Sapphire Beach is amazing ! The view from Chucks place was worth every penny. We knew about the road, but knowing and experiencing are very different . The staff were ALL warm and welcoming. We felt safe and secure there . We had a few issues such as the fridge wasn’t working the first night and most of the next day . Staff found us another one asap . The washer/dryer isn’t working but the resort washed and folded our clothes for no fee, which was much appreciated . We wonder when the last time Chuck and his wife have been there . Even though the kitchen is well stocked, everything is pretty old and in need of replacement. Same could be said for the bed. I loved the shower space, but again things are in need of repair ; shower head is clogged and old. It must be difficult for the owners being so far away to properly manage the place . We fully understand. Belize was a dream ! We would definitely recommend to family and friends . Melissa & Michael

We had a few hiccups but Chuck was responsive. Some of this was out of his control, but I do think the staff at the condo complex needs to better communicate with Chuck. They were confused when we checked in with 5 pp. I wasn't sure if they were going to allow it because they said it was for 2 pp. They ended up getting the condo ready for 5, but we had to twice ask for blankets and towels. The Internet was terribly slow and we couldn't stream anything. The front desk said there was a private Wifi but they didn't know the password. Don't expect to be able to do a zoom call until the private wifi is available. Chuck recd a tour provider but he was booked so we talked to the staff. They talked to us about options but said they could save us some money because they had "a guy". We went with the guy and saved $10 pp ... but they were almost 90 mins late, the boat was unsafe, and they didn't even take us to Mexican Rocks bc they weren't a registered tour. Staff got us $15pp refunded.
