Villa Laurel

Ein Bijou - mit wunderschöner Sicht über die Hügel und das Meer. Melissa ist sehr gut erreichbar und eine grossherzige, unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und wie zuhause.

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! It’s even better than the photos somehow. The space was perfect for two people. It was super clean and comfortable. Melissa made sure we had everything we needed and was very hospitable and accommodating. Her dogs are also adorable! The road to the house is indeed steep and bumpy but the view and tranquillity are 100% worth it. Just note that when you’re leaving to go into town or the beach, you shouldn’t follow your GPS if it tells you to turn right out of the driveway unless you want to go on essentially an ATV path. We enjoyed our time here so much, we’re already trying to plan when we can come back!

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum. Die Aussicht mit Blick auf das Meer und den Geräuschen der Tiere war unbeschreiblich. Der Pool war ebenfalls sehr schön. Melissa war die mit Abstand beste Gastgeberin die wir bisher kennen gelernt haben. Sie war super hilfsbereit, jederzeit zu erreichen und immer sehr freundlich. Wir durften sogar später auschecken und konnten so den Tag noch am Meer verbringen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

only issue was lack of hand rails for the many steps. for older people like me. Bed was really comfortable. Kitchen had all necessary tools and air conditioning worked perfectly

Melissa’s place was comfortable and offered more privacy than we anticipated. She is a gracious host. Carrillo allowed us to enjoy Samara’s nearby amenities while exploring the stunning beaches that are further south.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Laurel. Melissa communicated well, directions to her place were perfect (she even sent some pictures to help with navigation) and she welcomed us with open arms. The villa is beautiful, private and comfortable. The pool was ours to use while we stayed there, which, was refreshing. The view from the property is incredible!! The drive up to it was a dirt road but it was fine and totally worth it, plus we had a 4wd vehicle. It was very helpful for us to have a washer and dryer & hot water. Melissa even provided beach chairs, umbrella, a cooler and extra towels for our use when we went to the beach! ! Be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner like many places here. The villa is not far from Playa Carrillo, which is such a beautiful, uncrowded beach. I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you Melissa!

This is by far the nicest place I have ever stayed at! The pictures don’t do justice how beautiful Melissa’s Airbnb is… it felt like we were at a luxury resort. The views are incredible and the property is so beautiful we never wanted to leave. It had everything you could need from a fully equipped kitchen, laundry in the villa, an outdoor pool and deck with a covered area for grilling and preparing food. We even were able to use the exercise equipment outside to work out! We also had complete private use of the pool as Melissa and her family don’t use it while guests are staying. Our stay was so perfect and Melissa was so kind and proactive in making sure we had the best possible time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone and would definitely come back!

My husband and I had a wonderful 8 night stay at Villa Laurel. Melissa and Oscar were very responsive and welcoming. The location/view was amazing. The villa was extremely clean, very comfortable, private and fully stocked. Washer and dryer in unit was convenient. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were provided for the beautiful beaches, just a short ride down the hill. We enjoyed the pool area as well as relaxing in our private outdoor area. We look forward to returning in the future. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

L’appartement est parfait. Le lit de très confortable et la cuisine est propre et bien équipée. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse, c’est un plus. L’espace piscine et bbq est pratique, nous l’avons bien apprécié. À savoir, l’eau de la piscine est froide. La maison est juchée sur le haut d’une montagne, et l’accès est très abrupte. Il faut un 4x4. C’est difficile de sortir sans la voiture. Pour descendre à l’appartement il y a des escaliers, donc à prendre en considération quand on a plusieurs valises. La vue est impressionnante et l’on entend les singes hurleurs se répondre d’une montagne à l’autre. Sans compter la diversité des oiseaux sur places. Les portes et les fenêtres sont en verre coulissantes sans de coulisses au bas, donc les insectes entrent (fourmis, araignées, milles-pattes et autres…). Melissa est très avenante et gentille. Ce fut une belle expérience

The view was stunning. Monkey’s and birds all around. Very nice couple they helped me get medical when I needed it. Very private setting and had the pool to ourselves.
