This place is as epic as it looks! Extremely Private, access to everything we would need from cookware to Boogie boards. It was clean, well maintained, and the hosts were both terrific to communicate with both via the app and in person. We would stay again and would definitely recommend to others!

Great property with three separate villas, perfect for groups who want both privacy and a shared space. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool area is really nice for relaxing together. It wasn’t clear in the listing that the host stays in a fourth villa on the property, but they were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful place for a group getaway.

We rented the 3 casitas below Joan and Dave's. The property is fantastic. The landscaping is amazing. All 3 of the casitas were clean and well designed. The pool was wonderful to hang out at and cool off during the day. We loved our stay. Joan and Dave are fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and helped us out well beyond the responsibilities of an airbnb host. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family who are going to visit Sayulita.

We rented all 3 casitas at Joan and Dave’s place for our family of 8 adults. We had plenty of space and the pool area was the perfect size for our group. All 3 homes were spacious and beautifully appointed with local artwork. Town and the main beach are only a 5 minute walk but we were away from any noise in town so it was the perfect location. Joan and Dave are the best hosts we have ever had. They are truly good people and we enjoyed meeting them on our trip. The added bonus was meeting Frankie and Moo (their sweet pups) once in a while for a pat. We are looking forward to coming back to this beautiful home again someday!

The property is beautiful! We rented all 3 casitas. Joan and Dave were so accommodating and very helpful with our transportation into town for a wedding. The casitas were all very clean, AC worked really well! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Joan and Dave’s gorgeous place! The casitas, plants and the view were exactly what I was looking for in a vacation spot! We rented all 3 casitas for 9 people and each casita was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was a short walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and beach. There’s a good cafe right around the corner for coffee and breakfast. The pool felt refreshing on the hot days and it was great to lounge around and relax outside on the deck. Joan and Dave were very responsive and accommodating, even letting us check out late since our flight wasn’t until the evening and they didn’t have a booking the next day. 100% would recommend this AirbNb and will definitely book again if I’m traveling back in the future :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Joan and Dave’s villa. It was a beautiful property, centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, accommodating to our request including roundtrip airport transportation and other arrangements. We would definitely book here again.

You will not regret booking this place. I came here on a trip with 6 friends and rented out all of the units. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. The house is beautiful and 5m walk to the beach or into town (in an area that felt safe/comfortable). Loved it!

Perfect vacation with the girls. The pool is awesome and refreshing. Joan and Dave respond quickly to messages and went above and beyond for us.

We had an excellent stay here in June. Property was better than we expected and the location is outstanding. Very quiet neighborhood but within an easy 5 minute walk to town or the beaches. Great views, lots of interesting birds and lots of comfortable spaces. I especially loved the rooms and comfy beds. We rented three separate units and each was unique and special. Pool was perfect to cool off and have a dip. There was room out front to park and charge our golf cart, and we took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrellas that were available. Very clean, well maintained property and everything was very clean. It’s also a very safe and secure property and in a a very nice part of town. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was us by far the best. The first time where the pictures don’t do the property justice and the hosts and very warm and welcoming. Incredible find that I can’t recommend strongly enough.

Wow - this is one of those places you just want to keep to yourself :) The pics just don't do it justice, we were blown away -- Banderas Bay views from the pool! Not too far (5 min walk, uphill but no cart needed) from downtown (and maybe 7 from the beach) but not so close that you can't sleep from the music at the bars. Wonderfully built into the hillside, each casa has great privacy but the common space at the pool is fantastic and really works for groups that rent the whole place out. Joan and Dave live onsite but gave us total privacy and were responsive and super nice when needed. The decor and attention to detail in this place was excellent and really well thought out. Check in and check out were smooth and painless. We got some great nightlife tips from their daughter too! Just book this place, it's worth it!

Joan and Dave were perfect hosts and very responsive. They were there if we needed them but gave us total privacy. We were a party of six; my husband and myself and our two grown kids with their significant others. We had two Casitas which was perfect as the kids could stay up later and we all had our space. The location of their place is absolutely perfect!! We were an easy 5 minute walk to the downtown area of Sayulita and the Sayulita beach. The energy of Sayulita is amazing, filled with incredible restaurants, music venues and interesting street art and vendors. I The local beach, while colorful, was not where we hung out. There are several other remote beaches we explored within walking distance or a golf cart ride away. The pool area at Casa Colibri was so relaxing and a great place to chill out after a long day at beach or in town. The kitchens in our Casitas were fully stocked and made "cooking in" a breeze. We cannot say enough about our experience in Sayulita and Joan and Dave's place. We highly recommend it and hope to back very soon!

Joan and Dave’s place is amazing! Joan and Dave are very friendly & we really enjoyed being their guests. The location is very convenient, 5 minutes from downtown. We rented out the 3 casitas for two weeks and are so happy we did. The kids had a blast in the pool. Each casita is stocked with all the amenities you need. Seriously one of the most beautiful Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. There’s character and charm throughout the entire property. Beds were comfortable which is a huge plus traveling. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The four of is had a great time in Las Flores! Beautiful and comfy, and great service and lending of boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella etc! Higly recommend!

Joan and Dave are great hosts who helped us with our bearings and even food the first night when there was steerable storm not fit for man nor beast! The location is great just far enough away from the center of town to really enjoy the tranquility of Sayulita. Our space Las Flores was wonderful perfect for a couple to enjoy a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful and feels very authentic. Close to town and also a short walk to beautiful Playa Los Muertos. Hosts were available and knowledgeable - but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our getaway. Would recommend to anyone - and we'll be back if we're ever in Sayulita again!

We stayed in the Buena Vista casita. It was absolutely lovely. We loved the location too, quiet street but really close to town and the beach and only a small hill to walk up to get back home. We did get a golf cart but could have done without it expect it was nice to have to haul beach stuff in. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The little pool is perfect and private. The deck was super private too. Would definitely recommend. Make sure to read the host's info book, esp. the part about using the ATMs in town. We didn't until it was too late, but luckily we didn't have any issues. We unfortunately got sick while we were in Sayulita, but really have no way of knowing what it was that caused it as it hit us all at different times. I've been to Mexico several times and never gotten sick before. WASH YOUR HANDS and don't drink the tap water. There is plenty of purified water in the unit too!

Had an amazing stay at Joan and Dave's place! The location is perfect. We were close to the beach, shops and restaurants and able to walk everywhere. Even though there are other casitas on the property, each space feels very private. We often had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed the view. Joan and Dave were awesome hosts and gave us great tips about the area. Super relaxing place to stay! Can't wait to come back!

A great stay at Casa Colibri. My wife and I arrived with our one year, a three year old and my mother-in-law in tow. We booked the two smaller apartments Las Flores and Tres Palmas, they were perfect for our needs and immaculately kept. Another family were staying upstairs with their kids and in-laws, and so we all got to hang out and play/grill by the pool. The location is perfect, close enough for a quick stroll into town, easy enough with a regular umbrella stroller. Also far enough out that any weekend music in town doesn't disturb you. There's a new cafe - Yah-Yah's - that's right round the corner that made getting breakfast a cinch. Joan and Dave were the perfect hosts, there when you need them (they live above the property), and more than helpful with all our needs. They also gave great recommendations for eating out and local info. Will be back! Recommend getting take-out from El Itacate, amazing tacos - also the 'Itacate', crispy stuffed cheese, awesome. Also, worth making the extra hike to the Playa Los Muertos beach.

We stay in the casita Tres palmas, and it was absolutely perfect. Very cosy, clean and quiet but at only 5 minutes walk from the central place and 10 minutes to the beach. Joan and Dave are present if you need anything and they are very discret. I recommend this place for a couple.

Joan and Dave’s place in Sayulita was exceptional! The location was perfect and the view was amazing! The casita had everything we needed. Despite the rains and threat of a hurricane we felt very taken care of safe in the casita. Joan and Dave’s response time was great and they were extremely friendly. We would definitely rent the casita when we return to Sayulita! everything was perfect!

Beautiful vacation rental with amazing views- Dave was very helpful when. We first arrived . The home is very well maintained and in a great location a quick 2 minute drive into town - loved the golf cart we rented and there are so many great places to eat! I wish the weather was a little sunnier but Sayulita is a great little town with a mellow atmosphere and lovely beaches.

Joan and Dave's 2 bedroom place is spectacular. It's very nice and spacious and the location is perfect. It's very close to town (only a 5 min walk) but quiet at night. I would definitely recommend staying here when you come to Sayulita.

My husband, one year old and I had a fabulous stay here. Joan and Dave were perfect hosts and the place was perfect!

First, the house is gorgeous, simply gorgeous. The view is amazing, the house is beautifully decorated and equipped, and it has daily maid service. Great. The house is within walking distance to downtown and the beach but please be advised that it is at the top of a hill so you might want to rent an inexpensive golf cart while here if you don't love walking (we love walking and never used a golf cart-- even when we carried our surf boards to the beach). And finally Joan and David are fantastic: helpful, warm, and full of life.

I had a lovely stay in Joan and Dave's 1-bedroom casita with my partner and almost 2-year-old daughter. The place was clean, well-equipped, and for those who like a break from the heat, nice and cool. We didn't have to turn on the air conditioner once! For anything else we needed or questions we had, Joan and Dave were available and happy to help. They are incredibly kind and if we ever find ourselves in Sayulita again, we hope to stay at Casa Colibri.

The experience was great. The place was wonderful overlooking Salyulita and just a few minutes walk from town. No real need for a golf cart unless you have problems walking. Joan and Dave were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
