Bernie is a hard worker who cares about his business. He made sure my son and I were accommodated and helped solve the issues that arose. Definitely my favorite Airbnb host. The intersection up the street has everything you need.

Overall an excellent option, it exceeded my expectations in every way from Bernie's friendly and respectful service to the comfort and cleanliness of the spaces. You can easily get from there to almost anywhere in the city by taxi or Uber... there is almost no public transportation around, but there are many taxis, and taxis are not expensive there.

We spent two nights in Bernardo's apartment to explore the surroundings of Chetumal. Bernardo was very personable and available at all times. There was a parking spot right from the house. The apartment had minimalist, but completely sufficient equipment. There was also a nice, green outdoor area and a small shop right next door. All in all, we were very satisfied and would recommend the apartment.

Modest and very comfortable place to stay. The courtyard is very peaceful and everything looks very well taken care of. Bernardo was also very responsive and suuuuper helpful (even when I made a mistake with my booking). I would definitely stay here again.

I was very satisfied ser centrally only 20 minutes walk to ADO station and 20 mi to the harbor station and 20 mi to the harbor. For my travel purposes it was perfect

This was a great place to stay, private and comfortable. If you want to save money there’s a kitchen where you are able to cook your own meals. If you want to eat out, then there are restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a grocery store right next door and laundry mat across the street, which is very convenient for long stay guests. Bernardo was very hospitable and responsive. I recommend this place.

Clean, quiet(except for some canine neighbors ), located halfway between the ADO and Nuevo Mercado bus terminals and near lots of shopping and places to eat.

I stayed for 1 week here, and enjoyed the stay. Bernardo is an excellent host and tries his best to make you feel right at home. Bernardo was very responsive to all questions and was extremely helpful - he really want you to enjoy your stay and will try his best to ensure that. I cooked most of my meals for the week and the stove and fridge was useful. I would recommend this place for the value.

My husband and I stayed for three nights. Bernardo assisted with our check-in and made sure to ask if we had all we needed. It is a few blocks from one of the main avenues so we loved the area and location. It was peaceful, quiet, and spacious. We highly recommend it and definitely will be returning!

Great place to stay for a couple nights. Wifi was strong and reliable for my online classes. Bernardo was very helpful and friendly. Bed and pillows were comfy! Hot water and felt safe :)

The apartment was clean and spacious. I worked most of the time and found the place to be comfortable and had no issues with the internet. Bernardo is super responsive and attentive host, he takes care of everything fast. The city centre is a bit far and also the city is not that very walkable but you can always take one of the many city taxis that passes by or get the taxis' numbers from Bernardo.

A great stay option in Chetumal. The place is simple but extremely comfortable and functional. For me going to a conference in Chetumal Tech, I was spectacular because I only had to walk one corner. Despite this, the town is small, so if you have a vehicle, you can get anywhere super fast. In addition, Bernardo is super attentive and always available for any needs or questions.

Bernardo is a good host and everything else is perfect. We'll be back.

Clean, inexpensive and comfortable. it's in decent neighborhood about 12-15min walk from the ADO and right by the zoo. It is in a locked courtyard with a few other apartments. we felt safe and happy. I would stay again. plus free coffee!

Super spacious room, we were 3 adults and a 2-year-old girl and everything was excellent. The beds are very comfortable, all clean, the kitchen equipped, the air conditioner in perfect condition, the place is very private, and safe, you can leave the car on or off the premises and it is safe. Bernie is always friendly and attentive.

Good and friendly host, it was a nice and comfortable apartment, not so central place but it is a good transfer point for different places.

All good! The room is spacious, has a small refrigerator and a few things in case you want to cook in addition to a coffee maker. Highly recommended, just note that it does not have a TV.

Bernardo's apartment is a fantastic stay! The suite has everything you'll need, is clean and very comfortable. It's located behind a large gate which felt very private and secure. Bernardo himself is incredibly warm, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we could need. Would highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Chetumal!

Very cozy and clean studio with kitchen. Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Bernardo was a nice host, very helpful. Recommend it! The only thing it bothered us was the dogs barking all night, so we didn’t sleep so well..

If you are looking for a place to sleep and enjoy the city this place is perfect. Same price as a regular room in any hotel but greater privacy and convenience. You will feel like you are right at home. Bernardo is a great host.

I stayed only one night with my wife and son since I was passing Xpujil. The place is located about a 20 minute walk from the ADO terminal, right next door it has a grocery store that is serviced by Bernardo's mom. Recommended for couples or small families.

Simple and needed!

Bernardo’s place is exactly as advertised- a clean studio apartment with everything you need. I was working remote and on Zoom meetings for most of the week and the Internet was great the entire time! Conveniently located next to stores, restaurants, and a lavanderia. I would definitely recommend Bernardo’s place!

Excellent attention from Bernardo, he helped us more than once with questions and recommendations. The location is excellent and the place is very comfortable and safe.

This is a perfect little place to hole up if you’re traveling through Chetumal, especially if you’re crossing the border the next day. Late night tacos around the corner were very convenient.
