Loved this beautiful home!! Beautiful beach views and the entire staff were great. Patricia, the concierge was great to work with and the home cooked meals were the cherry on top of the icing. We had dinner reservations booked and opted to stay in and have dinner at our AirBnb during our entire stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at Len's property. The staff was very kind and Patricia his property manager took care of all of our needs from planning our stay, to booking our activities and driver, even bringing in an amazing Mariachi band! We appreciated Rafa the cleaning lady doing our laundry daily as well. We even had two awesome fireworks shows right above our back yard thanks to the gusts staying next door! This is truly more of a 4 bedroom as the fifth is IMO a staff quarters as it is small and set back behind the laundry room. Its fine for young children. We had 6 people so it really didn't matter to us just FYI. We had a fabulous time and were sad to leave but we will be returning again!

We lived in the gorgeous infinity pool with a 180 degree view of the entire bay. We are 3 generations from 72 years down to 3, everyone had a fabulous time! Chef Christian was very talented and Roman and Rafa took great care, as well. No one wanted to leave!! The only negative was the teeny converted ‘maids room’ behind laundry. Thanks Len, look forward to returning!

We just spent the most magical 4 nights in Puerto Vallarta. We felt so safe and cared for by the entire house staff. The location is beautiful and unparalleled. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our house server Roman was friendly and took great care of our group of 10. Our chef Christian made the most delicious meals for us. We honestly didn’t want to leave the villa. House manager Patricia was also instrumental in helping us set up the most luxurious experiences with airport pick up, in home massages, and even securing a surprise birthday cake for my friends. Would love to return!

Book this home- you will not be disappointed

We stayed at Casa Velas in November 2025 and had an amazing experience. Our group included 6 adults and 3 kids, and the home had plenty of comfortable beds, beautiful rooms, and a great pool the kids loved. The house is just one flight of stairs from the ocean—note the beach directly in front is rocky, but sandy swim areas are a 5–10 minute walk away. Town is a 10–15 minute walk along the beach or a quick taxi ride. The property feels very safe and well maintained. A highlight of Casa Velas is the staff. Patricia (manager/concierge) helped coordinate everything from transportation to excursions. Juan, the chef, made incredible meals—just choose two per day and reimburse him for groceries in pesos. Roman prepared drinks, snacks, and helped with meals, and Rafa kept the entire home spotless every morning. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful while giving us plenty of privacy. This place is a gem. Is a private luxury villa and Roman, the Houseman, Juan, the Chef, Patricia, the concierge, and Rafa, the housekeeper were all amazingly attentive to all of our needs. We paid for our food and groceries day and staff pretty sure that all of our needs were made. I highly recommend this place and can have many people stay there without feeling cramped. Excellent Experience.

We just returned from spending an unbelievable week at Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta. This was the trip of a lifetime. Our adult children and their extended families joined us to celebrate our 50 th anniversary and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was so much space in the gorgeous home, the pool was perfectly warm and super clean, the beach was steps away with the constant soothing sound of the waves and the staff was always attentive and accommodating. Juan was a super chef, Roman could mix a mean drink and make the most delicious pico de gallo and guacamole. Riva made sure we always had freshly laundered beach and bath towels and kept the house tidy. The private pool overlooking the beach, the sandy beach with some boulders and tide pools, the ability to walk along the beach all the way to the Zona Romantica made the whole trip spectacular!

Casa Velas was even better than the pictures! It will be very hard to take a vacation in a hotel now after experiencing casa Velas. Patricia was right there from the first minute on & spoke great English for ease of scheduling any adventure you want. Chef Juan spoke great English as well. He cooked us anything we wanted & special dietary needs. It was all so fresh especially fresh squeezed orange juice. WOW!!!!! Roman & Rafa were there for every need. Cleaned everything up. Roman assisted Juan during the meals which made it so easy for us. We had 4 kids 9 & under & 8 adults. The kids would go pool, beach, pool, beach with ease. We used the kayaks & Roman got those down for us. Only 0.85 miles from the boardwalk. We will be back!!

Dreamy location! Such a wonderful spot to swim in the pool and listen to the waves. Beautiful walks on the beach, wonderful staff that could accommodate anything and an extremely clean home. They took care of everything, all we had to do was relax.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning open-front home in Puerto Vallarta, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the waves set the perfect tone for our vacation. The home itself is beautifully designed, with spacious, airy interiors that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. The ocean-front layout allowed us to soak in the gorgeous sunsets every evening from the comfort of the living area. What truly elevated our experience was the top-notch staff. From arranging local excursions to preparing delicious meals, their hospitality made us feel like royalty. The location is also perfect—close to the vibrant heart of Puerto Vallarta while still offering a serene retreat. No words for the amazing time we had and the beauty of Casa Velas! The location is prime - incredible pool overlooking the ocean and very comfortable bedroom/living/dining spaces. Cannot emphasize the view more - we watched whales almost daily (seasonal)! Access to the beach is easy, then you can enjoy the infinity pool. We were a family with 2 children - it was paradise. Truly a magical stay made even more perfect with the staff that takes care of you. Roman, THE man, was incredible serving and helping us with everything we needed. Chef Juan cooked amazing meals. Rafa kept the place spotless and helped us with laundry. Patricia the concierge checked on us and took great care of us. 3 things to note: 1) Talk to the concierge to understand how much cash you need - you pay for the ingredients in cash. 2) Tips are expected although staff is included 3) There are no beach umbrellas. We took a tent for sun protection which is NEEDED. BOOK now - you will be in paradise very soon!

Our family of 8 stayed at Casa Velas for a little over a week at Christmas. The past reviews for this place are all very accurate. This place was absolutely perfect, and though the house and grounds are incredible in of themselves, the staff is what really makes it shine. We received exceptional resort-type service from the moment we arrived until we departed for the airport. Chef Juan takes pride in work, and made certain every meal was special. Roman was there to assist with whatever we needed, and served us delicious drinks by the pool all day. Rafa kept the place spotless, and was more than willing to throw in a few loads of laundry for us as well. And Patricia the concierge was available at any time to make sure everything with our stay was going great. She also arranged activities and van rides for everywhere we needed to go. The house is grand and beautiful, the beds comfortable, the AC works, and the view is amazing. Stay here, you will never want to leave.

We loved Casa Vela! It was a gorgeous home and the views were breathtaking! Everything about the house was enjoyable! We were with another family and all the kids loved the proximity to the beach and the waves. The food Chef Christian cooked were works of art and so good! Rafa kept the house spotless and Ramon was there for anything we needed. They made the stay even better! We will be back and ( if you ever want to sell the house please let us know) 😂. Thanks again! Casa Velas was spectacular. The location is superb (close drive to zona romantica and beach-front). The service (Roman, Cristian and Rafa) were great. Chef Cristian's food blew us away at every meal. Most of the bathrooms in the house are enclosed outdoor spaces (no AC).

Truly amazing experience. I 100% recommend staying here. The house is beautiful, staff is friendly/helpful, and food is delicious. We loved the infinity pool and beach access. A few things worth mentioning, you will likely want to taxi/Uber into town if you plan to go. While technically walkable, the hills/cobblestone make it a bit of an adventure to do so. We had no issues getting taxis, so this is just a call out if you’re questioning how walkable the house is. The only other thing to mention is the master bathroom is open air, and therefore not air conditioned. Showering while listening to the waves is part of the appeal, and we enjoyed it, but it can get hot if you’re using a hairdryer or doing makeup. The other bathrooms had AC, so again, just worth noting, and easily solvable. I can’t stress enough how highly I recommend this property. I’ve also stayed at a luxury condo rental in the Romantic Zone, and while both experiences were fantastic, this property was truly magical!

We had a fantastic experience at Casa Velas. Isela was easy to communicate with, coordinated our airport transportation and met us at the villa. When you first walk in all you can think is Amazing. Pictures don’t do the home justice. Len has continued to invest in the home as you could see many recent updates. Chef Christian made phenomenal meals and even worked with us for some special requests. Roman is amazing, cleaning up around us, helping with luggage and assisting with meal service each day. The house was kept immaculately clean by Rafa who even washed a load or two of laundry, even with our protesting. All in all, a truly fantastic way to spend a week in Puerto Vallarta!

I’ve stayed in great AirBnB’s all around the world, including several in Puerto Vallarta, but my stay in Casa Velas was hands down the best hospitality experience I’ve ever had, and it isn’t even close. Stayed here with a group of 8 and the place felt spacious. I work as a civil engineer and real estate developer in Silicon Valley and have to admit that the architecture and structure of Casa Vela is amazing! The backyard is very well designed for relaxation and entertainment in mind. The best part of our stay was the service, top notch. The on-site chef is the real deal. He knows and loves his craft. Chef Christian’s meals were hands down the best meals I’ve had in PV, everything from the seafood to typical mexican dishes. Not sure I can say there’s a better vacation experience I’ve had in my life compared to the experience I had at Casa Velas. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had the most wonderful time at this house! The chef Christian cooked the most delicious food, and accommodated all our requests. Roman was super attentive and nice, and made sure we always had what we needed. Rafa kept the house and rooms spotless, and all three of them were just so nice and pleasant. They made our stay absolutely wonderful. The house is way more beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice. We actually got to see whales almost every day while hanging by the pool, just such a wonderful view. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation.

Casa Velas is the BEST Airbnb I've stayed in. Pictures don't convey how nice it is -- right on the water. Our group of 9 rarely left the property -- staff!! Tips: 1. A week before arrival, we got a list of menu items to pick our first dinner, and a shopping list of items we might want when we arrived (sweet!) 2. CV is a 35 minute cab ride from PVR. Cab is $22 from PVR to CV. Uber is $12 but need to cross a bridge since Uber's aren't allow to pick up on airport. I suggest taking cab FROM PVR and an Uber TO PVR. 3. Staff of 4: 1. Concierge, greeted us with perfect English then left #), on property staff had limited English: 2. Awesome Chef, 3. Hotel type cleaning, 4. Whatever. 4. They prepare 2 meals per day. We had wonderful breakfast and spectacular dinners. Lunch was mostly leftover dinners. 5. 4 beautiful BRs and 1 small with 2 twins. 6. PV shops/bars 15 min walk, but why? 7. We stayed 4 nights, spent $475/day ($300 food+$75 drinks+$100 tip) about $50/person/day ($20 wine)

Our family went down to Puerta Vallarta for a few days to get out of the cold in Minnesota. Casa Velas was simply incredible. The views, the location, the house were all over the top. The service from Roman, Cristian and Rafa were excellent. We only ate dinner in once but Cristian is an incredible cook. We had amazing breakfasts each day. I dont think you can get a much better location or experience.

My family of 9 came for our holiday getaway and this home was simply amazing. Isla the house manager met us and provided a run down of the home and staff she even arranged for massages at the home. Roman took care of our every need and I have never felt more spoiled. Rafaela had the home spotless every morning when we woke up (this was amazing!!). And please do yourself a favor make sure you utilize Chef Christian! His meals outshined any meal we had in town! I’m talking breakfast’s that were delicious and beautiful, chicken enchiladas that were the best I’ve ever had, fillet mignon that you could actually cut with a butter knife, I could go on and on. This house and staff are a 10/10. You could not possibly find anything better in this location. Thank you Len for allowing us to enjoy your home.

I stayed at Casa Velas for four nights with 11 guests for my 30th birthday celebration. The house was even more incredible than the pictures and descriptions. The views from the pool were amazing, the food and drinks were incredible, the staff was very attentive and responsive and all my questions before check in were promptly answered. We ended up barely leaving the house because it had everything we needed and more. However, it was easy to get ubers and taxis when we did leave and it was easy to get to Zona Romantica and El Centro. I would highly recommend Casa Velas to anyone staying in Puerto Vallarta.

I had my bachelorette weekend here with 11 women total. I was looking for more of a low-key, bonding/relaxation type vibe, and this place 100% delivered and was absolutely worth the price. Len is very responsive which is wonderful. The house is stunning, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, it feels very private, the beach is beautiful, and the staff is awesome and helpful. We were so well taken care of and would definitely book again. We were also able to book some services separate from the Airbnb to come to the house (a soundbath, photographer, and art teacher/model for a drawing class) and which was really nice. We had an outdoor hour long zoom call with someone during lunch, and the wifi worked great! There is a hotel 1 block away that calls cabs on our behalf when we left the house, which not only is great for getting around but also when you need to get back to the aiport! The house also comes with paddleboards which we enjoyed. We wouldn't change a thing, no issues. You should definitely book your stay here!

We took our entire family to PV for our 50th wedding anniversary. The villa is beyond fabulous. The pool was awesome, especially for the grandkids, with the gorgeous view of the ocean below. The staff was amazing, our chef prepared filet and scampi for our anniversary dinner. The best filet mignon we’ve ever had. And I highly recommend the french toast for breakfast. The house man was there for whatever issues came up and our maid was wonderful, everything was always clean, including our laundry. The trip of a lifetime!

We truly loved our time here. The location, food, and employees were great. They took the time to plan my two-year-old's meals, utensils, and drinks. We couldn't ask for more.

Casa Velas is absolutely beautiful. The house will not disappoint you at all. The staff is amazing, and the food was some of the best food we have ever had. We were a large group of 12 with additional guest coming down for my wife's birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond every day to make sure our stay was perfect. We have rented in the US before, but this was our first out of country rental. It was a little difficult trying to determine the average daily cost of food\beverages before arriving for budgeting purposes. I can say even with the alcohol purchase the average was around 20USD per day per person. Some of our party left the house daily to walk down to the Los Muertos pier area which was not that bad of walk (20 minutes). It is steep in some places but for the most part a nice walk. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful home and the staff was great. The views were amazing! It was hot and humid so I think I would have enjoyed this house in February way more! Ha! The bedrooms have awesome air conditioning but common areas didn’t so we got warm in the evenings trying to play games. I enjoyed the meals a lot. Gabriel had a lot of variety and delicious foods. It was so nice to run out to the beach when we wanted and I loved using the kayak! Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

This house is gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. As soon as you walk in you know you’re vacation is going to be amazing. The views and privacy we had were so nice and the staff was even better. They fed us delicious Mexican food, ask for the shrimp quesadillas! Make sure to bring more cash than you would incase you need the staff to get you more food, drinks etc..we found ourselves out of cash and needing to pay for some last minute items. Highly recommend this home!

In all honesty, I don’t know where to begin. The amazing host kept me informed throughout the whole process and communication was great, considering the fact that I am not a Spanish speaker. Now lets talk about the house. The photos DO NOT do this place justice. This home is pure elegance, class, and paradise…In addition to our amazing stay, everyone from the chef, the maid and the servers made my stay unforgettable. Long story short, this vacay has been the best vacay I have ever been in. Thank you Casa Velas!!!!

This house is amazing! The pool, the common areas, and the staff make this a true gem. Just a heads up the bedroom with two twin beds is very very small and more of a back room but is still comfortable, perfect for kids or a single traveler. I would definitely stay here again. Only downside was a few inaccuracies in the listing, but they fixed one of them while we were there. Check out time is noon.

CASA VELAS is PURE LUXURY. Len, Isela, and the house staff were amazing and catered to all my group's needs. My family and friends wish we had stayed at the house longer.... We came to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate my wife's birthday, and Casa Velas was the perfect backdrop for such a perfect day & celebration. From the welcome margaritas, the most stunning sunset from the infinity pool, to the various hang-out areas around the villa, the outdoor showers and lastly the beach side fireworks --> THIS IS YOU NEXT VACATION.... DO IT.

Wowza!!! This place is AMAZING!! The staff is beyond fantastic. You just can’t get any better than the service here. I celebrated my 50th birthday here with 8 other friends. The staff decorated, brought flowers, cake, dinner, drinks...literally anything you could ask for they made happen. They even helped my friend set up fireworks on the beach and after cake and celebration we sat out by the pool for a fireworks show. My heart is full. Thank you to Isela and her team. We will be back. Much love to PVR. **One small note... and it was not a big deal at all. the electricity kept flipping off in the small room with twin beds off the kitchen. That room wasn’t quite as glamorous as the other rooms.. but still charming and lovely!!

Casa Velas is a beautiful home with breathtaking views and great staff, but you should know there is a big construction site that we were not aware of right behind it so we did get a lot of noise and lack of privacy in some of the spaces.
