Amazing stay! We had a fantastic time and were very comfortable. It’s a tough road but the stay was worth it!

We spent 5 weeks at Fairytale House from the end of February through March. It was the perfect place for us to enjoy all of Samara and the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica, close enough to town and the beach yet totally private and peaceful with beautiful views of the jungle and the ocean. The house was huge and perfect for our grandson and his parents who joined us for part of the stay. Very well equipped for children and adults alike. We did a lot of cooking in, and the huge kitchen was well equipped and a real bonus. We spent many hours on the veranda, enjoying the constant sea breeze and watching the howler monkeys...they visited every morning and evening! The pool was clean and refreshing and the waterfall feature is fab! Chelsea and Jay were super responsive and any small issues we had were quickly resolved. Rainbow Kitty is super sweet and friendly and we enjoyed his company. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it was heaven on earth!

The fairytale house was truly amazing! Our family of four had an excellent time in Samara with this as our home base. The amenities and views can’t be beat. The beds are also extremely comfortable! We can’t wait to come back!! My kiddos already miss Rainbow Kitty so much.

Our family (3 kids) had a wonderful stay at Chelsea’s home, or Casa Cascada. The spaces were comfortable & the property was serene & quiet. We particularly enjoyed the pool w. the waterfall & the multiple spaces for lounging. Location is less than 15 minutes on a dirt road into town & from gorgeous beaches. When we weren’t eating out at one of Sámara’s several delicious restaurants, we prepared small meals at the house in its well appointed kitchen. Location worked particularly well for us because we wanted a peaceful atmosphere within a short distance from downtown. Casa Casado is a good value that lives up to the photos in the posting. The pool table is no longer there, & the concrete path to the creek has been washed out by a storm. The owner kindly apologized that the description had not been updated & provided a small reimbursement for the trouble. Rainbow kitty was adorable & easy to care for. Also, the neighbor’s two dogs visit the house frequently, but we enjoyed their company.

Amazing home! It was perfect for our family of 5. My kids loved the pool, basketball hoop, trampoline, and all the toys. They loved it so much that my youngest asked daily if we could live there. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you.

Fairytale house was an amazing house! The views were amazing. Loved how peaceful the home was surrounded by the birds and jungle. The last day we were there the houler monkeys were right beside the house. So cool! Girls loved the pool and the animals. Just a short drive to town. Lots to do in town. Great food, excellent coffee, great beaches. Will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chelsea and Jay's home! The location is unbeatable—just a short drive to beautiful beaches, shops, and great restaurants, yet tucked away on a quiet street that feels peaceful and secure. The house itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained, with all the amenities you could want for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the refreshing pool and the lush garden, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. The addition of having kids toys on hand made it great for my family of five. Chelsea and Jay were incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure everything was perfect from the moment we booked until our departure. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests’ experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a true Costa Rican vibe, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!

Chelsea was super easy to communicate with and she had wonderful suggestions/ responses to my many questions. The house is magical! Felt like we were in a castle! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the towels and bed linens were soft and fluffy. We had howler monkeys around every morning and some friendly neighborhood dogs stopped by for attention. All in all it was an amazing stay at Chelsea's place!

One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. The house was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we needed. Chelsea was very helpful, quick to respond and brought us local cinnamon rolls. Rainbow the cat was so sweet and cuddly. 10/10 recommend.

A dream house in the midst of the jungle ✨️ We were fortunate to spend 2 weeks at this beautiful and secluded property. The house and property are just as described. We traveled as a family of six with a one year old baby and felt right at home with all of the amenities Chelsea's home has to offer. The kids enjoyed the pool, trampoline and all the various toys that were made available to us. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us easy preparation of home cooked meals. The surrounding nature and landscaping is amazing. We had almost daily visits from the howler monkeys and occasional toucanets right in the back yard. Chelsea and Jay were wonderful and accommodating hosts with prompt responses to any of our questions. We would love to stay at this home during our next visit to Samara.

Amazing property with a view of the ocean, privacy and wildlife including monkeys, pizote and birds. Owner was very responsive and friendly. House very clean and everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The road is a little rough but worth it once you get to the property. Definitely a place to consider if you want to experience the essence of PURA VIDA!

Our group of 6 enjoyed our time at Chelsea's house and Samara. Having a pool and so many great spots to enjoy the view made our stay amazing. We didn't want to leave! Rainbow the cat was a great host who made us feel right at home. We heard howler monkeys almost every day and saw them several times plus an iguana and several anoles hung out with us too. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful house and surroundings. The place is peaceful , with great view, beautiful pool area and house porch. It is about a 12 minute drive to the beach.
