My family felt very comfortable. They had their privacy. Every family that went felt very comfortable. The children were very happy because they had all kinds of games for them, whether in the pool or outside. There were board games, and we were so comfortable that we didn't want to go back. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful villa.

Tayrona became one of my favorite places. The villa is charming and it definitely wouldn't be the same without all the staff who are ready to make sure everything goes great. Thank you for giving me a few days of peace and happiness

If you are thinking about booking this place, just do it! The villa is beautiful, the pool is so fun, and Elly and her team are amazing people who have thought of every detail to make your stay wonderful. We stayed with a big group and they made sure each and every one of us were comfortable. The chef-provided dinners were incredible, Alex was a great host, and the overall experience was one of the most memorable trips I’ve had in a very long time!!

I would highly recommend this wonderful oasis. Elly was extremely helpful and responsive. It is very evident she takes great care to make sure your vacation is well planned with clear communication and responsive planning help. Working out meals and activities ahead of time was wonderful as it made for a very relaxing time while at the villa. The property itself is designed with such care and intention. Beautiful local artwork, thoughtful spaces for both privacy and common hang out spaces. The beds were very comfortable and rooms had great ac. Alejandro was an incredible daily host/bartender & help during our stay. He was friendly, addressed our entire group by name and was helpful arranging rides and activities. The food that Fernando, the chef, prepared exceeded our expectations. The entire staff was so so good. We do an annual extended family trip and this one will go down as one of the favorites for sure!! Thank you Elly, Alejandro, Fernando, Enrique, Gabby, Isabella and all.

I chose Elly's place for my 50th ladies getaway and it was incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure that myself and every one of the guests was treated to the most attentive and relaxing experience. The villa itself is absolutely stunning and the grounds are lush and perfectly manicured. We engaged chef services for several meals and they were all absolutely delicious. I really could not give them higher marks for service or the villa itself, everything was so thoughtful... the rooms all feature different local art pieces and the pool was perfect. If you have a chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed, it was completely fabulous.

As I sit at home, in my post-vacation glow, I cannot say enough good things about Villa Tayrona. Every single detail was thoughtfully addressed, from the host meeting us at the villa for a welcome tour to the house staff's daily attentive care. It is clear that all of the staff care about their guests' comfort and enjoyment! The space is an oasis - each room was comfortable and private and the common areas had plenty of space to hang out, relax, or enjoy the pool. We loved the plethora of native plants and local artwork throughout the property. Finally, the neighborhood provided a real slice of life in Bucerias with fantastic food options, shopping, and close proximity to the beach. Thank you, Elly and staff, for making our vacation everything that it was!

This was the best Airbnb experience my family and I have ever experienced. The hospitality is UNMATCHED. Elly and her team are so thoughtful. There’s an AC sensor that detects when there is no movement in the rooms (wasn’t an issue when you’re sleeping) & she had it shut off in all rooms we had babies in. It was such a thoughtful touch. Elly coordinated my dream bachelorette spa day with a team of masseuses & facialists and they exceeded not only mine but all of my friends and family’s expectations. Alex prepared snacks & drinks everyday and most of the time without even asking! We loved it! We hired the chef services for the morning of our wedding and it was such AMAZING food and made our wedding morning with our families so special and stress free. Her cleaning staff ironed not only my wedding dress, but most of our groomsmen shirts and it was so amazing!!! Elly was flexible with all the visitors we had coming in and out making it such a fun week to spend with friends & fam!

The perfect group vacation villa! We stayed at Villa Tayrona for my 40th birthday celebration. There were 23 of us in total, including several young kids (ages 6 months to 5 years), and the villa was absolutely perfect. When you're inside the villa you feel like you're in another world. The layout is ideal for groups. Everyone has their own private space while still enjoying shared areas like the pool, lobby, and terrace to gather. Alex made delicious margaritas and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable (and well hydrated) throughout our stay. Chef Fernando and his team were incredible, every meal was fantastic. I highly recommend adding his chef services to your stay. Elly has created a truly special oasis. Her passion for the villa is evident in all the thoughtful details throughout the space. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!

This place is by far the best place I have ever stayed at in Mexico and me and the group who went travel there a lot. It is not just an AirBNB it is an oasis. I went for my bachelorette party and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to stay. Everyone went above and beyond for us in every possible way. Elly the host was amazing and added personal touches because she knew it was my bachelorette and wanted to make it special . We did dinner every night with the chef and every meal was more than we could imagine. Alex the house attendant was so professional and attended to us for everything we needed. The entire staff was exquisite and kind and made this an unforgettable time. We dis not want to leave but can’t wait to go back!

Expectations were high but we can attest that it deserves every single one of its 5-star ratings. Upon arrival, Elly, the owner, made us feel completely at home with her warm and welcoming hospitality. The villa is a tranquil oasis—private and perfectly set up to give each guest their own space while still feeling connected to the beautiful surroundings. The service provided by Alex was exceptional; attentive without being intrusive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The many meals prepared by the chefs were nothing short of incredible, making every dining experience a highlight of the stay. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with top-tier service, delicious food, and a host who truly cares about your experience, VT is the perfect choice. We would return in a heartbeat. The most immaculate place we been to. And we been early AirBnb users. The property is in perfect condition with the most amazing staff Alex is a fantastic bartender and always ready to help. Chef Fer is worth every penny. Delicious, healthy and creative Cleaning staff kept the place pristine with daily cuttings of different flowers from the home garden

This was the perfect spot for our group of 15 celebrating a 40th birthday—everyone loved it. The villas are beautiful with so many thoughtful details, and the common areas were perfect for hanging out as a group. Elly was super friendly and responsive, making our group dinners, yoga class, and spa day easy to book and coordinate. Would absolutely stay here again!

We were looking for a place to host our end of year company retreat and were stumped until we found Villa Tayrona. It was the perfect size and space for our creative team of 10. What we didn't know was that we'd also get an incredible host and guide in Elly as well as an equally stellar staff to support us. Elly worked with us closely in planning out every detail of our retreat from chef prepared meals to daily excursions. Her and her team helped us with everything from making snacks for the team, doing our grocery shopping, arranging transport etc. On top of that, everything in the villa is beautifully and intentionally curated - from the artisanal touches to the stories behind everything from the art to the plants. Such a gem - can't wait to be back!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Elly's place was incredible! It was surely a quiet pristine urban oasis -- and just one block away from an incredible taco stand. Alejandro and the rest of the staff were amazing. The meals were exquisite -- we had some bomb chilaquiles and huevos revueltos. The local fruits and yogurt and granola were amazing too! We were a group of 25 -- with 10 children (7 under 6 yo!) and the place felt like the perfect spot to accommodate cleanliness and safety for the children together with SO MUCH fun at the pool! They even had floaties, sand toys, yoga mats, yoga blocks, beach umbrellas. Truly there was nothing we could have asked for! Elly was also super responsive and made excellent recommendations on restaurants and boating trips alike!

Amazing venue for a large group. We took our extended family of 22 for a "once in a lifetime" family vacation. Elly and staff were attentive to every detail. From the beautiful greenery to the local art, the villa property creates a peaceful tropical oasis. The beautiful pictures in the listing don't do it justice. The staff had everything all ready including the food that we preordered waiting in the massive kitchen. The pool was very refreshing and a kid favorite. We did utilize the chef services for several meals and that was also incredible. The food was high end restaurant quality that accommodated all of our dietary requirements. The group also all really liked the pastries from the coffee shop and the pastor taco restaurant, both right on the corner. Although there is really no reason to leave the villa, it would be a shame to miss out on everything Bucerias has to offer. From the beautiful beach and ocean swims to restaurants and shops there is truly something for everyone.

This is not just a stay, it’s an experience. Do not miss it!! The pictures of this beautiful villa do not do it justice. The rooms are private and peaceful and most have their own kitchenette. They are well appointed and luxurious. The landscaping on the grounds makes everything feel private. The common areas at the pool, bar and dining patio are also stunning. We stayed with a party of 18 of ages ranging from 9 to 77 and everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed it thoroughly. Elly welcomed us with a graceful tour and was responsive the entire trip. Alex is the best!! He was there for whatever we needed, from the yummiest guacamole and salsa to pina coladas (even virgins for the kids) to local recommendations. The private chef was amazing-gourmet food made and served onsite with thoughtful accommodations for food restrictions. One of the chef’s staff also does surf lessons which half of our party did and highly recommend. This villa is about a 7 min walk to a beautiful beach.

Elly’s place is fabulous! My group and I had a fantastic time here and Elly, Alex and dream went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They helped to make sure things were baby proofed for our little ones, provided toys, helped find babysitters, made snacks and drinks and provided great local recommendations. Everything chef Fernando cooked was delicious. Highly recommend booking here if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway for a large group.

Villa Tayrona was our very own slice of paradise in Bucerias! The Villa was magical - it had everything to accommodate our intergenerational party of 20+ friends and family. From children's toys for the pool, the chef made meals and freshly made agua frescas by Alex, to quiet bungalows for napping and relaxing, it offered our group countless pleasantries during our stay. Elly and her staff were sincere, responsive and timely and made our party truly a special celebration by offering recommendations for all our adventures while in the Puerto Vallarta area. We will definitely be returning to Villa Tayrona!

Absolutely stunning!! This place was the perfect spot to host my small wedding. The luxurious feel and attention to detail rivals even the St. Regis, and I dare say surpassed them just with the very attentive staff and that attention to detail. Every guest in attendance told me that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen. I fully attribute this to Villa Tayrona. The property alone really stole the show. The owner Elly was helpful and friendly and really worked with me to make sure my wedding day was a huge success. I’ve had the privilege of staying at many Airbnbs over the years, and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. While the villa itself is stunning, it was really the service from the entire Tayrona team that made this stay unforgettable. From start to finish, Elly and her team were incredibly responsive, clear in their communication, and went above and beyond to make us feel pampered throughout our vacation. We were a group of 13 adults and 11 children, and every single person absolutely loved their time here. This is a very special place and you definitely want to book it!

I can't decide where to begin. From the moment we stepped through the front door, greeted by Alex and Cece with spicy margaritas in hand, to the teary goodbyes on our final day, everything was spectacular. We were in Bucerias for a small family wedding, and Villa Tayrona could not have been more perfect for our group of 20. The property is so stunning with gorgeous and well-maintained landscaping. Each room was so beautiful, with wonderful amenities and incredibly comfortable beds (some of our guests who are typically early risers found themselves sleeping in). We absolutely loved the pool and most days were centered around hanging out together there. The shared spaces were so lovely and ideal for our group. Every guest commented not only on the visual magnificence of the space, but the impeccable layout for bringing our families together. (Several of our guests even started researching availability to bring their friend groups or extended family to Villa Tayrona.)

Villa Tayrona is mesmerizing from the moment you walk in the door. Lush, beautiful tropical landscaping surrounds a divinely delicious pool and takes you away from everything outside its front door. Layout of the lobby, common areas, and kitchen perfectly accent the pool and very private individual bungalows, which are all air conditioned, kitchen equipped and extremely comfortable. Artful decorations and beautiful furniture, coupled with the incredible attention to detail in all areas, make you never want to leave the villa. Then there is Alex who was so wonderful (excellent bartender and charcuterie maker). He made us feel like the most important people in the world! All of us (babies to grandparents) loved every moment we were there. The only note we would make is that to get to most of the good restaurants and local beaches you need to cross a major 4 way road. So we ended up going everywhere via taxis/vans which Alex arranged. We took vans to Sayulita and San Pancho as well. ❤️

This is an amazing property, the photos are great but the place in person is much more. I was always finding new things to love, from the artwork all around to the plants carefully picked and planted in just the right spot. This gave so much privacy and gave the feel of a much bigger place. The staff are all amazing, helpful and caring. Alex is a gem (I could go on and on) Elly was so helpful having thigs set up just right before we arrived. Elly and Alex both help us with restaurants, activities and much more. The amenities that are offered at the property was amazing as well. We had the chefs make us Breakfast one day and Dinner on another. They helped us get massages at the Villa. We had a cooking class there as well. The location is great for going into PV or heading north like we did to Sayulita and San Pancho. The location also have plenty of food in walking distance. This was a family trip for 18 of us ages 4 mo to 73. I wish I had more characters than 1000 Thank you Elly

Our week at this amazing Airbnb was in celebration of very special family birthdays. Elly's place was better than we even could have anticipated! The environment was spacious, allowing opportunities for time as a group as well as secluded enough for personal space and time. The landscaping, pool and decor were both casual and elegant. Plus local artisans were represented in each room. And last, but not least, we have been staying at Airbnbs for the past 14 years and Elly and her staff were the most friendly, attentive and accommodating that we have ever had. Our time there was not only a holiday but also a memory we will all cherish. So many thanks!

Without hesitation, we would stay again in Villa Tayrona, the place is beautiful and cozy, the spaces are spectacular. Elly is a great person, and all the staff are always super attentive, always willing to help with whatever was necessary, and to make us feel at home. There were 19 of us and we all left with an excellent experience, it was really an amazing few days.

Staying at Villa Tayrona definitely exceeded my expectations. Aesthetically I was blown away to say the least. It’s super clean and the pool surrounded by the mini palm trees is definitely a sight for sore eyes. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and very modern. The shower stall in the master suite is top notch to the point where you couldn’t wait to wash up. Elly and Andres were by far the nicest and most communicative hosts I’ve ever come across using the Airbnb service. Throughout the stay Elly and Andres constantly messaged me and my group to make sure everything is going the way it’s suppose to. They even went through the trouble to order us food when our arrival flight landed late and a lot of the local restaurants around us were closed. Honestly, there isn’t enough word capacity here to describe how amazing this place is. You would have to come here to experience it for yourself. If you come across this listing and pass it over for another place, you’ll deeply regret it.

Words can’t describe the experience we all had at Elly’s place. One of the BEST Air bnb’s we have stayed at. Elly was super responsive from start to finish ensuring every detail was accounted for. She and her staff made my 40th birthday truly one to remember. Alex (bartender/concierge/margarita master) was attentive and available at all times for any of our needs. Housekeeping made sure everything was clean and tidy each day. I recommend getting the chefs for a couple of meals as well as the massages ! Best massages ! I can’t say anything but good things about this experience and truly hope we have the opportunity to book with Elly again!

True Paradise! The pictures were beautiful but walking in to the Villa was over the top incredible. This is a space you must "feel" to truly understand the beauty. Every single thing from the day I booked to the day I left was above and beyond any experience I have had. It is exceptional on every level. The staff (who became family) were incredible, the food was perfection (there were 18 of us and not one complaint). Truly perfection from beginning to end. We will definitely be back. 5*'s isn't even close.

Elly and her staff couldn’t have been nicer! Lots of special extra’s including a welcome snack and drink. We stayed over Christmas and Elly always responded immediately, even on Christmas Eve. The location is in town but once you are inside it’s like a little oasis with lovely plantings around the pool and pathways. Our family loved it! It is about seven or eight blocks to the beach and means crossing a busy highway. Alex was great and always on hand providing smoothies and drinks. A wonderful place to stay.

Villa Tayrona has been the best airbnb experience (rental experience in general) I have ever had. 19 of us (including kids ranging in age 1-11) came to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it was unforgettable. First of all, the space is absolutely stunning- the artisan textiles, pottery and art is such a beautiful way to decorate the space. I appreciated that we all had our own separate spaces, yet several communal ones as well. I loved how they had the little things you would maybe forget to bring- pool/beach toys, floaties etc. Elly was the most attentive and helpful host- greeted with hugs and really cared about making us comfortable and that we had what we needed. Truly had a resort feel, yet you were able to walk outside and enjoy the local culture. Alex, Andrew and Ramses were the absolute best! Chef P and villa staff were also amazing- so much more to say, but to sum up, I hope very much to come back one day. Also- get an Uber to town/beach. Sooo much easier than the walk!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Tayrona in Buscerias. We had a group of 17 and everyone loved the villa, their accommodations and staff. We were met by Elly and Alex at the front door with a welcome drink. The villa is beautiful and every casita felt like home with amazing decor, beautiful showers and patios. We all loved Alex, his drinks and appetizers were the highlight of afternoons by the pool. He was so helpful recommending local restaurants and activities to visit while we were in Buscerias. The location has amazing restaurants, shopping and the beach is within walking distance. Villa Tayrona has beach chairs and unbrellas that can be taken down to the beach for a relaxing afternoon. We would highly recommend Villa Tayrona for your stay in Buscerias and look forward to returning again soon.

When we arrived Elly & Alex were there to greet us with refreshing drinks. Elly gave us a tour of the entire villa & all 21 of us were mesmerized by the attention to detail every room has. The villa looks beautiful in the pictures, but experiencing the space, it's different, and you appreciate it more. It is evident than every corner of the villa was made with great thought and heart. I selected this villa because I knew it would accommodate our group which included teenagers, parents and grandparents, and I wasn't wrong, everyone enjoyed their stay. I will point out that the beach is a few blocks away, and you have to cross a very busy road to get there, nonetheless it's a walkable distance. On a couple occasions we carried the beach gear that Elly has available. Elly, Alex and staff were great, always helpful with special requests! We truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this Villa to a large group! Thank you Elly & Staff for making this trip memorable! Forever in our hearts!

wow wow wow. cannot say enough good things about this place. it was probably the best airbnb experience i've ever had. we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there. the property is amazing. the individual villas circling the pool area gave our guests privacy when they needed it, but yet it was still so intimate at the same time. elly the host was great in helping us plan for the whole trip. she had great communication, suggestions, and provided very useful guides for the whole experience. the staff was inconspicuous but so meticulous throughout our whole stay. the chef meals were delicious and highly recommended for convenience. a special mention for the houseman alex - he was the best and took really good care of us., going above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. this villa and their service really made us feel like we had a small hotel all to ourselves. would absolutely recommend and rebook.

I can’t begin to describe how amazing Elly, Alex, Chef Patty, and the rest of the incredible staff made our group of 17 feel. The villa was beyond gorgeous and looked even better than in the photos. The utmost care was taken to ensure that guests feel safe, pampered, and well taken care of. I highly recommend hiring Chef Patty as every meal was delicious and her staff super attentive. Alex made sure our drinks were full and our every need met. Elly is one of the nicest and caring host and it shows in every inch of the space. We will be back for sure!!

This villa is absolutely incredible. We came for 4 nights and could not have been more pleased with the amenities and service. The staff were so accommodating and our guests took advantage of the massages and the chef services almost every day. We came to relax and unwind and this was the most perfect location to do so. The staff also went out of their way for my birthday dinner and spent all day decorating the dining area which was so thoughtful. The beach is not a far walk - we did come during a down season so many things ended up being closed. This was not an issue for us as we just stayed at the villa instead. 10/10

The place was outstanding for our summer family reunion of 18 people. The rooms, pool, terrace, and common areas were top-notch with a modern tropical design, and the kids had plenty of fun in the lofts (Colomo and Licuala). But above everything else, the best part was the staff, between Elly, Alex, and the rest of the team; they were always attentive, ensuring everything was spotless and we were having a good time. We cannot express enough gratitude for their attention and care throughout our stay. They truly made our family reunion a unique and memorable experience!!

This villa was everything and more we could have hoped for. We invited our closest friends to celebrate a joint bachelorette/ bachelor trip and this villa made our experience a 10/10. Convenience is luxury, and this villa is luxury!! Elly and the staff made sure we didn’t worry about a thing while on our trip and made it worth every penny! Elly’s airbnb was the best place I’ve stayed with a big group! We had 19 people and it had the perfect Amount of indoor and outdoor space so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The rooms were so beautiful and each had their own individual touches like hammocks, outdoor seating, complimentary coffee etc. The pool was amazing and definitely big enough for large groups. Elly and Alex (bartender/house manager) were EXCELLENT! They were present at check in for tours, arranged anything that we needed (transport/reservations), and were amazing at being proactive/responsive. We arranged chefs for our group who were excellent and made separate meals for our vegetarians w/o hassle. The rooms were cleaned daily based on preference with towels being replenished daily! I will 100% be recommending this place to any large groups I know that are planning travel to PV!

Our stay at Villa Tayrona was nothing short of extraordinary. My fiancé and I booked this incredible villa for our joint Bachelorette/Bachelor party with our friends. Elly, our gracious host, ensured every moment was memorable with her thoughtful touches and excellent hospitality. Alex, the houseman and talented bartender, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Chef Patty's culinary skills left us speechless with each delicious meal she prepared. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The villa itself is a true paradise with gorgeous landscaping and luxurious amenities that exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Whether relaxing by the poolside, enjoying a meal on the terrace, or exploring Bucerias, Villa Tayrona provided the ideal setting for a relaxing and fun getaway. I celebrated my 50th birthday at an incredible villa with 11 friends, and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The friendly and accommodating staff made us feel like we were at a boutique resort. I am especially grateful to Alex and his team, and to Elly, our attentive host, who took care of every detail. We stayed at Villa Tayrona for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I do not have enough good to stay about this experience. It started with the planning and our hostess Elly was more than helpful. She answered all my 1000 questions within minutes and was more than happy to help with any planning with nothing but patience and kindness. Upon arrival to the villa we were greeted by the staff with open arms. We received a tour of the grounds that was very detailed and helpful. Then it was time to relax. The atmosphere in this place is incredible. It feels like you are in your own private oasis. The grounds and rooms were immaculate each having its own uniqueness. Then the staff....where to start. Each and every one of them were so kind, sweet and helpful. They knew what we wanted even when we didn't. Fresh fruit in the mornings, banana bread, coffee made, just incredible. And Alex, THE MAN!!! He made our trip. ANYTHING you need Alex was there to help. Such a great man.

The process of communicating was very easy both before and during the stay. I had an amazing time while there, this really was an experience that I will never forget.

Elly was the most knowledgeable and helpful host we’ve ever had and Villa Tayrona exceeded expectations. We came with three families and based on the other reviews, did most of our meals with Chef Patty. Chef Alex prepared our drinks. Elly arranged massages, a Mexican spirit tasting (highly recommend) and salsa dancing for our group. We ventured to Sayulita to mountain bike (based on Elly’s guidebook recommendation) and visited San Pancho to explore the town. People in our group went down to our beach nearly every day. It was very helpful to have a car to see everything else in the area. We rented with Gecko (another Elly recommendation) and they were great. Our favorite part? The pool and foliage around it. So much shade and fun. A beautiful retreat in Bucerias. Just an outstanding experience and we share our highest recommendation for Villa Tayrona!

Villa Tayrona is an oasis in Bucerias and we had an amazing time. Our group of 10 loved Chef Patricia’s meal - we indulged in her breakfast every day (5) and am sorely missing them now. We also had 2 of her dinners and it was delicious!! Elly was so awesome and helpful and I can’t say enough about Alex. He was always available to assist us with anything we needed. It was easy to arrange/get to other activities while we were there as well. Would highly recommend! Do not hesitant to experience the tropical vibe of VT!!!

11/10 and I'm not exaggerating one bit. Elly was a beautiful host, going out of her way to make sure that every request we had was met above and beyond, no matter how random it felt. Alex, the daily support and leading man, exceeded our expectations and I don't know that the trip would have been the same without him. He was like a mind reader, catering to our every need, even ones we didn't know we had. The chef was outstanding, catering to our specific dietary needs, nailing every meal - we didn't finish one meal thinking "meh, that was okay..." - we finished every meal raving about the flavor and presentation. I can't say enough kind, encouraging, and thankful words to express how beautiful our retreat at Villa Tayrona was. The 13 women with us loved their rooms, the layout, and the proximity to coffee shops and the beach. We are Villa Tayrona-super fans and will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Elly and her team were amazing. We had our small wedding there and her little details made it so special! What a wonderful venue. it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Villa Tayrona is one of the most beautiful and well manicured vacation rentals I have ever stayed at. Elli was so sweet and helpful in the planning process of our trip and kept in great communication, answering all of my many questions and more. We had a large group with a lot of kids and they were very accommodating and the space felt very safe for the kiddos. Alejandro was so incredibly helpful and recommended us to so many amazing activities and places to eat. He is also an excellent bartender and always had snacks and coffee ready for us in the mornings(We love you Alex!). The villa itself is absolutely stunning and the landscaping and variety of plants is truly amazing. It is so easy to feel right at home with each individual room being very private. The beach is an easy walk and the pastor tacos around the corner are some of the best tacos I have ever had(and we ate a lot of them!) We truly loved all of the staff and we cannot wait to come back again someday!

The Villa is beautiful! We stayed at Villa Tayrona with 4 other families (19 people total), including 9 kids ranging from 7-13. It was the perfect place for such a large group. Everyone had their own private place to retreat to and there were plenty of group spaces for the kids and adults to enjoy. The Villa is superbly designed with everything you need and beautiful art, plants, etc. The pool is small but the design and setting made it entertaining for all the kids to enjoy. Alex and Chef Patty were pleasant and amenable to all our requests. I highly recommend breakfasts and dinners at the Villa if you have a large group -- it is much easier than finding an accommodating restaurant and the food was great. The beach is a quick walk from the Villa and there is a great walking/running path parallel to the beach. My only concern was the noise in the neighborhood at night. There were several barking dogs and a band that played into the morning hours on our first day.

Villa Tayrona is beautiful, well laid out beautifully decorated and spotless. The Mexican artisanal touches around the spaces are so great - we kept asking where we could purchase similar items. The staff is so wonderful. Especially Alex who will think of things you want before you do. He is incredible and does everything with a smile. Our group highly recommends Chef Paty’s meals! They were always fresh, creative and delicious. Don’t forget about breakfast - we loved it so much we added another breakfast to our visit. Chef Paty did a great job making a special option for our dairy free guest as well! The location is good for a getaway but if you want more activity it’s an easy walk to the center of town and Alex was very helpful with directions. Elly’s Guidebook is informative and has great suggestions - we tried several of them, including in-house massages. We would 100% go back and hope to do so for another wonderful family vacation!!

We had an amazing experience at Villa Tayrona as 15 of us came together to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. Elly has truly crafted an oasis in the heart of Bucerias. The property is thoughtfully designed, with beautiful landscaping and a refreshing pool. Each room is impeccably clean, and many are equipped with kitchens. The layout provided ample space for us to gather as a group and allowed individual breaks when needed. The staff at Villa Tayrona was exceptionally helpful and attentive. Alex went above and beyond to cater to our every need, and Chef Patricia prepared the most delicious and expertly crafted meals. Throughout our stay, Elly guided us every step of the way, offering valuable recommendations and accommodating our requests. It was a memorable and enjoyable celebration, thanks to the fantastic setting and the dedicated team at Villa Tayrona.

This place was beyond amazing. From beginning to end, Elly was so helpful and accommodated all of our needs. There were so many special little touches from the margaritas upon our arrival, name tags on all of the guests doors, supplies for the beach, just to name a few...there was thought put into anything and everything we might need or want. The staff were absolutely AMAZING! Alex's personal touches to our service made every day fun and complete. Patricia's meals were spectacular, every meal was fresh and delicious. The staff kept the rooms, pool and social areas sparkling clean every day and were such friendly faces to see every day. There were 14 of us and each and every one of us was extremely happy with the villa and all it had to offer. I highly recommend this as an alternative to the all-inclusive options. Superb!!

Our stay at Villa Tayrona was nothing short of amazing! We are a tour co from Alaska, on retreat, and we own an Inn, so we look for details and we notice everything. The attention to detail at Villa Tayrona is 100%! ALL was spotless, and there were MANY little touches that added to our experience. Elly is dedicated to using local materials, indigenous art, and local employees. We chose this place after A TON of research, because these values match ours, and that was important to us. The Villa is a magical oasis! In addition to being beautiful, the rooms have a/c, fridges, ,some have full kitchens. Filtered water is provided in each room, along with everything you could need. The common areas are a magical garden with a beautiful pool in the center. There's a bar, a terrace for group meals, and we added chef services. We are concerned about going home and not have Chef Patricia to feed us, and our houseman Alex to help with everything else we need! Bucerias is lovely and not touristy!

Villa Tayrona is a little oasis tucked into a safe, local neighborhood in Bucerias away from the hustle of tourist attractions. The neighborhood has a mixture of family homes, taco stands, sidewalk fruit and seafood markets, coffee shops, and more. Villa Tayrona is where privacy and luxury meet. The pictures on Airbnb are exactly what you see when you arrive. It’s spectacular! We renewed our wedding vows and celebrated 30 years of marriage plus my husband’s upcoming retirement. It was 17 adults and 1 infant. We had a blast! The Villa allows for intimate family gatherings but also privacy in your own villas. Every morning in unison, the roosters crow and the dogs bark…. LOL - But it’s not disruptive. Alex, chef Patricia and the housekeeping crew were exceptional. I recommend Villa Tayrona to any group looking for a unique experience.

Villa Tayrona is beautiful. The service received by Elly, Alex, Andrew and Patricia was outstanding. The facilities accommodated our group of 16 adults and one baby perfectly. We even had a photographer come in and the pictures came out great with the villa as the perfect background. We had most of our meals catered by their catering services, the meals and service were also excellent. Our only reservation was the walk to beach was a bit treacherous and meals, other than coffee, outside of the house, did not prove to be that convenient.

Where do I even begin??? For starters, the communication with Elly was fantastic through and through. When we got to the villa, we were able to hang out in the lobby before our check in time since our flights got in early. We were greeted with margaritas and the loveliest view. The entire stay felt magical. We had several meals cooked for us, and each one was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and the entire staff was so attentive and friendly. Elly provided the most personal touches, which were so appreciated… gifts for the people that we were celebrating and even a customized banner which was above and beyond. Nothing went unnoticed by the staff. We truly felt like we were in paradise, and couldn’t have imagined a better vacation with such a large group. The surrounding area gave us a good feel for the culture and we felt welcome by everyone. The beach was an doable .5 mile walk and was super fun for the group. We made many wonderful memories at Villa Tayrona. Muchisimas gracias!!!

Staying at Villa Tayrona was an absolute dream! We couldn't have imagined a better vacation. Our group was 21 people and this was the perfect private location. Everyone in our group said "this is the best vacation I've ever been on". Chef Patty cooked some of the best 3-course meals we've ever had, daily house-keeping service kept the compound clean throughout our entire stay, and Alex catered to us for anything that we needed (i.e., grocery runs, getting ceviche, making salsa/guacamole/margaritas, and coordination on-site for the extra vendors that we added). Talk about 5-star treatment with a private exclusive and more local feel. Elly personally worked with me in advance to plan an extravagant itinerary that included 7 meals on-site cooked by Chef Patty, a mariachi band, a group salsa dance instructor, a massage day on-site, and transport. There are many tiendas nearby, a bank, a large grocery store, and the beach is 9-min walk. We loved VT and the staff, will definitely be back!

We organized a trip for 22 people, and each of them was very amazed and satisfied with the Airbnb. The villa is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and impeccable. The service we received was 100 times better than I expected. All the people who worked at the villa and the owners are very friendly, helpful, attentive and flexible for any request we had. We never lacked anything, and we were really very happy every day that we had rented this place. It's definitely a location that I'm going to recommend to all my acquaintances, and I hope to be back very soon.

All I can say is WOW. This was hands down one of the best vacation stays I’ve ever had. The villa itself was absolutely gorgeous. It was private, easily accessible from the PV airport, and the photos didn’t even do it justice. Aside from the villa itself, Elly and her staff were incredible and went beyond the call. Not only was Elly there to greet us, she also dropped off a gorgeous birthday present for me AND came back to see us off. She was quick to respond and all of her recommendations were 10/10. Alex (our server and house staff lead) and Patricia (chef) went far beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and a FANTASTIC deal. We were a 15min walk from the beach and a quick walk to La Negra and Karen’s place (both restaurants recommended by Elly and both fantastic)! We’ve all expressed that we want to return with our partners or for another gals trip in the future. If I could give 6 stars I would’ve!

I just got back from a 15 girl bachelorette party last night and it was amazing!!! Everyone is already asking when we can go back and do a family vacation. The Villa is your own private oasis and is just as beautiful as the pictures! The entire staff is friendly and takes great care of the grounds. Elly went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, make reservations, and was always easy to get in touch with. She even did a little welcome gift for the bride and myself which was so sweet and unexpected. Do not skip the private chef! Ms. Patty is excellent and was able to make something everyone loved. The real star of our stay was Alex - the houseman/bartender/do it all guy. From shopping to making drinks and serving food, he does it all with a smile and made us feel so comfortable. The trip would not have been the same without him and we are so thankful. Can’t wait to to go back!

Villa Tayrona is a special place. On top of offering stunning and comfortable accommodations, the VT team went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Alex’s hospitality and bartending were superior! In addition to making delicious drinks, he helped coordinate a very full spa schedule so we truly didn’t have to lift a finger all weekend. Chef Paty and her team made delicious and fresh meals. The VT cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly and attentive. The Villa grounds and rooms are beautiful - it truly feels like you are walking into an oasis. The details and art in the rooms and lobby were a consistent talking point with our group all weekend. Finally, Elly is an excellent host and graciously assisted us with planning multiple activities for months leading up to our trip. She even surprised us with cute signs and personal touches around VT upon our arrival. Villa Tayrona is a 10/10 experience. Many thanks to the entire VT team for a trip of a lifetime! Elly was incredibly helpful in setting up her property for 15 people. Staff was attentive but never got in the way. Meals were great at the house. It’s a bit of a Diamond in the ruff in surrounding neighborhood but the beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Bars and restaurants in Bucerias were great and only 30 mins from PVR.

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. Elly and her team made sure to make us all feel welcome and relaxed throughout our stay - greeting us every morning with every anticipated need. They were extremely helpful in providing local recommendations as well as arranging private meals, mariachi, and massages at the villa. The small details were most impressive making everyone in our party feel special. Perfect venue for a large family hoping to enjoy every moment together. The chef created a variety of delicious meals with fresh local ingredients that left us wanting more. It was hands down some of the best food we had on our trip. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They were always available to help with anything we needed and had great recommendations for local activities and attractions. We felt incredibly well taken care of throughout our entire stay. Overall, Villa Tayrona provided the perfect setting for my bachelor party experience.

Villa Tayrona is a beautiful relaxing refuge in the midst of a Mexican residential district. The staff is truly amazing and went well out of their way to insure our every need and want was met. They enjoy working for Elly, and that joy is reflected in their every action. Alex had fresh coffee waiting for us every morning, followed by plates of fresh fruit. We did not expect that at all. The setting inside the compound is breath taking. Admittedly, it is a bit pricey to stay there (we rented the entire Villa for our family of 18), but it was well worth every penny. Our grandkids are already asking if we can come back again next year. Some thought the bed mattresses were a bit too hard, but I found them wonderful. Each person has their own personal preference.

I came with 14 friends for my birthday and each and every single one of us couldn't think of a single suggestion for Elly to improve our stay because everything was above and beyond what we expected Every little detail at Villa Tayrona was done thoughtfully and beautifully. This is the perfect place for a big group to enjoy and hangout, but also to have space to yourself when you want it. The rooms are comfortable and stunning, the pool is great for swimming or just sitting in to cool off, the lobby is a great hangout spot and even there the details are amazing with swings The food is also great. We went out to eat twice and all said if we could do it over again we would just eat at the Villa We arranged several activities, fitness, yoga, spirts tasting, massages and each and every single person Elly sent was also of the high quality of the Villa I wish I wasn't out of space to say more

If you’re even slightly considering Villa Tayrona, you will not regret it! We were a group of 14 adults and 6 children who had specific criteria which Villa Tayrona met with flying colours. Each family had their own space to retreat to but also common areas for everyone to hang out together whether at the pool or in the lobby or on the terrace for meals. Everything in the Villa was meticulously curated; No detail was missed. Anything you needed, it was there and if it wasn’t, the house staff were sure to help. Not only did the accommodations at Villa Tayrona exceed our expectations, the real stars of the show were hands down the staff. Alex, the guest experience concierge and house bartender really took care of everything we needed. The house staff were all so attentive and so sweet, especially with the kiddies. Chef Patty+co created the most amazing meals with the freshest ingredients. Thank you Elly for creating a paradise to remember for a lifetime. We hope to be back!

I don’t even know where to start with how wonderful Villa Tayrona was for our yoga retreat. From Elly welcoming us, going above and beyond by putting adorable room assignments on each door and creating a hanging sign for our event, every detail was thought out and special. The space is even more beautiful than the pictures. We had a group of 20 women and everyone was very comfortable. We were able to practice with 19-20 of us around the pool. The attention to detail throughout the space makes it truly special. So clean! The food! Chef Patricia accommodated our request for healthy meals, a few people that were gluten sensitive and a couple that didn’t prefer shellfish. The food was exquisite! Alex! Alex was absolutely amazing. We requested mocktails for cocktail hour as it was a wellness retreat. They were delicious. Alex & Elly went above and beyond to coordinate a hike, massages and an overall awesome experience. 10/10 recommend! We are coming back again next year!

Superb! I have rented multiple staffed villas and many unstaffed homes in the past. I have never had a more professional, accommodating, and respectful owner than Elly. The property is in pristine condition and there were so many little unexpected extras that I cannot begin to list them. Elly's attention to detail certainly sets her apart from other rentals. Alex is an absolute gem. He should be called an "Experience Host" because he is much more than a typical villa houseman/barman. We stayed for 9 days. The area is very safe and many in our group continually walked into town and to the beach without any issues. The surrounding area looks a bit rough at first but we quickly embraced the ambiance and frequented the clothing shops, fish market, bakeries, laundry service, and the bodegas within a block. The beds were very comfortable, the villa is cleaned daily, and all of the staff members were exceptional. If I could give more than 5*, I would. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a group of 18 people. Everyone loved how gorgeous the outside and inside were. The place was as beautiful as the pictures. We do a family trip very Christmas break w our blended family. Everyone agrees this was the best place we have stayed. What really put Elly’s place over the edge was the staff. The cleaning service was included and the cleaning ladies worked super hard to clean the rooms each day. The chef was fabulous. Everyone agreed it was the best food we had in Mexico. We had breakfast every morning, 3 dinners and a couple lunches/cocktail hours. Alex the bartender/property manager was always gracious. He took care of everything from making specialty drinks, recommending a beach club and lining up taxis. Staying at elly’s place was like being as an all inclusive but the food and drinks were fabulous. Prior to getting there, we were concerned about safety, but the place is surrounded by a 2+ story wall. Walked around a lot w no problems.

This place far exceeded all of our expectations. Our multi-generational group ranged in age from 5 to 75, and our week at Elly’s place truly was special for everyone. It looks better than depicted, the staff is warm and helpful, the meals were delicious. The special little touches around every corner only added to our wonderful time here.

We where a family group of fifteen people , ranging from ages of fourteen to ninety-one for our matriarch mothers birthday which we celebrated at Villa Tyrona. We couldn't ask for anything more from Elly's staff , from decorating to meal service. Incidentally Elly had Pepe and Charlie cater the meal and it was second to none. It was a fantastic experience as staff went out of there way to arrange Taxis, restaurant reservations , and more. Most importantly the staff where very social and we appreciate the time they took to humor and cater to such a large group. I highly recommend Villa Tyrona . All the villas have all the essential you can think of. The staff is very attentive and pleasant to have around. Would Not think twice in returning and spending oa other family vacation in Bucerias. This villa looks BEAUTIFUL in pictures, but it’s even more beautiful in person! Right when we walked in, the greeted us with a smile and margaritas! I went with a group of 15 people for my birthday, and Elly and the staff had a lot of thoughtful touches for me around the villa. Alex was amazing and helped us with anything we needed. His drinks were sooo delicious and everyone loved having him around! I love how intentional so much of the design of this villa was. Such an amazing property! Highly recommend!!

Honestly I would give 10 stars. Elly and her team at the villa were all amazing. We had such a great time. Having the entire villa to ourselves made it more enjoyable. Everyone in our party said it’s a hidden gem. Alex! Alex was our personal concierge. He made it happen. Anything we needed, he took care of it. He’s the best! Chef Patty, she prepared some amazing dishes. There’s so many great things I can go on and on about but overall we had a very memorable experience.

The villa was clean and beautiful; Elly was a very communicative host (always responsive and helpful in answering any of our questions), who made sure that we had all the information we needed to have the most relaxing stay. And Alex, who was both bartended and all out general support during our time at the villa had the best energy, was always extremely helpful, and truly set the vibe of our stay at Villa Tayrona. He was really sweet to our group, gave us great tips for everything and anything we asked, and our time at the villa would've been much less fun if he had not been a part of it! We came to Villa Tayrona to celebrate my birthday, and the staff put many thoughtful touches (decorations and signs - and even a small gift) that made the celebration even more special! Villa Tayrona was a beautiful oasis and we definitely plan on coming back one day! If you’re looking to book a vacation for a group - look no further than Villa Tayrona! The property is stunning, a private oasis tucked right into the city. It was also conveniently located for nights out in Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. The pool was amazing and Chef Patricia’s meals were delicious - we honestly didn’t need to leave the house! But, what truly made this the best destination for our group of 17 was Elly and her team. They thought of every single detail! For months before we arrived, Elly spent countless hours helping me with the planning for our bachelorette party weekend. Her recommendations were top-notch and the guidebook she provided was truly invaluable! When we arrived, they had decorated the home with personal touches for us and greeted us with welcome drinks and snacks. They even ran to a local store on the morning of our arrival to pick up 17 neon wigs that I forgot at home! The top-notch service continued all weekend long while Alex and the rest of the staff ensured we had everything we needed by grocery shopping for us, booking cabs and reservations, mixing drinks, etc. I’d give them 10 stars if I could! Hands down my best Airbnb experience ever, I definitely plan to return to this amazing place!

The entire team is amazing! They will make your stay truly special and memorable. From the chef team who made the most delicious meals and offered plenty of variety… to the most attentive house manager/bartender Alex who stayed on top of everything and managed all of our requests with ease. We had a large group with many young children and the team made us all feel special. I would highly recommend a visit!

Villa Tayrona is a little hidden oasis of Bucerias! I hosted a yoga retreat there and it was the most perfect container for our 19 person group. The staff was absolutely amazing. Alex, the house manager, takes such good care to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone is having a good time. He is the MAN! Working with Elly to help me prepare menus and get details ready for my retreat was truly a pleasure. She was sooo wonderful to work with. You can tell they take pride in this little Mexican villa and it shows. You can also feel it! Good vibes all around! Would absolutely recommend! Oh! And chef Patricia’s food is fabulosssooo!!!
