We rented this 7 bedroom/8 bathroom home for a family wedding at Quinta San Carlos. It was PERFECT for our family, providing wonderful private sleeping/bathroom amenities with indoor and outdoor shared spaces for gathering and enjoying the beautiful grounds of this wonderful estate. There’s not much to the “town” so suggest stopping at Walmart or Oxxo in Chapala before settling in. There is an on-site assistant to help with anything on the premises-if you don’t speak Spanish, download Google Translate to facilitate communication. Our favorite spaces included the level three rooftop patio and the hot tub on level two. We absolutely loved our time at Alejandro’s place and will miss our morning coffee while watching the sunrise over Lake Chapala.

Alejando's finca is wonderful, it is very complete with everything you need to spend a weekend break and connection with nature, the kitchen with everything you need and the rooms each one with its bathroom are ideal, the green areas are very well cared for and the lake view is incredible, I recommend it 100% the location is very good and has a store nearby in case you need something, Mrs. Martha is always aware of what you need and is very friendly in constant communication with Alejandro you will have to spend days to enjoy. Very nice house and gardens! It's an ideal place to get away from the city and get in touch with nature. The house is comfortable and is quite well equipped in the kitchen and bedrooms. The hosts' service is also excellent and they are always attentive to your comfort. It is also excellent if you are going to an event in Quinta San Carlos as it is about 50 meters from the place.

Heads up: the streets are very narrow and the town is very small. It has a few small grocery stores but when asked for places to eat tacos or something like that we were told we needed to go to Jocotepec, which is some 10 min away, no big deal, but important to know.

An excellent place! Very clean and well-located. The view of the lagoon makes the experience even better. Highly recommended!

The place is amazing! Three houses from a hotel with a restaurant where you can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The garden is beautiful and everything is very clean. Amazing views of the lake at sunrise. They have a changing table and a playpen for babies. I will definitely try to come back

A super nice place to rest right on the lake shore. A small family gathering is very comfortable to hold. The garden is bigger than it looks. Everything was excellent.

A very pleasant stay, the country house is exactly as shown in the photos. Very nice and beautiful landscape.

The quinta chilla is an excellent house next to Lake Chapala with lots of vegetation and green areas, ideal for resting and enjoying nature, the dogs were happy in the grass area next to the lake, I would definitely rest there again.

Alejandro is a great host, Mrs. Martha (the person who greets you) is super friendly and helps you and solves all of your doubts. The view of the house to the lake is incredible and the house is just as it is in the photos. If you want to spend a super relaxed weekend as a couple or as a family I highly recommend it

A very comfortable property to be with a family of 6 or 2 couples. The garden is very nice. Good location. Very clean and very functional rooms. The attention of its owner is first class.

The Quinta is very beautiful, ideal for enjoying the view and family time. The kitchen is super well equipped, the rooms are very comfortable, and communication with Alejandro and Mrs. Martha is excellent. We'll definitely be back. It's a great option to stay.
