I am very grateful to Michael for the family treatment he gave us and for quickly resolving the problem of the pool. But who gets the applause is Lory, who always, was always asking how we were. He welcomed us and fired us as if we were family. I would definitely go back to the house because it's big and comfortable enough for a family of 16. They were all comfortable. You only need to change the specifications of the pool as it is not in the house and you should go to someone else's house and it has a cost. I must say that still, the owner of the pool also welcomed us excellently. Many thanks Michel and Lory 😘😘

Our family of 11 had a comfortable stay! The beds were super comfy. The neighborhood has a lot going on, not necessarily bad. The condos next to where we stayed are getting renovated so a lot of construction. People walking these dogs, it’s just busy. Didn’t bother us much because we were mainly gone throughout the days. There is a super cute coffee shop about 3 blocks away and a small store a block away from the house. The house does not have any basic kitchen spices, this is something I haven’t encountered at other Airbnb’s… no salt, pepper, nothing really as far as food items. Also, all the bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors so be prepared to climb lol not necessarily a bad thing, you’ll get your workout in! Scott was very responsive even prior to our stay, and throughout! The car was the major plus for us, super convenient pretty much having it at our disposal and not having to Uber or taxi so much! Great stay overall

I would definitely recommend staying at this location but you should be aware that there are a lot of stairs so it is not handicap accessible or great for older people with disabilities. All rooms are located on the 2nd & 3rd floor. We had a couple of issues however Scott (the manager) was able to resolve things pretty quickly. He was also very helpful in insuring that we had dinner upon our late arrival. So many things to check out & do but be prepared to be up early with barking dogs and construction within the area. Again no fault of the property but it is something you should be prepared for. The walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors, rain, dogs, construction, etc. however they offered plenty of advise and ideas of activities we would return again. Very comfortable stay for 12 individuals ranging from 17-65.

This is lovely neighborhood with so many friendly people! There are cafes, markets, and restaurants all within walking distance. It’s very close to the ferry terminal and we found an amazing seafood restaurant (Puerto Santos) right on the beach very close to the house as well. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent many hours on the rooftop area enjoying the breeze and the view. Scott was so helpful and responsive. He also can recommend some amazing homemade Italian food for delivery from right there in the neighborhood. Would 100% recommend this place!!

This home is located in a nice gated community with 24/7 security. This is a great set up for a large family like we had. The sleeping arrangements are awesome! The lay out worked great and the rooftop was AMAZING. We highly recommend this home for large families and the location was close to everything! Scott (property manager) was great to work with and any issues he addressed them immediately. Michael the owner was a pleasure to deal and talk with and was quick to reply. The SUV included was great for the 4hrs a day. The price was perfect and affordable for our 3 families that stayed in the home. A must place to stay!

I'm a person that does not write many reviews, but I do have to share some things that I liked about this place and the manager. the place had all amenities as described, loved the crows nest, we were up there on Christmas and new years eve. it was only a 15 minute walk to Port for Isla mujeres farries. Scott the manager was very attentive, when ever I needed to use the Chevy suv he would bring it in les the 15 minutes and he would pick it up untill I was done. having a vehicle was very helpful and saved us lots of money. any issues with property we had during our long stay, Scott property manager would quickly fix while we were away on one of our many trips. over all I felt safe there because of the security guards there.

great place. there's 4 floors so there's so many stairs.taking luggage up to the bedroom on the third floor was so annoying. I also have a 1-year-old so taking him up and down the stairs several times a day was tiring. all the rooms were a good size. the AC was great. our host was awesome. this place is great for large families but it's not very toddler friendly because of the stairs. hopefully we'll be going to Cancun every other year I hope this place is available next time I go

Perfect place fory team. We had a team of 12 missionaries here and this was our home and base camp. We spent long, challenging days out and this was a Great place and it accommodated us all just fine. Having an English speaking host really helped and Scott who was the on-site manager was super helpful. We had some minor issues and Scott was correcting them right away. Gated community, air conditioning, washer/dryer, great functional kitchen, comfortable beds, flushable toilets were highlights for us. The rooftop lounge was a bonus. I would definitely rent this place again.

If given the opportunity, everyone should spend at least one month living somewhere other than where they call home. We were fortunate to be able to work from home and relocate to this wonderful home in a great, local community. From before we even showed up, Michael was in constant communication with me about our upcoming trip. He was very quick to respond to everything. Once we were here, Scott and Lore took excellent care of us; from coordinating airport pickup by Nery to allowing me to use his internet when ours went down briefly so that I could teach my class. Scott is a mastermind at engineering and the home reflects that with some of his inventions on display, like the water pump that gives you fresh, cold water from the fridge! The home itself is a gem and swinging in the hammocks on the rooftop deck with palapa is something I will dream about while staring at the New England snow once I return home. All the rooms are well appointed and the jacuzzi tub in the 3rd floor bedroom is a dream. Bahia Azul is a wonderful little neighborhood and we ventured out into the surrounding neighborhood several times to go to the little restaurant across the street and to the fruit market to buy our daily comida! We travelled with our 6 and 2 year old, and the host made sure that we had what we needed to keep the 2 year old safe with all those stairs. I am incredibly sad to be leaving Mexico and this wonderful lodging we've called home for over a month. I highly recommend you stay here for any amount of time, but to truly experience this place, book for a month!

If you rent this home you will not be disappointed! Scott, the manager is so helpful with getting things done, not sure what his schedule is but he was always a call away if I needed help and he is very knowledgeable about how to do things around town. The area is so welcoming and if you want an affordable place to stay that is close to things but don't want the busyness of traffic then this is the home for you. Take a minute to relax on the rooftop or stroll through the neighborhood on a quiet evening. Everything is within bus route. The buses are cheap, along with catching a taxi to and from. Some buses will even drop you off close to the road leading to the house even though they don't have to if you ask. If you don't mind walking take a walk down to ferry and catch it to Isla Muejers be sure to rent a golf cart BEFORE you get on the ferry because it's too big to see everything with out one. If you don't know Spanish or how to convert the money, download the google translator and currency convertor apps to help. There's a sheet of helpful information in the kitchen for guest convenience. If you're not familiar with driving here, please don't sit back and let someone else do the driving for you. Places that we enjoyed were the Puerto Santo restaurant located inside the hotel gates, Captain Hook dinner in the hotel district, restaurant Luna on Isla muejers, the beach at hotel district and Isla muejers, the family at the top of the road that sells hot dogs, the small stand by the park across from the entrance for tacos on Saturdays to name a few. All in all relax and enjoy.
