What an amazing place! The house was a paradise for the family! We made hamburgers on the grill, we enjoyed the pool, the terrace, the lagoon, and that view to the fullest! Wow! The rooms are super comfortable! Having the kayaks and paddleboard there is a super plus! Thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation!

It is an excellent place. SAMAO is beautiful, but this house was very comfortable for spending time with the family and with every amenity. Also, the host was very flexible and kind throughout the process.

The stay was very comfortable from start to finish during the days we were there… it's completely worth it. It exceeds expectations, and the staff's service is very good and consistent.

Very nice house, it is evident that they care about the maintenance and good condition of the house. The children spent happy days in the heated pool Our Christmas vacation was very pleasant. We definitely recommend this house and will be back soon. A plus is Rafael, the caretaker of the house, he also has a restaurant where they prepare the typical fish cracklings. He also offered us a boat ride at a very fair price, which we also enjoyed. Congratulations on how you have this property. Thanks Paco for being attentive and for welcoming us with a beautiful touch

Excellent place, it is in a very good location, a private area and the house is excellent, hot water in the pool and all the amenities for a good stay, I highly recommend it. The house looks better in person than in the photos 😁

Excellent choice to spend family time, the house is very spacious and has everything you need to spend a few days there, the furniture is good quality and the beds are comfortable, the view of the lagoon is very nice, it is certainly worth it, if you intend to go kayaking, the rental option with the owners is very good, we had a pleasant time as a family and we all liked this house, we want to go back.

We had a great time at the Airbnb. They were flexible with the check-in and check-out times. The place was very nice, and the rooms were good. It's definitely an Airbnb I would stay at again. It would have been nice if the kayaks had oars so we could make the most of them. But otherwise, everything was great, and we were very satisfied.

Casa SAMAO was an excellent choice for a family vacation. Paco and Roberto (Co-host) were very attentive, friendly and helpful with our communication. This is the third time we've stayed at this beautiful home, and we will definitely be back. It has everything you need to spend a few incredible days; the views are stunning. My friends and family ask me if it's Canada :) The house comes with everything you need, so you won't want to leave it.

Casama Samao is excellent; everything is super comfortable. It's a place where you can enjoy nature and relax. It's very easy to get to, and Paco is always attentive to whatever you need. He's an excellent host, and the house is very spacious. My family and I enjoyed it very much.

A Jewel hidden in the Lagoon. The house was as shown in the pictures, it is a private area and has all the amenities. It is one of the few house in front of the lagoon that has pool.l and accepts pets. Paco and Roberto had very good attention during the stay. We hope to return soon.

The house was amazing and Paco was truly a great host. He communicated with us throughout our arrival and during the visit. Extremely comfortable and we felt right at home from the time we opened the door. The lake was really relaxing as well, definitely calmer in the early hours but the wind was refreshing too. We had a lot of fun using their kayak and paddle boards cruising around the lake. We ordered from Rafael's restaurant for most of our meals. The pescado chicharron was amazing and I would suggest everyone give it a try. I would also suggest stopping by a grocery store before heading out to the lake as the small markets in Santa Maria are not supplied with much, just basics and they close fairly early. Overall the trip and experience was truly memorable for our friends and family.

Amazing place

Beautiful home and a great place to spend time with friends. Pool was heated and where our kids spent most of the weekend. Large table was perfect for great meals and sobremesa. 2 complete bathrooms upstairs plus 2 half bathrooms downstairs meant there was plenty of access for anyone that needed it. Very private and secluded with private access to the lake. Amazing house!

Beautiful villa, very well-equipped kitchen, very responsive host, all in a beautiful environment, not to mention the very pleasant heated pool. We didn't expect so much. Absolutely worth trying.

Paco's house is spectacularly situated on the lake. There are multiple locations at different elevations from which to contemplate the breathtaking views. The house is very spacious with bedrooms upstairs and living room, kitchen, and the terrace downstairs. We really enjoyed cooking our meals and then eating them on the terrace with the lake in the background. The swimming pool is heated, but visiting in December we found that it's worth the effort to cover it at night in order to enjoy even warmer water the next day.

An excellent option to spend a few quiet days. Very nice house, very clean, everything was comfortable. Super comfortable pool, also with direct access to the lake, my family and I had a great time, we hope to return soon. Paco and Rafael were very helpful at all times.

Amazing Casa Samao on the shore of the lagoon. The house is divine, spacious and perfect for relaxing and enjoying with friends or family!! You can breathe in the peace. Paco, the host, is super attentive and available to answer all your questions. TIP: Don't miss the “chicharrón de pescado,” a typical dish that the friendly “Rafa from Fonda Mary” brings to the house. Highly recommended!!

would definitely go to this place again, it is in a great place and is super equipped,for 200 pesos you can wash a kayak to be able to enjoy the lagoon in another way, it also has life jackets to be able to swim without any fear. and Rafael provides a great service, we ran out of some items and he brought them without any problem, in addition the fish chicharrón we asked for was very tasty.

Excellent place with everything you need for a great weekend. Everything's in very good condition and clean. This is the second time I have booked and I noticed several improvements that they made to the house, even though the first time I had already thought it was great. Paco and Rafael were always in communication and supportive with whatever was needed. I highly recommend it. At night, some moths start to come in because of the lights, but when you turn on the pool lights, they disperse. Also, make sure to keep the windows and doors of the rooms closed so that when you go to sleep, you don't have to deal with getting the bugs out.

We were 8 senior citizens, 5 foreigners and 3 Mexicans; 4 of us celebrated our birthdays. We loved our stay at Casama. We regret not having booked it for more days. A very nice house and a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Very good service from Paco and Rafael. The only detail to note is that if the location is a little remote, the distance from the entrance to the village to the house is about another 30 minutes. But it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended
