We had a great time with my family. The place its beautifully surrounded by trees and with the lake right in frontđđŸđđŸđ We had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend at peace. God bless đđŸ

A fantastic stay! Communication with Sally was excellentâfast, responsive, and friendly from booking to checkout. The home was exactly as described: spotless, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring Isla de Ometepe. Incredible value for the price, and weâd definitely stay again!

Very disappointed; wish someone had warned us. While the location is pretty, that is the only positive. Shortly after arrival, the power cut out unexpectedly & repeatedly throughout our stay, cutting the lights, fans, AC, WiFi & running water. The host just directed us to a router battery pack. It is misleading & cruel to not warn guests about frequent outages that leave you without necessities!! in a dark jungle. To add, the bug infestation is EGREGIOUS. Huge pregnant spiders, hornets, cockroaches & mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. Swarms upstairs forced us all to pack into the downstairs bedroom (the only room w/ AC btw). The pest control & sealing are incredibly poor. Cleanliness was also poor; the bathroom, stove & amenities were dirty & dishes were covered in dust & bugs. The cleaner would come & no difference would be made. Note that multiple workers show up daily & TV apps do not work except YouTube. Also, a friendly cat lives/eats here & lays on the furniture - beware if allergic.

Its a very nice house located in the best area of Ometepe (in my personal opinion) but I would suggest adding a mesh to the main door so that the bugs dont come in that easily. Also potentially adding a air conditioning for the upstairs bedroom, and just make sure that the mesh below the roof are well positioned so that bugs dont enter. Besides that, everything was clean, the pool was clean, bathroom was clean. Would totally recommend if you have no issues with bugs at night and throughout the day

Great location, near good restaurants and things to do. Host was responsive and helpful. Pool is pristine and surroundings are beautiful.

Good afternoon, we were very disappointed with our choice. The pool is dirty. The house was very dirty, with dust, cockroaches, cockroach droppings, cobwebs, and the floor hadn't been cleaned at all; the toilet was also dirty. The dishes were very dirty; before using anything, I had to wash it. There was no dishwashing liquid, no sponge, and no garbage bags. After I wrote to the host, she responded quickly, and a helper came, but instead of laundry detergent, she brought us washing powder. I was shocked. They promised they would come in the morning to clean, but no one ever showed up. It's best not to choose this place with children, as we didn't sleep all night because of cockroaches that crawled over our child. For the first time on our trips, I was very disappointed with the house.

It didn't meet our expectations in terms of the value for the price. The photos misrepresented the reality a bit. It was not clean and very open to hot air and bugs. We should've read more closely to see there is only AC in one bedroom. There was also a cat inside when we arrived and one of our party is allergic. On the plus side, the pool is very nice and well maintained and the surroundings are beautiful.

Sally's home on Ometepe Island was beautiful. The natural surroundings are exactly what you visit this island for. The home is one of the more modern on the island and the only one with a pool we could find. The back patio and pool area overlooking Lake Nicaragua are a great place to relax and enjoy the birds and monkeys. I would highly recomend.

Very nice outdoor space, quietly located, surrounded by nature, clean pool. Quickly responsive hosts. The space is just open along the roof so animals can get in. A few times had no water, toilet that did not flush so that afterwards the ground was under water. Not really clean interior.

A small paradise, the accommodation is in the style of a holiday home. We knew about the insects, but I think nets over the beds might be a good option. The water pressure is very low and sometimes there is no more water, but it is a common issue on the island. In short, great stay, the workers are super nice, Minnie (the cat) is adorable, I recommend it.

Our stay was simply amazing!! The place is quiet, beautiful, very well maintained and surrounded by a flower garden and tree with an amazing view of the lake! A unique place, a real little paradise! What really charmed us was the communication with the hosts! Amazing, fast and clear service. Always there to offer us advice/answer our questions whether it's about accommodation or activities to do on ometepe. They offered us incredible help to organize our trips (and greatly simplified the management of all this) I highly recommend staying there and we will definitely return on our next trip to Nicaragua! Casa Lora is a peaceful place with stunning views of the lake. The outdoor pool is simply beautiful. It is important to be advised that there are MANY insects both outside and inside the house. Take the necessary precautions. The lack of AC upstairs is nice and well indicated in the ad, but it's good to know it's VERY hot at night. We still had a lovely stay at the house.
