Our family had a great stay at Leo's Baja Oasis! Leo was very welcoming, communicative, and attentive throughout our stay. Check in/check out was a breeze, Leo was very flexible and accommodating. The pool was perfect to relax in after a day out of sight seeing. The house is in a great location and close to a lot of local shops. The house was very spacious and clean. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!!

Leo's Oasis was absolutely what you should be looking for in an AirBNB. The man is a solid host. He bent over backwards to make sure our stay was perfect. The property is amazing, especially if you have a larger crew. The location is prime. You're close to whatever you might be wanting, just a few blocks from the Malecon. Anything you might need or want is within minutes of a walk. We are already working on plans for our next trip to La Paz and to stay with Leo. We had an amazing time in this beautiful town.

Leo is an amazing host!!! Besides being a really nice guy who is interesting to talk to and gives great local recommendations for fishing charters, beaches and restaurants, he has a unique AirBnB very close to the Malecon with a pool! We loved the outdoor space as it’s colorfully decorated, relaxing and comfortable. He is a fellow dog lover and that is really appreciated. The beds, pillows and linens were comfortable and soft. The kitchen has all the necessities and we enjoyed cooking breakfast most mornings and eating poolside. It was wonderful to have access to the washer and dryer as well so we could pack a bit lighter! We were a group of 5 and rented the main house and the one bedroom overlooking the pool. It was the perfect spot for our group and Leo showed us the other units for future visits as we’d love to return next Winter. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house, very walkable area. Our toddlers loved the pool and we were grateful to be able to borrow snorkels and beach umbrellas. Leo was also super friendly and had great recommendations for beaches and a boat tour. Highly recommend 😊

Leo’s oasis is simply a splendid location. The vibe is perfect for a Baja getaway. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The shared spaces are clean and inviting. Plenty of gear to use if you forget anything of your own. On top of that Leo is simply the greatest host. Friendly and respectful. Super helpful with the best recommendations. Even set up child care for us one night. He is great with kids himself and just overall a real gem of a human.

We loved our stay at Leo's! It was centrally located, very walkable, close to the malecon and shops. Leo made us feel welcome and had great suggestions for restaurants, tour guides and the local mercado. Coming back to his place at the end of the of the day was like entering an oasis. We will be back!

Leo's place was a great home base for our family of four (kids aged 4 and 6) plus a grandparent. We had ample space to hang around and relax and cook meals. The kids loved the pool! Leo's suggestions were extremely helpful and thanks to him we found our favorite spot for snorkeling that we went twice in three days. It was so great to be able to borrow umbrellas, chairs, a cooler and fins for all our beach outings. The area felt safe and central with a great bakery a few blocks away and a beautiful coffee shop on the next corner.

My family had the best time with our stay at Leo’s. It truly is an oasis in the city. It was a great launching point for both our whale shark and fishing tour. Highly recommend!!

Leo’s place is a true gem with warm boho decor, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The pool and hot tub were awesome and I wish we had a whole day to just lounge around it. Beaches are a bit of a drive (about 40 mins to Balandra), but so worth the stay in a walkable, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Can’t wait to return!

This is THE spot. Incredible space, beautiful layout, lots of room for activities, privacy and functionality. We celebrated my 40th birthday week here with my 70 year old mom and 3 girlfriends. We were all wonderfully comfortable in this charming villa. Leo wins the host of the year award. He’s so easy-going, helpful, hilarious, generous, attentive and also gives his guests space. 10/10 would recommend. If I’m ever in La Paz again, I’ll be stopping in to see Leo.

We had a great time at the Baja Oasis! The location was fantastic, it was easy to walk to the Malecon, tons of restaurants, the jumping off points for tours, and more. Additionally, the space was a haven in the city. Leo has great outdoor spaces to hang, it was so pleasant to have my tea and read on the shady balcony and it was a very comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring. The beds were comfy, there is a pool, and it had all the amenities that we needed, including access to beach towels, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs that we were able to use. Leo was very helpful and quick to respond to questions both before and during our stay. Thanks to Leo for a great stay! We will be back!

We had a great time at Leo’s Oasis and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The place was gorgeous and clean, the back area was perfect, and the walking distance to the Malecón/nearby restaurants was incredible. Quirky and colorful! We loved the authenticity of the little “compound” - quiet, private and set off the street. Leo was very friendly and available the whole time. Our 2BR/2BA unit was clean and cozy and decorated with local flavor. It also was a great location for exploring the town of La Paz and surrounding beaches, which were gorgeous. We hope to go back soon!!

Leo's place was just as described. His place made you feel right at home and was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, even drinking water. You can tell Leo cares about his guests, and has put his heart and soul into his little hotel. He was very helpful and always available to us. The place is not far from the Malecon, however, the sidewalks in La Paz can be challenging for older folks, so be careful! The immediate and surrounding area was safe and quiet, and was a mix of residential and small retail/commercial businesses. Great coffee, pizza, and other food nearby. Thanks, Leo!

Leo is a great host and made our stay comfortable. He’s responsive to requests and proactive about communicating when he’s not available. The hot tub was actually hot, a great feature for evening soaks. Lucky, the dog, is a great co-host!

We had the most incredible stay at Leo’s place! The place is so charming, we felt right at home hanging out on the back porch in the mornings with his sweet dog Lucky. We’re gonna miss that sweet boyie. We loved the location - walkable yet quiet and safe. We absolutely loved our two week stay at Leo’s Baja Oasis! Our family of five fit perfectly in the spacious Main House. We love the true Mexican charm of the place, the fantastic location, and the great vibe that Leo has curated. I’ve travelled Mexico quite a bit and La Paz is my favorite - a real Mexican town with all the great stuff. And I can’t imagine a better place to stay in La Paz than Leo’s! Many thanks to Leo and Lucky for creating and maintaining such a lovely place and for being awesome hosts!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Leo’s place! From our initial booking until our departure Leo was extremely helpful with answering any questions and providing local recommendations. The Airbnb itself was perfect. It seemed even bigger than in the photos. It was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. It was also a short walk to the Malecon. There are many restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries in easy walking distance. If you want a super authentic food experience I suggest walking one block over to the Mercado Bravo! Leo and his dog Lucky could not have been more welcoming.

Leo was such a kind, responsive host. He and his dog, Lucky, made our stay feel like it was visiting a friend. The main house is beautiful and spacious. The shared amenities are great… including the pool, deck, laundry, and beach supplies (snorkel, towels, umbrellas, etc). We had such a nice time!

We had an incredible stay at Leo’s Baja Oasis. Leo is an awesome guy — super easy to communicate with, genuinely friendly, and you can tell he really cares about the place. The property itself was spotless, well looked after, and had way more character and space than we expected. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to the malecón. But honestly, the highlight might’ve been Lucky, Leo’s dog. He hung out with us every day like he was part of our family. Just an overall great experience, and we’d go back in a heartbeat. The house has everything to be comfortable, it's like arriving at a family member's house, Leo is very kind and helpful, he lent us beach accessories, and always with an excellent attitude, his house is very nice and comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. We had a problem with the car and he kindly helped us solve it, we would definitely go back to his house.

Leo is just a great, genuine and honest person making you feel right at home. He was very attentive to detail and was quick to help us with anything we needed. Leo's communication was beyond excellent, so helpful and accommodating. His place was awesome and very spacious with a Spanish hacienda style of house. The place looks much bigger in person and the backyard with the pool really is the Oasis. La Paz is beautiful, but staying here really made us feel we were on vacation. Even though there are a few other units, you still have your privacy which was super cool. I still felt we were the only ones there. Dipping and hanging out at the pool was just so relaxing that really made our trip. We were there to have fun, yet Leo made sure that we were ourselves which I really appreciate how he made all four of us feel. Hands down probably the coolest and honest host I have every rented from. I hope to return with my family and talk to Leo again. I also missed his cool dog.

Wow! What a great place to start our first trip to La Paz. Leo’s place is unique in a very good way. Well situated relative to downtown and the Malacón. Our unit (the main house) was comfortable, well-appointed, and clean. Truly an oasis to return to after a long day of adventuring in La Paz. It felt like a home away from home. And then there is Leo. An incredibly gracious host with a wealth of information to share about La Paz - restaurants, beaches, tours - and a laid back, humble spirit. We will return to La Paz and subject of course to availability, will stay at Leo’s Baja Oasis; a "rare find" indeed.

Not only was Leo’s place spacious, clean and colorful, Leo was an excellent host. He responded to all of our questions (via messaging and in person) very promptly, provided us with local recommendations (including a fun boat tour), and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. He and Lucky (the pup) were so welcoming and comfortable. The location felt safe and was only a short walk to the malecon. I hope to go back with my family or for another girls’ trip!

Leo's Oasis is exactly that. The actual property is better than the pictures. I hope to return with my family or friends so we can rent out the entire place. Leo and his staff were so accommodating, from helping us select restaurants, or nice grocery stores, to the best hidden beaches (Muertitos). Anything we asked for, Leo would provide. The main house is well appointed, Marisol, helped provide extra clean towels and made out rooms spotless! Lucky the Oasis Dog is wonderful. A Mercado with fresh healthy juices, fresh fish, steak, and my favorite.. Gorditas... all in one food hall/Mercado! This is a very special place and you're lucky if you find it! One thing to note- be aware that police pulling over drivers for speeding is very common and more than likely they will ask you to pay there on the spot. Do your research... we ended up paying $200 to avoid any issues but had we don't our research, there may have been less expensive actions for us to have taken. We will RETURN!

Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the poolside patio.

We loved staying in the main house; it was perfect for our family of four! I enjoyed the deco, comfy bed, and the large supply of filtered water. The house is surrounded by a security wall and even though we walked around very late at night, the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Leo was a wonderful, conscientious and entertaining host. The photos and description are very accurate. ( Except that the house is more like 6 blocks from the Malecon, and not three.) The outdoor area and pool were the perfect spots to relax and chill after a long day of exploring, swimming and snorkeling. Within a few minutes walk there is a wonderful bakery, Dulce Romero, and I highly recommend their restaurant as well which is across from the bakery. We would certainly stay here again.

This place truly is an oasis in that it’s so close to the activities of the Malecon but provides a safe quiet sanctuary at the end of the day. The furnishings and decor are so fun and unique and the beds super comfortable.

Leo was a great host. He is at the property but is not in your way at all, He does His own thing and unless you need something you will rarely see him. Highly recommend Leo’s place for a family gathering being that there are so many bungalows on the property. We stayed in the main house and felt it was spacious for the 6 of us. We had a great stay at Leo's place. We don't usually stay in places like his with other guests sharing the common patio spaces but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Leo is around if you want to chat but also gives you the space you need. Leo's place was a good location to either have a quick drive or a little bit of a walk and we did both depending on our mood. Leo's Oasis was better than imagined. We loved every minute of our stay here. Our children loved it too. The children enjoyed the pool, although is was cold, it didn't stop them. They then warmed up in the hot tub. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of 6. It was bigger than we had imagined!! Great location. We walked to the Malecon, city center, a local market, and some restaurants. Leo's place is also well stocked with towels, washing machine, and jugs of water. We loved it there so much that it took us longer than usual to start our day. We preferred to lounge by the pool or sit in the comfy outdoor sofas before heading out. We will definitely be back. Thanks Leo, what an oasis you have!! ``

Leo’s (main house) was perfect for our family of four. Walkable to the Malecón, a good restaurant across the street, supper nice common area, and easy laid back atmosphere. Amazingly clean; more so than most hotels we’ve stayed at. We really enjoyed our Baja vacation, and Leo definitely help make it great.

Leo went above and beyond and was super friendly and accommodating to all our questions and needs. This location is walking distance to the Malecon and close to great restaurants, museums and activities. The courtyard was a great place to hang out and relax and had a real old school Mexico charm we were looking for. Highly recommend staying for anyone who would do a family vacation, couples trip or even a group trip he has separate rental units. The beds and pillows were so comfy! Leo goes above and beyond as a host! The property is clean and quiet and with great wifi for you remote workers. It's an easy walk to great food spots and the Malecon (boardwalk with sunsets). I'll most certainly be back and would recommend to anyone!

Leo's place a perfect gathering place for my family of 5. very friendly, easy check-in, plenty of furnitures, kitchenwear, crafty colorful decorations, all of these make us a pleasant stay.

Leo's was a perfect place for me, my daughter and her family. We stayed in the "main house" with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living, dining and kitchen. The architecture, furniture and decor created a feeling of being transported back to a comfortable "Old Mexico" where Ernest Hemingway would have felt right at home. Yet, we had all of the modern conveniences such as great wi-fi and a microwave. Unlike some other places where I've stayed in Mexico, Leo's had plenty of hot water and good water pressure for all 5 of us to shower. The covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and hot tub were a great place for us to hang out while my grandchildren soaked in the hot tub and swam in the pool. The pool was unheated, so the grandkids sometimes wore their wetsuits. We made heavy use of the kitchen to prepare meals, but we also found several excellent restaurants within short walking distance. Leo was a gracious host who interacted well with us, available when needed without intruding.

Lovely space, very spacious.

Nice place for our family to stay in La Paz. About 4 blocks walking to the Malecon, a market, and a little further to the central part of town. Secure parking available. Hot tub was really nice. The outdoor spaces are somewhat shared, each unit has a private patio space but they are within site/sound of each other. This wasn't a problem, we enjoyed talking with other travellers. Purified water is provided which is nice to avoid plastic bottles. Leo was really nice and had some good suggestions.

We loved staying here. I chose it for the “vibe” but Leo was so responsive and helpful! Location was awesome, across from a restaurant, walking distance to oxxo, few blocks from malecón. The pool is shared with the other apartments which was also nice, you can keep to yourself or mingle. All in all exactly what I wanted for our stay and would do it again! I’ve already sent the link to other folks as a recommendation :D My only feedback is we could use a full length mirror somewhere for outfit checks but that’s about it.

It’s perfect!! You’re in your own little oasis and the pool, hot tub, house are amazing. Centrally located to everything we did while in La Paz. Leo and Romy’s place is awesome, we are a family of four suggested two teens and the room setup was perfect for us. The authentic Mexican style of the house really contributed to our Mexican experience and we felt completely at home. They booked some awesome experiences for us - whale sharks and baby seal swimming was epic, and Romy gave us some great tips for eating out. La Paz is so chill and safe, we walked everywhere and the house is perfectly located to be within half an hour walk to anything you’d like to do. It’s a quick couple of blocks to the Malecon, too. Chancho the dog won everyone’s hearts as well! Highly recommend!

Leo and Romy were great hosts - extrememly responsive and also flexible. Romy helped arrange a couple of fantastic outings for us (to see the whale sharks and the seals). The unit was just as described and in good condition. We stayed in the "main house". We were there in December so the pool was too cold for use but a jacuzzi was available. The courtyard design creates a little oasis in an otherwise unremarkable neighborhood but also means you are sharing the courtyard space with those renting the three (?) other units. This was fine for us as they were very nice and helped with suggestions for things to do. There is a great coffee shop a couple of blocks away and the walk to the waterfront is just a few blocks. We felt completely safe on our trip to La Paz and had a nice time. We would recommend Leo's to anyone considering a stay in La Paz.

My family and I had an amazing stay in La Paz with Leo and Romy. We rented the main house, which was more than enough space for the 5 of us. The house was clean, stylishly decorated, and as charming as the photos show it to be. Both Leo and Romy made us feel at home and offered great tips on beaches and restaurants to try. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in Baja!

Leo & Romy were fantastic hosts and knew a lot about everything we would want to do and explore. We came with two 17-year-old boys. The views, the food, the sea life were all incredible. We've stayed in many places in Mexico and I'm very particular about beds and comfort (anything that has too-perfect corners and looks like a box is a red flag). The beds were awesome! The cafe across the street was fantastic. We're only sorry we didn't get to the great Italian restaurant only a couple of blocks away until our last night there. Romy arranged for tours with the best guides. We highly recommend them!
