We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The beds were comfortable, and the pool was splendid with chairs for relaxing. Very friendly staff. Birds and monkeys to observe. Our car was very useful for exploring the surrounding area (Libéria, Curubandé, Rincón, Guayabo) and for activities (La Leona, Rio Negro Hot Springs, etc.). The quality of the food in the restaurant was very good; food options are scarce in the area. In short, we had a great stay, with excellent value for money.

A beautiful place surrounded by nature. The restaurant and the pool are very good. The The room is a bit old, but it does the job. The room we stayed in shares a wall with another room, so you can easily hear noises from the other side, which reduces the feeling of privacy a bit. Otherwise, good!

It's a mountain hotel. There's nothing nearby, so you should plan to bring supplies or be prepared financially to pay for food at their restaurant, which, by the way, is very nice and has good food. The place is spectacular and special for forgetting about all the bad things in the world and the city. I highly recommend it.

The place is a true oasis, beautifully designed with relaxation and enjoyment in mind. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive,. They also offer several tours and activities, but unfortunately we couldn’t join any because we had issues with the online booking system and our credit cards required authorization. Customer service was almost nonexistent ( on the website ) and even after driving 20 minutes to sort it out , we still couldn’t resolve the problem. If you’re visiting from overseas, I’d strongly recommend booking activities well in advance. Overall, I’d say it’s the kind of place that’s perfect for a stay of one or two days, as there aren’t many things to do nearby. However, if your idea of a great getaway is simply relaxing and enjoying the property itself, then this place is absolutely amazing

This place was good for a one night stay. The pros- the property was beautiful, beds comfy and the staff were friendly. Cons: Stains on the bedding Had a 10 minute shower and the water went cold. The food at the restaurant was not good. Lots of options however all of our meals we had for dinner were not good. The nearest restaurant or soda is 30 mins away.

Our stay in Rinconcito was very pleasant, quiet, and safe, close to the National Park we were going to visit. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived, thanks to Moisés's recommendations, and the attention and service at the restaurant provided by Luis, Paula, and David. Everyone was very friendly. We are very grateful!

This was an amazing experience! Don’t skip the hike to the waterfall- swimming under a waterfall in Costa Rica! Magical! The staff were so kind and helpful. Room was nice with a fridge which helped traveling with kids. Had a dinner in the restaurant which was good- grateful for that resource. Wish we’d been there another day or so a and done some of their adventures

A great start to our vacation. The hike to the waterfall was lovely and swimming in it was too. Food was great. Beautiful grounds.

Very nice lodge with a lovely pool! The road to get there is a bit complicated, but that's the nature of the area! There are also a few parking spaces missing, but otherwise I had a lovely stay at El Rincóncito, close to the excursions! The excursions are very nice.

A peaceful lodge in a lovely forest. The rooms were well-kept and comfortable. The climate is wonderful and we only had to use the air conditioning an hour or two when direct sun shone in our room. The pool was well-maintained. We enjoyed the restaurant. Staff was kind and responsive, especially David who outlined all the activities available, and Alexander, who was friendly and informative, even in a busy restaurant. We regret not taking advantage of the hiking trail, but watching the Oropendula and howler monkeys from our balcony made up for that. Overall, no complaints, and we would certainly consider returning for a longer stay.

The exterior is beautiful; that’s what I loved about the place. The hammocks everywhere are a lovely touch. Our dinner at the restaurant was very good, with reasonable prices, as there was nothing else in the area. Unfortunately, the room needs maintenance/renovation because it's really old. For the price, they should at least include breakfast, because we couldn't even have plates/utensils to eat in the room, so we had to bring our own. Luckily, we only had to stay one night.

Beautiful lodge ! We stayed two nights, first in a superior room and then in a standard, and both were great. The pool is heated and gorgeous setting. The restaurant seems nice , we just had a beer and the service was top notch. The location is perfect for exploring Rincon de la Veja and Rio Negro. Super beautiful location. We would definitely stay again!!
