Thank you for your thoughtful review and for highlighting the beauty of our home—we’re so glad it was a great fit for your group and that you enjoyed your holiday overall. Thankfully, we are very clear in our listing to show that a car is needed for our property. We also appreciate your helpful notes about the tiles and local infrastructure challenges. While those issues were unfortunately beyond our control, we understand how they may have impacted your experience, and we truly regret any inconvenience. Thankfully, the water issue was found prior to your group running out of this very valuable amenity and we were able to resolve that one.<br/>We also want to acknowledge your comments regarding communication and tone of it. We always strive to be as responsive and accommodating as possible, and we're glad we were able to connect you with excellent chef services after the follow-up. Part of the conversation that was left out, was that your group tried to cancel one of the chef services day of, and we spent the better part our Sunday morning, and then evening (which is a Costa Rican rest and family day), trying to work around it, and make something work for both your group and the chef. There was not an acknowledgment of gratitude in that entire day, even when we offered ourselves to purchase the food made for the additional people that could not make the evening last minute. I believe that says more about you, than us. Regarding the birthday massage arrangements—our goal was to assist with very short notice and tight timing constraints, for a fun birthday surprise, which did create some logistical challenges. While we worked hard to try and make it happen, we're sorry if the communication came off as anything less than helpful during that process.<br/>We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify this perspective, especially given that we work so hard to make each guest's stay as amazing as possible. Thankfully, most of our guests are super appreciative and kind towards our gestures and hard work. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us.
