This was a fantastic find for our multi-generational visit to San Miguel. The hosts worked together as a team to help us enjoy San Miguel, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great week. The property is lovely and in a great location.

The house was better than even the great pictures show. San Miguel was a beautiful city. Everything we could have wanted was in walking range.

We visited San Miguel with friends for my husband's 50th birthday. Huertas 22 was the perfect stay for us! Everything is clean and well-kept, it's a beautiful property, and there was more than enough room for the 7 of us. Each of the rooms was beautiful, well-appointed, and private. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop which had amazing views, and it was fun and easy to send our wine and other items up in the dumbwaiter :) The location was great - walkable to anywhere in town. Alfonso was lovely; he met us for check-in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. They were very responsive and helpful. The included breakfast was a great start to every morning, and all of the staff was friendly and quickly cleaned the whole place every day. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at Huertas 22 again!

Words can hardly describe the beauty of this house. And if you are looking at this house, it is worth every peso. Hotel style amenities with daily housekeeping. Each morning there is a five star breakfast of yogurt and granola, fresh tropical fruit, pancakes, and a personal cook preparing egg dishes and other Mexican style breakfasts. This was by far the most accommodating AirBnB experience. The hosts are great and the in house staff is even better. Located just blocks from the city center it was easy to go everywhere, and very quiet at night. This is truly a fantastic discovery, reserve it now!!

This is a beautiful home and a perfect area in the city. My family and I came for a family getaway and it served all of our needs. Casa Huertas was outstanding. Check-in was seamless and the team was fantastic throughout our stay. Alfonso handled every detail perfectly—even grabbing groceries so we could make rooftop cocktails. The location is ideal. We never needed a car and always felt completely safe walking everywhere. The rooftop is the highlight. The views are phenomenal—honestly better than the Rosewood, and with much cheaper drinks. We even had breakfast served up there most mornings. Breakfast was excellent: fresh-squeezed orange juice, homemade dishes, and incredible chilaquiles. The house keeps its traditional San Miguel charm but is thoughtfully updated. Great water pressure, consistent hot water, and very comfortable overall. We would absolutely return.

The space was beautiful - everything we wanted and more. The rooftop was definitely the highlight - our group definitely spent the most time up there enjoying the fire pit and views. Breakfast every morning was such a luxury. Made for a great start every day, and once you step outside you're right by the heart of the town. Alfonso was amazing - always checking in and making sure we were comfortable. He was easy to reach and communicate with, and he responded quickly any time we had a request.

Casa Huertas is one of our all-time favorite vacation homes; the pictures do not do it justice and the location is simply perfect. Each bedroom is well-appointed, and both private and shared spaces abound. Each stairway leads to another hidden delight, none better than the flight up to the roof deck with a rooftop bar, lounge area with fire table, and spa - all with spectacular views of SMA's major sites. The well-decorated and comfortable home is only half the story. The staff is spectacular; they showed up early every morning and cooked amazing breakfasts, cleaned each room, tended to the spa, and went above-and-beyond to make our visit feel like a family visit. They also guided us to some local favorites - of which we now have many. SMA is a truly lovely, safe and welcoming city - perfect for families, wedding parties, foodies, art lovers - or folks just looking for some fun. Highly recommended.

This home is stunning—beautifully designed and perfectly located within walking distance of everything in San Miguel de Allende. It’s spacious enough for multiple families, with gorgeous Mexican architecture and thoughtful details that make it feel like a small, luxurious castle. There are many outdoor spaces to relax, and the indoor-outdoor layout fills the home with natural light. The rooftop deck was our favorite spot, offering amazing views of the bullring, the church, and nightly fireworks. We even caught a concert there and enjoyed watching U.S. football on the rooftop TV. Every corner of the home feels special. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfasts they prepared each morning were delicious. Alfonso was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would love to return with my family to explore more of the area. Just book it—you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed at Casa Huertas with 8 friends celebrating three 50th birthdays, and it was perfect! The house is stunning, spacious, and full of charm. Each couple had their own private suite, and the common areas and patios were ideal for relaxing. The rooftop terrace is the crown jewel with gorgeous views over the plaza de toros. The staff was amazing—thank you Lorena, Angles, Eduardo, and Manuela for incredible breakfasts and Alex and Alfonso for a flawless dinner. Huge thanks to Isela and Alfonso, the wonderful house managers—Isela was super responsive, and Alfonso made sure we had everything we needed. Casa Huertas is perfect for families or friends. We can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent place, beautiful! We loved feeling at home. The included breakfast was very tasty. The host is very kind, he answered all our questions, supported us with transfers and was attentive to us at all times. We will definitely return.

This is a beautiful house. Views are spectacular. The house staff is accommodating and friendly. San Miguel is a wonderful place to visit. The house is on a steep street. If older, taking a taxi back from city square works well and is inexpensive. Would certainly come back and highly recommend.

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning and spacious casa! It was the perfect home base for our group of girls—a beautifully designed space with plenty of room for everyone to relax, recharge, and enjoy each other’s company. The neighborhood felt safe and was easily walkable, with charming spots just minutes away. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for, anticipating our needs and making every moment feel special. It was an unforgettable experience we’ll be talking about for years.

An amazing house in a great location. We were a large group and this house was perfect for us. It’s clean and beautifully decorated. The views are amazing. The staff that cook breakfast and assist with housekeeping and laundry were so helpful. The breakfast they cooked was delicious. This is a great house and definitely worth booking!

This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. The house is big even for a party of 12. Having morning breakfast prepared in the house was excellent. Very friendly staff. Walkable to Centro, although San Miguel in general hilly, so be prepared to walk uphill. We were able to walk to and from Centro almost every day. The Bedrooms in the house are private with lots of common ares for a large group to gather and talk, play games etc. The rooftop area and the view from there is exceptional. Isela was very responsive and Alfonso and the rest of the staff were always available and quick to accommodate our requests. If we are ever back in San Miguel de Allende, this is the place we would stay at.

One of the best Airbnb‘s I have ever stayed at and I travel quite a bit. I was very impressed by the place. The place was huge and the host extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to use the house in the future for a milestone birthday. For those searching for a wonderful place to stay in San Miguel de Allende I would seriously consider this place.

Wow! Honestly so many great things about this trip/ stay. My husband and I took our kids and nanny with us for a wedding and this house worked SO WELL with our family. First of all the staff was INCREDIBLE. Alfonso made sure my kids had food delivered to the house while we were at wedding festivities. He didn’t have to do that, but he went above and beyond! My kids, especially daughter loved the ladies who take care of the house. She’d go hug them every morning. The house itself is SO beautiful and spacious! If you can book this, you will not be disappointed! We hope to go back to visit casa huertas 22 and their staff in the future !

WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!! From the time of booking until the time we had to leave (We did not want to), the experience was amazing. Isela and Alfonso hosted us in the most beautiful and comfortable home in San Miguel. The house was perfect for th 6 of us with enough space to vacation together, but for each couple to have their own space in the house. The team that arrived to cook breakfast every morning was amazing and great food was fresh made and enjoyed by all. From the fruit, coffee, juices, eggs, and enchiladas it was a great way to start your day. The house is decorated very well and the sun deck on the top floor is where wee found ourselves spending most of the time. We enjoyed the breeze, sunsets, and hot tub all while relaxing with drinks and snacks. We will stay with them again and are already looking at when we can return later this year. San Miguel is a great city and Casa Huertas 22 takes it to the ultimate stay. Thank you

We loved this place. We were a group of four friends: my husband and I, our best girlfriend, and another friend. My friend and I just completed our PhDs last year, so this trip was a bit of a celebration. The house was fantastic. We each had our own separate wings but could meet up on the roof, kitchen, or any of the other cozy places to laugh, enjoy delicious food and a few drinks, play cards and just enjoy each other's company. The house and the hosts provided an incredible backdrop for the experience. Moreover, San Miguel de Allende is charming. It's my third visit--and, I will be back!

The house was beautiful and was as described. Beautiful roof deck with hot tub (we did not use) and it overlooked bull ring with great city views including the church that was lit at night. The main streets were minutes away but some of the streets were a little hilly with cobblestone streets but with good "sidewalks". We are in our 50's-early 70.

Casa Huertas was beautiful! The location was great and very close to town. Alfonso met us at check in and helped us get all situated. He was responsive throughout the weekend and was helpful as he got us some groceries ahead of our arrival. We had a small situation in one of the bathrooms where we couldn’t get hot water. That was no problem because we had several other bathrooms to choose from that did have hot water! The ladies who prepared breakfast every morning were wonderful cooks and the meals were very good. We had a great weekend at Casa Huertas #22.

Hosts were extremely accommodating and thoughtful in planning our catered dinner celebration.

Casa Huerta is even more beautiful than the listing can show - we had friends who come to SM every year that were floored to see it. There isn’t a detail overlooked - we spent a lot of time at the house due to having babies/toddlers, and you could truly make yourself at home. The huge hot tub was perfect for a kiddie pool during the day, and then a hot tub at night for the adults. We enjoyed playing music on the tv behind the bar next to the hot tub and enjoying the views of the city, and the breakfast staff every morning was kind, helpful, and made delicious meals. Alfonso was also so responsive and helpful. It’s a treat to stay here and will definitely be back.

Our stay at Casa Huertas was incredible! Though we'd seen the rave reviews and photos, we were in awe the moment we arrived; it's impossible to capture the beauty of this home in photos - from the architectural character and art in every room to the breathtaking rooftop views. Alfonso greeted us upon arrival, gave us a wonderful tour, and helped arrange airport transfer for our guests. The location couldn't have been better, beds were extremely comfortable, and waking up to delicious chilaquiles for breakfast was icing on the cake. Would hands down recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience!

Had an unbelievable experience at Casa Huertas. The included daily breakfast was amazing. The location, house, staff and the views are all fantastic. Have been to SM many times and stated at many properties and hotels. This is by far the best deal. We had a dinner for 12 people at the rooftop and Alfonso took care of everything. Couldn’t be happier with the way he and the staff treated us. Thanks again for everything, hope to come back soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Huertas, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The service was absolutely phenomenal—Alfonso and the staff were super attentive and responsive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The location couldn't have been more ideal, and the photos simply don’t do justice to how beautiful the house is in person. We hosted a dinner for 10 people on the rooftop, and it was amazing. Additionally, the delicious daily breakfast service was a delightful start to each day. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the immaculate interiors to the stunning surroundings. Since you get breakfast and rooms cleaned every day, I’d take it any time over any hotel - including Belmond and rosewood (I’ve stayed at both and this is better)

We loved the colonial rustic feel of the house. Our favorite part was the rooftop terrace/bar which we used daily to gather, drink, and snack. It was such a warm and beautiful house. Lot's of room to explore and enjoy. Will definitely recommend and rent this house again.

Wow! Absolutely stunning property! Was way better than the pictures! We had our son’s wedding in this beautiful town and Casa Huertas was easily the best air bonbon our whole group. Walkable to almost everything. Very flexible times for breakfast. Alfonso was super responsive and stocked our fridge on the last night with beer and wine (which of course we didn’t finish!). The breakfasts were terrific as well. The favorite part of the house was the incredible rooftop. Heated jetted pool, large bar area fire pit, couches AND the best view of the mountains and sunset in lol of San Miguel! We also hosted a family welcome dinner for 25 people and the food and service was top notch. The ceviche was easily the best we had in all of San Miguel. They provided a bartender and two servers. What a perfect evening! You do NOT need to look elsewhere. This is an amazing house!

I have traveled the world, stayed in amazing hotels, villas and houses. Huertas is right up there with some of the best I have stayed at. I have been to different parts of Mexico dozens of times growing up, from rural to tourist locations. I wanted an authentic experience being our first time in San Miguel but also wanted luxury and this delivered. From the moment you cross the old rustic front door you walk in to a modern villa that is carefully designed to represent all that is magical about San Miguel. The rooftop view is spectacular, the location is central to everything. Isela the host was super responsive, even brought us dominoes and cards when we asked if there was any in the house. The breakfast and staff was excellent. It was a wonderful stay and would come back to Huertas in heartbeat.

Our staying at Huertas 22 was delightful! The house architecture and design was very well designed, my family loved the top roof and the breathtaking sunrises 🌅 and sunsets!! The weather was perfect.. Amazing history, Tasty food and super friendly people!! We had a blast at San Miguel de Allende!! I will totally recommend it to anyone.

Casa Huertas was perfect for our family getaway. It is truly a beautiful home with comfortable furniture, nice artwork, plants, fountains, and rooftop dining space and bar. Its spaciousness allowed us to find separate and quiet places to read, play games, watch movies, etc., while providing larger spaces to meet together without feeling cramped in any way. The bedrooms were substantial, very clean and comfortable, each with its own bathroom and terrace. The breakfasts were substantial with fresh fruit, fresh juices, fresh baked goods and our choice of eggs, tostadas, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Alphonso, our primary contact, was terrific. The location in central San Miguel allowed us to walk most places and yet was not in the actual center of town where the noise level might have been high. We would definitely return to Casa Huertas and have already recommended it to friends.

Beautiful place, Alfonso and the super attentive staff!! The breakfast is super rich !!

Great location. Walking distance to town center. You can easily Uber anywhere else. House is beautifully decorated and architecture is amazing. Quintessential San Miguel! Lots of space and balconies, fireplaces, patios and sitting areas. House staff arrive early to cook breakfast and clean/make beds and are gone by noon. Access to the house is on an inclined road and house has multiple levels (topmost level has an amazing view of a bull ring, has a fire pit, jacuzzi and bar area). We did not mind the stairs or the incline but it should to be taken into consideration if anyone in your group can't walk up stairs routinely (or have small kids). Alfonso, the house manager is super attentive/accomodating and on call 24/7 it seemed. We communicated with him on Whats app. We stayed Christmas through New Years. Outdoor temperature was 45-65 F. The bedrooms were a bit cold at night in spite of the AC/Heater. Overall, Casa Huertas 22 gets two thumbs up and exceeded our expectations!

The house at 22 Huertas is elegant, spacious, and comfortable. We were 8 couples traveling together and it was excellent accomodation for us. The bedrooms are essentially divided between two wings so there is plenty of privacy. The staff were helpful and efficient. They prepared a hearty breakfast for us each morning. The house is easy walking to the zocalo, shopping and dining. Note however that it is located at the edge of where the neighborhood becomes hilly. The block of Huertas where the house is situated is quite steep and anyone with mobility issues should be aware of this. This was my third visit to San Miguel and I have stayed in a different house each time so I think I have the experience to accurately judge the quality of this rental. With that being said, I can definitely recommend a stay at 22 Huertas.

The house is beautiful, very spacious. Very comfortable to walk around downtown, all the bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. The breakfast they offered us was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They made it very easy for us to arrive a little earlier and leave a little later. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house and very peaceful neighborhood with walking distance to the main plaza and church. Alfonso was very nice and attentive. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious! The ladies are very good cooks and provided us with great service. We had a great time and can't wait to come back!

Booking: While booking the property we had a few questions prior to confirmation. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. They helped with planning our transportation to and from the airport, as well as chef prepared on-site dinner, flowers, etc. Checking In: Alfonso was so kind to meet us at the property and ensure a smooth check-in. He even tried to assist with all of our luggage! So kind. During the Stay: Alfonso checked on us during our stay. Sent an HVAC tech out when one of the areas wasn't working properly. We were completely fine, but he sent someone and repaired same day. The breakfast prepared by the house staff was custom each morning and great. The house staff was so kind to help with any request. The home: The home is exactly as pictured and even better in person. The rooftop is where you will spend most of your time. The location: The home couldn't be in a better location. Walkable to anything and everything. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for having us!

What a beautiful house! Well designed and solidly built. All the rooms had lots of space with big comfortable beds, closets and great bathrooms. The verandas, balconies and roof patio were awesome. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the roof with a great view of the city. I don't know what the style of the building is, but it was beautifully reminiscent of old world style, but with modern appointments. The house was 5-10 minutes walk of the main church and town square (with lots of great restaurants, shops in that area). But it was still secluded and quiet area. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Alfonso came over personally to help with check in, give a tour of the house, explain everything. He also came over when we had a question which he could have answered over texts, but preferred to help in person. The breakfast service was delicious, prepared by a friendly and accommodating staff. The stay felt luxurious with that level of service. Highly recommend this!

Our stay was so stunning on many levels. It began with our check in and first evening at Casa Huertas. Our group of 8 had all arrived from different area of the US so we asked the house staff to prepare a meal for us to have at the house. It was a magnificent feast including margaritas and wine served in the rooftop at sunset. It was so good, we arranged another meal for our last night in San Miguel. The property’s location is minutes from the cathedral, shopping, restaurants, parks, bars. Our days began with a delicious breakfast prepared for us in the house which launched us into the day’s adventures. The pool on the rooftop was enjoyed at the end of the day. There are many nooks to seek a bit of solitude or a quiet conversation with beautiful art, fixtures, fountains, and deeply cushioned chairs. The WiFi allowed us to remain connected with those at home. Looking forward to a return visit.

I've stayed in SMA 3 times and this house is my favorite of all. The pictures don't do it justice- it is so much better in person. The rooftop is spectacular! The rooftop has comfortable and modern furniture, a bar, and a jacuzzi; perfect for enjoying a meal and having a drink. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The best chilaquiles I've had. I will definitely be back!

We had a large family and many guests. This place had plenty of room to accommodate a large crowd as we entertained. As a family, we were very comfortable there. Importantly, we were able to stay cool with fans and AC units. The cooks prepared and waited for us at breakfast to serve us. They accommodated all our food requests and cooked well. The only issue we had was the lack of hot water, although Alfonso quickly came to correct that. The rooftop has a nice bar area, a nice view, and a hot tub which we used but had to be filled regularly to keep it warm. We would select this Air B&B again if we return to San Miguel de Allende.

That place is beautiful, clean and very close to downtown, the workers and cooks are very friendly. Definitely a good stay.

This home was a dream. Most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Our party of 8 (ranging in ages from 10-75) loved every nook and cranny of this amazing house. The on premise staff cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and we came home to a clean and refreshed home each day. The location was just a few blocks to all the things you want to see. The host was extremely responsive and helped us with everything we needed, even securing a ride to our next destination in Mexico. Five stars! 🌟

You felt like you had a private villa and it was fun to have a lot of space to congregate. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. Truly a magical location and stay! Thank you again for the best stay!

This is an amazing house in a great location, very close to the town center. Isela and her team were extremely accommodating and responsive. We were in town for a wedding and our group of friends, consisting of five couples, split the house. We were surprised at how much space we all had, plenty of room for everyone. Upon arriving we found out that the hot tub on the roof functions more as a large outdoor bathtub, you fill and drain it with each use. That’s the only thing that caught us by surprise. After filling it we realized how easy it was to use, we just had to plan hot tubbing in advance because it takes a while to fill/drain. The included breakfasts were an amazing touch, a great way to start each day together! While we ate breakfast the staff would turn all the beds which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return someday!

A 5 star rating for this property is not enough! What a great place to stay. The home is outstanding. It is not only large in size but also very well kept. With its 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 2 half baths there was so much space for our entire group (2 families). The rooftop is amazing with a great view! Delicious breakfast is served every morning by an incredible team who not only cooks delicious food but also provide the best service with an incredible attitude and always with a smile on their faces. They have daily cleaning which makes the stay even better. The location is excellent as well. It is only a 7 minute walk to the center of town. On the way back, the only thing that makes it a "bit" tough is the steepness of the last block. But the home, service and amenities make the walk back worth it. You can always Uber or take a taxi if you want to avoid it. My family and friends highly recommend this property. You will have the best time and we are hoping to be back.

Amazing house with beautiful views of San Miguel and right next to the plaza de Torros. Daily breakfast was amazing. Definitely recommend and hope to be back again soon.

We loved our stay here! The rooftop of the house has an unbelievable view of the Parroquia, and we enjoyed the most delicious breakfast the next morning set up by the host.

Isela was friendly and very responsive, she gave me Alfonso’s contact information and he was also very helpful and responsive. The house was extremely spacious and amazing in every aspect imaginable. Each room had its own private bathroom and every single one was spotless clean. The rooftop had one of the best views in the city and it was at most a 6 minute walk from the main church and all the bars and restaurants. Although the restaurants were close by, the food at the house was better than some of the breakfast spots around the city. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean spacious spot.

Casa Huertas was a gorgeous location for our group of artists. Each bedroom was perfectly appointed with crisp sheets and comfy beds. The bathrooms were large and roomy and private. There were plenty of seating areas but the kitchen and dining room were where we hung out most. Perfect location and not too far up the hill, but we did have a friend with a bad knee, so she had to taxi. All great and miss it already!

Beautiful lovely place for a group. Everyone had their privacy yet plenty of places to hang out. It is much prettier than the pictures and we all enjoyed the home and the breakfasts were delicious too! We were told to enjoy we were in vacation and we did just that. Alfonso was very attentive as were the ladies at the souse everyday.

Spectacular house! All the rooms are comfortable and all have their own bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely repeat. Excellent communication and they helped us with everything. Delicious breakfasts. Nothing bad to say.

By far, Casa Huertas exceeded our expectations. The property is very spacious, neat, clean, beautifully decorated. The location is great, very centrally located. Isela and Alfonso were excellent! We were able to drop our bags early with the airbnb, breakfast every day was great, the rooms and place were fantastic and beautiful, and the experience was amazing. Alfonso sent above and beyond and checked on our hot water later in the night and Isela helped us get massages at the airbnb. It was a blast and we’d return to this exact place next time!
