Truly magical views. House is wonderful. Live in Tulum but first time to Bacalar. Spacious. Open. The infinity pool amazing. Seems to be on bay where many tours come to ie the best spots but hardly busy. Can’t recommend enough.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa with our family and friends. Everything was perfect, and the house fully lived up to our expectations. Brillante was a fantastic host - incredibly responsive, helpful, and always available when needed. She also recommended some excellent services and experiences, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a truly fantastic time and would happily come back without hesitation. We highly recommend this villa!

The house has very good spaces for family living. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards every day. In addition, Celeste and Pablo cooked for us as an extra service. They were very good and very attentive. We had a great time. We would definitely come back.

We always have a wonderful time, the house is beautiful, all the views are amazing. The house is very spacious and comfortable. We spend alot of time on the huge balcony, eating, swimming and loved watching the sunrise from the balcony. It was my fourth time coming to Bacalar and the third time staying at this house. From now on o would only stay this house. The location is perfect and only 10 minute drive into town, easy to get around. I will definitely always come back and stay at this house. From the start of the booking, communication was very quick and clear at all times. Her responses were very prompt, and she kindly gave us recommendations for outings. The place is very conveniently located, less than 10 minutes from downtown, where there are good places to eat and spend time. The house has an excellent view of the lagoon and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy the lagoon (life jackets, kayaks, etc.). The pool is a good size, and there are areas for hanging out, such as a terrace with a barbecue grill. Overall, it was very well equipped; everything worked very well, the air conditioning, etc. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it.

Bacalar is a magical destination, and this house makes it even more special. The view is spectacular, the pool is perfect for relaxing, and the location is unbeatable — quiet but close to everything. The house is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. Pablo and Celeste are wonderful hosts: attentive, friendly, and mindful of every detail to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Definitely one of the best stays we've ever had. This house was beautiful and the outside space with view was super special. We loved watching the sunrises either from the patio area or down on the dock. Pretty spectacular. Brillante was very responsive with any minor thing we needed as was Pablo who was there within minutes when we needed more drinking water. Definitely recommend the house and its amenities. It’s a good 35min walk from downtown but we knew that and made arrangements to have a car during our stay. Getting a taxi is pretty easy too.

Brillantes place was gorgeous. A clean, beautiful, inviting space. The lovely couple Pablo and Celeste were the key to the entire stay however. They made sure our every need was met. When we needed paper and pen to write our vows the night before our wedding, we had them in minutes. I would stay here a thousand times again thanks to them.

Casa Sol y Luna was fantastic! We went for my sister's bachelorette. A group of 8 fit very comfortably with space to spare. Our favorite part of the house was the outside terrace which was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the incredible view. There was also a sound system that we made good use of. Some members of our group went out onto the water in the kayaks provided- lots of fun! I would highly recommend Casa Sol y Luna to families or groups of friends to relax and enjoy Bacalar.

It is a Bacalar Paradise and the house is beautiful, an ideal location for our group. Pablo was attentive to everything we needed. The view of the lagoon is perfect. All the rooms with that sunrise that you can enjoy from your bed. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay. Communication was great, the house was perfect, and we used the kayaks and paddle boards every day. The water is prettier in person than you’ve ever seen in the photos. I’ve spent a lot of time in Mexico and been to a lot of different places, and this was easily my favorite. I also have to give a special shout out to Pablo and Celeste. There were six of us on a two-week trip (Tulum, Cancun, and Bacalar), and when I asked everyone what their favorite meal was, the answer was the dinner they cooked for us. It was so good (ceviche, steak, and buttered shrimp) that we asked them to make the exact same meal again. They’re also just incredibly sweet and helpful. I’m already talking with a few friends about coming back to this exact spot. Thank you for everything!

You will be so happy you came and stayed in this home on the Bacalar Lagoon, we loved it and will return. It is the perfect location and wonderful amenities and access to the water. Our chefs Pablo and Celeste were a joy to work with for breakfast everyday with delicious meals. Our family of 5 adults loved this home and had plenty of room for 2 families or a retreat next time. We had a fantastic time at Casa Sol y Luna! The house matches the photos exactly. We had a great check in with Pablo and Celeste - they were very attentive and responsive to all our questions. We highly recommend this location- the dock was also big and sturdy and it came with kayaks, SUPs, floaties, etc. The kitchen is well stocked and has more than you need to cook!

It's an amazing place to rest, the house has everything you need to not go out. Everything is clean, the spaces are very spacious, I enjoyed my stay a lot, I would definitely do it again. Pablo is always very kind and attentive.

I had a pleasant and incredible experience with my friends at the accommodation. With a very nice view of the lagoon and the cenote, and seeing it from the pool. The bathrooms, the rooms, the kitchen, everything was very clean and tidy. The internet connection is still good! Even the person they leave in charge, "Mr. Pablo was very friendly and supported us at all times. I would repeat it again.

A wonderful and perfect place to stay for large groups (12-16 people). In addition to being an accommodation that has all the amenities you could ask for in this place (kitchen with all the utensils and seating areas, infinity pool, kayaks, paddleboards, barbecue, etc.) It is in a privileged area of Bacalar, with beautiful views and private access to the lagoon. The host is always attentive, responds immediately to any message, sends information that is required at the time, the staff who are attentive keep the place always clean and show an incredible willingness to serve the guest. I would highly recommend it. I hope to return soon!

We stayed at Casa Sol y Luna for 4 nights in June for a family trip, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! The house has a spectacular view of the lagoon, the location is excellent and super quiet. We loved the pool, the private dock and all the amenities available, which made our stay very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and well taken care of. The hosts and Mr. Pablo, part of their team, were very attentive from the first moment, always available for any questions or recommendations. You can tell that there's dedication and love in every detail of the place. There is nothing we didn't like. It is difficult to put in words how amazing our experience at Casa Sol & Luna was, you have to experience it yourself. Firstly, Bacalar is so breathtaking that no pictures you see online make it justice. The location in Bacalar is one of the best, right at Cenote Esmeralda. Next, the house is very well kept, convenient and fully equipped. You have everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay - infinity pool, room balconies, outdoor grill area, large dock, kayaks, paddle boards. Finally, the cherry on top was Pablo and Celeste! You are greeted and taken complete care of by 2 wonderful people throughout your stay. They keep the house looking pristine everyday are genuinely interested in you having a good time. We separately paid them to cook breakfast and lunch and it was the best decision of the trip. Without Pablo and Celeste our trip would not have been the same. Our entire crew loved Pablo and Celeste. Thanks Brillante for welcoming us to your amazing house and hospitality!

EXCELLENT host, from the time the payment was confirmed and until we left the house, he was ALWAYS available. Every day there was a person willing to clean (thank you Pablo), very discreet without interrupting and super helpful. The house is nicely cared for and nicely beautiful. It's worth investing to enjoy the hospitality and forget about everything.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible property right on the lagoon in Bacalar with 7 of my friends, and it exceeded all our expectations! Stunning place right by the Bacalar lagoon, perfect small infinity pool to gaze at the lagoon, own deck with kayaks, large terrace with comfy outdoor furniture and hammocks, a large dining table and a charcoal grill. We had a blast staying a few days at that place. Host was friendly and responsive. Everything went well.

This place is just like the photos, in front of the Esmeralda cenote. The view is incredible and the house is very beautiful. Brillante, the host, was always very friendly. It exceeded my expectations with extra touches that they left for us to use. We felt welcome and very well treated by Pablo and Celeste, the people who clean and who also helped us with shopping and food preparation. The house is beautiful, but what really made the experience go above and beyond was Pablo and his wife who helped us so much and were always available. They truly made us feel so welcomed. One thing to note about the location, you’re inside of a cenote which means the lagoon side is fairly deep. Great for getting picked up on a boat, but great for swimming with little ones. There are other areas with shallow areas where you can walk in the water. I didn’t think about this until we were there, but it was something I only considered after visiting Bacalar. This house is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and fully stocked. Would visit again.

Brillante’s place is beautiful! Pics are as described and almost didn’t do the place justice. The place was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfectly located and had more than enough room for our group of 8 people. We spent most of our time on the expansive deck looking over the incredible Laguna Bacalar. Brillante was an incredibly receptive and accommodating host. If you need a cook for your stay we highly recommend Chef Pedro and his crew who was recommended by Brillante. We cannot wait to come back again.

Brillante's house is spectacular! Super tidy, current, with good spaces, AC and fans when it's very hot, and the best part is that it is on the lagoon coast. It has direct and private access to the water, and has a very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay even more pleasant and enjoyable. It is super recommended for families who want to be very well located in bacalar, and to have a very comfortable and pleasant private space. Perfect location, close to many places, excellent spot to visit Bacalar

The welcome from Brillante's family was great, from the beginning we felt right at home. The communication was perfect and they were very responsive. One person was even available near the house if we needed. The house is really beautiful with stunning views of the Bacalar lagoon. The house was very clean and well-equipped. We highly recommend this house for a family stay in paradise.

The casa has a wonderful overlook of the magic lagoon as colors change over the day. Perched over cenote Esmeralda there is a way to swim through the Lilly pads to reach the shallow sections. Brilliante was pleasant to communicate with and was kind enough to to meet us for check in in person. Pablo was available to help with small things during our stay. Our group of 10 fit comfortably. Town was very close for groceries and sight seeing. Would recommend for any family vacation.

Wonderful staying here in Bacalar with a group of friends for a wedding. The owners were so accommodating with explaining to us how to order taxis, food, cleaning etc. Not too far outside of the central town and you can easily step into the lake for a swim. Thank you again for the hospitality for a group that struggled with their Spanish 😁
