Great house just a few blocks south of downtown. Great for large groups with 11 rooms, each with their own bathroom

We booked two of Becky’s places a few blocks from each other for a group of 25. The places and Becky were great! Becky was super helpful and both places were great! We will definitely be repeat travelers!

Staying at this Airbnb in Oaxaca was truly a fantastic decision. The house was extremely spacious and comfortably accommodated our large family group of about 16 people, including single adults, couples, and kids. It was the perfect fit for us. The location was excellent—very central and within walking distance to shops and the local mercado, which made everything super convenient. The house itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We loved that each family had their own privacy with individual rooms (and private bathroom) arranged around a central patio. It created a perfect gathering space where we could all come together whenever we wanted. I also have to mention how wonderful our host, Becky, was. She was incredibly polite and always quick to respond to any questions or issues. The entire experience was peaceful and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Oaxaca. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Becky was SO responsive and helpful. Having space to hangout together in multiple parts of the house and enough privacy, too, was perfect for our reunion group.

Amazing house, just as advertised. Plenty of room for our group of 7, huge space. Our group enjoyed the outdoor patio upstairs and all the natural light. Great value, highly recommend.

We were a party of 20 and the house fit all of us. All the rooms have their own bathroom and shower. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Becky and team also provided snacks, eggs, cereal and bread to start our breakfast. She also had some other beverages for purchase. Great hosts and clear and timely communication. The house is a few blocks for the zocalo, walkable and felt safe in the neighborhood. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

This place was large enough to fit the 20 people in our family. It had a great terrace on top and a fully stocked kitchen. There was also a game room with a tv, Super Nintendo and Nintendo which was great for the kids in our group. We were within an 8 minute walk to the Zocalo and all the restaurants and shops. It was an ideal location from us. Also about 20 min from Monte Albán and 25 min from Atzompa, 30 min from Tulé and 1 1/2 hours from Hierve el Aqua. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place. A large, hacienda style setup with rooms around a central courtyard. Overhead is a large awning to help keep out the rain. Caretaker came in every couple of days to do the dishes, clean, and get us fresh towels, etc. Overall, a very nice place to stay for a large family such as ours.

What a great place to stay if you have a large group. Centrally located. I especially liked the rooftop and open air spaces to relax. Would definitely recommend and return soon.

The place is extremely spacious, it is an old house that has been remodeled, there are 11 rooms, all with a bathroom plus a guest bathroom. All rooms are very comfortable, comfortable double beds and all rooms are clean with good ventilation. The rooms upstairs tend to be warmer and the ones downstairs cooler, but it's the area where everyone lives. The kitchen has enough, we were 26 people (13 adults and 13 children) and everyone was very comfortable. The area is very close to downtown and the food market. It's not the prettiest, but the location helps a lot! There's a lot of traffic, but once inside, you don't even notice it. We had no problem parking on the street. Becky is very friendly and responded to everything very quickly. The kitchen girl was good, nothing spectacular but very kind. We'd go back!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Agave and our group of 10 had more than enough space to spread out and relax in the home. The home is gorgeous, and the host was so thoughtful to leave some fresh eggs, cereal, and coffee for us to have in the kitchen. Filtered water was also provided in the and kitchen! The home is walking distance to the best Mercado in town and it was so easy for us to move around El Centro on foot here. We would definitely stay at Casa Agave again and highly recommend it to any groups!

We had a large bachelorette group and this home was perfect for us! We were 11 girls and it was SO nice we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. There were a lot of great recommendations the host left for guests - the restaurants we went to from the list were all amazing! The home itself was absolutely gorgeous, having the terrace and courtyard just made everything so much better. The location was also perfect, just a quick walk to the main zocalo and all the good restaurants and bars were a 15-20 min walk. Yvonne who came to clean the house was also very nice, she gave us a quick tour and the rundown when we checked in which was helpful.

First of all, what a beautiful home Becky has as this place is perfect for large groups. The place is as advertised and felt woo’d by it the whole stay I was there. The location is very close to the Zocalo, markets, Santo Domingo church/bars. Becky does a great job keeping the place nice and tidy smelling fabuloso. Finally, Becky is extremely responsive & flexible with any requests or needs. I would book again!

Staying at Becky's house was great. We visited Oaxaca for the Guelaguetza to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and we were 16!!! The house was in the perfect location for being able to walk everywhere but still being able to have a parking spot on the front of the house. There are 10 rooms and a wonderful central patio for gatherings. It also has a nice terrace and Becky was very nice to helps us out in all our needs and and questions. This was a Wonderfull stay and if you are a big group as we were.... then this is the perfect place for your trip to Oaxaca!

Becky was very accommodating , place was ideally located for walking to Oaxaca centro. Once inside it feels very peaceful and quiet , you don’t feel like you are in centro . Rooms were comfortable , well lit. Courtyard and kitchen were perfect for the amount of people in our party.

This is a beautiful and large space for a small group. We loved having a private room for all of us and how easy it was to walk to the Zocalo. Becky was very responsive when things broke as they do in Mexico. We would gladly come back if we were to visit Oaxaca again.

We had a great stay at Casa Agave! We were there for my 40th birthday and it was great to have a large place where everyone could stay in their own room and bathroom. There is a large central courtyard and rooftop deck, in addition to a big kitchen and game room with foosball. Becky was very kind and thoughtful. She put up decorations for my birthday and left a cake in the fridge for us. Becky was very responsive to our requests and there is a cleaning service throughout the week. A couple things to be aware of... There is no A/C, but we were ok with the bedroom fans. The location is a 10 minute walk (5 blocks) from the main square (Zocalo). It is right by Hospital San Jose. The street the house is on can be loud with traffic noise and does not have many trees, making it noticeably hotter than nearby tree lined streets. We would have preferred to be closer to the square, but it was manageable and worked for our needs. Thank you Becky for our wonderful experience!

Maybe my best Airbnb experience so far.

Casa Agave is great for big groups - it’s very clean, well located, and they even provide snacks which were very key for us. It has a beautiful terrace and they also supply yoga mats. The beds are full size, so a little small for couples with big people, but still fine. The only thing we found challenging is that the listing is a little misleading - it says 16+ people but the limit is actually 16 people, and there are significant charges per person per night if you have above 10 people. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Casa Agave for big groups.

Casa Agave was an ideal location for our trip to celebrate my birthday. The staff had thoughtfully decorated with birthday balloons and even left a cake in the refrigerator. Our group of 12 had plenty of room to hang out in the common areas and privacy in our separate rooms with individual bathrooms. The rooms were simple but comfortable. I had some apprehension about the house not having air conditioning but with the cool nights and the enclosed courtyard we barely even needed fans. While we were not able to get help arranging a chef as advertised, Becky was communicative during the stay when we encountered hiccups, such as a friend getting locked out of her room. We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were addressed immediately and satisfactorily. On the last day we noticed there were cameras in the common areas. We were leaving, so didn’t talk to the host about it. If this concerns you I suggest asking for more info. Overall, I highly recommend this property for a group.

This is a great spot for a large group in Oaxaca. It’s spacious, clean and stylish. It also includes limited housekeeping services every two days, which we didn’t realize until we woke up to someone cleaning the kitchen. Certainly a plus, but wish we would have known in advance so we could be less surprised by the appearance of someone on site. It felt secure but the surrounding area is definitely more of a “working neighborhood,” meaning you’ll need to walk a few blocks to reach the more touristy areas north of the markets. Overall very walkable though. The wifi connection in the rooms was pretty spotty, but there are plenty of common spaces to utilize. Also loved hanging out on the rooftop. Recommended!

Great place for large groups and for everyone to have their privacy

Our stay at Casa Agave was fantastic! We were looking for a location that our group could stay together and this for the bill perfectly. Plenty of communal space for morning coffee in the courtyard downstairs, or upstairs on the rooftop gathering area. Short walk to the historical center, public markets and great restaurants.

This home is LARGE and beautiful. A great home for a large gathering. It is very close to Centro and the market. It had a great gathering place in the middle. Becky was very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend this home.

I booked this property to host family and friends, and our experiences exceeded our expectations. Being a residential area, the days were bustling with locals (including a kids' parade for the Day of the Dead (DD) just outside the front door) and the nights were quiet. The beautiful decor added to the ambiance of my birthday celebration and the DD season. We greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the kitchen and bathroom items. Although not expected, Becky kindly allowed 3 guests arriving early to check-in, and they noted how welcoming she was. The cleaning staff was also very friendly and full of suggestions for area activities. We enjoyed the home's proximity to delicious food, great shopping, the Zocalo, DD festivities, and less touristy attractions (e.g., traditional healing experiences at Masajes Nativo Spa 3.5 blocks down). I could not have selected a better place for our first visit to Oaxaca City, and all of my guests let me know that this was absolutely true!!

We were a large group and Becky's house was perfect. It offered privacy - we all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms - but also offered really nice communal spaces. The courtyard was lovely and we spent a lot of time there and on the rooftop. I'd highly recommend the home to a larger group who is looking for a mix of private and shared space.

Becky's place is absolutely beautiful. Great place for a large group. The communal spaces are gorgeous and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Only issues were the wifi is spotty and the beds are a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful rental! It was perfect for our mom's-getaway. So comfortable with everyone having their own room and own bathroom! The common area is a specious, covered courtyard with several different seating areas to enjoy and entertain. There is also a roof top patio.

This house was perfect for our 10-person, three-generation family Christmas trip to Oaxaca! Though not quite in the historic district, it was close enough and we made use of the market to buy food to prepare in the kitchen. Great experience!

Casa Agave was perfect for our family reunion! The courtyard was ideal for gathering and relaxing after long walks discovering the city. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food bought at the mercado, or to warm up yummy mole tamales. Every room had its own bathroom which was a plus. An overall wonderful stay!

Casa Agave was a magical place for our group of 15 visiting for Dia de Los Muertos. The central courtyard is just beautiful with lots of sitting space for gathering. The kitchen had everything we needed including fridge, stove, many amenities. Pictures don’t really show the rooftop terrace but it was one of our favorite spots to watch the sunset. The rooms with individual bathrooms were just right, beds are full size not queen (wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for taller people). The walk to the centro took about 10 minutes. Not being on the Zocalo meant quieter nights a little outside of the party. Host Becky left great recommendations, was very accommodating and had quick communication for my questions. Oaxaca was so beautiful and festive, we had a wonderful visit and would recommend Casa Agave without any reservations.

There's no better place to find. Super clean, with everything you can ask for, plus a super warm and attentive treatment. Super satisfied and grateful.

I recommend staying at Becky's home. Travel with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday, we loved the idea of being able to stay together. The photos give you an idea of the beauty of the house; but upon arrival it exceeded our expectations. The house has beautiful decoration details everywhere; also details such as a kit of medicines, umbrellas, hats, and a very complete pantry (eggs, milk, cereal, bread, jam, water, snacks, among other things) On our arrival it was a great surprise to find the beautifully decorated house to celebrate on September 15; along with serpentines and things to disguise us. The best detail was to open the refrigerator and find a delicious 3 milks cake that Becky was kind enough to give me for my birthday. Unbeatable location; two blocks from the market and downtown. One block away there are delicious tlayudas in the evenings; in fact, they went on Netflix's Latin American Street food program Thank you Becky for welcoming us and making our stay an unforgettable moment! I think it's the best airbnb I've stayed at. We will definitely come back!
