Beautiful home, amazingly decorated, felt cozy with many settings in the home to gather together. Great, friendly host and staff who met our every need. All nine of us felt spoiled! Steps away from centro!

OMG!! Casa Proserpina delivers! It is stunning. It is well-managed. Every need has been anticipated. The location is superb. Hadley helped with restaurant reservations and a special birthday taco party. Truly could not have been a better experience.

Can't recommend this place enough! It was beautifully decorated, very clean and had all the amenities and then some. Hadley was very responsive and one of the best hosts I have ever communicated with. She went above and beyond to provide recommendations and set us up with a breakfast at the airbnb which I highly recommend doing. The Airbnb was centrally located and in an excellent place for shopping and restaurants.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Proserpina. The house was absolutely beautiful and in an ideal location. The perfect mix of indoor and outdoor spaces gave us plenty of options. Despite being right in the middle of the action, the house was really peaceful and a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town. To top it all off, Hadley was an amazing host. She was incredibly responsive before and during our trip, had amazing suggestions for restaurants and experiences, and made sure we always felt comfortable and had what we needed. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough.

‘Fabulous’ is the word to describe this place. It feels like a story book setting. Way more prettier than the pictures. Hadley was super responsive and helpful. Would love to come back to this beautiful house.

Hadley and her team were amazing! From arrival to departure, it was such a delight. Hadley was right waiting right by the road as I drove in to direct me. Her team was there to get our bags and walk us to the house. So, the house... Wow. It was an oasis in the middle of the pueblo. The location was perfect. Every night we would hang out in the plaza and dance to mariachi music. Yeah, we had them play La Chona a few times. Hadley was so helpful in making reservations for us as well. One less thing to worry about. But what really knocked it out of the park were the options she had for us. The massages, the Taco Dinner, and the morning breakfast were superb. My family has decided that this would not be the last time we visit Casa Proserpina. So, if you are looking to visit this beautiful home... do it and you will be happy you did.

Our family absolutely loved Casa Proserpina! Our days started with a leisurely breakfast cooked by the staff at the house for us. Hadley recommended restaurants for lunch and dinner and also offered to make the reservations for us. The selections were perfect. The accommodations at Casa Proserpina were first class, and the views from the top floor were amazing. There is not a single detail missed. The location is also perfect. We were able to walk to everything we did. Everyone in our family cannot wait to go back. Casa Proserpina is not to be missed if you are traveling to San Miguel!

Casa Proserpina is absolutely gorgeous. I almost don’t want to say that because I don’t want to let the secret out! The photos do not even represent the beauty of this place. Everywhere you look is absolute eye candy. And in terms of comfort, it’s so much better than any five star hotel. You have the luxury of your own spacious grand residence right in the middle of San Miguel De Allende. The location could not be more perfect! And our host, Hadley was available to assist with the best restaurants, shopping and anything else you might need. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Casa Proserpina is. We are looking forward to our return.♥️

My birthday girls weekend at Casa Properina was one I'll never forget. Hadley has outfitted her home with everything imaginable. Beautiful furnishings and fixtures along with all the necessary things for the kitchen and bathrooms. You will not want to stay anywhere else. She was an amazing hostess, has impeccable taste and checked in a few times to make sure all was going well. I have never had such a caring hostess. Can't wait to come back to Casa Properina! If I could I would be there right this second.

Casa Proserpina was an exceptional experience from the perfectly curated art in the house, to the carefully thought out experiences offered by Hadley. The entire place was wonderful and in the most desirable location. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was incredibly helpful and informative, and Hadley was the perfect host. I have never stayed at an Airbnb with such a responsive and attentive host! Hadley answered all of our questions in a timely way and helped coordinate exceptional events (mezcal tasting and dinner at casa Proserpina). We would all love to come back asap!

We loved this house! We cannot wait to go back. Everything was perfect. The staff was amazing, very nice and polite. Helped with all our needs and went above and beyond. Casa Proserpina is such an amazing place to stay and the location is great. You can walk everywhere! You are steps away from the plaza and the catedral. The shops located in the same street are awesome too. We really loved the fact that the house is perfectly cleaned, and the decor is so fun! Every single “casita” has its own charm. The owner is so nice and loved that she visited us before we left. We really want to go back!

This house is absolutely gorgeous and even prettier in person! It is spacious and clean and every single area is decorated beautifully. It is stocked with everything you can need and more. Hadley and the staff are so very friendly, helpful, and nice to take care of anything you may want or need. The location is great too! Highly recommend this lovely house!!

Casa Proserpina was the most magical villa for my 60th birthday weekend! Hadley's sophisticated taste and her attention to every detail is impeccable. She knows exactly how to create a very curated, warm and cozy environment. The historic casa's renovation is pure luxury. Hadley took care of our every whim making our entire trip seamless. For breakfast, there's a wonderful pastry shop right next door....but the biggest treat was when the staff made us breakfast in the Casa. Her staff is professional and personal all led by her wonderful house manager, Jorge. Hadley made all our reservations at the best rooftop restaurants. The Casa is located in the most beautiful part of this historic area of San Miguel De Allende. You walk right out the door and you're in the heart of it all, yet when you're inside the walls of the Casa you hear nothing...except for the church bells! San Miguel De Allende in itself is wonderful, and I would never be able to stay anywhere else...so looking forward to returning! Thank you, Monet Storkersen

Casa Proserpina more than lives up to the high rating previous people made. We spent 10 days over Christmas with 8 family members and it couldn’t have been. The staff Ernesto, Rocio, Raquel, Margie and Jorge were all in call making meals, cleaning the five bedrooms and making sure the many plants were properly cared for. With five bedrooms, each family had privacy while several common area worked beautifully for total family assemblies. Having rented 5 or 6 times over several years in San Miguel, I think Casa Proserpina is one of the top rentals in lovely San Miguel de Allende…..truly top notch and hence 5 stars

We have rented at least 5 different homes in SMA. Casa Proserpina will be are go to place going forward. A few highlights: 1.) the location is unparalleled just 300 feet from the main square and 600 feet from the Parroqia and all the top restaurants, galleries and shops, 2.) the bedding and linens were suburb, Gucci, Potter Barn, Hermes to name a few brands and 3.) 5 staff members for about 3-4hrs a day is more than we have ever had in previous stays. (We rented the entire house and were a total of 10 guests.)

Not only is this house the most beautiful piece or art you will ever experience, but Hadley and her team are the most accommodating and wonderful people. I enjoyed every second of my stay during my wedding weekend.

There are no words to describe the magic of Casa Prosperina - the house is impeccable, with beauty in every corner and the best location. Hadley is the most wonderful host, and her exquisite attention to detail throughout the house is truly amazing. She also helped us organize just about anything we needed: massages, manicures, transportation, restaurant reservations. We will definitely be back to her stunning house.

Luxury, details, first-class service and an unforgettable house. There are always things to do, terraces, patios, games or just enjoy the excellent location to get to the best places to have fun or eat without walking more than 5 min.

Absolutely fabulous, there is no comparison, the spectacular house is over 200 years old and is incredibly remodeled, the house has 5 incredibly decorated bedrooms, 2 of them even with a kitchen and living room, it has a roof garden with a spectacular view, Hadley attended us with first class service, he recommended very local and special places and helped us with reservations, the attention in the house was unparalleled, 2 service people, a gardener and a chef all very friendly, the house could not be better located, just half a block from the central square, definitely the best option for a group of 7 to 10 people

Pictures of the house don’t do it’s justice. What makes it OUTSTANDING is actually staying there. You will have the best experience because you will definitely get first class service! Hadley will make sure you are well taken care of. Casa Proserpina service is like no other. Mandarin Oriental gets blown away.

What an amazing house, in an amazing location, hosted by an amazing person! From the start, Hadley was extremely responsive and accommodating with absolutely every question and detail we needed help with. She is dialed in when it comes to San Miguel and I highly recommend you chat with her about where to eat and what to do! She made suggestions and even helped with scheduling art tours, transportation, and dinner reservations. For an extra special experience, ask about having a catered meal at the house. We did this, for a group of 8, and it really was one of the highlights of the trip.

I highly recommend this property. It's location is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy San Miguel de Allende, less than 1 minute walk to the main square on a quiet pedestrian street. The property itself is spacious, and very well decorated, very stylish with a lot of personal touches. And to round things off, Hadley was constantly available prior and during our stay to make things go smoothly, fast efficient check in, restaurants recommendations, and other local tips. By far the best Airbnb I have stayed in, a home away from home.

This HOUSE!!! While the photos online are gorgeous, they do not begin to do justice to the majestic beauty of this place. When my family of ten first walked through the front door, there were audible gasps. Yes, it’s that striking. And, while the house’s beauty envelops you right away, we were still noticing details up to the moment we left after a week in San Miguel de Allende. Our group consisted of five couples and a baby. The layout was perfect for us as each casita and bedroom is private while also being easily accessible to several common spaces. My family would gather in one of the courtyards or the main living room with a fireplace for hours at a time. Some of us would escape to the rooftop patio to gaze at the beautiful church steeples in the distance and toast the beautiful San Miguel weather. And, while I cannot say enough about how beautiful this house is, the entire experience with the host (Hadley) and staff is what set Casa Proserpina apart. Hadley is an absolute gem and helped make our time easier and even more remarkable. From the very beginning when we were just browsing for a house to the moment we booked to the day we arrived to the day we left, Hadley was there to help us every step of the way. She is extremely thorough, easy to contact, super-accommodating, and just a lovely person all around. We communicated for a couple of months before our trip down and she anticipated pretty much everything and made excellent recommendations, so when we arrived, we could just relax and enjoy. We spent (American) Thanksgiving week at the house and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hadley connected us with a chef who designed a menu for us and accommodated a very picky group with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. We chose to have traditional Mexican food (yes), and it was to die for! I could go on for pages about our experience there. We truly felt it was our home away from home…except way more beautiful! We cannot wait to be back!

Hadley's home is so incredibly beautiful, serene, and old world that my guests and I found it difficult to leave. She is across the cobblestone street from an amazing Mexican bakery, next door is Taco Lab (try the mushroom tacos), and lots of amazing shops (the wooden wing shop on Codo Street), restaurants and adventures. Best of all the front door is a 30-second walk to the heart of the town - El Jardin - which brings the colonial town together with street vendors, mariachis, and the most magnificent cathedral. My guests and I shopped, dined, and had the most interesting late night conversations around Hadley's dining room table which opens up to her patio. Our word for the three nights we spent there was "magical" and we all felt as if we fell back in time to a magical era when leisurely dinners, strolling, fresh pastries out of the oven, church bells, and kindness were the norm. Hadley is super helpful with booking drivers from Leon to her home and her staff is gracious and attentive. I stayed in Casa Fuego and loved that I had privacy and access to the rooftop terrace. My guests enjoyed the other four beautifully decorated bedrooms and bathrooms and all committed that the home inspired them to redecorate their homes back in the USA. Casa Prosperina was the backdrop to my 60th Birthday Celebration and my friends and I envy anyone who rents her home. We are planning to return soon!

Extremely relaxing, authentic and nicely decorated property with lot of space, nice water features and exteriors on one of the best locations in town just steps from parroquia, plaza ,shops and restaurants.
