Excellent! One of the best properties I've stayed at. Spacious, beautiful, great finishes and decorative details. You can see the love and pride the owners have for this property. Great location, steps from the viewpoint. Six bedrooms, all with views of the pier and the pool. 100% recommended. Definitely a place I'd come back to with my family. We were a group of 8 people, but it is definitely ideal for larger families. Special thanks to Socorrito and Santigo, and of course, a great touch by the owners to come and introduce themselves and even more so to be there to say goodbye on the day of our departure. Thanks to his entire team for their kindness, hospitality and personalized service in these times that we are living through that are so dehumanized. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Alma’s place. The home was absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and very comfortable—it truly felt like a home away from home. Alma was a great host, responsive and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. A special thank you to Socorrito for the excellent housekeeping—the place was spotless and very well cared for throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back to finish exploring and visiting everything we didn’t get a chance to see this time. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Alma's Place! We really enjoyed the ample spaces, like our private rooms as well as the dining areas next to the pool, and the incredible housekeeper. We were really spoiled during our stay. The housekeeper washed and folded our clothes and also helped us with breakfast in addition to cleaning our rooms every day! It was amazing! Alma was incredibly kind and responsive, and recommended some great places to eat, as well as a local tour guide. Alma's Place is a short car ride away (5-7 mins) and a walk (25 mins) from most restaurants and a large grocery store. Make sure to buy cooking oil and other cooking supplies, as well as shampoo and conditioner and lotion. Overall, this was a really wonderful way for us to enjoy Huatulco. Thank you, Alma!

This house was perfect. From the moment we arrive. Alma the host was there to greet us and show us around. The home is close to everything and we felt very safe. It was easy to walk around if we wanted to we could also walk to town if we wanted to. We hired the chef Nayeli for some dinners and some lunches, and we cannot say enough about the food she prepared for us and the service that we got. Everything was delicious and they were very attentive. Alma was the best host. She helped us with anything we needed. Some of us are already planning on going back. It’s a great place!

The stay at Alma's house was a very pleasant time with the family and they made us feel right at home. Socorrito, the cleaning lady, was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend hiring Chef Nalleli and her assistant Jonathan, we ate delicious fresh food every day, for all the tastes and needs of our family. Alma and her husband were very kind when they welcomed us and said goodbye, very flexible with the flight schedules we had. I would definitely go back to this place.

This is a gorgeous home just a few minutes from the center of town and a number of terrific beaches in Huatulco. Alma, the host, is incredibly responsive and made our stay super comfortable. When small issues emerged with the house (these things happen) she had someone attend to them within minutes. I can't recommend her and her home highly enough!

An amazing house close to absolutely everything with a family-friendly layout. Very good details from Alma; friendly, attentive, easy to find and communicate with, accurate in all her recommendations. We hired Nayeli's cooking service with extraordinary service and good seasoning. Very happy the days we were there. We'll be back!!

Alma's villa was just perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The yards and garden were amazing. The pool was perfect. Socorro, the cleaning gal was just a dream. I wish I could take her home with me. The place was the perfect home base for the ultimate family vacation. I highly recommend staying here.

It's a dream location! Among everything we live in that house I could not say what was best: the cleanliness, the details of Alma and her husband, the beauty and calm of the area, the pleasantness of the pool, the feeling of breakfast on the terrace, the comfortable of the rooms. Everything is simply magical…and if that is added the opportunity to have Nayeli as the chef during her stay during her stay, believe me that there is no better experience!! It is literally the best experience I have had on an airbnb, the warmest, the most human but full of magic and comfort!!!!

Alma, our host, was amazing to say the least! Alma responded quickly and gave us great recommendations, starting with our chef Nayeli, Jonathan & her crew. They cooked us meals delicious meals daily. Alma also recommended our driver Ricardo, which was amazing! He took us all over town and even drove us to Oaxaca. His suv was very clean and he had a great personality. Last but not least, Socorro, our cleaning lady, was so helpful and kept the house so clean and offered to do our laundry. She was very nice and helpful. Would def recommend staying here and would be back.

Excellent place!

Wow, what an amazing place! We were two families with a total of 9 people in our group and it was just perfect for our size. Everyone’s expectations were exceeded upon arriving! Especially the KIDS! Alma’s home is beautiful and spacious. We loved the pool, the inside and outside eating areas but my favorite was all the BEAUTIFUL trees and flowers!!! Alma was very attentive to anything we needed and very quick in responding to any questions or concerns we had. We used Ricardo for our transportation needs as suggested and were overly satisfied! He does the best Waterfalls tour as well! Very kind and knowledgeable! Everyone loved him! Not related to the house I must caution anyone from using the JE TOURS Caballos y Yates company. We booked their horseback riding tour and they tried to use horses that were not trained enough . We had to stop right at the beginning after one of the horses rubbed our friends leg against barbed wire. They’re not enough room to give all details.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Alma and her husband were amazing hosts and even treated us to some local ice cream half way through our stay to cool us down! I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Alma was a phenomenal host. She was always responsive and flexible in communicating in Spanish or English, though she preferred Spanish where possible. Her house was nothing short of incredible. It had plenty of room for our multi-generational family visiting for a few days. We had room to stretch out by the pool, and loved the inside/outside dining options, and the AC in the bedrooms was strong. Thanks for being a great host, Alma! 5 stars!

Before we had even left town Alma was there to help us. She helped me with everything from planning activities to restaurants to guides. She provided us with an excellent chef named Nalleli who cooked all of our fresh breakfasts and fabulous birthday dinner celebrations. A knowledgeable tour guide named Ricardo took us to the waterfalls. A must-see! Also, we asked her for a Yacht service and that too was perfection!! Not only was the house beautiful! It had everything you could ask for. Fantastic beds, lovely decorations a full kitchen, and a fabulous kind trusting housekeeper! The house and yard were always immaculate!! If i needed an outdoor speaker she had it...If I needed an umbrella for the beach..she had it! I've traveled a lot in Mexico and have never had such an amazing experience! Everything Alma and her husband offered went far and beyond its reach! They are kind, lovely and very helpful! Lastly, you couldn't ask for a better Location!! We're returning! Loved!

There are no words for the absolute level of service that Alma provides! This place is not only magical but there is deep soul in this home. I hosted a luxury woman’s retreat here and it could not have been more perfect! Alma was absolutely incredible from the beginning of the booking to provide every detail of what I might have needed here! Any single thing that we needed in this absolutely gorgeous villa, with a perfect design was given. Alma was here each time, in a heartbeat with her beautiful smile and sense of hospitality. Her reputation is earned! “Mi casa es su casa” has a whole new meaning! I have never felt so at home. We will be back!

One word..... OMGOODNESS! This place is stunning, feels like your in a resort, but keep reminding yourself its your own place. The home is beautifully furnished, Tastefully done, LOVE the light up Whale fins as the primary theme of the home. This home will NOT disappoint you. Alma and her Husband are amazing Hosts. We were 10 staying at this beautiful Home overlooking the canal. The Home is big enough that we were able to comfortably have our own space. Beautiful Sunset over the canal every evening. It was nice to shop during the day, hit the various beaches (Bocana beach is my Favorite) and then to come back to this beautiful Home to relax with snacks and drinks by the pool.. Great for surfing too. We also requested an authentic Mexican Breakfast to be made at the home, it was amazing! Alma made it happen. We had beautiful weather, everyday that we were here. We left our hearts in Huatulco. We will be back.

The property is a very luxurious place for ten to twelve people. Easy access to anything that you want to do in the Huatulco area. Alma is such a great person and host. Anything you ask or need she is on it, very responsive and knowledgeable with all of our needs. Any suggestions that Alma made were right on… Alma suggested Ricardo for airport transportation…he looked after our transportation and tour needs for our whole stay. Alma suggested Coci Nay to be our chefs. What a great young couple that are fantastic cooks,cleaners and hosts. Our housekeeper was so good to us all week..picking up ,cleaning, sweeping, laundry…anything we needed was done and always with a smile. Alma suggested Miguel, our family picture photographer. Alma and her husband were both absolutely the best ever. We rented both of their houses for our wedding. Because of them my wedding was the best wedding ever. They will do almost anything you ask or they will give you the info you need to find what you need. I kept in contact with Alma for several months before we arrived. I asked if they could go buy food for us and alcohol so we had something when we arrived. They were more than happy to do that for us. They also can provide a cook for the house. We didn’t need one but I’m positive that would have been just as wonderful. The house keepers were amazing too. They washed and ironed everyone’s clothing if asked. They even hand scrubbed my wedding dress after the ceremony. It was very dirty on the bottom from the sand. The houses were right on the water and less than 5 minutes from beach access. I’m telling you passing up the opportunity to stay here would be a big mistake. We finally found our paradise.

Wonderful spacious home in desirable area, pool is just big enough for 12 people. Home has attention to detail throughout. I would change nothing!

We absolutely loved this home!! It was perfect for our group of 9 and the only bad thing was the trip felt too short. The host is so attentive to any and every single need. We used the chef that she recommended who cooked the most delicious Oaxacan meal that left us in love with the entire experience. OMG!! First thing that came to mind This place is amazing ! Everything that you need is here and then some! Doña Alma and Don Gontran son increíbles persona. Fueron personalmente a saludarnos y a presentarse. Lindas personas! I highly recommend this beautiful place! This is a perfect place for a big group and everything is nearby! Doña alma even had some cold beers and some snacks in the fridge for us on our arrival. I thought that was a very nice detail. Everything was very comfortable, roomy and clean! Beautiful home! Everything was excellent, the maids, the masseuse, the cooks. Elma and her husband were very polite and welcoming. They were so helpful upon every request.

The best stay we have had so far!

We really enjoyed this home. It was exactly as described and the communication Alma provided was exceptional. She checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure the stay was comfortable. A truly top notch experience. The best Airbnb experience I have had.

Stayed during Easter week with family and my 2 parents. House is impeccable, clean and adorned with very good detail and taste, incredibly spacious and well located on a very quiet street/neighborhood (5 min walk to Playa Chahue, 2 min taxi ride to supermarket and 5 min taxi ride to other nearby beaches such as Santa Cruz and Arrocito). Alma personally greeted us and allowed us to check in before deadline as our plane arrived earlier than expected. Alma introduced us to a local chef (Nalleli) who cooked breakfast and lunch for us everyday during our stay. Food was incredible. When traveling we usually go out for dinner. This time, food was so abundant and the place was so relaxing that we never actually went out other than for essentials. On one day due to nation wide elections taking place a ban on sale of alcohol was implemented. When Alma got wind that I had been unable to buy some wine she very graciously offered me bottles from her own cellar (what better service can you expect….!). Alma also helped us in booking a yacht trip to visit some of the bays in Huatulco. We will certainly try and visit again in the near future and recommend Marina Soul hands down.

She was extremely resourceful helping us organize fishing trips and site seeing. The place was well looked after, we just wish we could move in. Always has a beautiful home with a wonderful view of the marina channel. It is very spacious, clean and modern. Alma is a very gracious host and shared some lovely gifts with us.

Our stay could not have been better - the house is incredible, the pool and outdoor area is very luxurious and beautiful, and Alma and her husband were the kindest, most helpful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay super special - from daily cleaning service, to helping book boat tours and dropping off gifts for us. The house felt like staying at a high end resort, we can’t wait to get back. There is a private cove within a :05 walk of the house and the area is surrounded by beautiful bays and beaches.

Amazing stay! Beautiful house with everything you need. Everything is in perfect condition and if you want to stay in and relax with no disturbance it is the perfect place! Walking distance from a couple of beaches, the marina and center of town. The best part of our stay was Alma and her staff! They were wonderful! Very attentive and accommodating! Absolutely fantastic! This is a must book location!

The house offers a generous space for up to 3-4 families, with a great deck & pool area. Everything is carefully set and clean for enjoying a pleasant stay. The house is a true 5 min walk to the closest beach, totally doable for everyone including children and toddlers, and a ten drive to downtown. Alma is a super host close enough for taking care of anything, delivering presents / details to endulge our stay and always ready to help. Her suggestions about activities elsewhere are sincere and the cleaning and cooking staff took excellent care of us. The post is accurate and a great place to enjoy a quiet time in Huatulco.
