Casa del Bosque was a great choice to stay during our visit to San Juan del Sur. It is located away from the town and in a peaceful location. The unit is very clean and roomy and the pool was perfect to relax in. Shannon provided us with lots of recommendations and useful advice.

The Apartment is beautiful in clean

This accommodation is a perfect 10 out of 10. First of all, the road leading to the place is excellent and easy to find. It’s about a 10-minute drive to downtown. It offers complete privacy and features a beautiful swimming pool. The host is very attentive and kind. I highly recommend this place to all travelers visiting San Juan del sur.

Brett and Shannon were excellent hosts. We stayed almost two weeks and loved it. The pool is the perfect place to lounge and read a book, especially close to sunset. It’s removed enough from the town that it felt very tranquil. We walked to and from town a couple times, but I would definitely recommend having a moto or car to get around. Home is spacious, clean, and lovely. Shannon was very communicative and a helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was great

My daughter and I spent a couple of super quiet and relaxed days, as planned. The place is quiet, ideal if you want to rest and at the same time be able to go to the village for a walk or to have something to eat, since it is five minutes away. And to complete the trip, they allowed us to bring our two little dogs. Super easy check-in and check-out, without having to wait to see anyone. The apartment is ideal, with two comfortable bedrooms and everything you need for your stay. The private and large pool. I really hope to come back soon. Thank you for everything!!

This place was absolutely perfect — ideal for spending time with family or friends. The house was extremely comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed every moment. One thing that really stood out was the hosts’ honesty and professionalism. We forgot our speaker when we checked out, and they were kind enough to contact us right away and send it back through a delivery service. That level of trust and care is hard to find. Overall, we had an amazing experience and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. We would 100% stay here again!

This house is amazing, I had an amazing stay. The location is perfect, close to town but far enough to only hear the monkeys. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. I loved that the big sliding doors in the living room had screens so you can let the breeze in. The hosts were very friendly and extremely responsive. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to SJDS.
