Welcome to Casa Gisela! A private and secure home sitting in the hills overlooking Lake Arenal. Enjoy breathtaking views of sunsets across the lake, while enjoying the covered back terrace, the 180 degree panoramic views from the dining room and the 3 spacious bedrooms. This house was the architect and builders’ house who built this ‘Las Flores’ gated community. The space The house has all the comforts you could need for your stay - a fully equipped kitchen with stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and tea kettle, 3 spacious and bright bedrooms with plenty of bed linens and fluffy pillows to fall into after a long day of exploring beautiful Costa Rica. We also provide plenty of towels, a fully equipped laundry room with a washer, dryer and ironing board, and 2 desks (1 in a designated office) for those looking to work or school from home, as well as fibre optic high speed internet to stay connected. The covered back terrace has an outdoor dining set to seat 6 - the perfect spot to have breakfast while the sun rises over the lake, or if sun rise is too early, a beautiful brunch while listening to the many tropical birds and howler monkeys. The backyard and pool area are private and secluded. Casa Gisela is situated close to many amenities in the town of Arenal (5 minute drive) and La Fortuna (40-45 minute drive), including: - a variety of excellent restaurants - horseback riding - hot springs (from the nearby volcano) - spas - yoga - zip lining - ATV’ing - supermarkets / grocery stores - hikes and nature walks *For added security, there are 2 security cameras on the exterior of the home only. The cameras are in place outdoors above the 2 entrances to the home (front door and back patio door). Guest access The entire house, as well as the yard and private pool.

The location of Pia’s place was amazing. Very peaceful & a lot of wildlife all around. An Amazing view & garden. The house was very spacious the kitchen was very well equipped & beds clean & comfortable. Some areas of the house could do with up dating. The twin room had a very musty smell & the drains did smell at times too. The weather was very wet which might not have helped this. The pool was in need of maintenance. Overall it was a great place.

The scenery is stunning. There are beautiful views. We did not see too many birds but that may just be the time of year we visited. The location is not close to anything in particular but it’s close enough and away from touristy areas which is more relaxing. The actual house was not as nice as expected. The whole house smells strongly of must and mold. They try to cover it with plug in air fresheners. The fabric shower curtain had mold all over it and the tub is very narrow to stand in. Hardly any hot water. There was an ant colony in the powder room bathroom. The kitchen sponge and scrubber were disgusting and need to be replaced. There was very limited supplies to clean with and no dishwasher detergent. Random assortment of dishes and cups. The knives for cutting up fruit such as melons or pineapples were so dull they were a hazard to use. The toaster was broken and wasn’t replaced until right before we left. Views are stunning but overall not as nice as pictured.

Exactly as pictured. Beautiful views and plenty of space for the family. Easy location to find with amazing views in every direction. Pia was very helpful and easy to contact. Would 100% recommend this location if you are looking for a serene location near local attractions. Worth every dollar.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa Gisela hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Ausblick ist wirklich unglaublich schön und das Haus ist sehr großzügig, etwas altmodisch aber sehr gemütlich. Der Garten und der Pool sind auch sehr schön gestaltet. Wir haben ganz viele besondere Vögel gesehen. Ein Tucan ist direkt über unseren Kopf hinweg geflogen.

A great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. Amazing views and fantastic wildlife Toucans on the bird table in the mornings and frogs in the evening. Highly recommend visiting the restaurant La Mansion for the food atmosphere and sunsets, also the magnificent Ceiba tree which was so awesome I went twice. House was spot on and would recommend to anyone who prefers nature to people ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Gisela. The property is immaculately cared for with incredible views. The house guidebook was full of excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. We can’t wait to visit again someday!!
