A very special place. Miki is extremely helpful and the accommodation is super cozy. Exceeded expectations. Everyone was always very attentive and helpful. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place.

She was the best host couldn’t of asked for a better one

Mikki was an incredible host, and her sons were extremely helpful in terms of trying to find the best Surf in the area, not gatekeeping spots and being extremely friendly in the lineup. Even though the waves were slightly smaller than we had originally projected them to be, we had a better time than we could have imagined! Thank you, Mikki and we will be back as soon as we possibly can!

My stay at Hacienda Iguana was absolutely incredible! The home was spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and breathtaking views made every morning unforgettable. The location is a surfer’s dream, with world-class waves just minutes away. After amazing sunrise and sunset surf sessions, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge in a serene, beautiful setting. The host Miki was exceptional—responsive, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making my stay perfect. If you’re looking for a luxury escape that combines stunning natural beauty with some of the best surfing in Nicaragua, This Is The Place! ❤️. Ican’t wait to come back! And already planning my next visit. Five stars without hesitation!

We had a great stay. The studio is a very short walk from the beach, so the location was perfect. Everything was very clean, neat and exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is equipped with the necessities, which made the experience even more convenient. The place is cozy and well maintained, an excellent choice for spending days relaxing near the beach. Miki, the host, was always very attentive to any questions and was very kind, which made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you are looking for a pleasant stay.

After traveling around Nicaragua, arriving at Miki's felt like coming home. The casita is cozy, beautiful, and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Miki is a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed and was always happy to help. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the main Colorado surf break! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

My wife and I visited Nica for our honeymoon and having not having to worry about our lodging was a huge help. Miki was extremely helpful and attentive. We felt safe, cared for and relaxed during our stay. Miki will make you feel like apart of her family and community from the moment you arrive. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Wonderful place to stay! Miki is a great host that goes above and the beyond

Miki is a top tier host! She was very nice and helpful on many fronts including helping to arrange airport transport, local car rental, various directions and local tips and her son provided some advice about where to surf. The house itself is very nice, just as described/pictured, with good amenities to cook at home and good AC. Had a great stay here!
