We had a mostly great stay at Villa Marisol for our group of 13. The villa itself is beautiful — spacious enough to comfortably accommodate everyone and well maintained. Our housekeeper Odette was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Our host Olga was helpful with bookings, coordination, and answering any questions we had. And our travel curator Lily was outstanding — she handled all of our travel bookings, excursions, reservations, and transportation for 13 people. Unfortunately, a significant power and water outage on Friday put a little damper on an otherwise great experience. The outage lasted over four hours across most of the villa (three bedrooms retained power but had no water). They did send someone 2 hours into the outage and he got water running but did not restore power fully. They also made no offer to compensate us for the inconvenience which seemed appropriate given we paid $7,500. We would still recommend Villa Marisol based on our overall experience.

Exceptional staff. Concierge helped Us hire chefs, and the housekeeping staff went above expectations all day for our family of 18. Wonderful pool with afternoon shade most welcome. 2 blocks from 5th Ave shopping and restaurants and 3 blocks from the beach. This year we had chosen to prioritize that centrality, realizing there was not a view. The interior is as lovely as pictured. The spiral staircase helped us stage great multifamily portraits.

The place was immaculate and Odette and the crew were amazing and went above and beyond. We had an amazing stay and everybody enjoyed themselves perfectly. Will definitely stay again!

Via Mirasol was the perfect villa for my large group of 16. It was beautiful & so clean! The staff was so accommodating & very nice. Odett was maybe the sweetest woman I have ever met & she greeted us every morning with a smile and made sure our rooms were cleaned daily. Our host Érica was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the beach & local restaurants and shops! I definitely would recommend this location for a big group!

The property was beautiful and it was perfect to accommodate my family and friends, we rented the entire property , but I think they can accommodate smaller groups. The A/C, which is very important to us, was great. We loved the housekeeper, Odette! She was so sweet and super helpful. The grounds were kept always great by the other employee at the villa. Great that every floor has a seating area. Highly recommend this property for a large group.

Villa Mirasol was absolutely amazing. We had a business retreat in Playa Del Carmen with 7 guys, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Wonderful staff, amazingly clean property, and effortless planning process with the concierge leading up to our trip. Staff were super attentive with keeping villa tidy, doing laundry, organizing, etc. The on-site concierge was very helpful as well. We had some chef prepared meals during our stay which were wonderful. Great location, with just a 5-10 minute walk to get anywhere downtown. Overall, I would recommend this villa to anyone who is even thinking about it. We’ll be back with our family next time!

The house was beautiful. We rented all 3 levels for my sister's bachelorette and had more then enough space. Ms Odette is a gem and really made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

We wash the entire house, the place is fantastic, the pool is amazing, 2 blocks away you have the beach, 1 block away to do super, who help us with very attentive cleaning and maintenance. Great place. Highly recommended.

For the amount of money we paid for a week stay I felt that it was over priced. The pictures are deceiving! The house is small and the “pools” are a plunge pool. Chef Javier and David where AWESOME!! Maid service was great! Our host was always in a hurry and had no idea what to do with 2 toddlers (activities). The host communication was super poor. She would reply back but didn’t exactly answer our questions. Very quick to get a bill which was expected to pay in hurry while out enjoying our vacation. Internet sucked so paying the hurry up bill made our fun into an anxiety! Booking thru Airbnb was approximately $1500.00 (USD) cheaper than going thru Maya Luxe! Will NEVER stay with Maya Lux again!! Also the chef quotes we got from Maya lux was full day $250 and than it changed to $350 and than it changed to $425! I have all the emails to back this up! We loved the chef but the prices we got quoted was not what we had to pay. I didn’t argue at the time bc we where on vacation and I just wanted the on going harrassment of charges over with. The beach was brown, rocky and not pretty! Location was ok, house is small and cute but for this price I would definitely go visit somewhere else!!

The house was great! The beach is really just about 20 or so steps from the house! The shops and restaurants are right down the street. You could absolutely take a 10 minute walk to enjoy a night night out and not worry about driving or parking. It’s location is amazing! The bedrooms are very spacious with four king bedrooms and a smaller queen bedroom off the kitchen and living room/dining were smaller but adequate. The two pools were refreshing. The roof top pool was fantastic at night! Definitely a must to check out on a beautiful evening. The lower level pool a bit smaller than we thought and about chest level at the deep end but still very enjoyable. The internet/cable were very spotty the week we were there. It was a tough work around for three of us who occasionally have work while away. The weather was perfect so it wasn’t the weather. I think upgrading the internet would be helpful. We enjoyed one night with the chef service and it was absolutely delicious. Overall a fantastic and beautiful home!

We had a group of 13 that stayed at Villa Mirasol. The entire Maya Luxe team did everything to make sure we had a great time! The house was perfect in a great location, staff was extremely accommodating! We would all definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Wonderful location with ability to walk to everything on 5th. The 3 master suites are game changers perfect for groups traveling to each have top level suite. Staff on site were friendly and helpful throughout. Super happy!

Great place for large groups! It felt like a hotel: nice linens and beds, almost no street noise, strong a/c, daily housekeeping that handles a ton. It made for a very comfortable stay.
