in Centro. The kitchen was nicely stocked with common cooking utensils and there were plenty of plates, cups, bowls, knives, etc. We did buy a few extra items for the kitchen but it was only because we were cooking in the Airbnb often due to the length of our stay. The beds and linens were very comfortable. There is a bit of road noise throughout the day and into the evening as the home is so close to the road (true for most all places in SMA). The road noise quiets into the later evening and there are a couple of nice fans that offered good "white noise." Especially with the fan running there were no problems sleeping. All three bedrooms were nicely furnished, great for a group of friends or a large family. The Wifi was strong and we had a good experience working in this location. There is a very nice workspace on the 2nd floor situated at the top of the stairs. It is right below the entry to the rooftop terrace, so there was great light and airflow. A great workspace for remote workers! The terrace was also fantastic. We enjoyed many sunsets and warm SMA afternoons with great views. Connie, the Airbnb host is awesome! She could not have been more responsive for various problems and questions throughout our stay. She was always on top of things. We enjoyed working with her. We had a great time at this Airbnb and would consider coming back for another stay in the future! Highly recommended for all!

Excellent location , The house is flawless and very nice

Wonderful place for our stay in SMdA (2 couples)! Location is near everything so you can walk to markets, square, park, restaurants, etc. Rooftop deck was the perfect start and end to our days. House included everything we needed. The Photos don’t do it justice, it is very nicely decorated and comfortable. Connie was an excellent communicator and responded quickly. Definitely recommend!

It is an excellent option for Connie's location, space and attention, highly recommended if you want to be close to everything and with a great space to be.

The very nice house, decorated with nice details, is very central, so you can do everything by walking, also the street is quiet and without problem you can park the car on the street. Connie is on the lookout and communication with her is efficient. The only downside is that the 2-bedroom windows face the street and at night you can hear a lot of noise, however the noise slows as the night goes on.

We stayed at Connie's place my friends and I for a weekend and our stay was much better than we expected. The house is beautiful!! It looks beautiful in the pictures but not appreciated as much as it is in person. It has a very nice rooftop with a beautiful view. The house was SUPER clean and we didn't lack a thing. The location is also perfect. Next time I go to San Miguel, I'll definitely stay at this house again.

I stayed at Casa Lucero to celebrate New Year's, and the experience was amazing. The house is very conveniently located, surrounded by cafes and good restaurants, and a few minutes' walk from the parish. The house is super comfortable, clean, and decorated in a way that makes you feel at home. The best thing is the view from the rooftop. You can spend hours observing the beauty of San Miguel. Connie was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at Casa Lucero again.

We were so fortunate to find this hidden gem in San Miguel. From the moment we entered the home it was like being transported to a house out of a magazine. The detail to everything from the decor, the architecture to the beautiful bed linens. The house is perfect. The terrace is such a bonus with breathtaking views. Perfect for early morning coffee. The house is located just a couple of blocks or a 5-7 min walk to what is know as the Centro where you will find the Parroquia de San Miguel. On your walk there are plenty of restaurants, coffee houses and shops. Connie made sure to tell us of some of the local place to eat too! Thank you Connie. This was our 2nd time in San Miguel and I liked how we were close to everything but not in the center of all the noise. We will definitely be staying here again. Some bonuses: Location, View, plenty of goooood coffee, super comfy beds, Netflix, good WiFi, and great host!!
