7BR Villa in San Juan del Río

Everything was fine! A bit dusty, but that's normal for a place like this. It needs to be specified that not all rooms have a bathroom.

An excellent place to get away from the hustle and bustle, relax and have a sense of tranquility

The hacienda's center is beautiful and very well located in the Tequisquiapan area of the wine and cheese route. It's a privilege to have a historic hacienda for a while. The kitchen is old, but once you understand it, it has everything you need for your stay. Anita takes good care of the guests. The bad thing. Three of the rooms are not minimally restored, so you really have to consider that there are 5 rooms available. One of those five has a bathroom that needs restoration. The mattresses are hard and the towels are a bit old. It's a shame because for just a little money they could improve the experience a lot. Very nice as an experience, but it does require work. It is a place that will appeal to people looking for something different and places with personality. It's not a place for someone looking for an immaculate five-star experience.

Everything excellent, I just suggest mowing the grass

A very spacious place, full of history and really transport you to the 1800s... the comfortable rooms and the beds even more, it is not as preserved as in the photos (the grass at the back was without maintenance, so the gardens also look a little neglected) some details to take care of as the stairs and a door that overlooks a flight and is half risky if you go with children, otherwise the place is very nice, it needs some maintenance but in general it is comfortable, spacious, pleasant and quiet

Staying in the hacienda is an unforgettable experience! It is the most unique, historic airbnb imaginable. The hacienda is 300 years old and a work in progress. The main quarters, living area and kitchen are set up for guests. The rest of the complex is in original condition and is an adventure to explore! We got a glimpse of the beautiful chapel, the old ovens and original "facilities." The sleeping and living areas for guests are spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and excellent showers. The finishes and decor maintain the authentic ambience, with modern, comfortable beds and adequate linens, towels and bath supplies. Alejandra is such a helpful and friendly person. She will show you around, answer all of your questions, make any adjustment to rooms as necessary, and can help to arrange or recommend meals locally. Diego provided excellent communication and availability. Tequisquiapan and Bernal are classic, charming colonial towns well worth visiting.

Diego's attention was very good, I was very quick to answer my questions and I was looking for a way to always help. Ale the girl that supports the house is of the most beautiful and helpful, super grateful to her. The house is an experience, it is very large and being a hacienda you can find that house is very old but nothing uncomfortable, it is part of the charm. Tequisquiapan is a 10-minute drive and Peña de Bernal is also nearby. I am very happy with the stay, I only recommend that within the budget you consider the tip that can be given to Ale, since it is an extra expense that is paid for the house.

If they like history, the old without luxury or technology and far from the noise of the city, this stay is perfect. Classic furniture and facilities, a beautiful former hacienda and Diego's (host) service is very good. Anita, the lady who serves and cooks, is the best. The facilities are a little neglected, but everything is still beautiful. The location removed from the tequis center and there is nothing close to eating but Anita gets them everything. We'll definitely be back :)

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at the Hacienda. To start, the communication with Diego prior to my stay was phenominal; I never waited longer than 1 hr for a response. Entering the Hacienda we were greeted by Anna and the friendliest dog on earth, Laika!!! Pictures do not give this place justice. Each room is tastefuly furnished to the early Mexican 1800's. Each room has high vaulted ceilings making them feel extremely spacious. The kitchen and dinning area are also tastefuly furnished, and transport you back in time. Breakfast was included with our stay...the Chilaquiles were delicious!!! Anna, the hacienda keeper was simply a breath of fresh air. She was extremly helful providing us suggestions of catering Tacos (which were also AMAZING), and over all helpful throughout our stay. I couldn't have chosen a better place to have my birthday party and gather my family. Everyone was plesantly surprised by the beauty and hospitality of this Hacienda. This place, by far, exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU for allowing me to make amazing memories!!!!!

Beautiful Hacienda full of history, details and good vibes. Great service! It can improve in the maintenance of some spaces but the experience is unforgettable 😍 We had a great time! Thank you Diego, Anita and Manuel.

Great place to stay with the family, good communication and host was always taking care of the reservation to make it a good experience. The place is close to Tequisquiapan, Queretaro, Mexico where the national and famous cheese and wine fair takes place, so, you can plan a stay accordingly. The bedrooms were fantastic, every one with its personal bathroom and very clean. You can find experienced people close the the place to prepare typical Mexican food inside.

It's a very nice hacienda, but it needs a lot of maintenance. It really is an adventure. All the furniture is very old and the walls are falling apart. The spaces are very nice for family living. The service from those who take care of the place and from the host is very good. And it lacks signage to get there.

An amazing experience, it's the best way to describe staying in this beautiful ex-hacienda. Diego was always attentive to our stay and Anita was very attentive and kind to us. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend it as an option to stay

Amazing place, very different, unique and special. Completely faithful to the photographs and surpasses it in reality. You rarely have access to an 1800 hacienda just for you and your companions. Cristobal and Anita, the gentlemen who take care of the house, are the best. Cristobal makes the best wood-fired roasts right there. Diego, the host, has immediate communication and is very attentive all the time. Highly recommended, I hope to return soon!
