We’re sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. We respectfully disagree with many of the statements in this review, which we believe greatly exaggerate minor issues. Our home has welcomed more than 200 groups of guests over the past 10 years, and many have specifically commented on its charm, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent location. As is common in Costa Rica, you may occasionally see geckos or insects despite regular pest control, and these are part of the tropical environment. We take maintenance seriously and address any legitimate issues promptly. We encourage future guests to read our many other reviews to get a balanced picture of the experience we provide.

I sent twice  some technicians, who did not find any issues with the AC, and the next guests did not experience this problem, so it's kind of a mystery,

We're surprised by your feeling of insecurity, as this is the first time in our five years of renting a property that one of our guests has expressed this type of feeling. Typically, our guests feel perfectly safe, as if in a veritable fortress, thanks to the high walls surrounding the property. In fact, we've never had any thefts or break-ins. Please read the other reviews; they all reflect a sense of peacefulness.

Hi Tilya,<br/>Your review comes as a real surprise, especially since we never heard from you during your stay. If things were as bad as you now claim, it would’ve been expected—and appreciated—that you reach out. We are always available to resolve any concerns in real time.<br/>Instead, we only found out afterward—when your group left the house in unacceptable condition. The kitchen was left filthy, there were makeup stains on the bedding and towels, and hair extensions were left in the backyard. We also found hair extensions in the shower, and we had never seen the bedrooms left in such a dirty state. This level of disregard for the property is extremely disrespectful and not something we take lightly.<br/>We take great care of this home with regular maintenance and cleaning, and guest feedback has consistently reflected that. Your experience simply does not match the reality expressed by the vast majority of our visitors.<br/>We hope you take greater care and responsibility in future stays elsewhere.
