I thought the place was very nice. It was clean, private and peaceful. You could also walk to local restaurants and the beach was a short drive away (you could also walk it if you like). The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, I would stay there again in the future.

Beautiful home! We loved our time here. It’s a lovely oasis during the dry season. We came with two couples and our daughter. The layout was amazing with 4 king suites, and ac units in each suite. Not necessarily the most ideal for young children as there are lots of small concrete steps/architectural features. You do need a car or transportation to the beach, or restaurants. We felt safe, and relaxed, and would stay here again for sure.

This villa is absolutely amazing. A peaceful haven minutes from the beach. The beds are so comfortable that you’d be tempted to stay in bed all day, but the place is simply too beautiful to do that. There could be a few more cooking utensils, but overall, everything is perfectly functional. The pool is maintained every day, and the hosts are very generous with their advice and responses. We have to go back!

I stayed at this place through Airbnb and it was really a wonderful experience. The room is quite nice, it even looks better in person than in the pictures. The structure is modern and very well designed, which makes the stay comfortable and pleasant. Outside the room there is a hammock perfect for resting and enjoying the natural environment. The area is surrounded by nature and is currently being reforested, which gives it a very special atmosphere. During our stay we had the incredible experience of seeing a family of howler monkeys pass just a meter from the room, something really magical. The pool is phenomenal, very relaxing and perfect for disconnecting. In addition, the hosts were very friendly and allowed me to stay a few extra hours, which is greatly appreciated when you are traveling. One of my favourite Airbnb experiences! We loved this place for travelling with a group. It had private rooms as well as areas more than big enough that everyone could sit together. The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts were kind and responsive. We also liked that we were a bit out of the more touristy areas and felt like we got a more authentic experience. We’re already planning a trip back!

A delightful sanctuary, ideal for our group of five.

It was an absolute pleasure staying here, and it was THE PERFECT private getaway for our trip! The house in general was beautifully designed, with a nice outdoor patio area and a spacious bathroom. The area (playa negra) is quiet and has amazing restaurants nearby, as well as easy access to a calm, locals beach! I’d absolutely 100% come back here on my next stay to Costa Rica. Great place to stay in the countryside. Everything super clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Great pool. There are many beautiful beaches and restaurants in the area, a great café and a small supermarket are within walking distance. The hosts are super friendly and straightforward. We were allowed to use the pool even longer after check-out. Thank you again for everything!

This home is tranquility! Feels new and modern while also blending in beautifully with nature. Super close to beautiful Playa Negra and great restaurants. We love this neighborhood. But most days were spent laying by the pool in comfy bean bags reading books, napping on the cozy outdoor furniture and just enjoying our beautiful surroundings. Bed's were super comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. We made meals at home easily. Beach is a 5 minute drive and we caught the sunset there each night. Hosts were super friendly and attentive although we needed nothing during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Christian's place is a paradise oasis. We liked the privacy at the house and the opportunity to meet the hosts and other guests at the communal pool. The grounds are beautiful. The hosts are dedicated to reforestation and have developed a lovely property with lots of nature surrounding it. We loved just hanging out in the hammock and listening to the sounds of nature or spotting animals. On the property we had the pleasure of seeing howler monkeys, an armadillo, a snake, and many species of birds including a mot mot. Although the property is vibrant in January, the surrounding area is very dry and dusty. The dirt in the air from the roads irritated my lungs. I wouldn't want to walk on the roads this time of year. The surrounding beaches were very quiet and natural, with strong currents. They are more suited to surfing than swimming. We are grateful for Christian's oasis and the hosts' reforestation work at their own and surrounding properties.

We loved our stay here. The pool was great, the rooms were comfy, and the AC in the rooms was nice and cold. The location was perfect—close to a beautiful beach and only about a 40-minute drive to Tamarindo. Tons of great restaurants nearby too. Our family of four had an amazing time and would 100% stay here again.

Another amazing stay at Mango house! Peaceful and relaxing clean and comfortable. Playa Negra is one our favorite towns and beach. Highly recommend
