We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tranquilidad. The house surely lived up to its name. The view of the ocean of the back deck was sublime. Everyone was very comfortable and we had a great time. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would 100% stay here again. You should too. You wont regret it.

Lesley and Lindsey made my wife and newborn baby feel right at home, we moved from the top resort on the island, The Grand Roatan just to stay this property! We stayed in one of the top suites at the grabd roatan hotel and while a beautiful room it just doesn’t compare to have fully functioning home with your own private view with a second floor that has another great balcony with access to both bed rooms. Only issue we had was with the internet service but that was due to a coconut strike and the issue was immediately addressed. My wife unfortunately was not feeling good and without asking offered to allow us to extend our stay two additional nights at no cost without asking just because they felt terrible about my wife’s illness and that she wasn’t going to fully enjoy our time here. I wanted to take the time to give them a big shoot out as it is rare these days as it certainly wasn’t their responsibility. We come to visit family regularly, so this will be our home on island

This house was amazing. It completely matched the description and the photos. Amazing views. Great area and location. Well stocked and completely clean at check in. Check in was easy and the host is very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful location! My mom and I are originally from Roatan, so it was nice to be back "home" and doing the touristy things with my kids. The home is nice and fit our needs. The area is quiet and we felt safe. I will say that the walk to the beach was a lot more than we anticipated. One way is pretty steep (but for sure doable for the able) and the other requires walking along the main road and it didn't feel that safe with young kids. My mom is older and limited in her mobility, so the walk was not doable for her. We did have a rental so driving to the beach was the only option and parking is not great and very limited. There is construction happening where some parking normally is so maybe it will be a little better once that is done. That was the only downside. Beach towels are provided but the host prefers they not be taken to the beach and used only for the pool so keep that in mind. We borrowed some from family. The home was well stocked, and we had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lesley and Lindsey's place. The pictures don’t do the place’s beauty justice. Everything was within walking distance, and the place is very beautiful and very quiet. We had access to their pickleball equipment, which added to the enjoyment of the house. Lesley is an incredible, highly responsive host. The house is very cozy and very well thought out.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to book with Lesley and Lindsay. Their home was gorgeous and provided all the essentials we needed to feel right at home. The home provided plenty of privacy and offered spectacular views. You’re within a 5 minute drive of West Bay beach where you’ll find several lovely restaurants and activities. There is also a fresh market (Fresco) that has a wonderful selection of fruits and vegetables for grilling on the pool deck. 10 out of 10 will definitely stay here again should we return to Roatan.

Our family of 4 (2 teens) stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas & NYE. It was our 1st time in Roatan & the hosts’ 1st rental since rebuilding the home. It was fantastic! The house is beautiful, clean, & well cared for. Patio, pool, balcony, bedrooms, & kitchen are all excellent. It is the tropics, so expect humidity, the occasional small lizard, tiny ants, and some rain — all part of island life. Internet was strong/reliable. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked better than any rental we’ve had with quality tools and thoughtful extras. The RO water system & ice maker were absolute game changers. Washer/dryer saved us from overpacking, & basics like TP, paper towels, & trash bags were provided. Hosts Lesley & Lindsay, along with property manager Vanessa, were very responsive & helpful. We rented a car; it’s a short drive to West Bay. Watching sunrises, cruise ships, & stars from the balcony was unforgettable. Pickleball court was a fun bonus. Highly recommend, would stay again!

Great location for those that love the sound of the ocean in your backyard. Super views. Location is minutes from West Bay. We rented a car so beaches and other adventures were easily accessible. Our local host, Vanessa, was super helpful. Some of the appliances and furniture are a bit worn but that did not take away from our fabulous time. The decks and widow’s watch are great places to hang out. We had no issues with electricity, water or internet (as you seem to hear about often in Roatan). We would definitely come back again!

Cozy and quiet home. Walking distance from West Bay Beach. Lots of entertaining things to do. Easy access to transportation. Spacious and just beautiful all around. Would suggest for a full island experience.

We stayed at Lesley and Lindsays place for 10 days. It was amazing! We were picked up at the airport and taking grocery shopping which was very convenient. After about a half hour we arrived at the house. The views were incredible. Everything we needed was at the house. I would definitely go back and highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay while in Roatan if looking for a quiet residential type place. Having a car is helpful if wanting to travel around as the place is not on the main drag where taxi’s frequent. If you like to walk there is a 10 min trail to West Bay. The West End though is a walk + a water taxi away. House was fully stocked with more than the typical kitchen supplies, open concept, ACs were nice in the rooms, communication great and the bracelets to the Mayan Princess resort were a nice treat. Would definitely stay again.

Lesley and Lindsay’s house is everything they said it was. The house is laid out well and contained everything you need to stay there for an extended stay. Lesley arranged for us to be picked up and the airport, which was a massive help. After a quick stop at the grocery store it was a 20 min drive to the house. We sat out on the deck and watched the sun rise having a cup of coffee. It was so very civilized. The path from the house over to West Bay was an easy walk and it took about 15 mins. In West Bay you’ll find restaurants, cafés, a car rental and dive shops. it’s all there. The West Bay beach could be the nicest beach I have ever been on. I can’t recommend Casa Tranquilidad enough. We are already having discussions about when we can return.

A very quiet house, I would return new mind.

We thoroughly enjoyed the island and this home. Located in West Bay in a quiet residential area and just minutes away from the great West Bay Beach. The view of the balcony is breathtaking and access to the palapa is just as breathtaking. Rent a car to move around freely. Access to the Maya Princess for the pool, beach and chairs was greatly appreciated. The sea air has made its mark on the house, there are a few ants and living room kitchen can get hot but the house is well equipped and the value for money is excellent.

Great spot! Beautiful views and lovely house. The island experienced more power outages than usual the week we were there but that’s not the norm. I’d definitely stay here again!

Really nice house with an extraordinary ocean view. Big enough to make you feel comfortable in every room and the big patio. I won't forget that peaceful sound of the waves...Thanks for helping on having a nice stay at your house!

Fabulous vacation. We will be back!

Tranquilidad is a lovely spot, beautifully located on the tranquil iron shore side of the island. The decks are lovely, and it is very private. Nice to be able to walk to West Bay. We loved the Kismet bar and watched the sunset from there on Sunday which is brick oven pizza night. Great snorkelling from Kismet for those willing to pick their way through the turtle grass and shallow coral. We felt very safe at this location in the Turtle Crossing community, and on Roatan generally. Pool was also lovely and well maintained. Kids loved it. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Tranquilidad.

This is a lovely and simple house with a great view. Walking to the water is not really for anything but viewing as this side of the Island is very rough waters and windy. But it is a beautiful view of the sunrise. It is a short and easy drive to West Bay. You can walk but I would not be interested in carting my beach gear walking. I recommend renting a car. The a/c is only in the two bedrooms. Not in the loft or living area. No problem while we where there as the weather was very comfortable. There was a strong wind at night. Our only real problem was the internet is quite weak. Our only way of communication was internet so this was a problem at times. The passes to Mayan Princess are nice to have for beach access - on days the cruise ships come in there can be a problem getting chairs. Very nice people at Mayan Princess and reasonable food and drinks.

Really nice place, good communication with Vanessa. We had to make last hour changes and they were always collaborative with us. The atmosphere of the neighborhood is extremely relaxing and the views are priceless. You have to consider that there is 20 minute walk, or 5 minute car ride, to the best beach of the island, but it is a fare trade considering what you get in exchange. The Mayan Princess access is really appreciatted.

This beautiful home is a quiet retreat from the livelier West Bay beach area, which is in walking distance but we rented a car for the week to visit other parts of the island which was phenomenal. Amazing views of the ocean that begin with the rich greenery that surrounds the back of the house. Comfortable and accomodating, we felt like we had it all, staying at Casa Tranquilidad. Thank you to Lesley, Lindsay and Vanessa for a great experience!

The house is so amazing! You feel so comfortable and the view is just great! Good located place! To the beach you can take a walk (10-15min). You arrive directly to west bay where you will enjoy the amazing beach of roatan. Go ahead and decide casa tranquilidad :-)

Lesley And Lindsay thank you so much for opening your home to me and my guest. the stress that we have endured during this year was just that .....stress, but your home made the stress irrelevant. Vanessa and your entire staff were nothing less than amazing. I felt safe, welcomed serene at your home. Casa Tranquilidad is in fact what the name stands for. Mayan Princess was beautiful and relaxing as well. I will recommend this home to anyone if they are heading to Roatan, Honduras, its worth every penny.

We enjoyed our stay, nice house, great views, quiet, lots of room, good A/C in bedrooms, realistically a 30 min walk into town & a bit hilly, a car would be a good idea. Would rent again.

Our time at "Casa Tranquilidad" was spectacular, the views were incredible. We're planing to go back again. Love the house and the "tranquilidad" we had.

The place is great! The AC units in the bedrooms are downright cold, so no problem sleeping. The crosswinds are great, though and can get warm during the day, but most of the day you'll be out enjoying the island. The beach is a bit of a hike, we rented a car for the week as we had no problem getting around and with the use of the Mayan Princess resort, parking was free. The kitchen had everything we needed to get us through the the week... is it 5 star, no... is it a beach house with a view in an incredible location in the tropics, yes... so it comes with the issues of the tropics... an occasional creepy crawler.. some salt air rust... occasional electricity drops... so what... this is Island life. Humming birds all day long in the trees off the patio, crystal clear turquoise water right there (not a beach, but great snorkeling on a calm day - (15 to 20 ft deep) just go to the end of the gazebo steps dive in... or you can wave down a water taxi and they'll take to west bay... we used the hammock daily, only wish there were two lol... over all great basecamp, quiet, somewhat private, garden done so patio is mostly blocked from neighbors...lizards, birds, and nature all around! Great place!

We stayed at Casa Tranquilidad for 12 days. We couldn't have asked for more of an island feel in this most beautiful house that is about an 8-10 minute walk to West Bay. The path is picturesque and easy access whenever we wanted to snorkel or swim. We loved Turtle Crossing where the house is located because there is a constant refreshing breeze that West Bay doesn't have. The oceanfront view from the wrap around porch is beyond spectacular and completely private. Though you can't swim out front due to sharp coral and rough waves we loved just relaxing on the deck and taking in this paradise environment. The house is beautifully decorated, very roomy and we'll stocked with towels and linens, large and small kitchen appliances and housewares. The community pool across the street is in emaculate condition and is never crowded. The air conditioning in both bedrooms runs very efficiently and the beds are very comfortable with clean white linens. We also really appreciated the day passes for the Mayan Princess. We would absolutely recommend Casa Tranquilidad as a very safe, relaxed island paradise.

We really enjoyed the location of this home - very quiet/secluded but still within walking distance to West Bay (15 min when taking the shortcut across the open field). There was ocean access a few steps from the home, but most days the water was too choppy. The snorkelling was better from West Bay. Beautiful views from the patio. Home was well equipped with kitchen utensils, basic spices/tin foil/garbage bags/toilet paper etc. Very clean sheets/towels. We would definitely return again!

Beautiful, quiet location. The house is a little weathered, but very spacious. And the view from the porch is second to none! Lesley, Lindsay, and Venessa (our local contact) were wonderful to work with. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

We fell in love with Casa Tranquilidad more every day on the island. The iron shore views from the house are breathtaking and relaxing. The location is close to West Bay Beach and yet secluded and private in the house. Lesley and Lindsay are great hosts and the property manager Vanessa wad a great help in terms of finding out local spots to eat, activities, and answering questions throughout our stay. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our one-week stay at the house. It was wonderful to be right on the ocean, and it was nice and spacious for our group of two adults and a teenager. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, and it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to the main beach area of West Bay. Although it is definitely walkable to the beach, we are glad we rented a car because there are some hills on the way and of course, the weather is nice and hot. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking, and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning in the bedrooms are nice new units and work great and with minimal noise. This house is a great value for a family staying in the West Bay area.

My family of 5 (kids 11,13,& 15) truly enjoyed our stay. You're a short 3 minute car ride or 20 minute walk to Westbay. Great quiet location, big views, and great stars at night. We only ran the AC in the bedrooms at night and brought the extra bed from the loft down to one of the bedrooms. No AC in loft, so keep that in mind if you have a 5 people. They have a great property manager, Vanessa, that will give you island pointers and make sure you have a great stay.
