House was amazing the pool,beach right at the back yard pure fun and relaxing as well ,very pleased with the host, very communicative ,loved my stay hopefully we get to do it again

Casa Margarita was a much needed place for peace, quiet, relaxation and beauty. The private yard was fantastic,…especially for an our little dogs - they loved it and so did we!! The jacuzzi was fabulous and the pool, though not heated, was nice and refreshing as the weather was between 70s at night and 80s during the day. Really enjoyed walking out through the lush court yard leading to the gazebo-deck area for morning stretches/yoga, watching the birds, sea life and local boat activity. Or hanging out by the pool, or yard, or inside,…this spot is both comfortable, easygoing and uniquely decorated. Absolutely loved the palapa style great room with ocean and rainforest mural, simply beautiful. Thank you Casa Margarita for opening up your gem of a spot!! We’d love to make your place a “thing” for bringing family and friends at least once a year. Mucho Gracias. 🙏

We had a wonderful time at this property. It feels very secluded and private and had everything we needed, even a plush dog bed for our little dogs. I will definitely be back to do a sibling trip as the house is designed perfectly for 4 couples. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a fun yet relaxing getaway.

Our 9 guests had nothing but GREAT things to say about Casa Margarita. The home is beautiful, in a great location and offered everything we needed. It’s hard to find a rental in San Carlos that checks all the boxes and Casa Margarita did! The view of the bay is lovely, with views of wildlife, boats, and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. This tropical paradise offers views of the pool, jacuzzi and bay from many angles. The two, detached casitas with individual bathrooms offered extra privacy and convenience. The two indoor bedrooms were lovely too. The entire home has a beautiful Jimmy Buffet style decor with tropical murals throughout. The outdoor kitchen area with a BBQ, refrigerator and more that offered us the covenience of storing our freshly fileted catch and libations. While we didn’t use the pool and jacuzzi (each can be heated) it’s great to have that option. We enjoyed playing games at the large dining room table. Casa Margarita is a real catch!

Butch & Kathy's place is perfect for a vacation with family and friends. We loved the layout of the house, the incredible pool and well equipped kitchen.

Butch and Kathy were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to help us out. Even found a way to get us kayaks during our stay. Casa Margarita was the perfect place for 7 women who wanted to play Pickleball (at San Carlos Pickleball Club), do yoga every morning in the beautiful yard and lush surroundings, cook great food and enjoy the local cuisine, relax with 'at home' massages, and just have quiet time and drinks around the pool and spa. Everything was just about perfect...with the exception of some water issues that Camila took care as soon as she could find workers to fix the problems. We knew that this was just the way it is sometimes in Mexico. :-) We all want to come back again and make it a yearly trip! We are all still talking about the splendor of it all. We would highly recommend Casa Margarita to anyone. Thank you Butch and Kathy for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The home was a perfect paradise and very peaceful. We very much enjoyed the outdoor space and private dock. The home and yard was very accommodating for our dog. Well worth it. We will be back

this is an awesome place!

Favorite place I've ever stayed in Mexico will be back again. Tons of space inside and out we barely wanted to leave and spend most of out trip in the pool or out on the ocean. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great which is a must in July. House was clean, everything worked as it should. Easy check in check out process. Giant new fridge, clean and well maintained pool. Can't say enough good things about our experience I am sure I missed something.

Another fabulous stay at Casa Margarita!!! Super comfortable/clean beds, great A/C and the most beautiful grounds! Loved having our morning coffee overlooking the bay while watching the sunrise! A little slice of paradise!!!

Great Property, the palapa living room is great, has such a great feeling The outside is beautiful, beautiful pool and beautiful views. Garden is absolutely breathtaking. Butch and Kelly are great hosts, kind and responsive. Will definitely book again.

Go! Just go! This was by far the best trip our family has taken in awhile. Casa Margarita has it all! Room to gather, room to enjoy solace, the grounds and view of the bahia are unparalleled. Would give 10 stars if it was an option!

Absolutely beautiful home with breathtaking views. A well equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and an extensive supply of utensils and dishware. The swimming pool and hottub are well maintained and are truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this house!

Butch and Kathy’s home in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico is truly amazing. The waterfront patio, beach, and dock all face the sunrise and the pelicans and egrets put on an entertaining show each morning while they dove for fish with a colorful sunrise in the background. It’s a perfect place to enjoy the morning coffee. We LOVED soaking in the hot tub and cooling off in the pool. I am pretty sure we soaked at least once each day but usually more often. Each of the 4 bedrooms had their own bathrooms and showers. All beds were very comfy and I felt like I got the R & R I really wanted from this trip. Although San Carlos has fabulous restaurants, we chose to enjoy a couple of dinners “at home” with our family group. Kathy suggested a personal chef (Friolito and Brian) who did the shopping, cooking, and cleaning up after dinner. His cooking was outstanding and rivaled the best restaurants in town. We visited in December to celebrate Christmas and hope to come back in the fall to visit again. We’d definitely choose this rental home again, and I recommend it highly.

The stay was Hawaii meets Mexico meets a cruise ship without the waves. The yard was beautifully landscaped. We arrived and a few plumeria flowers graced the pool. The house was very comfortable and held six of us comfortably with room for solitude. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the porch swing, hanging out in the jacuzzi and the swimming pool while sipping wine. The neighborhood was safe and had a family feel rather than a party neighborhood. I never had trouble sleeping due to noisy neighbors. The house was a central location between Soggy Peso and the downtown area. The house is as described by the owners.

We have washed 5 times in San Carlos but it is beautiful house it was where we have enjoyed it the most, most of the time it was outside in the pool or the barbecue, very comfortable, recommended, thank you

This was my second time staying at Casa Margarita. This house is well represented by the photos...great outdoor cooking/lounging area, nice pool, nice shaded seating area away from house down on waterfront, outdoor speakers for music, etc... I would certainly recommend Casa Margarita to those seeking privacy as well. Though there are other homes nearby, it feels very private and discrete, especially the pool area.

Fabulous vacation home in an ideal location! We loved this place - sparkling clean, perfectly laid out and very comfortable for everything we wanted to do - playing in the water, hanging by the pool, dining in with friends, exploring the area, being quiet on our own or being with friends. Shade and sun equally available. House is very comfortable, well-equipped and spacious. We will definitely go back!!

The house is undoubtedly much better than in the photos, it has absolutely everything you need to spend an unforgettable vacation, grills, kitchen utensils, super fast WIFI system, spectacular sound and lighting, incredible decoration, super comfortable rooms, it has access to the beach, pool and jacuzzi, we definitely plan to return, because that house transports you to a true paradise. Amazing house! I would recommend anyone to stay there. The views are incredible and the house is amazing. The pool area and the entire house makes you feel like you are in a private resort. I will definitely be back!

If you're hesitating about renting it, don't, the vegetation makes you feel like you're in Vallarta, the heated water of the pool makes it possible to enjoy it at any time, the spacious decoration, in short, it's a very complete house, I recommend it.

This is such an exceptional property and the hosts are amazing. You couldnt ask for a better place to be! We love it here and will keep coming back for sure!

You need at least a week to feel like it is home, and this oasis is one of few that can do it.

Casa Margarita is an amazing place. The beds are comfortable, the pool is heated, there were stingrays swimming every morning right in the backyard. Quick drive to good restaurants and bars. Co-host Bill had us meet him at a local gas station to make finding the place easier. Probably a good idea. I would’ve driven past it had he not been leading us. House was clean. Working coffee maker (very import to me). All the dishes we needed to make most of our meals at home. Having DirecTV in the main room was great since it’s NFL playoff season. Excellent and fast communication and a gorgeous property.

We thoroughly loved this home in San Carlos. Definitely a place we will come back to in the future. The indoor outdoor living is phenomenal and was great with our little one. She did not want to leave and neither did we. Low tide and crab hunting on the beach was one of the many activities she loved. Cant wait to visit again.

This is a Great Place to relax. What an Oasis!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable with a big (really big) social area where you can have a swim in the pool while barbecuing. Everything in the house works perfectly and the rooms are clean and cozy. The house is not beach front, but water front in a nice peaceful location. Comunication with the hostes was fast and easy. I recomend it with any hesitation.

My family and I, had a great time staying at this house during labor day weekend. We enjoyed the pool, BBQ area, Palapa and beach. Its not a sandy beach but you'll feel safe in it because its in the Bahia which is normally very calm with no waves and its not that deep. I just recommend getting in with water shoes due to lots of clams and sea shells at the bottom. My kids really enjoyed snorkeling, they got to see lots of crabs and small fishes. This is our 2nd time renting this house, would love to rent it again in the future and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit San Carlos.

The location and house is spectacular. From the pictures I had doubts on the decor. But in person, everything is well thought out and blends perfectly where the house is and the vibe of a vacation getaway. My family enjoyed all aspects of the house from the pool, outdoor bar and grill, and location next to the ocean. It is also situated minutes from anything you would want to do in San Carlos. Great house!

This house is rare....it actually is nicer in person than in the photos. Great staff and prompt response. Perfect location.

Casa Margarita was so much more then I could have ever imagined. Butch & Kathy were the most gracious hosts and even left a wedding present for us when we arrived. Bill was amazing and set us up when we arrived. Lupe became everyones favorite person and we were sad to say goodbye. A wonderful place that everyone enjoyed.

Casa Margarita is perfect for a group or family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub everyday. We cooked several dinners and almost all of our breakfasts. The house is on the water. I loved standing on the dock and looking for the underwater sea life. ( puffer, two different types of crabs, stingrays and sea stars). The outside grill and kitchen was great for outside dining. Drinks were available without going into house when we were swimming. 2 bedrooms in the house and 2 casitas that are separated. All were comfortable and unique.

House was amazing. Very clean. Views are incredible from inside the main bedroom and from the dock. Pool is the perfect depth and Jacuzzi was very nice and location is very private. Loved spending time by the outside bar having some drinks and grilling some meat. Overall great experience. Butch & Kathy are very responsive and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend.
