Everything was perfect

This property and our week there exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous setting, privacy, attentive staff, stunning views! This was a perfect fit for our family of 13, ages 7 to 78. We all enjoyed comfortable rooms and the pool and common areas. Johnathan helped with activities and Edith provided daily cleaning. We can’t wait to return. No one wanted to leave.

An amazing place, very intimate, a little slice of paradise in Troncones. The host was always attentive to any questions that came up, the staff was very friendly, it's a beautiful place, I would return a thousand times!

Eric’s place is amazing. We had the best family winter holidays. It is located steps from the beach; the rooms are comfortable and with great views; the pool is a dream and the service from the house staff is excellent. The wonderful service of the staff, the nice house and the access to a practically private beach was a great experience. There are some areas of opportunity such as fans and furniture in the common area Chef Mariana is a great recommendation, especially since the kitchen is very small and she takes care of organizing everything and it's also delicious!

We had a great time in Troncones. The house, amenities, cleanliness and space were just what we needed. We were a family of 9 so the place was more than enough for us. Eric was very attentive to messages and answered my questions, and Jonathan was exceptional at responding to messages. I would come back to this place without any problem. I read some comments that there was a lack of space for large groups, or that the entrance to the beach was not very good, and the truth is that for my whole family everything worked perfectly. My 75-year-old mother was able to go to the beach several times alone from the house without any problem, although you have to be careful because the last steps are made of stone without finishing and are not level. Maybe if they put a railing thinking of our elderly loved ones, it would be great. We hired a local family to cook for us and the truth is that it went very well - fresh food and local seasoning. Beautiful place!

Our stay at this Airbnb in Mexico was absolutely incredible and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The property is a true gem, offering breathtaking views, and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommend this place!

Great house, wonderful for 3 families.

I was initially worried about being so far from town but we had cars so it worked out great and the privacy was very nice. I would definitely stay here again if I’m having a lot of people visit. My only complaint is the kitchen didn’t have the basics I am use to in Troncones airbnbs like a water dispenser, napkins, salt etc. Also be careful on the stepping stones outside the cabin closest to the beach. Although they look flush with the grass they are not. I tripped on them a couple times and stubbed my toes.

I would only suggest a better refrigerator and cook a little small to accommodate all 16 people. If they go less, maybe that's fine. Although the treatment is spectacular and everything was wonderful

A great place to rest, have fun, be with family, everything is just as the photos show and better when you enjoy it, and the local host is really very helpful, every detail is appreciated.

Our extended family (three different families; three generations; many small kids) stayed at the Refugio for a week and had a wonderful time. You could not ask for a more relaxing and lovely spot. Plenty of space for privacy if needed, and gracious common areas to all be together. Well-appointed, immaculately clean, and simply beautiful. Add a nearly private beach? Heaven. Jonathan is available to help with all questions large and small, and is such a friendly guy. We would also highly recommend Mariana's services as a chef (ask Eric for details)!

The beach and sea are wonderful, it has very nice "private" beach. The house is very nice.

Killer spot. Pretty much a dream location with a rad beach. Would 100% stay here again. Bring some lawn games if you want some more activity. Could of used a few more kitchen supplies for cooking and the WIFI was spotty, also would of loved more jug water options through out the house. Johnathan was the caretaker and he was A++ and made our trip smooth and easy. Over all a solid stay especially for large groups.

The house is wonderful. Very comfortable and spacious, with a spectacular view. The beach is beautiful, practically private. Jonathan, the caretaker, is very kind and attentive. He helped us several times to get food delivered. The kitchen is small and basic, but you can prepare all kinds of food. We really had an amazing time as a family, we all enjoyed it a lot, from the children to the grandparents. We'll be back soon!

Very attentive in his responses and prompt service

Excellent house, excellent place, very private, relaxing, quiet. It's great that they have a TV, because many places in Troncones don't offer one.

The place exceeded our expectations, it is totally recommended to rest with the family. The house has very spacious and beautiful spaces, in addition to having the beach practically for the house. The host is always attentive to what we may need. Highly recommended!

It's much more than what you can see in the photos. The house is very nice, excellent maintenance, very clean. The fantastic pool and the beach where it is located has no stones and you can swim in the sea. A delightful stay to go with friends, as a couple or as a family. We will definitely be back, many thanks to Eric who was always attentive and to Jhon, who during our stay was also attentive to everything we needed.

The place is spectacular in every way. The location is just perfect, you're right on the beach and it's practically just for you. The hospitality and amazing facilities. A real gem. We want to go back now!

Everything about this place is incredible!! The setting is heavenly, muy tranquilo, the hospitality constant but not intrusive, the yard and room are impeccable, the beach is quiet but close enough to town for a margarita, the kitchen has all we needed to make coffee or dinner, and Salvador, the onsite host, was lovely, helping with anything. I will be back, hopefully for longer.

Beautiful place, quiet retreat with lots of nature. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back again!

Lovely, clean, small hotel right on a gorgeous beach. The host was very helpful regarding our needs. The pool and covered kitchen area were really nice. Food is not a part of the package, so you need to provide it yourself, and the hotel is quite a ways from town so if you don't have a vehicle, a taxi is required.

This is a beautiful space! You pretty miuch hve a private beach while only being a ~5-10 minute drive to the center of town. The place is also well designed and has everything you need. Clean, gorgeous views!

Amazing place to relax and enjoy the beach.

The house is beautiful and has four things that made our stay so special - the beach in front of the completely deserted house makes it so enjoyable. The darkness at night makes you see thousands of stars. The hammocks are very nice and the space under the dock to rest and finally the pool is beautiful. Remember to bring all the guests you need for your stay as the value of the house is to be away from the rest of the people. In any case, the village is accessible and has everything you need to prepare seafood. Having a car is almost essential.

The place is very nice, the private beach is great, and the best part was being able to see whales from the pool! Genaro is an excellent host and Kenia is very nice too. Bring all your groceries because the stores are a little far away. Although Genaro can take you whatever you need quickly. The pool is beautiful as is the furniture. Since there are only two bungalows, the privacy of the place is ideal for anyone who wants to rest or get away from civilization. Super recommended place. Thanks to our hosts, we had a wonderful birthday weekend!!

The property is SPECTACULAR much better than the photos, the clean rooms, beautiful finishes with beautiful details in every corner. Very comfortable beds, please note that the tub and shower are in the same space and have no door so if they are not family or very trusted I do not recommend sharing a room as there is no privacy unless they are showered with a bathing suit. The pool is magnificent of a very good size, comfortable, clean and at a perfect temperature. The beach is practically private there is no other property at least until today, it is a very beautiful small bay that touched us with a lot of waves as is normally Troncones but low tide and without rocks so we all enjoyed a lot. The open common area that is comfortable and large with an INCREDIBLE view with hammocks and a large table to share and for little money they cooked breakfast and fish tititas to boot. Very rich and convenient to be able to relax. It should be noted that it is not in the village of Troncones although if VERY close in a few minutes by car you are there, it is very safe, but for the same reason there will be more wildlife that we loved. I highly recommend the place, Eric and his staff all very well. We hope to return soon.
