Unbelievable view to lake Arenal and surroundings, no view to the volcano. Spacious home for a large group or family. Hosts were unbelievably responsive within minutes of a request. No request was too much and always with a friendly attitude. Home has everything you can think you will ever need, even at your own home. Communication with host is continuous, and they always check to make sure everything is going well. Road access to the home is a steep dirt road with some paved lanes that requires a proper vehicle, but nothing out of place for Costa Rica. The only quirky thing about the home for some may be that ground floor room has bathrooms outside, and again nothing out of place for Costa Rica, just need to be aware. There is covered access to them. Kitchen is large and has everything working. Pool was clean and hot tub working great. Space outside with ground fireplace in the terrace was a nice touch, and we used quite often. 100% worth it and would use again. Thank you!!!

It was beautiful, The pictures do not do this place justice so hard to capture the beauty of it. The hosts were so welcoming and very helpful with whatever we needed and even made sure to give us a tour of the place and where everything was beforehand. It was nice being checked in on and we had everything we could have needed there . Definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there but other than that you truly get peace visiting this place .

This unique home has so much character and artistic flair, so it is very warm and inviting! We loved our private stay nestled in the lush hills of the forest, surrounded by creatures, wildlife, lush gardens and tranquility. We stayed with just our kids and enjoyed swimming in the pool, going for hikes, and visiting the rain forests with guides. Beautiful, private, and artistic home!

We had a wonderful stay here! It is a large place so for four of us, we had extra space. The hosts were very helpful in helping us locate the place as it is outside of town and met us at the bottom of the hill, which made it much easier to know we were in the right place. We also appreciated the note to pick up groceries prior to getting out there, the roads are gravel and rough so it takes time to get around. After a quick tour, they checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. The pool, hot tub, and main fire area were our favorite places. The view is fabulous. Our family was sad to leave!

Paul and Bhavani's home was beautiful! obviously the view of Lake Arenal is amazing, but the house itself is just as interesting. The layout, the design, the decor- it's all so unique. They had calming music playing when we arrived which added a lovely touch to our chaotic travel day.

This home was enchanting! The pictures don't do it justice. We arrived at night and all the unique, beautiful lights were on and music playing softly. When we woke in the morning the place really came to life with bird sounds, colour, and amazing views. There are so many amazing details that it'll take you days to drink it all in. We went as a group of 8 and frequently used the primary space around the fire ring for yoga classes. We hopped back and forth between the hot tub and the pool. We made meals in the well stocked kitchen. Great pots, pans, knives(so hard to find sharp ones in a rental!), and a commercial gas stove/oven. Loungers, hammocks, basket chairs, couches, so many ways to be cozy. Our hosts took us on a tour around their food garden on the property which was a trip highlight! In fact, our hosts were so great that I'd go back largely because of them! I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle. It's very hilly.

Absolutely beautiful home. Remote which ensured a very peaceful and relaxing stay with lots of wildlife. Paul and his wife very attentive, as they stay nearby. Also very safe area and everyone so friendly. Would highly recommend.
