The hosts provided excellent service As for the accommodation, only the layout in the upper part is inconvenient. Going outside to have access to the shower or to use the toilet, since we went on rainy days.

Itzel was a great communicator from the beginning. She gave me written instructions as well as pictures to help me navigate things throughout the home. There was more than enough room for our family and we felt right at home. It was close to restaurants, cafes, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

I found the location of the house in downtown Oaxaca to be excellent, and it is in a very quiet, private area. The host was very friendly. She left everything very clean for us, with amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen that made our stay enjoyable.

We attended a wedding in Oaxaca and stayed for a week. Itzel was very kind, my grandfather arrived very early and she allowed us to enter at 10:00 am. She was always attentive to what we needed, recommending places to eat and whatever she could help with. We had the absolute most perfect stay at Itzel's home. We were a group of 7 - a mother/daughter trip to Oaxaca and everyone had a great time. The house was spacious; the rooms were beautiful; living area cozy; kitchen had everything we needed and Itzel kindly started us off with 3 large bottles of drinking water. The house was centrally located - 10 min walk to EVERYTHING we wanted to do! Itzel kept in touch with us and responded to any question or need we had in a timely and kind manner. We had a great time visiting friends in Oaxaca and having this beautiful house and Itzel as our host only added to the magic of Oaxaca. I highly recommend staying there for all families or larger groups of friends. Thank you Itzel!!!

The stay was excellent, since the house provided the comforts, making us feel like we were in our own home with all the services and amenities. The hosts were very friendly and always attentive during our stay, helping with questions and supporting us. The location of the house is safe and central.

My stay in this house was excellent. From the first moment, communication with the hosts was quick, clear and very friendly. The house was impeccable, exactly as shown in the photos, and even better. Every detail of the place shows care: clean spaces, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and very nice common areas. Everything worked perfectly and the atmosphere was so comfortable that I really felt at home. The location is very good, check-in was easy and the host was always available if we needed anything. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay. I would love to go back.

Had a great stay, very walkable to the centro. It took a little getting used to how to turn on the water boiler and stuff, but overall it was doable. I really liked the electrical lock, made it so easy for our group to enter and leave without a physical key. Peaceful. Has 1 parking inside and 1 parking in front of the house, but the street parking nearby seemed doable too.

We had a lovely stay in Oaxaca. I appreciated that the house is located on a quiet private street, but just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants, markets, and sights to see in the city.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was in a great location, close enough to walk to everything, but far enough from the noise to relax. Communication was incredible, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Itzel place was amazing! And she and her family were even better hosts! We felt right at home and we felt safe. The place is awesome and near a lot of places to eat and do. It is also near a market that I think is a bit better than 20 de Noviembre market and near el centro. The place was clean and very spacious for a family of 11 like we were. I would definitely comeback again and I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. They treated us very well and again such great hosts and such a great home to stay at. Thanks again Itzel and family for everything you guys made our stay very pleasant and safe!

It's close to the whole center, super well located, there are several places to eat very good food less than 3 blocks away, the place is quiet and private, you can walk to the cathedral etc. The host's service was excellent

This was a nice place to stay. we felt at home, clean, well equipped and close to downtown. Messages to hosts were quickly delivered and responded. loved the place and will definitely go back and recommend the place.

Great location, host was very helpful and quick to respond. Only downside is house has no A/C so if you get hot easily you might want to find other accommodations. Despite the heat we still enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation is very conveniently located, allowing you to walk through the center of Oaxaca on foot. It's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood despite being downtown.

The house is located close to many things, the downtown area is about a 10 min walk. There is a mercado within a 2 min walk and nice coffee shop too. The house met all our needs as we were a big group. If you are traveling in the high of summer I would consider that there only fans and the upstairs rooms get pretty hot being that they get all the day sun. In the beginning of March it was bearable but not sure how much hotter it gets in other months. The house comes equipped with a towel for each guest which is nice to not have to pack a towel. The downstairs kitchen comes with all the things needed to cook meals there. The place even comes with its own private parking however if you have a large van like we did it might not clear the roof therefore we parked out in front of the house which is still a private area. Itzel is a very responsive and communicative host! We would definitely stay again

Had a wonderful stay at Itzel’s! Great location, and the pictures served as a great representation of the house. Would recommend to anyone heading to Oaxaca in a large group.

Great for our family of 9. Loved how easy it was to walk everywhere and even go "home" to rest or pick up something and then go out again. Located in a pleasant little private courtyard with other houses. Itzel was an amazing host. Extremely helpful when we had a question. But we didn't realize the upstairs 3 bedrooms on the terrace are reached by a simple metal staircase in the open garage. To access those bedrooms and their bathrooms you do go outside and up the metal stairs. It was not the choice for us grandparents who preferred the downstairs bedrooms. Also wished the neighbor dogs didn't bark periodically at night. This, I suppose, is a problem hard to avoid in Oaxaca City. But we used earplugs that helped. Simple, pleasant, comfortable rental in a great location and at a great price. Many thanks, Itzel. We had a great stay.

Itzel was very quick in responding. We were able to walk to the zocalo in less than 20 min. Taxis and bus were readily available to take us wherever we needed to go. Will definitely consider staying here again.

This place is perfectly located right outside of the city center. Itzel was a great host and was extremely responsive and a great communicator. We would love to be back some day!

Excellent location! Very close to downtown's top restaurants, coffees, and cultural centers! Itzel was very attentive and responded very quickly and in a kind and effective way to all our doubts and questions. It even helped us locate interesting cultural sites we went to visit. If they go in summer, take away repellent because there are many mosquitoes and the windows of the house do not have mosquito nets. The house in general is very clean, but since it is the center and again, especially because of the summer heat, it is normal for them to encounter some insects in the house. If they go for a long period (we were a month), I recommend hiring extra cleaning with Itzel to the included to reduce the presence of insects in the house (we hired a cleaning every weekend).

Itzel was so communicative during our entire stay I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and recommendations. She was flexible with check in and my family really enjoyed the privacy of the street in front of the home. It is on a private street not on them main street so it felt safe. The house is a 6 min walk to Santo Domingo Church. The coffee spot nearby Pan Con Madre was amazing for coffee and bread in the morning! There is no AC so it was pretty humid and hot in the house. Fans are provided which helped a ton. Three rooms are downstairs in the main house and the other three are upstairs accessible by a stair case in the garage. I loved that Itzel provided drinkable water to us. There is a washing tub upstairs and clothesline so you can hand wash your clothes and hang them dry. As far as noise, there is a hostel a couple blocks over that hosts karaoke and loud music on their roof top patio but it didn’t affect us too much. Overall would stay here again!

Wonderful host!! House is well equipped and we were provided lots of filtered water which was such a relief with the heat! Itzel was amazing helping us with airport taxi suggestions and having contacts for incredible group tours to get the most out of our time in the incredible Oaxaca. Primo location in a quiet street/shared drive. highly recommend.

The stay is very central, you can leave the car and walk to all the resorts what is around, the rooms clean and with towels, soap and toilet paper, Itzel communicated with me days before arrival to spend the location of the stay and the day of arrival from very early to give me more directions, so we had no problem finding the stay, she was also attentive during all the days we were there, she also communicated with me when leaving. He recommended places and the private place where the stay is very quiet, if it is worth staying in their stay.

The house is very well located, very close to the Guelaguetza auditorium, about 15 minutes from downtown and very close to the Temple of Santo Domingo, where the tourist walkway begins and you can find many things. Fantastic location! Two blocks from an amazing open market with delicious food. A short walk downtown. A basic and simple accommodation, but a bargain, with comfortable beds, and a VERY communicative host. She made us an extra set of keys when we needed it. Note: any cab driver you use needs to be told the cross streets -- there is a possibility they might think you are going somewhere else. But that was quickly remedied. And Oaxaca is the bomb!
