Great cozy spot, easy walk into town. Very clean and very comfortable bed. Next door neighbor has 3 dogs that bark intensely in the early morning and when anyone arrives. Otherwise it was a perfect stay! Host left fruit and snacks, and was always available when needed. Would book again!

This is my go-to place when i am in San Jose! Safe, secure and accommodating. Definitely treated like family! The welcome is always warm and with a lovely welcome basket with fruit, coffee, coconuts and water…an authentic Costra Rican welcome !

This was a really nice, clean, and centrally located place to stay with my dog while taking care of business in Escazu. I was able to walk to central San Rafael businesses and the park very easy. I would stay here again next time I will be in Escazu.

A very spacious-feeling apartment with lovely views of the hills. You don't feel like you're in the city, but the amenities are a short bus/uber ride away. Useful to have the laundry facilities and a very well-stocked but random kitchen (35 knives but not a single teaspoon for example!) I did have a lot of issues though: - the person who was due to let me in was not there and uncontactable - the internet didn't work - the TV didn't work - the oven didn't work (twice) - there was no hot water - the roof leaked after heavy rain Each of these things was fixed with a huge Tico smile within 24hrs. And each of these things would have been fine in isolation. But it did feel as though not enough attention was paid to the basics. Perhaps this was because Tatiana was away as all other reviews are very positive.
