Our stay at Casa Leon was extremely enjoyable! The house was very spacious and clean. The beach is footsteps away and the views were incredible. Having the area so walkable was a great surprise. Restaurants and shops conveniently located footsteps from the house. The house helped provide the relaxing vacation we all needed.

Casa Leon is an upscale well furnished 5* house on the beach and only a couple of blocks from the main street of great restaurants. About a 10 minute walk north of the main square. The large pool in the inner courtyard was enjoyed several times a day by my 5 grandchildren. Highly recommend.

The location & size of the place were exactly what we needed & as described. So easy for a large group and for young kids to play in a safe environment. The rooms had everything we needed and the host was very easy to communicate with when we ran out of any supplies. We would stay here again some time.

Communication with Mayela was a big plus! Both before our arrival for all our questions, the organization of our transport from the airport, the booking of a home chef, she was very helpful! Once there, the house was perfect, great location, perfectly equipped, suitable for a large family. Lots of little details that made our stay a success, including all the beach accessories (parasols, chairs, VFI, beach games, etc.), but also the amenities of the house (air conditioning, washer, dryer, two refrigerators, plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces, etc.) Finally, Mayela was very responsive to any questions or requests we had, and sent people as soon as necessary. The 5 children and 8 adults in our group highly recommend the house!

Awesome place to stay !

To give perspective, we were 6 adults and 5 children ages 15 mos, 2 3 yr olds and 2 6 yr olds. The place is absolutely beautiful, charming and artistic. It was soooo spacious and airy. We had nice rooms each with a bathroom. The large courtyard had a pool that was perfect for the kids. There’s a large play area between the beach and the house. It was perfect! Mayela, the hostess, was so prompt in answering messages. She was great to work with. My family is already planning our next visit there.

Outstanding location and an amazing and unique home. Host was extremely responsive with any questions or concerns. Provided plenty of drinking water. Loved that it was walkable to bars and restaurants. But be aware the proximity does mean most of the bedrooms will hear the music from the bars at night to some extent. We were a group of 9 people and the home felt very spacious to us. Our favorite spot was the large table on the terrace where we frequently gathered to visit and enjoy the water view. We would highly recommend this home and we intend to come back.

This home was perfect for our large family vacation. The kids loved the pool, the direct access to the beautiful beach, and snorkeling to the Ojo de Agua. Mayela was quick to respond when an electrical issue arose after a storm. Would definitely come back!

We loved this home and it was so fun for our family of 11 to stay in. The kids had fun and the ocean was beautiful. The only issue was some power problems which we think was from the hurricane recently. But everytime the power went out she was quick to respond and work on the issue. This small town is great and I would like to come back.

Awesome place for a group vacation! On the beach, lots of restaurants within walking distance, a great pool and wonderful accommodations.

We had a lovely time at Casa Leon! There were eight adults and seven children and it was a perfect fit. The location was excellent; so close to the main village with lots of great restaurants and access to groceries. Only thing is some visitors wouldn’t like the noise at night as Casa Leon is beside two hotels /restaurants and they sometimes have live music. It didn’t bother us too much though. We loved being right on the beach. Mayela was very communicative and quick to respond to our queries. Overall a wonderful place to have a family vacation !

Casa Leon is a beautiful, large house located right on the beach and just a short 5 minute walk from the center of Puerto Morelos. The house has a large kitchen which was perfect for preparting meals. There is a small swimming pool in the interior of the house which was great for a cooling dip during the heat of the day or just before bed. There are 5 good size bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and 3 of the 5 rooms have beach views. The second floor has a large balcony, There is a large exterior terrace on the beach side that has two covered areas for eating or relaxing and their is a barbecue and pizza oven. The terrace was not only great for meals but also for lounging in the sun. Casa Leon is a great place for groups of friends or a family gathering. Mayela was super attentive. No wonder she has earned her designation as a super host!

Two most amazing attributes of this property are the location and responsiveness of the host! Mayela was available and responsive from the moment we considered booking this property to the last minute of our stay. She helped us transportation, finding a chef and everything in between. The location of the house cannot be better! It is located on the best stretch of the beach in Puerto Morelos. If you are looking for a quiet and private beach, that is not what you would get. But it is definitely very local, safe and beautiful! It is a five minute walk to the main street and square. Puerto Morelos is a cozy little town with many restaurants, bars, bakeries and coffee shops. The main grocery store has everything you need. It is not cheap but definitely convenient. The house itself is great but is dated and needs some work. Water pressure in some bathroom showers was very low and the rooms and kitchen are a bit musty and need to be refreshed. But all in all, the stay was fantastic!

This place was perfect for our family vacation, the location is right in front of the beautiful beach that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling . The house has lots of space with full bathroom in every room, great kitchen with all the accessories you might need, big barbecue grill in the outside patio in front of the beach, great pool and the area is very safe. Mayela is a great host, she is very friendly, communicative and she makes herself available at any time. We had a great time.

Where do I start? Mayela has been so helpful, flexible, and informative. The house? For a multi family group it was perfect. Rooms were private, had their own bathrooms, and upstairs had a beautiful balcony. Had pool toys, sand toys, and we left some baby float and toddler swim vest for future families. Location? If you are a family, this location out does Cancun by about 10,000. It's a sleepy beach town with cool night life that is child friendly. The plaza is beautiful and classically Mexican. As Catholics, we were greatful for mass being walking distance. We did have a car for excursions, but totally not necessary. This locale gives me central CA coastal vibes with the view of the carribean, and the culture of Mexico. I mean- the people anywhere in MEX are top notch, friendly, open and welcoming- Puerto Morelos and this host were no different. Clean? 100%. perspective from middle class californians and a big family. Beach was sea weed free.

Our families had a wonderful time at Casa León! Fantastic location on the beach, Mayela was always quick to respond, and the pool and beach access couldn't be beat. We'd highly recommend it!!

This was a great first Airbnb experience. The location was wonderful!! Right outside where the beach access is you will find the National reef park. It is just a few meters way from the shore. To protect the reef you must go with guides. You can easily find them or they will find you by walking towards the town. If you don’t want to go to the reefs you can also go snorkeling near the area marked with a sea buoy, you will find many fishes and a water hole. The town is walking distance (5-6 minutes) where you can find local restaurants, pharmacy, and the grocery stores. Sink holes “ Cenotes” are near by, about 22 minutes away towards “ Ruta de los cenotes” where you can find a whole street full of them. Price range from $150-600 pesos. Mayela is very approachable, responsible, responds quickly, including during the holidays. She is willing to give recommendations. The house is very spacious and has all you need. Over all extremely happy with choosing Casa Leon! Whole family love it.

Excellent place to stay right in front of the beach. The outdoor grill and oven are amazing. Truly one of the best places I have stayed in my life.

Steps from the beach, mere blocks from most restaurants and the town center, what a great place to unwind.

Perfect home to host a large family or. Each bedroom had a key so all family members could leave as they pleased and all has their private bathroom. Beachfront, private pool, private grill, large kitchen and many areas to just hang out. The home is in the center of this small town filled with shops and great food. Don’t pass this his up if you are looking something more laid back and not touristy.

We loved Casa Leon. Beautiful house. My family 👪 had an awesome time in the pool and at the beach ⛱️! House is big enough and kitchen is fully stocked. Very close to restaurants, grocery store and of course the beach. Would recommend to everyone. Mayela is very attentive and there to help you with your needs. I love the house and if possible will book again in the future. The town is very safe and quaint!

Best house in the best location with the best beach! This is the perfect house for a group or family. We will definitely return in the future. Excellent communication and cleanliness. The AC was wonderful

Tons of room for 10 people. Patio is huge! Tons of seating both inside and outside. Great times on the beach and in the pool. So close to restaurants and the grocery store. We walked everywhere on the beach and on the roads. The town feels very safe. We didn't want for anything. Mayela was very helpful whenever we had any questions. It was nice to have a/c in the rooms and our own bathrooms. For the first time ever, all 10 people that we had for the 8 nights said they would come back and stay at Casa Leon. Would highly recommend to any larger families. If you want to be together you can be together. If you need a little 'me' time, that can happen, too! The only suggestion I would have is to bring bug spray--mostly for in town at the restaurants. Beautiful sunrises, amazing water and such a fun atmosphere without being crazy like the bigger cities that are near Puerto Morelos.

Perfectly situated within a short walking distance from everything. Great for hosting a large group. Walk out of your pool, and right out onto the beach and into the ocean. perfect for families. The host mayela was able to help us with a bunch of different things, stay couldn't have been better.

Host was responsive. House is huge and beautiful. The location is probably the best lot in all of Puerto Morelos. Exactly in the middle of the buoyed snorkeling/swimming area. Very close to tons of restaurants.

We were in 3 families for 1.5 weeks in this house. The house is super in every respect: size, LOCATION, swimming pool, terrace, large equipped kitchen. It's all as described. I'd recommend a group of friends with children or children when they travel.

The house was exactly as pictured. The location is awesome. The beach is great. Puerto Morelos is a great town and the house is in easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores. Overall great location and experience!

Casa León is exactly what we wanted to find. It's a gem inside Puerto Morelos and Mayela was a great host. The place is wonderful, whether it's ocean front has the same and the space in the house, as well as the design of it, just made it perfect for what we were looking for: an incredible time with the family, in an incredible and comfortable place. Casa León is a "must" in Puerto Morelos.

The house was excellent. We were 15 family members ages 5 to 75. The location is perfect. You are walking distance to restaurants and bars and grocery stores. The rooms were perfect because each one has its own bathroom and AC. The kitchen was big enough for all of us. There is plenty of beach chairs and a couple of umbrellas to lounge on the beach. There is a little spa right next door that offers massages at a very reasonable price. The pool was always warm and it wasn’t so deep for the kids to enjoy. We also really enjoyed the grill and outdoor eating area, there is so much room!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Being right on the beach was a super lovely way to unwind! The town and beach was a bit busier than I expected it to be, but the house itself was perfect for what we needed and Mayela was quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you!!

We had a fantastic family vacation in this house. There were 10 of us. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. There’s lots of space for everyone whatever the weather or the time of the day. Everything was exactly as in the pictures. The house’s location is perfect. You can walk everywhere, you’re in front of a magnificent snorkeling zone. It’s safe and you can park cars inside. Massages are next door, restaurants are all around. Mayela is the best host, super sweet and responsive.
