Our stay at Marly’s Place was a wonderful part of our trip to Belize. Herbert reached out to me shortly after I reserved the house. He was pleasant, very responsive and kind. The house was simply lovely and comfortable. My party of three had everything we needed while we were there. The pool was perfect, and as described. The beach was clean, the water was warm and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. There were plenty of towels, plenty of outdoor furniture, the kitchen was stocked with all essentials, the beds were comfy, and Herbert made finding the house easy. He offered to take care of additional things, however, the place was top notch and we needed nothing more. I highly recommend if you find yourself in Placencia.

We had a wonderful time at Marly’s Place for our honeymoon! The house was a peaceful oasis, and we loved having our own private space right on the beach. The pool was in a perfect location in the shade. We really enjoyed using the kayak to explore the water just off the beach from our house. The house was clean and comfortable and the location was great for getting to lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Herbert’s place was great for our family! We were a little concerned about the “external” stairway and having our kids on a different floor, but the stairway was enclosed and behind a locked gate - and our kids loved having some independence and a space of their own. The pool was big enough for 3 kids and four feet deep throughout. Herbert was very quick to communicate and an extremely helpful host!

Marley's Place is stunning. Do not even hesitate to book. Location is safe. House has fence so there is privacy. You can walk right out on the beach and there is also a canopy that provides shade. Pool is awesome for cooling down and listening to the ocean. You have everything you need to relax and relax some more. 😁

Marly's place is located in the ideal spot in Maya Beach. Very clean and well stocked with any you need. Herbert had many recommendations from restaurants to tours! Our family had the best stay yet in Belize. The pool was so relaxing after a long day. The hammock added to the relaxation with amazing views of the ocean. The water was too choppy to use the ocean kayak which was a bummer but the lounge chairs and table on the deck made up for it! We felt very safe with the gate in front and back. The grill was very useful! Definitely coming back!

Perfect spot in Belize!! House is absolutely amazing and a great location. Easy to get to snorkeling locations and the house is ideal for couples. Hebert was so easy to communicate with and made the whole trip wonderful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and beach; the balcony was so nice with the breeze and the gorgeous view. Herbert was very quick to respond to communication. Highly recommend!

Amazing

The five of us really enjoyed our time -- comfortable beds, nice and clean, great A/C, well-stocked kitchen, and we especially loved the main porch off the kitchen and the kayaks. It's an extraordinarily beautiful setting from sunrise to sunset. We really recommend this place.

Herbert's listing was very beautiful you can walk out into the Caribbean sea and then there is a sandbar. We saw Star fish, needlefish and rays in the water in front of the house. I am sure if you snorkel there are more to see. The property was very clean, lovely kitchen which was well equipped new appliances. The baths in the main suite and upper suite have been updated very nicely. Lots of towels! The Junior Suite is very cozy and clean. Herbert was very prompt to reply and so understanding to all our questions and concerns. We did use the bikes and the kayak's from Maya Beach Hotel which was a very nice bonus. We would very much recommend booking with Herbert..

Fantastic location- just dreamy! Very peaceful and nice to be able to walk on the beach and to great local restaurants- our favourite was the Green parrot! Herbert was so helpful and kind. Couldn’t ask for more and would LOVE to go back!

The space was just perfect for 4 people. The location was safe and near grocery stores and restaurants. The beach was amazing and the pool was just perfect. The house had everything we needed and more. The couple of minor questions we had, Herbert was extremely responsive. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and linens. Only one small thing to add, The property to the south is all concrete and any noise over there outside comes right up into the house. We did have one night where those people stayed up very late and were very loud, but we contacted Herbert the next morning and the property manager of the adjacent property and they were quiet as a mouse the next night.

Super nice place - spectacular setting - off the beaten path for peace and quiet, but still close enough to restaurants and activities. We loved it!! Herbert was amazingly helpful!

Beautiful house right on the beach! We enjoyed our stay

This property was perfect for our needs. The pictures don’t do it justice. The place is even more beautiful in person. The water is just steps away from the back porch, and the house worked wonderfully for my family. My wife and I stayed in the main bedroom, and my adult kids each had their own living areas. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The Maya Beach Hotel nearby was also very nice; we booked some tours through them and used their bikes during our stay. We dined out every night at different hotels and restaurants. We rented a golf cart, which was very useful, though we took taxis into town since the weather wasn’t great and it was more convenient. I would definitely stay at this property again. The hosts were excellent and responded quickly to all our questions.
