Me and my partner had a great stay here. Very safe neighborhood and close to everything.

This was my first time visiting La Fortuna so I was unfamiliar with the area and proximity of everything. Turns out John’s place was perfect. It was just outside of the hustle and bustle of central La Fortuna yet very accessible within a less than 5 minutes by car. There were plenty of grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants, etc within walking distance. John’s place was immaculate and extremely cozy and comfortable and super quiet with a nice private patio and porch to hang out and have some wine in the evenings. Tours were easy to book because they come pick you up. But I recommend regardless of where you stay in or around La Fortuna is to rent a car. The rental pays for itself because you don’t need to pay taxis or Ubers while offering flexibility to come and go as you please. And the driving is really no different from anywhere else in any countryside so all the people providing saying how crazy the driving are probably the ones that piss off regular drivers back home.

Great little house, very well equiped, and the pool is an added plus. The house is located in a perfect area, close enough to town, able to walk to to the supermarket and an excellent Italian restaurant close by. Also the house is located very close to La Fortuna waterfalls! I wouldn't hessitate to stay here again. Communication with John was excellent!

Todo muy bien, la localización es adecuada para conocer Fortuna y los alrededores de igual forma para conseguir medios de transporte. Tiene una vista muy bonita al volcán al igual que la zona es bastante tranquila. De igual forma se tiene a dos cuadras un supermercado en el cual puedes conseguir todo lo necesario. Los anfitriones siempre estuvieron al pendiente con instrucciones claras para llegar.

Casa hermosa privada ,súper limpia acogedora volvería a hospedarme en este lugar 100% recomendada , tienen juegos de mesa , la piscina todo 10/10

The place was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped . The pool was small, but refreshing. The location was surprising at first, but close to many local attractions and shopping. Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! We did have some trouble finding the house initially but John was responsive to our message and called to help us find our way. Once inside, everything was great! It’s a convenient location with groceries and restaurants so close by. The house is obviously well cared for and stocked with everything you should need for a comfortable stay. We would return again if we are in the area!

Had an incredible stay at John’s place! Would definitely return - very relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable experience!
