Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We LOVED our stay so very much! Location and views are stunning (from every bedroom) and all around the house. Pictures don't do it justice, has serious wow factor right upon entry and staff was beyond above and beyond!! Entire staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive, and the food was superb, absolutely wonderful place to vacation!!

The best place to stay in Puerta Vallarta. We came a few years ago and were DELIGHTED to see the same AMAZING staff who catered to our every need. Miguel manages the house and coordinates the shopping for meals, snacks, and beverages. Carlos makes killer margaritas and serves you during meals with a smile. Lupita prepared wonderful, professional-style meals for us, and Rosa was the friendliest house cleaner who also did our laundry. The house is gorgeous, quiet, and Tony oversees the night shift, so you feel safe all night also. You receive exceptional service at all times, day or night. You can heat the pool to your liking which was a bonus--furniture was comfortable and perfect...rooms cold and showers hot. Truly a 5 star experience and one unmatched by any other accommodations we have had at various resorts and houses around Mexico. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return to see our old friends.

This was hands down the best vacation we’ve ever had- my parents, our 4 teenagers, and us. The home is STUNNING, the location is AMAZING, and Miguel, Lupita, Carlos and Rosa took wonderful care of our every need. Miguel coordinated things outside the home for us such as transfers and provided great restaurant recommendations (although not as good as Lupita’s cooking 💖). Lupita stole the show with the BEST Mexican food we’ve ever had, every day. Carlos kept the beverages coming (among many other things) and Rosa kept the house sparkling clean (and even did our laundry!!). Tony is the night guard and we never felt unsafe, even for a second. We were there over Christmas and this was truly the best Christmas ever. We also saw whales ever single day which was a highlight for me.

We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Amapas. We brought a large group (11 adults and 4 children) for a wedding anniversary celebration and we were blown away during our stay. Everyone onsite was incredible and so helpful - Lupita prepped and cooked amazing meals each morning and evening, Carlos was an amazing mixologist, Miguel covered everything else we needed and was always willing to run to the store when we ran out of wine, beer, juice, or liquor, Tony kept us looked after each night and was there for late night lockouts. The pictures and description do not do the villas justice. Everything was beyond what we hoped and impeccably decorated and maintained. The bedrooms were private and the common areas large enough to not feel crowded. We cannot wait to return!

The home was absolutely wonderful and the staff were fantastic. The location excellent, the food delicious and the host was amazing. The entire family had the best time and will hopefully be visiting again very soon. We had the very best time and can’t speak more highly of this rental.

We loved this place! We plan an annual family vacation for a group of nine, and this spot couldn’t have been a better fit, It exceeded all our expectations. But what truly stole the show was the incredible staff. Every day, they prepared two delicious meals of our choice, made market runs for us, and even offered a spending allowance we didn’t need to settle until the end of the trip. It felt like pure hospitality and generosity rolled into one amazing stay. We’re already marking this spot on our calendar to return once or twice a year. Can’t wait to come back!

Villa Amapas is an impeccably furnished home that surrounded us with an impressive art collection, gardens, a clean and inviting pool, and easy ocean access. The bedrooms were spacious with spectacular views and the open living spaces accommodated our group gatherings while still affording us a sense of closeness. The staff was unbelievably helpful, respectful and efficient underscoring their dedication to making sure we had an enjoyable experience. We felt safe and well taken care of, for sure. The meals were lovingly, professionally prepared and super delicious! The house manager was incredibly friendly and supportive accommodating our requests regarding food, special services, transportation and service at every turn. Thank you Miguel, Lupita, Rosa, and Tony! We are excited to consider returning and would recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting to experience a peaceful retreat, the beauty of Puerto Vallarta and real Mexican hospitality.

Wow… Villa was amazing! Pictures don’t do it justice. My entire family felt it was better in person!! Space was perfect for everyone in my family (traveled with a group of 10, ranging from 6 to 70 years of age). Location was ideal as we were a 5 minute drive to Zona Romantica. Miguel, Carlos, Tony and the rest of the team were all very nice/attentive and Lupita’s food was delicious!!! Also, host was very responsive to all communication sent. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay. From the minute we arrived, the team was ready to show us around and help get our bags to the right rooms. Food was delicious and the house staff were so attentive but also unobtrusive at the same time. All of us enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing trip!

From the moment we walked in we knew this would be a vacation like no other! The Villa is a dream - open spaces, incredible views, fantastic decorations…everywhere you look it just gets better! The locations is perfect too. Close enough to walk to town and yet far enough away that it felt like its own world. The staff are so wonderful that one of our 16 year old boys asked what we could do to thank them. Miguel, Carlos, Isela and Tony went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and taken care of at all times. Chef Carlos prepared beautiful and delicious meals worthy of a 5 star restaurant every single night! (We had a contest to see who gained the most weight when we got home and our teenagers said they can no longer eat Mexican food in the US b/c it’s not the same.) Miguel helped plan activities, taxies, meals, etc. This is the first vacation that we all came back truly relaxed and feeling like we had been some place magical! We cannot wait to go back!

Our third visit to Amapas South, we love it. Miguel and team are wonderful, always looking to make our stay better.

We stayed in Villa Amapas South with 6 adults and 3 teens right before Christmas this year. It was a thoroughly enjoyable vacation. The property is beautiful - gorgeous pool views and just overall a fantastic property. The main level master was ideal for my mom and dad...especially my mom who didn't do well with stairs. The elevator was perfect for her! Each of us 3 couples had our own master bedroom. The only thing we weren't expecting was for the 4th bedroom to be accessed through the kitchen and up so many flights of stairs - but our kids stayed up there and it was fine. The staff here went above and beyond. Miguel, the house manager, was always dropping in to be sure we had what we needed as well as helping with meals throughout the day. Lupita, the chef, was delightful and made us some very delicious meals. She is awesome! Carlos was great at assisting all around and always made sure we had drinks in our hands while we were poolside. And Rosa cleaned the property every day and even did laundry! Then she would bring the laundry back to the room folded. You really can't ask for a better staff. We could walk down to the Romantic Zone in about 20 minutes along the beach. We also took transportation arranged by our staff multiple times to some of our favorite restaurants. We would highly recommend this property!

This place was a 10/10, amazing, incredible and already can’t wait to go back. Lupita, Carlos, Tony and Miguel were so accommodating. We were traveling with 3 babies, 1 toddler and 2 kids and they did everything to make our stay easy, providing high chairs, pack and plays, making different food etc. The villa itself was gorgeous and breathtaking. So glad we stayed at this place!

This vacation by far was the most spectacular experience I have had. The staff could have not been friendlier. The facility was very immaculate and cleaned daily. The pictures online are exactly what you will get. Very roomy and very organized. Food and cooking was top-notch. I have been to all inclusive resorts several times over the years. Never again will I go to an all inclusive. Having your own staff wait on you hand and foot all day long is the only way to go. I will definitely be back for years to come with my family to this same Villa.

This is one of the best vacations I have ever taken! If I could give 10 stars I would! The staff and customer service was beyond exceptional- think Ritz level. Extremely personalized, kind, going out of their way to ensure you were having a good time, were comfortable and always taken care of. Lupita, Carlos, Rosa, and Tony were phenomenal and I have to say we had a tough time saying goodbye. The house itself is better than what's pictured if you can imagine that. Everything exceeded our already very high expectations coming in and we will absolutely be back. One thing I will warn you with- mosquitos!!! OFF bug spray is not enough- make sure to bring Repel or another bug spray that has more deet! They're around all hours of the day.

It was a fantastic stay. Miguel, Lupita, Tony, and the whole staff were incredible. It was probably the best trip we have ever had and we would love to come back again sometime. The food was wonderful, the view from the villa at sunset is remarkable, nothing but praise!

We stayed for a week with our family and our children. The house is just as described and even better in person! The staff during our stay made the experience so memorable for us! We were able to prearrange plans ahead of time and also had support during our trip. We are already planning on returning next year!

Villa Amapas was an absolute dream! The view is spectacular, the house is fantastic and the on site staff were wonderful. My family and I had the most incredible time at this Villa. It is beautiful and has the most amazing staff! We cant wait to come back.

Villas Amapas South is more than wonderful. The home is bigger than imagined from photos. The location is better than described (it is just down the stairs to the beach and a 1.5 mile rocky beach walk or so to downtown). And best of all …the house staff with amazing meals, rides, laundry etc such a dreamy treat! We stayed in this home for extended family trip with 8 people from teens to 80 years old and everyone loved this home!! Don’t hesitate… book!

10/10 recommend booking Villa Amapas! We were a group of 8 adults and 4 babies and the staff could not have been more wonderful or accommodating. The actual villa itself is incredibly clean and spacious (better than the photos!), the outdoor space and the pool are perfect and it's only steps to the beach. The meals and hospitality were amazing. Miguel, Carlos, Lupita and Rosa made our vacation one that we will never forget and we can't wait to return soon!

If you're debating booking this place, I recommend taking the leap and just booking it. It's the best vacation decision we've made! The villa itself is spacious, clean, has AC in each room, and the location is breathtaking with the infinity pool looking out over the ocean. There's beach access, and shopping is less than a 10 min drive away. Miguel, Lupita, Tony, and Carlos made our stay especially memorable. The staff was helpful and always willing to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Every day the villa was cleaned spotless. They accommodated three babies by providing a crib, playpens, highchairs, and pool toys. Meals were plentiful and very delicious. We're already planning our next trip to this location!

This was the best vacation experience we have ever had. It's difficult to describe what a wonderful experience this was. First of all, the staff was AMAZING. It would not have been the same without them. Miguel did all of the shopping and tending to our everyday needs. Carlos made the best drinks and helped with dinners and so many other things we didn't see, and our chef Octavio was truly talented. We couldn't believe the wonderful spread of meals he made for us, and was so accommodating with our requests. The staff worked around the clock to be helpful, including the delightful night security guard, Tony. We will miss them and hope to return soon. The house was sparkling clean and perfectly maintained. It contained all of the creature comforts necessary for a comfortable stay, and many more. The maid was lovely and also did our laundry which was a nice bonus. The rooms were comfortable, large, and had a very nice working A/C system which we enjoyed at night to sleep given it could be quite warm in the evenings. The pool and view is second to none. There are stairs down to a little beach which was perfectly adequate but almost not needed given how gorgeous the pool and house was. The house is near a fun district, and only $1-$2 Uber ride away, making it perfectly situated. We didn't want to leave. I don't think we will ever be able to top this experience, and therefore we cannot recommend this place more. We can't wait to return and greatly appreciate what an incredible experience it was.

This experience has reset my vacationing experience. The Villa exceeded my expectations. The staff was exceptional. I felt pampered the entire time I was at the Villia. The ambiance was beautiful, the pictures do not show the beauty of the Villa. I felt like I was in a personal tropical paradise. All the rooms are an abundant size, bathrooms are very spacious, rooms opened to a beautiful ocean view. Every morning I awoke to the sound of waves on the ocean. The entire set-up was perfect. My favorite part of the Villa was the common area with huge windows opening to the patio area and an infinity pool that overlooked the ocean. I am not too much of a pool person, but the pool was so inviting and relaxing I spent most of my time floating around and just relaxing. Miguel, Lupita, Carlos and Tony provided for our every need. The food and service was amazing. It will be hard to find another vacation experience like Villa Ampas. If you are looking for a vacation spot to accommodate a large group and you want to relax, this is the place to vacation. I would also like to thank Vincent, who helped us book the vacation and was available and timely with all of our requests and questions.

Staff was amazing! The location was great, close enough to town to walk, or a short Uber. Beach right in front was quite lovely and the water was beautiful. The villa was quite well designed and had a great layout, with a very lovely feel.

We had an awesome trip! Amazing location and the service was wonderful. There was a team consisting of a chef, 2 butlers and a maid daily along with a night guard. We will definitely be back soon!!!
