7BR Villa in Nuevo Vallarta

Excellent, 5 months ago

This was an incredible spot for our group stay! We had 14 people, and the layout worked perfectly. The property included two separate houses connected by a backyard, plus a cabana, so it felt very roomy. One thing to note: renting golf carts is not optional. The hill is very steep, and getting luggage up and down without them would be tough. We rented with the company Yarib recommended and had a great experience. That said, being up on the hill was one of the best parts—it felt very private, safe, and secluded, and the views were unbeatable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable with three fantastic pools. The house manager and the owner, Yarib, were wonderful and very responsive. The only reason for the 4-star rating was our arrival experience. We traveled with a large group and a lot of luggage, and our van was unable to make it up the very steep driveway. After a long day of traveling, we had to carry heavy suitcases and groceries up the steep uphill driveway, which is about 70 yards long. This was especially challenging since I was traveling with my elderly great aunt, who became quite out of breath. I would caution anyone bringing elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additionally, there was construction taking place during our stay. Because of the noise and the workers positioned above the pool area with a clear view, we didn’t feel comfortable using the pool with the otherwise amazing view. Aside from these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay.

The house is beautiful but it is a bit difficult to access because the streets are steep, with 4x4 there was no problem, other cars have a harder time. The views are spectacular, and the pools are very nice. I don't recommend going with seniors or people with disabilities, accessibility is very complicated for them. The house is very clean and fresh inside. There are insects outside but nothing unusual because it is a jungle area. I recommend bringing repellent :) Some air conditioners above the beds drip cold water a little, nothing serious, but it may surprise you. But it's amazing to have air conditioning throughout the house! During storms the power can go out, it happened to us, so be careful during the season. We really enjoyed our stay, we would go again. Thank you!

This was a great place for our large family vacation. We enjoyed the privacy of the two homes along with the 3 pools and beautiful views. It is no joke when the listing says you may need a 4x4 to get up the hill. With 11 people, our van was not able to make it up. If you are in this situation, have your driver park at the bottom and hire a taxi to shuttle luggage and everyone up the hill. That was our only hiccup and we greatly enjoyed the rest of the time after checking in.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Yarib’s home. We were a group of 12 adults and we had the most amazing trip celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. The house is insanely beautiful, and with golf cart rentals we found it easy to zip into town. The site manager was so responsive throughout our visit, and check in and check out were easy. If you are traveling with a big group to Sayulita, you won’t find a better option than this!

Villas Piedra Blanca was everything our group could have asked for. Yarib and Martin had great communication and made check in and check out seamless. We had 10 adults and 5 kids ranging from age 11 to 1. The space was perfect, there are many different areas to swim, hang out, play, and relax. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. We stayed 5 nights and the cleaners came a couple times throughout our stay, plus someone cleaned the pools every morning. The property is well cared for and it shows. We enjoyed dinners, happy hours and swims, while watching the beautiful sunset. The view is truly unbelievable and the property is amazing. If you have a large group and need a place that will accommodate everyone, this is it!

Yarib's place was perfect for our group bachelorette trip. He was very communicative, accommodating and helpful as he provided us with great local recommendations and services. We organized an amazing private dinner at the Airbnb with Chef Francisco of Altier Catering and used Jaguar Taxi (our driver Hector was great) to get to the airport and around town. The villa has amazing views as described but it is located at the top of several steep hills which can be challenging if you are not prepared. We rented golf carts to get to and from the town which worked out well (except for one night when it rained). Overall, the home is amazing and you will have a great stay here!

Host Response

Thanks so much for the kind words about our services at Villas Piedra Blanca. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your experience! We are looking forward to see you back soon!

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay, 1000% beyond expectations. The home(s), landscaping and 3 (3!!!!) pools were gorg. So many different areas to hang out, depending on your groups vibe. Aside from the house, I have to give Martín, the house manager, all of the accolades. There were a few hiccups with electricity which is to be expected during rainy season, and Martín was so responsive and kind and helpful. Just an absolutely wonderful person to work with. Thank you Yarib and Martín for making my best friends bachelorette party even more over the top than I ever expected!!

Amazing house. It’s actually two houses on the same property. Only thing to be mindful of is the steep hill it’s on. Some Ubers / golf carts can’t make the climb. Pictures don’t do it justice, views and house setup is awesome. Host is great and so is the manager. Take host recommendations for travel, it was very helpful.

You MUST stay here! The pictures do not even do the place justice. We hosted a bachelorette weekend here with 12 ladies and it was the most perfect location and venue. Not only is it incredibly stunning and clean (the pools and view are unreal!) but the host and property manager were very helpful in planning and organizing our vacation weekend which made for a seamless experience. We felt very safe and cared for. I HIGHLY recommend booking this villa for your stay/event in Sayulita!

CONSTRUCTION review: We didn't have any problems with the construction. It WAS noisy like typical construction and you can see it if you are right on the edge of the pools. However, we stayed mostly over a weekend and spent a lot of time in the town. But one day we stayed at the top pool and had music going... we couldn't hear the construction from up there (unless you went down to the bottom pools so we knew it was happening). They were there I think around 9 and stayed until about 6 that day. I didn't notice it when I was inside. I think this place for the price cannot be beat. You should stay here. Everything about Sayulita is so charming. First off, it was chance I lucked about this because I was searching to fly into PVR. We stayed both at an all-inclusive in PVR and then a few days in Sayulita. We also happened to stay during the anniversary of the town and were entertained by the dancing cabellos, extra vendors, and the carnival. As someone who has traveled to 24 countries, I love that Sayulita hasn't been overly westernized but still modernized and comfortable. Now to the house, it was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Make sure you use a Sayulita transportation service because no one else knows how to find it (although it wasn't difficult). The sunsets from the house were some of the best I have ever seen... We grilled while we were there... it was fun to gather all the ingredients from town using the golf cart... then we also enjoyed delicious street tacos, Don Pedros, Chocobanana, and plenty of free tequila shots. There were 14 of us, adults from ages 19-80. We all had plenty of space but enjoyed the bottom patio most all together. Marvin was a great host, he was readily available and helpful whenever we needed help. And his coffee is great! (I'm still enjoying some beans I brought home). Yarib is super kind as well. She has excellent customer service skills and answered my numerous questions! I will note that we were celebrating my grandparents 60th anniversary. They both had some trouble getting up and down the steep hills and stairs so we only went up to the top pool once with them. Just a note if you aren't super mobile....

We had such a wonderful stay at Yarib's Hilltop Home in Sayulita. The views are absolutely incredible and the golf cart access made getting to town super easy! We all felt at home and had an incredible time. We absolutely will be having all of our family & friend reunions in Sayulita here.

Host Response

I'm so glad you had a great time in our villas, and we are looking forward to have you back soon for another special celebration.

THE BEST HOUSE EVER. - First off, the photos does not do this estate any justice. The property is beautiful! You have to see it for yourself!!! - Check In was seamless...although not going to lie - we arrived right before sunset, and got stuck outside mesmerized by the VIEWS!! - Yarib was a dream host. Quick to reply, and provided excellent recommendations. - House has everything you need! Even a yoga mat and a grassy area to picnic on. So amazing. - Our groups started humming the Jurassic park themes song every time the gate opened and closed. Youll do it too!! That how gorgeous his place is. - If safety is your concern, worry not! Yarib has security system installed, not to mention you are basically in a castle at the top of a hill completely fenced in by 15 for high walls. You’re good! - the Golf Cart was a real treat! Made it easy to zoom in and out of town...but don’t forget to “cool the wires down after the initial hill” haha (I know that doesn’t make sense to you now...but you’ll get it once you stay here) - I should also mention the house keepers were so nice....did not expect to get the house changed over (cleaned) twice during our stay. That was a real treat! Especially for my large group of 15. - if you’ve read up to this part, you have to be hooked. Book it!
