This house was great for our family! The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. We would stay again for sure! The house is super close to the beach and there is also a small store just down the way. Lo de Marcos is a quiet alternative to the busier PV and Sayulita.

The place worked out great for our group of eight. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The large outdoor area was a great hangout spot for all us. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

3rd time in LDM and the space was the best yet. Beautiful property minutes to the beach and town square, the landscaping was beautiful and rooms were well situated providing everyone with ample privacy. The lounging/pool area is fantastic for a larger group and provides beautiful views of the hills.

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Vista. This was my fourth time in Lo de Marcos and the second time we have come as a whole family. Our party of six (age range, 13-73) was extremely comfortable at the house. The patio is, of course, the main hub and highlight, overlooking the surrounding neighborhood with mountains in the distance. You can see a small sliver of the ocean from the upper bedroom and can hear the waves at night on occasion. Having stayed in multiple parts of town, I love this location the best. Truly a five-minute walk to the swimmable part of the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants, mini supers, ATMs, etc. While not necessary, renting a golf cart makes getting around town really easy, and can be especially helpful if you have small kids or adults with any sort of mobility issues. The hill to the house is steep, but shouldn't be an issue unless you struggle with stairs in general. The hosts were incredibly kind and proactive in communication. We hope to return!

We loved our stay at this perfect home in Lo de Marcos. We were 6 people and found the house very spacious and well equipped. Jack was easy to communicate with and made a lot of very good recommendations. The house is very close to the beach and not too far from the town. The wifi was good, 2 out of the 4 rooms has AC, and each room has its own bathroom and private outdoor space. We loved the outdoor living area and BBQ. The town and beach are incredible. We'd recommend this house and this town to any visitors looking for a relaxing vacation!

We had a wonderful week in Lo de Marcos thanks to our hosts easy communication, great recommendation, and this beautiful home with lots of outdoor living space. We were a group of 8 adults and 4 young children and Jack facilitated our groups needs as well as extra beds for the youngsters. We took a shuttle from Puerto Vallarta and rented two golf carts for the group which made visits to the main plaza for food easy (5 minute drive or less than 1 km walk). The house is 500m or about 5 minutes walking to the beach.

A very good stay

Our family of four spent an amazing week in lo de Marcos over the Christmas holiday. Jack and Molly were fantastic hosts providing clear directions to the home and easy to follow instructions once we arrived. The house is a short (5 min) walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We opted to rent a golf cart for the week which made running into town a breeze. (Be aware that cash is preferred and there is only one ATM currently available at the liquor store in town) The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. It's important to note that there is no living room inside the home and all hang out spaces are outside. Three out of the four bedrooms open to the patio or outside walkway. The patio, dipping pool, and outside seating areas were great for hanging out, reading a book, or listening to the sounds of lo de Marcos. We look forward to returning soon!

We had such an amazing time here. Lo de Marcos is a beautiful town with a great balance between enough to do and a quiet beach town. The house is gorgeous, there was plenty of space for 10 of us. Jack and Molly answered all of the questions we had about the house and gave great recommendations for a chef, golf cart rental and transportation to and from the airport. Can't wait to visit again.

The eight days we spent during our family reunion in Lo de Marcos at Casa Vista were exceptional beyond our expectations! The casa is truly amazing, with so much to offer both inside the home and along the exterior patios, balconies, and walkways. The kitchen/dining area is quite roomy, with a wonderful open feeling and everything one needs to prepare meals. Spending time on the patio is absolutey beautiful! Relaxing outside, day or night, feels timeless, whether star gazing, dipping in the pool, lying on the lounges, or sitting on the couches. Both the private spaces and the communal spaces are expertly designed. We chose the perfect home!!! Thank you so very much!

We had a memorable 2 week stay at Casa Vista. A great layout with functional, well equipped spaces for everyone to enjoy both inside and out. Close to the beach and main square by walking or with a golf cart. Jack and Molly were always quick to respond to any questions we had. We would highly recommend a stay at Casa Vista.

An excellent place to spend time as a family or a group of friends, it has comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. The social area is large and comfortable with very good places to be and share. The house is very well equipped, very full kitchen, enough towels for the bathroom and beach and very good parasols and chairs for the beach. You can walk to the beach as the area is quiet. Great place and great hosts!! Highly recommended!!

This was a fantastic place to stay in lo de Marcos - beautiful views and great patio area. Upstairs palapa bedrooms feel like you are in a treehouse. Location is in a lovely neighborhood built into a hill - easy walk to beach and slightly longer walk to town. With an 80 yr old and a 5 yr old in our party, we ended up renting a golf cart from Bahia rentals nearby, which is highly recommended just for more efficient travel around town. Hosts are super communicative and lovely - gave us lots of great recommendations including for a boat tour which we loved - whale/manta ray sightings and snorkeling. Word of caution - would not recommend trying to park in the garage. We are skilled mountain drivers and still slid backward toward the neighbor’s house trying to turn into the garage - pitch and angle combined with a subpar non 4WD rental vehicle make it quite challenging. It’s easy to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. Would definitely stay here again! Great place.

Enchanted by the accommodation, the house is very nice, Molly and Jack's response is very quick, they make you feel more than welcome and have everything to make your stay pleasant. We highly recommend your home and we will definitely be back... We brought a large vehicle we left it on the street as it was difficult for us to leave it in the garage and there was no problem.

Jack and Molly were extremely responsive to every question asked. Check-in was a bit jumbled, but a resourceful taxi driver and an unsecured wifi to connect us did the trick. Everything was easy to find and navigate in the house. The main kitchen was well appointed. The main floor master also had a kitchen that was less outfitted but worked fine. Only two bedrooms had A/C, but there was an abundance of fans to use. Getting more water delivered was easy. The cleaning, gardening and pool staff were great and very unobtrusive. The outdoor area was amazing! Pool, sun and shade...perfect! You warned of the steep driveway and rightly so...but renting a golf cart was easy and having the carport to secure it in was excellent! Use of a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella were also a bonus, along with the outside showers to get the sand off. Very walkable to beach and town. We have been to Lo de Marcos several times and really liked this location. Would definitely visit again!

We had a truly amazing stay at this beautiful home in Lo de Marcos. We visited for a week in March, two families of four (4 adults and 4 small children), and it could not have been better. We did rent a golf cart, which I would recommend for little people, though the walk into the centre of town is easy for adults. The place was beautiful, clean and extremely well-equipped (the spray sunblock was especially appreciated) and we cooked almost every meal. The pool is small but deep and the kids treated it like a full size pool - swimming 2-3 times a day! I had previously stayed in San Pancho (2018), which was lovely, but I think Lo de Marcos (and its beach) have my heart. The people in town were extremely friendly and welcoming to our families and we are already talking about coming back! Thank you Jack and Molly for being such stellar hosts and for such a magical holiday.

This is a beautiful home in a very special town in Mexico. This was our first visit to Lo de Marcos, and I rented this house for my family for a week’s stay (4 adults and one toddler). The house is very well appointed with everything you need and is located up a short, steep hill which provides an incredible view. The terrace and plunge pool are dreamy. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and separate from each other, which offers lots of privacy. It’s worth noting that the main communal living space is outdoors and the bedrooms are not connected by an interior stairway. Rather the stairs are located outdoors. Normally I don’t think this is an issue, but it was unfortunately chilly and rainy for the first few days we were there. The stairs in particular are slick when wet. Jack and Molly were incredibly helpful and responsive to my questions, and they provided excellent recommendations for taxis, massages, and even helped us book a chef! Would love to go back!

Our host Jack was easy to work with and very responsive to our requests and questions. The house is very large and the large courtyard makes it seem even larger. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates , etc and the chef our host recommended prepared several delicious meals

We love Lo de Marcos! It was our first time exploring this sweet, tight little community. Everyone was really really nice, several ATMs, restaurants plentiful, birds and butterflies galore. The house is beautiful and it sits atop a steep cobblestone hill. Our taxi driver drove a new Chevy Suburban and got us there with no problem. We loved the size of the house. Everyone had room to do their own thing. We cooked everyday. The kitchen was fully equipped, but I would bring your own spices. The pool is a lovely feature, but no one was brave enough to go in above the ankles. No pool heater. Also, one thing to note is that it wasn't safe to swim in the ocean as the waves were too powerful. However, swells and tides are always changing. We loved our stay, our hosts and the community of Lo de Marcos. Great memories. All 6 of us truly enjoyed our vacation and look forward to another stay next year.

We had a great stay in this home. The host were incredibly accommodating and helpful in making local recommendations. They made check in easy and struck to appropriate balance between engaging with us and overwhelming us with info. We loved interacting with Molly and Jack - they were super responsive and attentive to our needs. The home was clean and the views were unbeatable. We can't wait to return and would recommend this home to others!!

Beautiful house that is great for a big family or two small families. Views over town and the surrounding mtns. Place was very clean and the host were highly communicative and accommodating. Short walk to the southern end of the beach which is the best spot for little kid swimming and access to the surf break. We’ll stocked kitchen, nice size bedrooms each with an accompanying bathroom. Kids loved the dipping pool. Lo De Marcos is wonderful. Quieter and less touristy than sayulita or San pancho, but still an number of good restaurants and all necessary services. Best beach for kid swimming of the three towns. Recommend renting a golf cart if you’re going with young kids or a big group of people to ease access to beach and town. A great place all around, that we’d happily rent again.

This is a little slice of heaven! The views from the large patio and every room are breathtaking. The large porch/patio was super comfortable with a dipping pool and lots of seating options, a bar, a grill…literally everything you need to have a good time! The whole house was really well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable and waking up to the roosters crowing was pretty cool (if you’re a morning person like me!). It’s a short walk from the beach. Lo de Marcos is a sweet, local, family oriented beach…without all the craziness of Sayulita. I would highly recommend it - and Katherines beautiful home - for a relaxing beach vacation!

Beautiful home in a beautiful small town. Plenty of room. Gorgeous views. Well equipped kitchen (we hired a chef for a private dinner one night and she said she found everything she needed). The hosts could not have been more responsive and lovely. Take their recommendation for outdoor massages at the property. We traveled with two young children and the location was logistically challenging for those ages- it’s not the distances as much as the terrain, so we did a lot of walking with them on their shoulders (a bonus from their perspective!). The beach is beautiful and the ocean swimming there beyond lovely. Highly recommend.

It was our first time staying in LodeMarcos and Casa Vista was the perfect place to experience the charm of this litlle town. Once we aquainted ourselves to the area it was a short walk to the beach and about a ten minute walk to the center of town. The Casa was exactally as in the pictures. We used three of the four bedrooms for sleeping and the downstairs bedroom off the kitchen was used as our office. The wifi worked exceptionally well in the office space and good thruout the rest of the casa. We spent alot of time in the outdoor space enjoying the loungers and the small dipping pool. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have private bathrooms in each of the bedrooms we used. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed our breakfasts and a few dinners at the casa. Next time we will be sure to use the BBQ that was supplied. Molly and Jack were amazing and although we didn't meet in person they were quick to respond to our questions and needs.

This place was beautiful, and the hosts were amazing to work with. We enjoyed our stay very much . The main kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals. The host provided many added supplies with the house, especially in the kitchen, which was unexpected and very wonderful. There is great airflow and comfortable beds This place was a real winner, and the hosts are really good people that are easy to work with!

We had a fantastic time as a group of 8 adults at Casa Vista over Christmas 2022. The house was stunning and the host went above and beyond to provide amenities to make our stay very comfortable. We did several large dinners there and the kitchen was well supplied to accomplish this. We were given a ton of recommendations for restaurants, activities, shopping locations and more that made everything from grocery shopping to finding ATMs very easy. The low-key beach was an easy walk. The neighborhood is quiet as the main part of town was a little farther, but still easy to walk to. Lo De Marcos was a quaint little beach town. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and each couple had enough privacy and their own bathroom. We will come back again, thanks for everything!

Katherine´s home is stunning!! We had a wonderful stay with our friends together for 3 nights. The housing is so beautiful, open spaces everywhere. The location is perfect. Just 3 minutes walk to the beach and it can´t be better than that. The housing is beautifully designed. Each room has enough space / view. we love the open outdoor space where we could eat out or hang out, enjoying the beautiful view in the same time. The kitchen is SO SO SO WELL equipped!! We loved that we could enjoy cooking during our stay and it was such a fun experience to do so with friends together. The communications with the host and host´s family is great!!!! They were there to help us with any question with very prompt answers. We really felt like that we were received as a part of family. We look forward to our next stay at this gorgeous home when we visit Lo de Marcos again. Thank you!!

We loved Lo de Marcos so much that we came back! And brought family! Katherine's home was just perfect for the relaxing space we were looking for 6 people, plus our 5 year old. We were traveling with my parents and brother and sister in law & all had a private suite, each complete with bathrooms and even little kitchen areas. So we were able to all be together when it suited us and also have to space when needed. The dipping pool and deck and terraces were ideal for our group to eat outdoors and just enjoy THAT VIEW!!! Although we love the restaurants of Lo de Marcos, when we decided to prepare a meal at the house, we found it well equipped with everything we need to cook. The place is perfect for 3 couples, ample space for comfortable Mexican vacation. The house is situated on a quiet hill, but walk to the beach was quick and easy, as was proximity to restaurants and town. I can't say enough about how relaxed the stay was. Katherine was available by whatsapp for easy check in and out and questions that we had along the way. We are grateful for all they she did to make the stay so comfortable. We can't wait to come back! Lo de Marcos is our new favorite spot in Mexico.

This is a perfect Mexican hilltop villa with an ideal layout for everyone to enjoy space together on either the large patio or covered outdoor area on the 3rd level, or allow alone time on the patios off the bedrooms. The views and sunrises are gorgeous and some nights you can hear the water to help you fall asleep because it’s only a few blocks off the beach. With 3 full bathrooms, a dipping pool and an outdoor shower head there were plenty of options for even a large group to rinse off efficiently. The hosts made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely come back again!

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful villa. It is up on a hill which made it really peaceful, as it was far enough from the bustle of the center of town. The views from the terrace and palapa were breathtaking. The dipping pool was a delight and a great way to cool off after a walk around the sweet little town. We had everything we needed in regard to kitchen supplies, and having THREE kitchens was so awesome for morning coffee and to give us all the option to cook separately. The layout of the house makes it so that you can hang out all together, or also have privacy and alone time. Katherine was very communicative and sweet, and made sure we had what we needed. My only regret is not having booked it for a longer stay. But we will definitely be back!!
