E-Mail communication with Luxe was very responsive, timely and informative. The condo and property grounds are gorgeous and the pictures are accurate. The area is private with security guards around 24x7. We felt very safe, we even went for a couple of moonlit beach walks with no issues The barbeque started many of our meals and the kitchen was equipped to handle any meal we could think up. There is a small market on the property, but it is a 15 minute drive to a full service grocery store. I gave Luxe 4 stars for his property instead of 5, because 4 days prior to check in we were informed that there was a "new" 100 Peso per person, per day resort fee. We had to pay an additional $376 USD to be able to use all the described (and pictured) facilities. I feel this should have been include in the Airbnb rental price and (a month later) his property description has not been updated to include or even mention this additional fee. We would consider staying at La Amada in the future.

The apartment itself was beautiful... the remote location made it very quiet, but la Amada is definitely designed for owners/long-term stays, versus short-term vacations. The facilities are beautiful, but very difficult to find staff to access, a number of things were closed, and the only restaurant within miles closes at 6pm, so we were a bit unprepared. The kitchen is stocked, but range did not reliably work, which without restaurants, is problematic. Mainly; I would recommend the place for adults only. The owners live next door and they were incredibly friendly, but one of their dogs was very aggressive towards our kids and caused significant issues, even an injury. ... A large cabinet in the kitchen is not bolted to the wall, and fell on my husband- luckily not one of our kids. The pools and beach were fantastic, so I would consider booking the apartment again, knowing more what to expect the second time.

Perfect place if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation. Main level walkout literally steps to the beach was a huge plus. Outdoor covered patio great for lounging. Spacious & well decorated. Comfortable beds & everything was in working order. Kitchen was well equipped, (maybe a little too much), but could use some organizing & deep cleaning. Kitchen layout is not great. Cooking wasn’t our goal so the small stovetop and sink were not an issue. There was a nice grill on the patio. Pablo and management team were great & very responsive, good contact but not overly so. We had a couple of questions on use & location of some amenities. They answered quickly. Couple of FYI items; 1) The onsite restaurant is very good, but closes at 6 PM. If you plan on eating offsite, you will need a car, or purchase groceries in advance. 2) There are security people but be cautious, (we had a backpack stolen from the beach while swimming). Lock valuables in the safe & keep the many sliding doors locked
