The Casita de Santa María in Malinalco is a fantastic property, much better than what's shown in the photos. The house is large and cozy, and the garden is a tropical rainforest with wonderful plants and trees.

This is the second time we have stayed at Santiago's place, because we love it. It is a spacious, comfortable house with plenty of space, green areas, a comfortable kitchen, and best of all, the pool, with warm, clean water! The service from Santiago and Irineo is always excellent!!

Great place to spend a weekend with friends or family.

I would like to say that the place looks like the photos, but the reality is that it is a thousand times better than that. If this accommodation is within your options, I recommend that you discard all the others and stay at this place. The place is very nice. Everything is as Santiago mentions. The property is very spacious. If you bring pets, they will enjoy it. The pool has the perfect temperature, the kitchen is spacious and equipped, and the beds are very clean. The center is a few blocks away on foot and there is a street market, so you will find a variety of food. Irineo, who takes care of the house, welcomes you and is available for your needs. The temazcal is an additional service, but it is very well organized, and you can be a beginner or advanced. You will enjoy it with Juan. Santiago is very flexible and always responds very quickly. The house is really nice. I would say it's a house that has a soul. It is very well located, it is tastefully decorated and the layout of the bedrooms and other spaces allow you to share with your family but also isolate yourself for a little more tranquility. Clementina, who helped us with food for 30 people, is a real gem. I recommend this house 100% to spend a few days with the family.

It's the best Airbnb home I've ever stayed in in Mexico, the photos can't do it justice, large, with a lot of privacy, with everything you need to be comfortable, the landscape of the incredible mountains in the background, the perfect pool with the perfect temperature, my dogs were free and happy, I'm sure we'll be back!

It was a good experience, I liked that the pool could heat itself and it didn't use gas. Likewise, Mr. Irineo was very attentive to us.

Santiago's house is spectacular. This is full of details that make you feel at home. Everything is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the pillows are delicious. There were 14 of us and we were all very comfortable. The pool temperature is perfect thanks to the solar panels. I would definitely come back.

Excellent place, I went with my friends and the house is amazing, the photos don't do it justice for how beautiful it is, very comfortable, cozy, Santiago was very friendly and very present in what was needed, the person who helps was also very accurate in what was needed, the pool is delicious, being heated with solar, he let us enjoy them all night, the kitchen is fully equipped and with many extra things that allow you to cook and prepare everything, honestly the place is very worth it, highly recommended and certainly a place to return soon

I spent two very pleasant nights, the location is ideal, very close to downtown, the house is BEAUTIFUL, I like the rustic style, the house is full of details in every corner, treasures I would say, the house is rented as if they were living there, the kitchen has everything you need, there were 15 of us and the stove was perfect, there are too many places to hang out, the pool was at a very pleasant temperature, we wanted it a little warmer and it was enough to ask for a few hours of boiler, there is a big garden, fruit trees, so it is to be expected that there are many insects outside, however it is noticeable that they fumigate often since there are no animals inside, the barbecue area and beds are very nice and with several tables, the bedrooms are like something out of a period soap opera, the beds, duvets and pillows are clean and very comfortable, the showers are comfortable and hot water is available at all times, good wifi, I took my dogs and they also had a good time, Don Irineo the manager is very attentive, I will definitely return

Santiago is very friendly and attended to all my messages and requests. It is a beautiful, comfortable and large house with lots of vegetation and we were surprised that there were no insects, not even mosquitoes. Irineo the candlelight that is available 24 hours for whatever you need helped us to light the fire at night, we dine around this one and burn sausages and chocolates. Mrs. Clementina very cute made us a rich breakfast. The pool is clean and warm, if it gets cold you can ask them to turn on the boiler. Sientes Seguridad because è Irineo taking care of the house is also well located, surrounded by houses. It is a few steps from the kiosk where there is everything, restaurants, pharmacy. Two and a half blocks away is a local where they sell good barbecue. Of the 6 rooms, the two largest are the one with the armchair and the one with the crib. But all pretty. Santiago allowed us to bring our dog and he was happy. I recommend it, we had a great time. Thank you Santiago. We would be back

This place was even nicer than described. The garden and bedrooms were larger than anticipated and there were plenty of common areas that could accommodate all 10 of us to eat, cook, and play games. Irineo was very helpful for check-in/out and even brought us firewood and started a fire in the fireplace on the first night after we asked. The pool was warm and clean. I lost my Bluetooth speaker on the last day, but the host has assured me they have found it and will send it to me in the mail–the communication and service were above and beyond.

The accommodation is super father, very clean and spacious, the pool is very rich, internet in all areas of the house, a super parent garden, in general terms we had a great time; perhaps, the only detail is the noise towards the rooms that face the street where there is a lot of vehicular and pedestrian traffic... Without a doubt, it is a place that I could visit more than once; max, which is very close to downtown (7-10 min walk), the decoration and styles of the residence gives it a very special touch...

Ideal. Beautiful colonial-style house, more spacious than what you see in the photos. From older adults to young people and children, we find fun spaces. And they allowed us to bring our dog. Well-kept pool with ideal temperature. Beautiful gardens cared for by Irineo. We used the grill for meat and the wood-fire oven for pizzas, in addition to the kitchen, and everything worked very well. Always hot water in the bathrooms and good internet service. 200 meters walk from restaurants, shops and market. Mrs. Clementina and her daughter helped us with the cleaning, and I highly recommend adding this extra. They are charming and a real support for large groups. Communication with Santiago was excellent. Very attentive and his responses were immediate. I highly recommend this house and we hope to return soon.

The house and garden are perfect for spending a few wonderful days relaxing in the company of loved ones. Downtown is a stone's throw away, and the garden with a palapa, pool, barbecue, and temazcal are perfectly equipped. The price is more than justified and communication with Santiago before and during the stay was very fluid.

This place is stunningly beautiful - even more so than in the photos. It’s perfect for a group, with many well appointed accommodations, large gathering spaces for meals and hanging out inside and outside. A nice pool with a lush expansive garden with views of mountains above. The Airbnb host organized a temezcal ceremony for us which was really special, and they also arranged for breakfast and coffee every morning which was delicious and served by the most wonderful, sweet ladies who cooked and cleaned up. The location is walkable to town center and plenty of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this little oasis!

Absolute perfection! Ms. Clementina’s cooking was fantastic and we will forever miss it. Malinalco is the sweetest town. The activities we did: temezcal (at the house), a day trip to Chamalita and Chama, a day of canyoneering (highly recommend!!), hiked to the top of Tres Cruces, visited the archeological site, lots of shopping at the Mercado, and chilling at the pool with mezcal in hand. What a week!! We will miss this wonderful spot in the heart of Mexico.

We had an amazing time! The house and the property exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for a family reunion...a little slice of paradise. The house exudes a sense of serenity. the garden is beautiful...the colors, the butterflies, the flowers and fruit trees. The pool was warm and the hammocks inviting for afternoon naps. we left today and already miss it!!!

It's a beautiful home!!! This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in, the rustic style construction, the decor, the fireplace, the temazcal, the room to rest after the temazcal, the pool with a delicious temperature, the barbecue. Woooow st house my family and I blew our heads and we are in love with her. We will definitely rent it for future family events. The attention of the staff who looked after us and the lady who cooked for us was unbeatable. We already want to go back!!! Highly recommended.

The best thing is definitely the pool and the wonderful view of the mountains. We had no problems and communication with Santiago was very good, we would definitely return.
