Wow! What an amazing two weeks. This home is stunning and just the place to relax and unwind. The views from every level are incredible. We watched whales and dolphins cruise through the bay from the pool each day and enjoyed the incredible sunsets at dinner each night. Mary cooked delicious meals for us and was a pleasure to work with during our stay. Manuel took great care of us and the house and helped us with the little things (like taxis) when we needed him. Rosamaria was so responsive and helpful with questions both before and during our stay. We’ve stayed in some lovely places but this is absolutely a new favorite and such a special place. We feel lucky to have found it and we hope to return.

Staying at Casa Del Sol is a great part of our trip, the home and the views are beyond beautiful.. We were a couple visiting for a short time - and cannot wait to bring our family here some day. Check-in was simple Daniel was extremely helpful in assisting us throughout the day, and Mary kept us fed with delicious food. Don’t hesitate in booking you won’t regret it.

The house is one-of-a-kind; stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful architecture, big open spaces, and very comfortable rooms. The house is unique, gorgeous and well kept, with a breathtaking sunset view. We loved it. Its not walking distance to anything, which was a plus for us. The beach at the nearby Las Brisas hotel is ok, and only a 12 minute walk away, but if beach is the focus of your trip this may not be the best house for you. We had some pool problems, but Rosamaria was always quick and happy to help. Overall we spent a fantastic week at this property.

Simply fantastic. The accommodation is even better than in the photos. The food and the care in general in the house was so good that we never wanted to eat outside. Big compliments to Rosmarie and the whole crew. There is really nothing to complain about. Strongly recommend!

We just got back from staying in this beautiful home. Our review includes the pros and cons of our stay. PROS This home couldn’t be located in a better spot. The sunsets from the pool deck are simply spectacular. You’re walking distance from a resort (Las Brisas) which includes all the fine dining you could want, and a beach along with it. It’s a very private location as well and relatively quiet. Rosamaria is excellent with her communication and works hard to accommodate guests. CONS Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed that the pool was green and a large amount of algae buildup had accumulated. Being this was the most appealing part of the home, we were very disappointed to not be able to use the pool the first night/day. However, Rosamaria immediately had pool service working through the night to drain the entire pool, scrub it out, and had it ready by 4 PM the next day. Why this was not done ahead of time, we are not sure… We were also disappointed with the chef that had been arranged. Food quality was below average and we got food poisoning from one of our meals the night before our final day. It was so bad that we had to call a doctor to the house the next day and receive IVs and medicine and found ourselves in bed the entire day. We then refused to eat the food there and had food delivered from local restaurants instead. Another issue is we were locked into the compound every night and the front gate requires a key to open from the inside. While it didn’t pose much of a problem for us, we found it annoying that we had to call the staff whenever we wanted to be let out or let someone in. As a result, you do not truly have free reign of the home. The staff in the home doesn’t speak any English whatsoever. While we were able to make do with the little Spanish that we know, I was under the impression from the listing that we would have bilingual staff to understand our requests as they need a huge amount of direction. Most of the time the staff was hidden away and we had to seek them out to request food and/or refreshments. They had limited understanding of what we were requesting which resulted in different food and drink than we expected. CONCLUSION At the end of the day, we still enjoyed our time at the house. While we would likely not stay at this home again, if we did, we would do it a different way. 1.) Request a bilingual staff member if needed. 2.) Hire a driver on-call to go get whatever you might need as you will regularly find supplies are limited in the home. 3.) Request a key for front gate. 4.) Outline meals/times ahead of time so the staff knows what to prepare or expect to be delivered. 5.) Be specific about room cleaning, turn-down service and/or linen exchange.

We had the most spectacular stay. The house is utterly dreamy with beautiful views, rooms and central spaces. It feels so remote but is centrally located. Rosamaria was extremely accommodating. Counting the days until we can return.

The place is outstanding, the photos are very nice but in person it is much better. It's a place with a lot of peace. The architecture is harmonious with nature. The house staff is excellent at all times looking for how to make your stay better. The value for money is more than justified.

Rosamarias place is stunning: a beautiful open house, with large, comfortable shared spaces and private bedrooms. We loved spending time lounging by the pool, admiring the views and dining al fresco. Wonderful family vacation!

Rosa Marie is a fabulous host with a home well worth a vacation. Was difficult to leave a beautiful home with beautiful view. Easy drive into Zihuatanejo. Always returned early evening to watch the magnificent sunsets. Tona the chef was outstanding. Juan and Maria also very attentive to our needs. Architecture and design of the place was a 10/10. Our family and friends had a great time and would go back.

It's a house with a breathtaking view. The bedrooms and facilities are very nice. The service team provides unbeatable attention. Maybe because of the date, the price was very high. The only drawback...

The architecture of Casa del Sol is beautiful. It has all the amenities and a spectacular view. Rosa María was very friendly and was always attentive to us and the organization of her staff, which is impeccable. Toña the cook is charming and cooks delicious food. I highly recommend the house and thank Rosa María for all her attention.

The house was magnificent. The staff where there for anything we needed and where extremely nice. The views where spectacular. Everything was perfect, the only improvement I would make would be to add AC. I would recommend to anyone renting this house. It's really great!
